They were all in the way…
Noll stood in the doorway of his personal office, observing Mai and the others chat about some nonsensical topic. Ofcourse, Noll was glad Mai was distracted, but he was well aware the others were keeping a close watch on her, and by extension, him.
Then there was Lin… constantly breathing down his neck.
Such an annoyance.
"Naru!"
Noll raised a brow when Mai shouted for him.
"Come sit down! We're getting ready to play a game!"
He sighed, "This isn't a place for games, Mai. It's a place of work."
"Oh, come on," Monk chuckled, "no need to be so serious all the time, Naru-bou! Come on and join us!"
"No," replied Noll.
"Awww… Please Naru?! For me?" Mai batted her eyes and him and stuck out her lip.
Of all things… Really, the result better have been worth it…
"Fine."
As Noll shifted from his place in the doorway, Ayako snickered, "Got him wrapped around your finger, huh, Mai?"
Mai blushed.
