Hello, everyone! Welcome to the next chapter! This is another exciting one in the bag for me and other readers!
I also forgot from "Fun Under the Alolan Sun", to Camero551, if you're reading this, this story is not connected to "Fun Under the Alolan Sun". It's just an alternate story showing Ash's chances with Serena were blown unlike in this story that he's in a relatioship with her. I understand if you don't want to continue reading since it's an Ash and Mallow story, that's fine. Not every person can be conformable with other people's ships.
As a reminder for those asking in the reviews, Serena never cut her hair. I changed that part in Chapter 18. It's always going to be long hair Serena in this story.
Anyways, enough of that, let's get on with the chapter! Last time, Serena hurries over to her performance and wins her next Princess key. In other news, Ash got kidnapped by none other than Tammy. She might have got what she wanted being a kiss from Ash, but she also deserved having to be arrested thanks to the help of Ashley.
In this chapter, it's time for Ash to battle for his 7th gym badge. Can he win for victory on this one? Read and find out!
Ashley, Jasmine, Alexis, and Kris will also appear in this chapter to witness Ash's battle. This is also the last chapter to be based on an episode (or two) in the 18th season of the Pokemon series AKA Kalos Quest. Next is the XYZ season and I do have an announcement for that at the end of the chapter, but do so please read the chapter first before reading the announcement.
This is based on the 92nd and 93rd episode of the XY series, "Cloudy Fate, Bright Future!" and "All Eyes on the Future!'

Chapter 35: A Foreshadowing Future!
April 18, 2014 (Anistar Gym) (8:00 AM) (6 Days until Ash's 14th Birthday)
Instead of starting with the heroes, we focus on the main challenge of Anistar City, the gym. The gym is filled with Psychic-Type people who are in a session of meditation and relaxation. Nearby, the leader of the gym arrives. The gym leader's name is a lady named Olympia. With her is a apprentice of her own named Charlene.
Just as Olympia is walking around in her gym, she sees something in her eyes. It appears to be some kind of vision that she's having. Knowing one is happening, she decides to share it with everyone in the gym.
The vision is shown and it is about a emergency happening in Kalos and more importantly, Anistar City itself. There are humans in the vision and Olympia has her head memorized of the people shown in the vision. One of those people happened to be a raven-haired trainer who hails from Pallet Town in the Kanto Region. His name is Ash Ketchum, a boy who wants to become a Pokemon Master and also the boyfriend to a loving girl from Vaniville Town named Serena Yvonne who appears to be also in the vision.
Not only are Ash and Serena along with their friends make an appearance in the vision, but also notably, Professor Sycamore appears as well with the others.
"I hope these people are not causing much trouble to the city." The other apprentice of Olympia appears beside her named Carrie who is shown to be in anger seeing this vision.
Pokemon Center
Holding her hand in front of her Pokemon, Serena shows off her latest Princess key that she won recently. Bonnie also looks at the key in glory. I can't believe that I won 3 princess keys so far and I've been on a hot streak at this!" Serena said with happiness.
"It's because of our relationship, babe. My gym battles are on fire and so are your performances. Our support for each other never would have gotten big all thanks to each other's love." Ash said putting an arm around Serena's neck and uses his other hand rubbing her hair.
Serena blushes once again for the next day of her and Ash's relationship together. Ash couldn't help but feel super happy seeing his girlfriend win another showcase thanks to the charms she has inside of her.
"Awww...Ashy. You're right about that and I love our love together. It just seems like we can achieve our dreams easily since we're a hard working couple together. I really love us being a couple together and I don't want to stop." Serena kisses Ash on the nose while he blushes as well and smiles.
"Hey, we'll be a couple for as long we live. I love you too, Serena and I want to think of you each day." Ash said.
"Awwww...the amour couple strikes again today for heartwarming love." A voice said. Ash and Serena turns over to see the source of the voice and it reveals to be Ashley who is alongside with Kris.
"You two are such adorable together! Just like me and Kris!" Ashley said as she kisses her boyfriend at the cheek.
"Hey, right back at you two!" Ash said as he gives Kris a high five to which he returns.
"So, how did you two meet?" Serena asked.
"Well...it was 2 years ago here in Kalos and..." Ashley starts to explain.
