Hey y'all! Welcome back to 50 Nobleshipping Drabbles! Another cute chapter here! It took a bit to think of a good way to write this chapter, but I love how it came out! Hope you guys think so too!
Disclaimer: Yu-Gi-Oh and all of it's characters belong to Takahashi Kazuki-sama. I only own the prompts and the one-shots.
Prompt #36: Treasure. Rating: K
Critias had few things he considered important enough to call "treasures". The first was Timeaus and Hermos. Timeaus and Hermos were his fellow knights and friends, and the three had known each other for millenia ever since the knight academy in Atlantis. They were like brothers to him and he would gladly give his life for them, knowing they would do the same for him. They stood by each other and had deep respect for each other, Critias knowing that would never go away.
The second thing he considered a "treasure" was his card. The card linked him to both the Duel Monster realm and the real world. It allowed him to exist in the modern realm and anchored him to reality. He knew that it was likely he and his fellow knights would've gone to the afterlife if things had gone differently, but there was also the chance they would've vanished from existence all together. His card kept that from happening and allowed him to manifest a physical form, which he was grateful for.
Recently though, his greatest treasure had to be Zigfried. He still remembered when he met the German by chance. Zigfried and his brother had been hiking through a nearby forest while Critias was trying to keep Timeaus and Hermos from being spotted by humans in the same forest. The run-in had been an accident, but he was grateful and happy it happened. If it hadn't happened, then the two would've never met and they never would've fallen in love.
Critias smiled at the thought. He loved Zigfried and would do anything for the German. It extended to Leon as well. Critias saw the younger male as a younger brother and would do anything to protect him and Zigfried. They were his family now along with Timeaus and Hermos. They were his greatest treasure, and as a dragon nothing was going to tear them from him.
Done! A bit shorter then others, but worth it :3
