RAW is WAR: 22/2/1999

RAW is WAR was live at the Jefferson Civic Center in Birmingham, Alabama. The segment involving the Rock, Vince McMahon, and Paul Wight had passed after it was announced the Rock will defend his WWF Championship against Paul Wight in tonight's Main Event, and the upcoming match was the Bladewolf vs Stone Cold Steve Austin first the first time since their I Quit match on the RAW after Judgement Day 1998.

OOOOOOWHOOOOOO!

Jim Johnston's Dark Side plays as Fire explodes on the stage and the lights change to dark red and dark blue as the Bladewolf walks out to a loud pop from the fans, with his World Tag Team Championship around his waist.

"The following contest is scheduled for one-fall. Introducing first, from Death Valley, weighing 310 lbs, he is one half of the WWF World Tag Team Champions...THE BLADEWOLF!" Tony Chimel announced.

The Demon Wolf makes his walk towards the ring, climbs onto the ring apron and enters the ring over the top rope where the lights go back to normal as he takes off his trench coat.

"Tonight we see the Bladewolf vs Stone Cold Steve Austin for the first time since their I Quit match last October." Michael Cole said. "What do you think, King? You think Vince hopes Bladewolf will tear Austin apart before WrestleMania so the Rock can get the easy win?"

"How can you say that Cole?" Jerry scolds him. "The Corporation is imploding from the inside and all you can say is that?!"

The sound of shattered glass begins and the fans go nuts once more as Stone Cold's theme plays and out comes the Texas Rattlesnake, heading down towards the ring as Bladewolf watches him coldly.

"And his opponent, from Victoria, Texas, weighing 252 lbs...STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN!" Tony Chimel announces.

Austin rolls into the ring and begins his pose on the four turnbuckles, the Bladewolf never once took his eyes off the man who he has had so much history with last year, going all the way back to WrestleMania 14.

"These two men have had a few battles this past year." Cole said. "They battled at WrestleMania which involved Shawn Michaels, they battled a month later at Unforgiven to win the WWF Championship and Bladewolf has not gotten his rematch for that title ever since. They battled each other in a Fatal 4-Way match for the title featuring Kane and the Undertaker, which Austin lost after all three brothers pinned him at the same time. They had an I Quit match with each other, and tonight they face off again and add this match to the list."

Austin's theme dies down as Austin stares down Bladewolf, taking off his vest. The two men stare each other down as the referee calls for the bell.

'Ding! Ding! Ding!'

Bladewolf and Austin circle one another before they lock up and have a test of strength, trying to overpower the other. Bladewolf wins as he backs Austin up into the corner and delivers right hooks into the stomach of Austin before headbutting Austin, sending him to a knee. Austin and Bladewolf lock up once more and Bladewolf executes a takedown, driving his knees into Austin's ribs until Austin headbutts him and rolls them over where Austin begins unloading with hammering right hands.

Austin gets to his feet and begins stomping away on Bladewolf, then drops a knee onto Bladewolf's chest. Austin grabs Bladeowlf's feet but Bladewolf pushes Austin into the corner with his feet and gets to his feet, running up and delivering a hard right hand to Austin's right cheek and then delivers a fury of lefts and rights to Austin's midsection before hitting a uppercut then backs up before running and hits a turnbuckle clothesline, lifts Austin up and hits a sideslam.

"What a sideslam!" Cole exclaims.

"Right." Jerry nods. "Go on Bladewolf, tear him apart!"

"Now you are cheering this on." Cole shakes his head.

"Bladewolf is doing what's right and that's doing Mr. McMahon's bidding." Jerry said.

"Doing the...King, Bladewolf does not give a damn about Vince's problems with Austin." Cole says firmly. "All he cares about is hurting whoever is standing across from him in that ring."

"You don't know that!" Jerry disagrees.

Bladewolf locks in a headlock on Austin, trying to wear him down but Austin fights back until both men were on their feet. Austin rebounds off the ropes and...NAILS THE LOU THEZ PREZ!

"Lou Thez!" Cole exclaims over the cheers.

Austin gets to his feet, pulls Bladewolf to his and Irish whips him into the ropes, going for a boot in the gut and goes for the Stunner but Bladeowlf shoves Austin forward and nails Austin with a big boot. Bladewolf flips his long hair out his face before he rebounds off the ropes and nails a leg drop across Austin's throat. Bladewolf gets to his feet and grabs Austin who suddenly tackles him into the corner and unloads with a fury of right hands then stomps on Bladewolf's chest before being knocked back witha right hand by Bladewolf.

Austin throws a right, and Bladewolf retaliates by throwing a right of his own. The two go into a slug fest, trading back and fourth right hooks with one another with one half of the fans behind Austin, the other half behind Bladewolf.

"These fans are certainly divided here tonight." Cole notes.

'Let's go Austin! Let's go Bladewolf! Let's go Austin! Let's go Bladewolf!' The divided crowd chanted.

Austin headbutts Bladewolf, rebounds off the ropes and knocks the 7ft man down with a clothesline, rebounds off the ropes and nails a elbow drop on the masked head of Bladewolf.

"Austin now in control here." Jerry says.

Bladewolf sits up and gets to his feet as Austin waits. Bladewolf turns around into a boot to the gut...THEN A STONE COLD STUNNER!

"Stunner!" Cole and Jerry shout.

Austin hooks the legs! ONE! TWO! THREE! AUSTIN WINS!

'Ding! Ding! Ding!'

Austin's theme plays to a pop from the fans. "Here is your winner...STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN!" Austin celebrates his win while Bladewolf rolls out the ring and heads up the ramp as the loser.

And that's it for this chapter, figured there should be a Bladewolf vs Stone Cold match instead of waiting for a feud or PPV fight between them and also give Bladewolf a loss because he doesn't have that many. He only has a small few losses.