Flashback begins...
August 20, 2012 (Near Shalour City) (12:00 PM)
A boy is walking his way to Shalour City. Recently, this boy started his journey after he turned 13. He wanted to become a trainer as soon he turns into a teenager so he would be more grown maturely to Pokemon. This boy's name is Kris and he wants to be a strong trainer in Kalos. (Description of him is the same as shown from Chapter 35)
Kris has just received and earned 2 badges and he's going to his 3rd one. It's worth noting that when we was battling for his 1st badge, he couldn't help but feel attracted to Viola. In his thoughts, he always think of her as the hottest gym leader in Kalos.
Moving onwards, he practiced with his Pokemon in order to get to the next gym to battle against. Not only that, he also came across some trainers that he was able to beat as well.
As he's walking with his Pokemon, one trainer comes up to battle against him. A girl with red hair who has a fashion style of a hot pink shirt with daisies along with shorts running down her legs. "You!"
Kris turns his head around to the girl. "Huh?"
"I challenge you to a Pokemon battle!" She hollered while pointing at him.
Kris couldn't help but notice, sparks are running through his head and sunshine is brightening his imagination. This fantasy of his only went on until 90 seconds later where the girl tries to snap him out.
"Uh, hello? Pokemon Battle!" The girl reminded.
"Oh, right! Um, Lucario, I choose you!" Kris tosses his Pokeball to let out his first Pokemon.
"A Lucario? Where did you get one?" The girl asked.
"You know the gym leader named Korrina?" Kris asked.
The girl nods in response to Kris' question. "I ran into her at Cyllage City and she offered me one of her Lucarios. Apparently, she has 2 at her disposal and she can see it in her eyes of a great trainer I can be." Kris explained.
"Hmmm...you seemed to be a cute trainer. How's this? We'll hold off our battle together and maybe you can talk to me more about yourself. We can grab milkshakes up ahead at Shalour City and we can chat to one another." The girl said.
"Really? Are you sure?" Kris asked with a blush appearing on his face.
"Of course! You're paying me a battle later, though!" The girl said in response.
"Thanks...my name's Kris." Kris said introducing himself holding out his hand.
"I'm Ashley. I'm from Anistar City. You know...my parents expect me to become a battler trainer myself, but I don't want to become that. I want to become a Pokemon Performer. Like the Kalos Queen, Aria." Ashley said.
"Really? Tell me more of this Pokemon Performing." Kris said as the two continue off the route and walk ahead to Shalour City to drink milkshakes together.
Flashback ends...
"And's that's how we wounded up to meet each other." Kris said finishing the story.
"Wait, you didn't want to battle at first and instead wanted to become a performer as well? My mom wanted me to do Rhyhorn racing like she did in her past and while I was a baby, and I wanted to become a performer too." Serena said as recognize a similar behavior between she and her friend.
"That's a bit of a coincidence might I say." Ashley said putting her finger on her chin.
"It was worth it to go out into the world and recognize my true dream, because otherwise, I wouldn't reunite with my loving Ashy." Serena said turning her head to her boyfriend.
Ash blushes once again and gives a sweet peck on his girlfriend's cheek. "I love you too, Sere-Sere. I would regret it if I never met you at camp and helped you. You're an amazing girl and I wouldn't have you any other way."
Serena giggles at her Ashy for that sentence. "I don't care if any other man falls in love with me. You're the only person I want." She cuddles against Ash's shoulder and he rubs his hand across her angelic honey blonde hair.
"So, how did you two meet?" Ashley asked.
"Long story short, I met Serena at Pallet Town Summer Camp and she got her knee injured. Luckily, I came into rescue to her and wrap my or, OUR special handkerchief." Ash explained of the special story meeting his before girlfriend.
"That handkerchief belongs to Ash and I kept it for a few years until I met up with him again and gave it back to him." Serena continued with the story.
"My memory came back to me realizing that I met Serena before as a friend and now we're on our own journey as boyfriend and girlfriend. It's the best time of my life because I see her every single day. I even gave her own handkerchief herself too since she borrowed mine." Ash said finishing up the story.
