The Dirty Robber Storage Room
Nina, Constance and Hope were all fussing over Maura when Frankie knocked on the door.
"Who is it," all four ladies called out at once?
"It's Frankie. I have something for Maura, from Jane."
Nina, who knew nothing about the surprise, opened the door to let him in.
Frankie was wearing a new suit and Nina thought he looked fine.
Frankie kissed Nina and the presented the large box to Maura.
"Frankie, what is this?"
Frankie smiled. "Open it. It's from Jane and she said there is a note inside." He kissed her on the cheek and said good-bye.
Maura, who was in her silk robe, sat the box down and opened to reveal an empire waist ivory dress, accented with tiny pear beads.
"Oh my! It's beautiful!"
Both Constance and Hope had tears in their eyes.
Nina said, "Open the card Maura."
Maura carefully opened the card and began to cry as she read what it said.
Maura,
I want you to know I listen to you. Always.
I know you said it didn't matter about the dress
you were going to wear today, but It matters to
me. You matter to me.
Love,
Jane
Maura was openly crying now and both Hope and Constance were trying to wipe her tears away. Nina was busy getting the dress all the way out and trying to get Maura started putting it on.

Frankie knocked on the door of the bathroom and waited for it to open.
"That you Frankie?"
"Yeah Ma. I got something for Jane, from Maura."
Jane pushed her mother out of the way and held her hand out to her brother.
"Is it a Dear John letter? Is she backing out?"
Frankie chuckled. "No Jane. You aren't the only one with a surprise today."
He handed her a perfectly wrapped box and watched as she opened it to reveal three red, custom Red Sox jersey's.
She gently pulled out the biggest one and gingerly fingered the Swarovski crystals. She turned it to look at the back and smiled at the R&I and the number 43.
She picked up the card and read it.
Jane,
We are family. A family of three.
I am number one, you are number 43 and
Avery is number 33.
I have faith you will figure the numbers
out. Just as I have faith in us, our love,
our family.
Love,
Maura
PS- Wear this at the alter.
Jane wiped her eyes and smiled as Korsak made his way into the women's bathroom.
"Vince, did you take care of it?"
"In a manner of speaking." As Jane began to question him, he stopped her. "He brought a plus one."
"What?"
"Jane, it's ok. I got this." He looked her up and down. "You look beautiful."
Before she could answer, Dominick popped his head in the door.
"Wow Janie! You look great!"
Jane looked her cousin over and replied, "So do you. Can't remember the last time I saw you in regular clothes."
"It's a nice change. Are you ready? I've seen Maura already."
Jane nodded. Angela left to go get Avery.
"I am so proud of you Janie. I love you and Maura and Avery." She kissed her daughter on the cheek. "Be happy."
Jane grabbed her mother and hugged her. "Thanks, Ma."
Jane took a deep breath, put the jersey on and made her way to where she was meeting Maura, as they had decided to walk down the aisle together.
Jane stopped short as she saw her surprise for Maura and his plus one.
"What the hell, Korsak?"
