"Another one." She slided the glass to the bartender. It was her third glass of whiskey.

"Alright, this is the last I'm giving you tonight."

"Why? I pay, don't I?"

"I don't want a problem like the last time."

"Then don't let perverts in?" She raised a brow.

Bartender gave her a look and slided the full glass back. She drank that also.

"Stop drinking and get ready for tomorrow. There will be a new guy fighting."

"No need. I was born ready."

It's been awhile she's back to illegal fightings since she didn't have any responsibilities lately. Claudio was running the searchings for him. She was barely ever going to Zaibatsu lately. She moved back to her house. She was back at illegal fightings and also killing contracts. Not because she needs money. Because she needs occupation. She had to keep her mind from thinking.

"I heard that this guy is very good."

She shrugged. "I am better."

"Yeah, come drunk again and get kicked in the ass."

She chuckled. She didn't think so at all. She could manage any rookie, that was for sure.

She turned back home after getting enough drunk. She didn't spend an evening without drinking. There was nothing else to do.

She removed her clothes and filled the bathtub. She got in relaxed with the warm water.

How much time has passed since then? It felt like a century to her now. It was further point in time now. Just like her hopes for finding him.

Ugh, I am drinking to keep myself from thinking. Why do I keep thinking now?

She cursed the bartender who didn't have her the last glass. She could have been thoughtless now.

After a time felt like a few seconds she woke up to the bright morning. She slept in the bathtub which has cold water in it now. She cursed and left it. Dried herself. Eat a few things. Checked her mails of there was a new contract offered to her. There was none. Since she was more famous now, only very good prices would get her do the job. So the offers was a lot less, not surprisingly.

In the night, she turned back the place where she was gonna fight. Most of people were betting on her. Since she was the most successful one out of them all.

"I heard that the new guy was in Tekken Tournaments. I wonder if they fought before." Nina heard the man say this. From tournaments? Who could he be? Someone she knew? Could he be him-

Ugh, don't be ridiculous, do you think they don't know who he is.

She was waiting for her opponent in the fight ring. A figure appeared and started to come closer. There were a few people cheering for him. She couldn't see his face so she had no idea about who he is. Anyway, all she wanted was to fight and then go have some drinks.

The fighter came up to the ring and removed his hoodie. Her eyes opened in shock. A lot louder cheering has been heard for the World's Box champion, Steve Fox.

This can't be true, right? I got drunk and now I'm dreaming. This isn't real.

"Nina Williams?" The young guy was smirking. "You again? Interesting you keep coming up everywhere I go."

What did it mean? This was their second face to face interaction.

"Dear lady and gentlemen," the announcer said since Nina was the only woman here. "Start betting for the next fight, Nina vs Steve!"

People made their bets and fighters were ready to fight.

"Fight!"

She started to throw punches. Seeing him here made her angry. She hated him, she hated to be related with him.

Steve was surprised. He didn't expect her to be this aggressive. So he started to defend first. Then he also started to attack. She was a tough opponent. Since he first saw her her name kept popping out of everything. She was big mystery to him. Maybe after this fight he would have a chance to talk with her.

She was out of breath since she wasted most of her energy at the beginning. She started to defend now. She was starting to feel uneasy. Her vision was going blurry from time to time. But she managed to keep it going.

A few minutes later, she did jumping flip to him and throw him away. Then she felt her head was starting to turn. She saw Steve was standing up again. But she couldn't see his next move since she lost her conscious and fell to the ground.

She opened her eyes slowly. Before understanding what was going on she heard a voice.

"You woke up?" It was that Steve Fox guy. She frowned. "What happened?"

"You fainted. I carried you here." He explained. Then he felt he needs to explain more. "Don't get the wrong idea. I initially wanted to talk to you after the fight."

"Why did I faint?"

"I would like to say because I beat you but, you fainted right after you tossed me across the room." He smiled. "But since you lost your consciousness, I won the fight."

She rolled her eyes. "Whatever." She tried to stand up.

"I want to ask you something Nina W-"

"I don't want to answer anything." She interrupted him and started to walk to the exit. She was going to escape any kind of question from him.

Steve stopped her. "Explain your connection to me." He said. She turned back and looked at him. How much did he know? What did he know first of all.

"What are you talking about?" She asked.

"Why does your name keeps appearing in my searchings?"

"What are you searching for?"

"Myself." He said.

"I don't even know you." She lied. This was the last problem of her life that she wanted to think about now.

Steve didn't said anything. He was looking at her like he wanted to say something. Nina turned back to leave again.

"We look so much alike." Steve said before she can leave, which caused Nina to stop once again. "Can we be siblings or something?"

She froze. What's he saying? How can he think that? Only reason he couldn't understand that he is production of her oocytes that she looks at the same age with him.

"What? Are you out of your mind?" She said furiously.

"I don't know, I just connected some dots and-"

"Stop saying nonsense! I don't have any connection to you!" She smashed the door behind her after leaving. If she would stay some more he would have solve all of her secrets she's afraid.

Steve was not convinced at all. She clearly hid something from him, he could tell. But he couldn't tell what was it. She was suspiciously furious. Plus he learnt that she was in the same labs with him which could mean they could be sharing same mother or father.

