Harry's eyes had gone out of focus about halfway through the lesson and he was yet to refocus. Despite failing miserably in his OWLs and not taking it for a year History of Magic had become compulsory again focusing particularly on more modern events. It had started with the beginning of the first wizarding war and Harry had shut down. He heard some shuffling and when he refocused his eyes he saw everyone looking at him. Professor Binns was speaking still and looking directly at him

"The war ended on October 31st 1981 when You know who killed the last of our people for another 13 years. He was destroyed by his own spell that rebounded off a boy in this room" Harry looked uncomfortably at Ron who was sat behind him looking equally nervous. They must have changed the syllabus because Harry could not remember this ever being mentioned before (Or Binns covering something after the 1900s). Harry coughed discreetly and thankfully Binns dismissed them shortly after. Harry took off out of the class at breakneck speed leaving behind his belongings. Harry knew it was stupid to still hate all the eyes on him but it still felt like the First-year when everyone found out who he was, the Second year when the chamber was opened, Fourth-year when he was chosen for the Triwizard, Fifth-year when everyone thought he was a lunatic and sixth year when they thought he'd save them all and he still loathed it.

He could hear footsteps following and he darted into an empty classroom. Praying that no one had followed him and that his friends had got the hint to leave him be, he listened out for falling footsteps but found it resolutely quiet. Harry slid against the wall and landed on the old flagstones. Once he had calmed down slightly he looked at the room. He noticed it initially looked somewhat familiar but when he looked closer it wasn't the room that looked familiar but what was inside it. Stood in front of him was an old mirror. One he hadn't seen since he was in his first year buried under the then oversized invisibility cloak. Instantly Harry's feet moved on their own accord and instantly sat down in front of it enthralled.

The Mirror of Erised was just as he remembered it. Old and impressive. Harry hungrily looked into it and looked at his parents' faces for the first time since that night and couldn't help but smile when he saw Remus and Tonks standing close together and Sirius with his arms around both couples. Fred was also there smiling as always, even in death. But what shocked Harry the most was that in the foreground was him and Ginny. Harry's reflection was holding a slightly bigger Teddy and Ginny was holding a tiny blue bundle that seemed to squirm intermittently. Harry couldn't help but reach out and touch the glass. His family. All of them together.

Harry had wished so many times for his family to see his new one and he assumed that's where everyone came from. But that desire would never go away. However, he never expected Ginny to be part of it but now it all made sense. She was his amortentia and being apart from her for that horrible year felt like physical pain. Ginny was his deepest desire. His mind drifted back to that engagement ring currently residing in his vault. He wanted them to live together as soon as they left school. He didn't know about living in the castle but maybe they could get a flat in Hogsmeade or even further afield and he could floo in early in the morning. But Ginny might have to go away for training and then what. They end up apart? Could he go through that again?

Trying to push down his inner turmoil he watched as his reflection leant over and played with the bundle's fingers occasionally looking up to grin at Ginny.

As he watched the scene in front of him he could hear Dumbledore's words echo throughout his brain "It does not do well to dwell on dreams and forget to live" but what if he made the dream a reality? Then that wouldn't be dwelling on dreams that would be living a dream and in his opinion, he deserved a bit of happiness.

Deciding at that moment that he needed to get his act together he hopped up off the floor. He gave his parents one last fleeting look of longing before turning out of the room and into the empty corridor with a slight jolt he realised he had been sat there for forty-five minutes and had missed half of transfiguration. He also realised tears were pouring down his face and that he was staring at a tapestry of trolls.

"The room of requirement" Harry murmured then wiping the tears off his face he all but ran to transfiguration.

Knocking on the door to the classroom tentatively he opened it to see Mcgonagall gesturing to a cat with her wand which then turned into a radio. Instantly everyone turned to see him enter.

"Sorry Professor I-"

"Don't worry Mr Potter. Miss Granger, Miss Weasley and Mr Weasley explained "she gave him a soft smile and gestured to the empty seat beside Ginny where his things already were sat. Harry sat down heavily and as Professor Mcgonagall continued her demonstration he felt Ginny turn to him. She tilted his head into her hands and he looked into her deep brown eyes. She moved one of her hands to his cheeks and swiped away the tear tracks that were still stubbornly stuck to his face. Once she was satisfied she swept his hair out of his eyes and then leant forward and kissed his cheek before letting her hands drift down to her sides and her left took his right hand softly.

Eventually, the lesson ended and Ron, Hermione, Ginny and himself wandered out of the classroom and began to meander towards the common room. He noticed they were close to the room of requirement and caught hold of Ginny's shoulder. Ginny caught on and said to the others

"Hey guys we'll catch up with you in a second" Hermione and Ron looked between them nervously then Ron said

"Alright see you in a bit guys"

Harry led them in front of the door and a door materialised in front of them. Harry pulled Ginny through the door and they were back inside the old classroom with a single mirror. Ginny looked at him in confusion but opened her mouth in understanding as she gazed into it.

"Harry, Is this?"

"Yep. I was just blindly looking for a classroom to hide in and here it was" She paused for a second and then asked quietly

"What do you see?"

"I see uh my parents and ah Sirius and Remus and Tonks and Fred but I-I also see something else"

"What?"

"You, Us. I'm holding Teddy and I-I think you're holding a baby." Ginny's eyes went wide

"Our baby" All Harry could see was a bright red blush on her face.

"Which ah leads me onto something else. Ginny, I was thinking earlier about how I need to start getting my stuff for when I start teaching and I was wondering if I needed to tell the elves to set an extra plate at the table" Harry could feel his cheeks burning as he said it and he swore he was glowing when she replied

"Harry, are you asking me to move in with you?" The way Ginny said it made him panic. Badly.

"Y-Yes but we don't have to live at Hogwarts. I mean we could get a flat in Hogsmeade over one of the shops or get a small house or we could leave it a bit. I know you'll be busy with practice and you might end up living in Holy-" Before he could ramble anymore she silenced him with a searing kiss they remained connected for a few seconds then Ginny separated

"First of all Potter stop rambling before I cast langlock on you. Secondly, I'd love to live with you. I'd rather us not live at Hogwarts forever but maybe we could find a little cottage nearby? With a large garden to play quidditch in?"

Harry seemed to contemplate this then pulled her back into a kiss. Eventually, they separated again and Harry turned back to the mirror

"What do you see Gin?" However Ginny Was already heading towards the door she turned around and winked

"Maybe one day Potter"

Another one! Thanks for some of your reviews it really does motivate me.
