"Ainz, good buddy, you're here for his birthday too?"

"Ah yes, Tanya sent a message to me via dragon mail, telling me that Naruto's surprise party was today." Ainz stated as he showed the letter he got from Tanya, a simple but well written letter. "I even brought him a new watering can." Ainz had his gift all ready to go, since he knew that Naruto liked to garden.

It WAS Naruto's joke that an undead selling living plants was ironic and hilarious after all, and thus his flower shop had been born.

"I finally finished... couldn't do a quilt or blanket, but I made a homemade pillow with my own feathers." Meidri talked about her gift to Crim. The party was set up and everything was ready, and Naruto would be arriving in a couple of hours. Everything was going great, and they had managed to let everyone who knew Naruto personally know about the party.

At the moment, everyone was relaxing and just talking.

"Kazuma, you're looking exhausted."

"You wouldn't believe it... but Aqua, Darkness, and Megumin are in this world... and I got roped into their shit all over again. Thankfully, Aqua and Darkness are out of my hair... but Megumin keeps maliciously giving me wrong food orders." Kazuma was talking with Subaru.

Subaru nodded.

"I know, I've been looking for Emilia, Rem, and Ram since Naruto told me about them. If your party is here, then maybe my friends are in this world as well. Kind of weird that so many otherworlders are starting to show up." Subaru had high hopes that he could find the girl he loved in this world, a world without all of the pressures of his older world. With Naruto in this world, he didn't even have to worry about playing the part of hero.

He had only died 3 times in this world, twice to Tanya shooting him in the head at his request, and once when he slipped down the stairs and broke his own neck. He had yet to get killed by an enemy, and he was making some money as an adventurer.

"That is because Naruto is a magnet, his power is so vast, he attracts others to him... literally. The Uzumaki in his name is very apt. Like a whirlpool, he is drawing people from other worlds here." Death Abyss stated as she stayed crouched down at all times. She was a supreme species for a reason, and even she couldn't get a good read on Naruto's chakra.

The only thing she could measure was the fact that it was immeasurable by nature.

"Ah, so I should stick around town more then, might raise my chances of finding the girls... or should I follow Naruto on quests? By the way, Lady Death Abyss, what did you get Naruto for his birthday? I got him a coloring book filled with fun pictures." Subaru stated as he showed off his gift.

...

"A colo-"

"For adults, adults use them too to have some relaxing fun. I figured with how much he does for all of us, he could do with something super relaxing to take the edge off." Subaru had a bright and cheerful grin on his face. "... It's ninja themed..." Subaru got a thumbs up from Kazuma.

Death Abyss just grinned.

"I got him a cloak, a nice cloak. I know that his father wore a cloak with the words 4th Hokage on it, and Naruto was being trained to be the 7th Hokage... so I made him a very nice cloak with that written on the back." Death Abyss stated as she held up the cloak on one of her fingers. "I made it myself, I spend weeks and weeks on this." Death Abyss showed off the black cloak with red letters on the back, and orange flame designs on the bottom.

"That is super edgy looking, but Naruto will love it." Piltia added in.

"What did you get him?"

"I already gave him his gift this morning, I snuck into his bedroom and woke him up with a very nice blowjob." Piltia crossed her arms with a grin on her face. Showing that she understood the best gift that she could have given him. "... I guess also a 20% discount on his next visit." Piltia added in with a wave of her hand, as if that was an afterthought.

Tanya was speaking with Stunk.

"This is actually a well thought out gift." Tanya looked at Stunk's perverted gift, but she could tell that a lot of thought was put into it.

Stunk was also looking over her gift.

"Yours seems... very practical."

"It's a unique coffee blend, very nice. Naruto doesn't drink a lot of coffee, but I noticed some mornings he wakes up groggy and gets a cup with a LOT of milk and honey in it." Tanya got Naruto the practical gift that could help him for awhile in his daily life.

"Nice."

'Not to mention, since Naruto is a Dark Hero, a War Hero, and he is greatly respected by a lot of high class people due to his absurd amount of completed quests, getting closer and closer to him can help me get close to those connections as well.' Tanya gave a practical gift for another reason. She wouldn't have given a gift at all were it not for the fact that this was the perfect chance for her to get even closer to Naruto. Not that she had to really try that hard, Naruto bonded pretty well with everyone.

Not to mention they had a LOT in common, an insane amount of stuff in common being both child soldiers in their militaries, among other more personal things.

