CandyLuv99; Uru is paying with her grief and regret. And Scar has definitely went off the deep end.
I admit, I had tears in my eyes while writing Uru and Nefertiti's part. Here's chapter thirty-six, enjoy!
Jata... Nadir stared up at the lion he grew up to believe is his father, momentarily not comprehending what he had just said.
Alvaro's sudden actions caused the dark cream lion to pause and look at the dark brown lion. Alvaro closed his eyes and listened to the wind before snapping his eyes open and dashing off but not before he yelled over his shoulder,
"Stay here!"
Nadir wasn't going to listen. If the pride was in trouble than he was going to help. The dark cream lion ran after Alvaro before he ran up a hill and scanned below. He sighed in relief when he saw Alvaro, Kuona and black pelted, black mane lion, Keres with Artem and Jua. Along with Artem's mother, Jacqueline.
But Nadir's relief died when he saw it was only those six.
"Jata!" Kuona yelled. There was relief as well as worry in his blue eyes. "I'm glad you're alright."
Nadir walked over with confusion in his green eyes. "What's going on? Where's everyone else?"
Alvaro lowered his head. "There's no time to explain. The Northwind pride and the Bright kingdom attacked. We lost King-Father Kazakh and King Narvi. Nox and Akuji are holding off the forces with the remainder of the pride." he sighed deeply. "It's not many left. So I need you, Kuona and Keres to take them to the Pridelands."
Nadir's eyes widened as tears formed. "No!" he shook his head. "I won't leave you!"
Alvaro turned to the lion he raised as his son and embraced him. "I won't lose you. I won't lose another child, not to them again."
Nadir was afraid but one thing was for sure, he was confused about what the dark brown lion said before. That he lost a cub before.
Alvaro sighed and was about to say something when multiple roars was heard and they sounded very close. He turned back to the males. "Go now!"
Kuona and Keres nodded before leading the group to the border. While Nadir shook his head, tears falling freely.
"You'll die! And what am I going to do when I get to the Pridelands! My friends still believe I'm Jata. Besides, how do you know we'll be accepted?"
Alvaro now had tears in his eyes. He embraced his son before stepping back. "Tell them when you're ready. As for getting in. Tell the king, Siku zote nitatazama kutoka kwa nyota."
After giving his son a nuzzle he ran in the direction of the roars. Nadir closed his eyes before running after Kuona, Keres and the survivors.
...
The journey to the Pridelands was quiet but by the afternoon, a few days later they were in the Pridelands. The group had passed the waterhole when a roar echoed through the air. The refugees looked up to see a reddish-brown, black mane lion with green eyes, approaching with large number of hyenas.
"Turn around now. While you still can."
Nadir stepped up cautiously. "We mean no harm. I'm looking for my mother.. Nefertiti."
The reddish-brown lion gasped before growling. "How do you know of that name!"
Jata, Nadir stared at the bit younger lion before dipping his head. " Siku zote nitatazama kutoka kwa nyota."
Scar slowly calmed down as his green eyes widened beyond disbelief. "I will always look from the stars," the king repeated as tears began to fall down the reddish-brown lion's face and drip to the ground. "You and your friends are allowed to stay."
Then just as nothing happened the king growled, before storming off with the hyenas following.

The sounds of painful roars caused the small amount inhabitants that still resides in the Pride Lands to scatter. King Scar sat outside the birthing den, anxious crawling through his system.
"Being still as a tree is not fooling anyone, especially me."
The reddish-brown lion turned his green eyes to the goldish lioness that walked up the stoned slope. "Now you concerned yourself with my life, mother."
Uru looked at her son and sighed, guilt filled her own green eyes. "Ahadi was like this when..."
The king sneered before growling lowly. "Ahadi wasn't my father. Neither were you my mother. The both of you only cared about Mufasa."
Uru sighed as her ears pinned against her head. But before she could say anything her daughter-in- law walked of the den with a bow.
"You may see the cub now, Scar."
The reddish-brown lion sneered at the dark beige lioness before heading in the birthing den.
Sarabi looked up and seen her mother-in- law weeping. The younger lioness wanted to comfort the weeping lioness but an angry roar caused her to move her orange eyes towards the small den.
"That is not my blood! He'll never be my heir!"
The dark beige lioness sat back and watched her brother-in- law leap down the slope.
Once Scar's paws landed on the dying vegetarian, he broke out into a full run. Scar wasn't paying attention to the direction his legs were taking him and soon found himself at the watering hole. The water source was drying and wasn't as grand as it was under his pathetic brother's reign. But to Scar these situations are only temporary and they will return to their glorious state.
Scar's attention was grabbed by the sound joyful laughter. The reddish-brown lion looked from behind some bushes to see two young lionesses playing. One of them he knew all to well...his niece from Mufasa and Sarabi.
But he wasn't looking with distaste, as he continued to look the feeling of desire built up from the pit of his stomach. Zira had given birth to a waste of fur, Nuka will be the stink's name and the way he sees it, Nuka will never be his heir or be considered family.
But he knew with Starra would bare him strong and healthy cubs. The reason he's been watching her, the fact she's his deceased brother's daughter, didn't matter. Like water off a duck's back.
He hid behind the bush and waited for the right moment, when it felt that Starra's companion, which had to be his daughter from Sarafina wasn't leaving anytime soon, he made his kingly presence known.
"Mymymymy...what are two beautiful lionesses doing out here and...all alone."
The two young lionesses stopped playing and looked at the king with fearful eyes. Nala shuddered under the gaze she and her friend was under.
"Ra' ,I'll see you back at Pride Rock."
A goldish lioness nodded and watched her friend leave before turning her orange eyes on the king. "Did you want something, Uncle Scar?"
Scar smiled widely before standing, he continue to keep his gaze on the young lioness as he circled her. "Have you heard about the cub that Zira birthed?"
"Yes. The prince is quite cute. Would make a...um...decent King if something were to happen to Prince Jesús." Starra responded with a forced smile.
Scar sensed the uneasy feelings coming off as waves. He grunted, his green eyes full of regret. "Well, that is not going to happen. Nuka would never be my heir."
Starra frowned as she scrunched up her nose. "Nuka...well that's too bad."
Scar grinned when he seen the fur rise on her nape. "Agreed. But I have found the perfect lioness to bare my backup heir." he stopped circling and licked the younger lioness' cheek.
Starra jumped back with shock written across her face before she seen the look in his eyes is when fear was clearly seen in her young eyes. "Please, Scar...don't do this!"
The reddish-brown lion growled before swiping the goldish lioness off her paws before taking the distraction and pounced on the down female, a heart wrenching cry rang through the Pride Lands, as salty tears fell from a pair of green eyes.