"That sounds so special. No wonder you two just love each other so much. I can see that it's 100% love you two have together, especially with those bracelets you're wearing, by the way." Kris points to the couple's love bracelets on their arms.
Ash and Serena look down to their bracelets where Kris was pointing. "These? It's a present Ash gave to me on our one month anniversary together as a couple. I thought it was so touching that he gave us bracelets better off than the ones that he made in camp when we were young."
"Yeah! It was made of wood and we were named Kanto Friends Forever. These bracelets I brought for me and Serena has a hidden surprise on them. Whenever she and I hold hands together, especially in a tight way, it glows red showing our love together. It knows we're a true couple together." Ash explained.
Kris and Ashley were fascinated by Ash and Serena's story together. There's a lot more to their story that has yet to be written for them.
"I would love to give me and Kris bracelets like those for ourselves. Where did you get those?" Ashley asked.
"At Lumiose City before we left from my gym battle with Clemont. I kept it a surprise for Serena until it was time." Ash answered.
"Maybe one day, me and Kris should double date with you guys! It'll be fun, with the four of us together! Don't you think, Kris?" Ashley excitedly asks her boyfriend.
"Sure. I'm in." Kris agrees.
"Well, that date is gonna have to wait! After Serena's turn here for her performance, now it's mine! I can't wait to go for my next gym badge here!" Ash said as he raises his fist up in excitement.
Ash is getting really close to entering and being eligible for the Pokemon League. So far, he has collected 6 badges in the region and he needs 2 left with one of the gym challenges here in Anistar City. Of course, he knows that his girlfriend is going to record his gym badge like how he recorded her performance in the previous day. He still feels lucky enough to get Serena's performance since the psycho girl Tammy kidnapped him in a closet where she wanted him all for herself.
"Hmmm...I remember that Tierno mentioned that he faced off against this gym earlier but he lost. He said that the leader of the gym handles Psychic-Type Pokemon." Clemont mentioned.
"Hey! Whatever type of Pokemon that the gym has, me and Pikachu are still gonna triumph it! Right, buddy?" Ash turns to his Pikachu asking that question.
"Pika Pika!" (Of course we are, Ash!) Pikachu said.
Ash walks out of the center where he runs to find the gym. Everyone else follows him except for Serena. Ash notices this and calls out to her in the Pokemon Center. "Hey, babe! Are you coming?"
"Oh, uh, yeah! Just give me a second...I just need to do something real quick." Serena answered.
"Okay. We're right down the street when you're done." Ash said as he leaves off his girlfriend.
Leaving with only Serena at the Pokemon Center, she walks over to a phone booth and she dials in a number. Once that was done, a video call starts and Serena asks a question to the person that she's talking to.
"Hello. Listen, I need a favor from you...it might help my boyfriend with his gym battle." Serena said.
Anistar City
Ash and his friends are on a roaming search looking for the Anistar Pokemon Gym for his next gym badge. One building he was certain to know was the restaurant that he and Serena had their date at where they meet Serena's new friends except for Tammy. While he knows that his girlfriend is far behind him, he doesn't care for that because he knows she'll be there for him.
Elsewhere in the city, a news report is happening with Kalos newscaster, Malva. She's at the famous Anistar Sundial with Professor Sycamore.
"Good morning, to all people in Kalos, I'm here live today at the Anistar City Sundial with Professor Sycamore here investigating the sundial. But, before we get to that, must we appreciate that we're in the spot of famous upcoming Pokemon Perfromer Serena Yvonne and her lover, Ash Ketchum's public affection in front of the Anistar City crowd!"
Of course, many are watching the live broadcast and the couple's closest friends in Kalos are hearing of their affection to each other.
Grace is smiling at herself hearing of her daughter's relationship.
Korrina is happy to hear at first glance of the relationship as well since she wasn't there when Ash and Serena confessed of each other's feelings, but she also has certain thoughts for another person as well. She's thinking of an inventor who specializes well with Electric types.
Miette, Tierno, Shauna, and Trevor all met each other at one point and sat down together to watch the news report on Shauna's phone. Trevor and Shauna are impressed with Ash and Serena's relationship so far and Miette and Tierno finds it better off dating each other since they will admit that their past crushes with Ash and Serena are away and are in favor of their relationship together.