"Damn Ivy, this is a HELL of a nice cake." Zel looked at the cake that Ivy had baked. She spent all morning make the cake, and decorated it. "This is... orange vanilla icing, and decorated with oranges shaped like shuriken. Naruto's favorite color-"

"-is red isn't it?" Crim asked with a tilted head.

Ivy and Zel looked at Crim in shock.

"Naruto told me that he wished he had red hair, he would have loved to be born with straight, red hair like his mother." Crim thought that meant that his favorite color was red. Ivy sighed in relief that Crim was just talking about hair, and that her cake wasn't the wrong color.

"It's not just about the cake, it's about what is inside of the cake. I tried to put all my feelings in this cake, to thank Naruto for all he does for everyone. Not just me." Ivy looked at all of the people in the room.

Even when Naruto was depressed, he still went out of his way to help everyone around him, and make the lives of others better. He improved the quality of others lives just by being himself. At first, she was addicted to his scent and his aura, the way he felt like one with nature, but now she had gotten to know the man himself.

Stunk walked over and clapped Crim on the back.

"So what did you get him?" Stunk asked Crim as he lit a cigarette.

"... I didn't have the money to really get him anyway... so..." Crim started to turn bright red in the face. "... I'm also not skilled enough to..." Crim felt really bad that he couldn't get anything for Naruto, when Naruto had tried to help him more than anyone else so far.

Ainz walked over.

"Naruto won't be angry." A new voice stated as Ainz got to Crim.

A beautiful man with starry blue eyes, messy hair, and very pale skin. He wore white robes , and he had a somber look on his face. He had just joined the party of his own accord, and it seemed that he knew Naruto. His eyes showed great sadness and regret, as if just mentioning Naruto hurt him on a deeply emotional level.

"Oh, are you a..." Ainz stopped.

This dude was a fucking monster, a powerhouse on a level that Ainz could feel it even with this man's power being held back.

He felt divine like Naruto.

"... I'm not Naruto's friend, but I know him. He spared my life awhile ago, when he could have killed me. I heard rumors of this birthday gift, and I wanted to give him a gift to make up for everything that I've gone." The man stated as he showed a bag that was tightly closed off. He closed his eyes as if that gave away his gift.

-Several Hours Later-

"Okay, so since you all need real names to apply... and somehow NONE of you have them... Erufuda..." Naruto pointed at the High Elf Archer. She thought it over for a second, before she nodded her head in acceptance of that name. "... Darma..." Naruto pointed to Dwarf Shaman, who raised a hand and wiggled it. Accepting the name, but otherwise not being too picky about it. "... Hanzo... and... why don't you have a name?" Naruto asked the Priestess.

"In our world, the gods decree that names are earned, not given. So, we are called by our titles that we earn for ourselves, and we can find a name for ourselves once we have done great deeds." Priestess stated with a humble tone.

Naruto deadpanned.

"So, your name can be... uh... Onna I guess?" Naruto stated, since it was weird for him to give a name to a human girl.

"Goblin Slayer." Goblin Slayer stated his name.

"... I guess that works, anyway. You guys have a pretty big debt to pay off to the goblins, so you better work hard to make your monthly quotas. You're lucky that I was able to smooth things over." Naruto opened the doors to the pub.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!"

"... Oh right, it's my birthday." Naruto smiled a little as he looked at all of the important people in his life gathered in the pub to greet him. Naruto looked at everyone, his eyes scanning the room for a second.

All of the smiling faces.

...

"Toneri Otsutsuki."

The room went cold when Naruto's eyes lost all enjoyment when he made saw Toneri's face gazing in his direction. The room and everyone in it froze solid when they felt a cold chill go down their spines, when Toneri got up and walked forward.

"Naruto Uzumaki... it's been awhile."

"You threatened to destroy my planet, end all of shinobi life, and are the reason I'm in this world, and the love of my life is dead..."

Suddenly, hearing Naruto say that, people could hear the rage hidden underneath his words.

Naruto was barely keeping himself together.

"... Yes, it's all my fault... and I wish to correct my mistakes, and make ammends with this gift. A gift that you must desperately need..." Toneri walked forward until he was able to get right in front of Naruto. He opened the bag that he was holding, and he reached inside of it. "... It took me several months to heal from our moon exploding, I'm not quite as durable as you, and I heal much more slowly. But thankfully, I too survived the explosion that sent us here." Toneri opened his eyes and made eye contact with Naruto.

He made eye contact with Naruto.

"... Whose eyes are those..."

