Corvus felt unsure of what to say to Rias. Was there a correct thing to say to her? He didn't feel like there was.

"I don't regret everything I helped you with." Corvus said which caused Rias to turn to him. "I mean fighting Riser for you, the Fallen Angel who almost killed me. You're a big deal, but yet you fight. I like that, I don't see a lot of leaders fight." Corvus said as Rias hummed.

"You said you like being around me." Rias said as they walked.

"I do." Corvus said while smiling. "I feel calm, I feel happy… And when that Fallen Angel was going to kill you? I felt something snap. I know your mad I keep throwing myself into danger. I just cant help it, he was going to kill you." Corvus said as Rias crossed her arms under her chest.

"That almost killed you." Rias said which got a nod.

"Yeah, but I cared more about protecting you." Corvus said while scratching at the back of his head. "I like hanging out with you. Your nice, but you stop me from being too stupid. You aren't afraid to fight even if your important, and you've kept helping me even when I annoy you. I don't want to leave, even if I have to." Corvus said and hummed, his gaze at the ground.

"I'm… Glad to hear that." Rias said while looking around. "Your always welcome here." Rias said which got a smile from Corvus.

She smiled back. Rias knew Corvus didn't know anything about romance. The church saw him as a tool, probably discarding his Fallen Angel heritage as a mistake or some damned folly.

But she enjoyed his kindness… Even she didn't understand love too well. Rias had never romantically loved someone and Riser's arranged marriage didn't help.

"So, where do you want to go?" Corvus asked and looked at Rias. "I'll follow you. My ribs are still healing so you don't have to worry about me doing something stupid." Corvus said while Rias shook her head with a smile.

"You know I'm going to heal you when I get back, right?" Rias asked as they walked through town.

"Can I still walk around without you ready to hurt me if I don't rest?" Corvus asked while he got a roll of the eyes from Rias.

This was the weirdest date she had ever had… But in her case? That just made things more enjoyable when it came down to it.

(With Xenovia)

Xenovia frowned and looked about the various demons around her. None of them spoke on the location of their wicked master, something that drove her up a wall to begin with.

"Do none of you wish to tell me where the witch is?" Xenovia asked which got Koneko to shrug.

She said nothing. She could have told her to drop dead, that she was annoying… But that required effort and Koneko was quite content to simply relax and take care of the club.

"Even Sol doesn't want to speak." Xenovia said which went unanswered by the others.

Sol rolled his eyes. If he said anything? Then Xenovia would go start another fight with Rias. He knew the woman cared about Corvus…. But unlike Rias? She only seemed to consider him a weapon that Rias had 'corrupted'.

'The girl scares me if she actually managed to find Corvus? I cant begin to question what would happen by then.' Sol thought to himself as he rubbed at his temples.

"All of you have bedeviled the Church's most holy warrior." Xenovia said which was greeted with silence. "And now he threatens to turn on us for the Gremory girl." Xenovia said which got a response from Kiba.

"Corvus can make his choice whether he wants to fight for the church or not." Kiba said while glaring at Xenovia. "Why do you act like your in charge of what Corvus is? He's chosen to fight for Rias, she wouldn't brainwash him." Kiba added which caused Xenovia to back down.

She knew very well she wouldn't win a battle with Gremory' s group. Nor would she win a battle with Corvus if he decided to battle her.

She quieted down and went to go and look for Corvus, eager to escape the various demons around her.

(With Corvus and Rias)

"I didn't think the peace would be… Nice." Corvus said, walking hand in hand with Rias.

He didn't understand why the girl was blushing at the moment, but it made him do the same. Things were far quieter than they had been before.

"You like the quiet?" Rias asked as Corvus hummed.

"It's… Interesting." Corvus could only mutter as he walked with her. "But I knew for a fact that it doesn't last. Peace doesn't last, you only get to experience the slight reprieves it brings. It's something I'm starting to grow… Tired of." Corvus said which got a chuckle from Sol.

"And yet you're not constantly looking around and worrying." Rias said with a giggle as Corvus shrugged.

"Your not in danger of being turned into mulch." Corvus and shook his head back and forth. "They could have killed you soon enough… And if they did? I don't know what I would have done." Corvus said while shaking his head back and forth at the moment.

He was scared, but he didn't know why. He wanted to know it so much. The burden was enough to shake him to pieces.

"DEMON!" Xenovia yelled as Rias and Corvus turned to see the woman, sword drawn. "You've kidnapped him!" Xenovia hissed as Corvus held onto Rias.

"Damn it, not now…" Sol muttered as Corvus went to step forward.

"Step away from the succubus, Corvus." Xenovia said as energy pulsed in Corvus's eyes.

"Xeo, back down." Corvus said as fangs started to pop in. "NOW. I'm not letting you hurt Rias. You've been at her throat from the moment you've gotten here." Corvus stated as Xenovia looked at Rias.

Rias could see the anger at her being leveled. Corvus stood between her and him as he contemplated fighting her. She was jealous, but Corvus didn't know that… All he saw was someone threating a person he cared about.

"Do you SERIOUSLY intend to battle me to protect her!?" Xenovia screeched to which Corvus held up his hands.

"YOU'VE WANTED TO KILL HER SINCE YOU'VE GOTTEN HERE!" Corvus hissed at her. "YOUR NOT GOING TO KILL RIAS, XEO. I'll DUEL YOU RIGHT NOW IF I HAVE TO. I'M NOT BEING MIND CONTROLLED, ENOUGH OF THIS." Corvus roared, more like a dragon then an angel.

He could only shake his head once more.

Phew. Another chapter done! I want to point out that next chapter will be 1500 words. It will also show another confrontation and such. Next chapter will be in 2-10 months and will be 1500 words at the moment. Until then, Lighting Wolf out!