"Now that's out of the way, let's hear it from Professor Sycamore! How are you doing today, professor?" Malva asked.
"I'm fine. Thanks. I'm interested to hear about the town's sundial which has been theorized to be connected with Mega Evolution." Sycamore answered.
While the news report is still broadcasting, nearby, the Team Rocket couple with Meowth and Wobbufett are eavesdropping at the broadcast. "The sundial's a special landmark for this city which means it's ours for stealing!" Jessie said.
"That's true, babe! We're here to plan out to steal the sundial away from this town and even show it to the boss! But there's a interesting rumor involving the sundial. It's been said that the sundial is some sort of artifact that came from outer space, maybe even the cosmos, and the properties form it is still questionable to this day even! It is the rumor to how it glows at different times of the day." James explained.
"Wow...for a boyfriend who's too addicted on bottle caps, you really know much information." Jessie complimented her boyfriend partner.
Just then, Professor Sycamore and his assistants are ready for their observation until...
"Sigilyph, use Psywave!"
A large wave of psychic energy blasts through and runs straight to Sycamore's equipment.
"Hey! What the-?" Professor Sycamore exclaimed.
"Sycamore! I'm here to stop you!" One of Olympia's assistants, Carrie shouting running to the Sundial's location.
"For what?" Sycamore asked in confusion.
"You! You're the cause for the crisis that our gym leader, Olympia, saw!" Carrie answered.
"What crisis? What's going on here?" Sycamore asking for what details are happening.
Near the sundial, Ash and the siblings happen to see the destruction caused by the Psywave. "What's going on?" Ash asked.
"Looks like something's happening at the sundial." Clemont said.
Serena now catches up with the group standing beside her boyfriend. "Here I am, Ashy! Anything I'm missing?"
"The gym might have to wait, Sere-Sere. Something's going on at the sundial..." Ash answered.
"Well, what are we waiting for? Let's go!" Bonnie said no longer wanting to spectate from far.
"Kay!" Ash said with the group running towards the sundial.
A few minutes later, Ash and his group of friends arrive at the Sundial location and not even a minute later already, Carrie points to the group with accusation.
"You! You and your friends ar there too! Sableye, use Power Gem on those four!" Carrie shouted with command to her Pokemon.
"Everyone, get back! I'm fighting this battle myself!" Ash said. Serena, Clemont, Bonnie, Alexis, Jasmine, Ashley, and Kris moves away from Ash as he throws out his Pokeball. "Frogadier, let's go! You too, Pikachu!"
Frogadier appears from Ash's Poke Ball while Pikachu steps down from his shoulder. "Pikachu, use Thunderbolt! Frogadier, use Water Pulse!"
Pikachu strikes a thunderbolt straight at Sigilyph while Frogadier builds up a sphere of water in its hands before shooting it directly at Sableye. Both moves easily defeats both of Carrie's Pokemon.
"Grrr...What kind of trainer are you killing my Pokemon off so easily?!" Carrie while greatly angered, holds out another Pokeball in her hand ready to try and defeat Ash's Pokemon but before that happens, her Pokeball floats in the air wondering what's happening.
Looking above, she sees the gym leader, Olympia forcing her Pokeball. "Carrie, stand down and stop this."
Another one of Olympia's assistants, Charlene stops by and surrenders Carrie. "Carrie, stop doing this! Don't you know what goes wrong when you jump to conclusions like this? Now apologize to everyone at once or you won't work at the gym no more!"
"I'm sorry..." Carrie apologizes to everyone around her.
"We're sorry too about this. Carrie always does this type of stuff whenever something unusual happens." Charlene said to everyone.
Professor Sycamore also takes notice of Olympia's appearance around. "Ah, you must be the gym leader here, Olympia."
"You're right. I take it you're Professor Sycamore?" Olympia asked.
"That's correct." Sycamore answered.
"Hey, what's going on? Why are you all here and that lady was attacking us?" Ash asked.
"Olympia was at her gym this morning and she had a vision where it involved all of you...even Professor Sycamore." Charlene explains the situation.