"Naruto Uzumaki... this is my gift to you..." Toneri pulled a broken skull from the bag. His eyes were saddened as he looked down at the skull.

"... That..."

"It's what is left of her head... happy birthday." Toneri stated as he dropped the broken skull on the ground right in front of Naruto. "... Hinata would have wanted you to have this." Toneri added just to make sure.

Naruto was frozen where he stood.

Everyone in the room felt a primal fear that they had never known before as they dropped to their knees. Not even Tanya or Ainz could withstand the pure pressure, the killing intent alone was forcing them to imagine the easiest way out of this situation would be to take their own lives.

Naruto's brain shut down as he tried to process what was on the ground in front of him.

'... I've heard... with this, you can find closure... and I can be punished for my sins. I know, I've been spying on you. I'll fight you... and just like before, you will beat me. You're hurt me, rip me to shreds, and make my death as painful as you can. This is the best gift that I can give to you and her... the chance to start all over again.' Toneri sad smile couldn't be mistaken, but he was sure that once Naruto's brain rebooted, raw anger would take over any moment now.

Just for good measure, be put his foot on the broken bones that was Hinata's skull, and he shattered it under his foot.

Naruto sighed.

"... Just go away Toneri..."

The killing intent vanished from the room.

"Wh-what?"

Naruto joined his new friends.

"... Hinata loved me, and she wouldn't want me to suffer anymore. I'm doing my best to move on... so just go away. Please, bury Hinata's remains in a nice place, let her rest in peace." Naruto wrapped an arm around Stunk, and he reached out and grabbed the top of Ivy's head and rubbed it. He had a forced smile on his face.

"But... you have to punish me, my sins... surely you need closure!"

"Hinata died already, and you regret it... you truly regret what you've done. So just... go away while I'm still able to think clearly." Naruto's grip on Ivy and Stunk tightened, but he made sure not to hurt either of them.

If he didn't grab a hold of them, then he might just lose himself.

"Please, just kill me! Take your rage out on me, and punish me for my sins! I deserve to be hated by you-"

"I hate you, I truly do hate you... every part of me hates you so much, that I want to rip you to shreds with my bare hands. I want to turn you into nothingness... but doing that will not bring her back. I want to move on, and revenge is not the solution. Punish yourself... don't you see these people worked super hard to make this a special birthday." Naruto grinned across the room at everyone.

"No... who cares about this birthday party! It's my fault your lover is dead, punish me! Kill me! Unleash your hatred on me! I..." Toneri stopped when he saw everyone smiling at Naruto, everyone in the room. "... You've moved on..."

"Hinata would have wanted me to move on, because she loved me with all of her heart. Hinata will always be in my heart, and I'll never forget her, and I'll always love her. That is why I'm going to do my very best to become happy, and live my new life with my new loved ones." Naruto stated as he gave Toneri a look that had a strong emotion to it.

Absolute pity.

"But I shattered-" Toneri started to laugh a self-hating laugh. "... You realized it was a fake skull." Toneri hated the fact that he brought a fake skull. He wished he could have brought a real skull, but he could never find it.

The eyes in Toneri's head vanished as the Genjutsu over his face disappeared.

He never had Hinata's head or her eyes, he was just hoping to use an illusion to trick Naruto into thinking that he had them and stole them from her. Toneri turned around and started to walk out of the room, and he glanced back at Naruto with his eye holes closed.

"... I think I almost shit my pants." Stunk released the breath he was holding.

There was a smell coming from the room.

Somebody DID shit themselves.

Kazuma silently left the room to go change his pants and came back with fresh ones on.

"Oh yeah, you two are twins." Ainz laughed at Tanya as the tension in the room started to go back to normal. "He's even scarier than you are when he is angry." Ainz stated.

Tanya crossed her arms.

"Oh really? Well, Bone Guru, don't think I didn't hear those bones rattling."

"Naruto is an unbalanced character, and honestly... he was already terrifying. Seeing him angry, and then control himself... actually makes me feel better. In the end, he's a good guy, and I don't need to worry about him." Ainz admitted that he was a little shaken, but overall he was getting back into the mood of the party.

The birthday party went off without a hitch.

Being surrounded by my new friends and loved ones, I knew Toneri was still alive so I wasn't too surprised to see him, I did sense his chakra in this world still. I had to take a point off for him trying to trick me into killing him, but everyone made me feel so loved by the end of the party.
This was my first birthday party, and it will always be one to remember!