It was okay, he needed to search more and he could understand by his own.

Nina passed the bar without even ordering a thing in anger. Bartender watched her as she leaves. She was drinking without skipping any day. Tonight something was wrong. Plus, she fainted.

Nina arrived home.

I should have kill that guy when I had the chance. I would fulfill my contract also. I am stupid!

And why did I faint? Why do I keep fainting? Being around devils so long must have messed my mind.

Her doorbell rang. She frowned. It doesn't happen usually. Actually the last time this happened... Yeah, Jin Kazama sent his men for job offer to me.

Then who could this be now, at this hour? Every unusual thing brings her hopes, which she thought she has lost long ago, to the surface. Then she slaps herself inwardly and reminded herself that this is not possible.

She hold her pistol ready behind her and opened the door.

"Lars?"

"Nina." Lars greeted her with a nod.

"What are you doing here?"

"I need to talk to you. About him."Her heart skipped a beat. What was that? Did they find him? He isn't alive?

"Tell me." She said.

"Can I enter?"

"Yeah, sure." She opened the door to let him in.

"I heard you don't go to Zaibatsu anymore."

"Yeah, I don't have anything to do there. Sometimes I go to check if everything is alright though."

"You used to live there, right?"

"Yes, then we had very busy job. Now it's just running a company. I don't need to be there every second."

"You stopped looking for him?"

"No, research teams still working."

"But you, stopped."

Nina sighed. "I didn't. I just gave a break. I can't get this out of my mind. I needed distractions before I lose my mind."

"And you hired a circus freak to do the job." He referred to Claudio.

She chuckled "I am open to any help."

"Nina," He sighed. "I think Jin is still in Egypt. Your guys keep searching in the Far East."

"We searched Egypt before. There was no trace." She said. "And why do you care? Why are you searching for him? Didn't you betray him?" She raised a brow.

"My goals are beyond him. Actually I realized we share the same goals with him. The devil gene needs to be gone. Because, not much has changed since he destroyed that thing in Egypt."

"And you will work with him after you find him?"

"We must! Don't you see what's going on in the World? It's half you and Jin's creation. We need to do something about it. Together."

"Lars, I really don't care about the situation the world is in. I really hope it goes down with all of us..."

He interrupted her "Stop being a nihilist, broken lover. We'll find your boyfriend and then we'll need your help to correct what you guys have done."

Nina rolled her eyes. "I really admire your optimism. I don't think we can save the world let alone find Jin."

Lars sighed. "I'll go to Egypt."

"Goodbye." She said carelessly.

"I need Alisa."

Nina chuckled. "Okay, I'll give you your girlfriend."

Lars left. Nina was thinking if he really can find him.

No, stop hoping, you stupid. Hopes will make you disappointed.

She really didn't want to hope for anything. For months she was hoping and didn't get anything in return. She had to let go. Or she would get hurt.

She checked her mails if any contact offer is there. She saw a new one. She was glad, a job at last. She read it and planned a meeting with them. They sent a reply soon. They didn't want to be in a physical contact. Every information she needed was going to be sent her by a hidden link.

She read the information. She needs to kill a guy named Alexander Laurance in a plane which belongs to him. She needs to infiltrate as a worker of him and before flight she needs to get it done.

Easy job she thought.

She got in the plane crew as a hostess. She got her guns ready and also planned her escape. Actually it was not very secure here. It's gonna be easier than she thought.

But the guy was late. Everything and everyone was ready to fly but the guys wasn't there.

A few minutes later, the motors started to run. What was going on? The guy wasn't even here.

"Mr. Laurance is not here, why did they started motors?" She asked another hostess.

"He's here actually. He has started them." She said. Nina frowned. When did he enter and started it? The flight was going to start in any minute and if he's the captain, this was her last chance. She run to the captain cabin and kick the door open.

She was in shock when she saw who are sitting here.

Lars Alexandersson and Alisa?

"Hold on to something or you gonna fall." Lars said. Then the plane started to go. As it goes faster, Alisa pulled her to the chair and put her belt on very quickly without even she can resist.

"What is going on?"

"Meet Alexander Laurance." Lars said smirking. The flight has started even before she could understand what's going on. Alisa wasn't sitting since she could balance herself.

"It was you?"

"You got slower Nina Williams, I would like to talk to your boss since you have become very lazy lately."

"What the fuck Alexandersson?"

"We're going to Egypt."

She pulled her gun and aimed at him. "Tell me a reason to not blow your head up right now."

"Uh, I am flying this machine? You would kill us all..."

"Not convinced." She pulled the trigger.

"Nina, what was the last time you checked the signals from him?"

"Everyday it's been tracked."

"I mean with this?" He showed her the device Jin left Nina before leaving to track him. Nina took it home but she stopped tracking long time ago.

"How did you get it?" Yesterday he must have stole it when he stopped by.

"You got slower like I said." He smirked. "Anyway, Alisa, can you track?" He handed the device to Alisa and she started to track it.

A few minutes later a signal started to be heard. Nina's heartbeats started to go faster.

"See?"

Is it really possible?Alisa sent the coordinates to the plane's systems. Nina was watching them still in shock.

"Let's find this bastard." Lars looked ahead.