Olympia peers over to Ash's Pokemon and notices his Frogadier. She then gasps and another vision appears in her eyes. This vision depicts of some sort of shadow figure of a Pokemon...specifically one that's in a shape of a frog and looks to have ninja tactics. Water waves also appear from this vision. The vision ends from her as Olympia returns to reality.
"What's wrong?" Serena asked as she notices the concern on Olympia's face.
"Come. I'll explain more over at the gym." Olympia said.
Ash and the entire group looks at each other in confusion of the invitation Olympia said. They all follow suit of her to her gym.
Olympia's Gym
Everyone walks in to the Anistar City Gym for the first time and they all have impressed looks on their faces. The gym has an astounding design based on time and space which is similar to the concept of both Legendary Pokemon, Dialga and Palkia from the Sinnoh region.
"This gym looks amazing!" Ashley said in amazement.
'Yeah, I'm definitely challenging here one day!" Kris said.
"It might be based on the fact that Olympia gains visions on many different people's futures." Clemont explained.
"That's right and Olympia can only look into the future whenever she has these visions." Charlene said.
"Now, listen. This is important to your Frogadier as I had a vision involving it." Olympia said.
Everyone listens to Olympia's explanation as she starts to speak and a picture is shown overhead to everyone.
"Your Frogadier...is a Pokemon that's shown to have a curious fate. Let's begin with the start of its life." The picture shown is the very beginning of Froagdier's life when it was a Froakie sometime before he met Ash. Of course he was inside of a Pokemon egg with cyan spots all around it.
"Woah!" Everyone shouted in unison.
"So, that's Froakie's egg? I didn't know he was an egg then." Ash said.
"Professor, did you know of Froakie's past life before?" Jasmine asked.
"Well, actually, only by a little bit. It was up until I had it as a starter Pokemon for many trainers." Sycamore answered.
Everyone continues to watch Olympia's image as then the Pokemon egg starts to hatch. Once it was hatched, revealing to be a Froakie, it sets off to be a wild Pokemon on its own.
"After Froakie was born, it went off to become a really strong Pokemon. He trained with very hard work and perspiration and ignores to be with other Froakies as well to become the very best. A strong Froakie with its trainer, if you will." Olympia explained. "Because of that, the other Froakies takes notice of this and later, your Froakie got himself injured while becoming as strong as ever."
"Wow..." Ash whispered with an impressed look on his face.
"Then, Nurse Joy steps in to help after noticing Froake's condition. With some healing from the nurse herself, Froakie realizes that he needs to be with a Pokemon Trainer to become more stronger himself knowing that with a partner, their bonds will strengthen together. But since he was already becoming to be a strong Pokemon himself, he has integrity for picking which trainer he wants to end up with and says no to each trainer that he has met at the start of their journey." Olympia continued.
"Woah, so Fraokie was a Pokemon who wants to have special trust with someone." Clemont said.
"Yes, until it found Ash." Olympia stated.
"Huh?" Ash said wondering.
"Ash, your Froakie saw something in you that he was looking for in a trainer. Love. You've shown your concern for your Pokemon when it was injured after you first met each other arriving in Kalos." Olympia said.
Ash brings up a flashback of himself of becoming Froakie's friend...
Flashback begins...
Just then soon enough, a small device comes into the battlefield. Pikachu moves out of the way noticing the device. Ash turns around to see a familar group of bad guys behind him.
"Team Rocket! You guys followed me here?!" Ash yelled.
"Yes, and we are still on a mission to catch that Pikachu of yours!" A red haired woman named Jessie said.
"Ash, who are these people?" Clemont asked.
"Team Rocket! They're bad guys who steal other people's Pokemon! They have been terrorizing me and Pikachu since I was 10!" Ash said.
"Great description of us to tell to your new twerp friends." A blue haired man named James.
"Pikachu, use Electro Ball!" Ash said.
"Bunnelby, use Tackle!" Clemont said.
The two Pokemon runs towards Team Rocket and did their attacks. Jessie's Wobbuffet guarded Team Rocket and blocks the attacks which also reflected Pikachu's Electro Ball heading towards Pikachu.
Seconds passed, A Froakie comes out of the distance and uses its frubbles as a distraction to let Ash, Clemont, and Bonnie to escape. When they escaped, they saw that Froakie got injured. Ash takes the injured Froakie to Professor Sycamore's lab for safety.
Flashback ends...
"Froakie helped me out to defeat Team Rocket but he was poorly injured and we went to Professor Sycamore to help out. But after all that with the Garchomp incident and my first day around in Kalos..." Ash said before turning to Serena.
"It was even before I met the love of my life again...and she was watching me on TV. Kalos was the region with the help of 2 special friends...Froakie who I became his trainer afterwards and we became a strong pair together, and you, Serena." Ash said. "You motivated me so much to help out with my battle against Viola and I couldn't thank you enough for that. I can't even thank you so much to become my girlfriend as well. I love you so much..."
"Thanks Ash. I love being your girlfriend as well and you were the boy who saved me from that forest as well. You were the one who helped me realize my dream as well. We wouldn't be in a relationship together for helping each other out." Serena said with a warm smile on her face.
Ash and Serena closes in their lips again kissing each other for a good 10 seconds before letting go. Olympia smiles at the love gesture being shown in her gym until she gets another vision shown in her eyes.
This vision shows Ash and Serena all grown up as adults where it looks like they're in a church of some sort and Ash is in a tuxedo and Serena is a pure white dress. It shows them kissing each other while an audience of people looking to be their closest friends are cheering loudly for the two.
Another vision then immediately shows with the two in a hospital and Serena's on a bed wearing a white gown. Her honey blonde hair is very messy and her face has some drips of sweat. She's also holding a small baby wrapped in a blanket. "I love you so much, Serena. Thanks for giving birth to a brand new child in our lives."
"Well, I wouldn't give up until the end for this baby. Giving birth wasn't that easy, but it's worth it. I love this sweetie..."
"We're parents now. I'm sure we'll be a great mom and dad for this little bundle of sunshine..." The vision ends there.
What Olympia will keep to herself about the vision is the baby's gender. She knows of the gender but she also knows it will be a sweet surprise for both Ash and Serena (and the readers!) in the future.
"I'm happy with the friendship bond I have with you two! Froagider, you and I will continue to become a great pair for the Kalos League and I'll become Kalos Champion!" Ash said. He then takes a hold of both Serena's hands together. "And Serena, I promise I will continue to be a good boyfriend to you and I will love you as long as you want! You're my special girl and I don't want to let you go."
"Awww...Ashy. Thanks...I'm hoping to be the same with you as well. I mean, what's our future going to be like? Are we going to be married and also have kids as well?" Serena asked.
Ash chuckles from Serena's question. "Well, maybe. But all I know is that whatever the future takes upon us, we'll be there for each other."
"I'm glad to hear that." Serena said as she gives a quick peck on Ash's nose and giggles with a blush on her face.
"Now...continuing from you two's romance scene together, Ash, the vision I saw with your Frogadier is that it will certainly evolve in the future. However, there will be a special power that will work beside you as well." Olympia said.
Everyone takes a moment to figure out what Olympia is saying until Clemont comes to an idea. "Maybe it's mega evolution like with Korrina's Lucario..."
"That would be interesting, Frogaider evolves into Greninja, but there has never been an existence of a Mega-Greninja out there." Professor Sycamore said.
"Hmmm...well, maybe I'll be the first trainer ever to discover Mega-Greninja!" Ash said raising up hs fist then he turns over to Olympia. "Olympia, I challenge you to a gym battle!"
"Very well. I accept your challenge, Ash." Olympia said. She then gets into another vision although this one doesn't involve with Ash or his relationship with Serena. It's rather something else...
"Meowstic, use Helping Hand and then Future Sight." Olympia commanded.
"Is Olympia having another vision?" Serena asked.
"It looks like it." Kris answered.
"Olympia is visioning that there's a trio of 'rich and greedy evil criminals' plotting to take the sundial to their own." Charlene explained.
"Rich and greedy criminals? Who would-" Ash asks himself the question until his mind goes to a straight idea. "No! I think I might know who it is!"
Ash runs out of the gym with everybody following him for his lead.
"One more thing to mention, these criminals in the vision might be involved in the crisis you are eventually facing against." Olympia added.
"Really? How?" Ash asked.
"You'll see..." Olympia responded.
A few minutes later, Ash and his group of friends arrive back at the sundial's location finding the same trio that Olympia describes. Yep, Team Rocket! They're up on their hot air balloon equipped with huge and heavy grapplers to hang onto the sundial. They snicker at the sight of the 'twerps' down at the ground.
"Ta-ta, we'll be taking this and leave!" Jessie said.
"Oh no, you don't! Not on my watch! Frogadier, use Water Pulse on those idiots!" Ash shouted.
Frogadier builds up another ball of water from his hands and once grown to size, he directly shoots it at the hot air balloon with a rumble caused and a tripping Team Rocket on board. Because of that, the grips on the grapplers are loose which drops the sundial and then damages it.
"AH! The Sundial!" Charlene exclaimed with a horrified look on her face.
Then, Team Rocket receives a surprise attack. A bunch of energy blasts from Olympia's Meowstic activated Future Sight comes straight to them as their hot balloon explodes and are flying in the sky.
"TEAM ROCKET IS BLASTING OFF AGAIN!"
"Whew...I'm glad that's over..." Serena said.
Everyone looks up at the sky seeing Olympia descending down to the entire group like a certain one-winged angel who brings despair to everything...
"She's floating!" Serena pointed out.
"That's amazing..." Ashley said with an impressed look on her face.
"It's impressive timing how she drops in and takes out Team Rocket with such power with her Future Sight." Alexis commented.
(Again, sounds like a certain angel who slashes a Lord of Light in half just to follow a spiky-haired swordsman and give him nightmares, don't you think?)
"Hey, Ash. Now that you met Olympia and listened to her visions, are you prepared to battle her? Remember, not only she's specialized in Psychic-Types, but she's also a visionary. She can see right into your future." Clemont asked.
"Are you kidding me? I'm Psyched to battle her! I'm ready to earn my 7th badge!" Ash shows his excitement for his upcoming battle.
Olympia moves over to Ash. "Be prepared, Ash. There's a lot of possibilities happening in our battle so make sure you know what happens then." Ash nods his head before Olympia says a final thing to him before he leaves. "Also, make sure you also have the perfect future with Serena. Take care of her and your love for her will be in success with a happy ending."
"I will. It's what my love bracelet for her tells me." Ash said.
Later that night at the Pokemon Center...
Everyone is settled up at the Pokemon Center once again with Ash and Serena in their own room, Clemont and Bonnie in another, Kris and Ashley also have a separate room, and finally Jasmine and Alexis in another one. We take a look at the Amour Couple's room with Ash and Serena cuddling each other before they get some sleep.
"I love you so much, Sere-Sere, do you know that?" Ash asked.
"Yes, Yes, Ashy. I know. You keep telling me that for several times now this week." Serena said smiling giving him a quick peck on his cheek.
"I can't help it, my lovely honey beauty. You're the person who I love seeing the most each day. You're there beside me while we sleep and I can even smell your hair too. Is that a strawberry hair conditioner?" Ash asked with a blush on his face.
"Heheheh...yes. I'm so glad you've noticed." Serena giggles while she picks a piece of her hair and twirls it around. "So, you're ready to face against Olympia tomorrow?"
"Sure I am! Once I get that badge, there will be one left for me to battle until I can enter the Kalos League. I know you're going to be there cheering me on winning that badge!" Ash said.
"Hey, Olympia can be able to look into the future. I wonder if she can look into ours. I mean, does she see if we're married to each other?" Serena said with curiosity.
"If that happens, I'm sure to mark it down as one of the greatest days of my life. But that's sometime from now." Ash said.
"What if we have a kid too? Didn't we agreed that we'll be having a kid of our own when we're adults?" Serena asked.
"Of course. Maybe Olympia might have saw that. I just hope it's not from adaption. Maybe she saw you as a pregnant woman."
"Why does it matter if I'm pregnant? What if I can't be pregnant and give birth to a new life?"
"Because...I want to see a combination of ourselves in a person. I don't want to pick up a random child from an adoption center. I want a little girl of my own. I want you to hold a new life inside and we'll be prepared for it."
"Wait, a girl? Why do you think our child is a girl?"
"Because when I see her, I'll see you. And I love you so much that I'm willing to give you a child, Serena. You're everything to me and I want it to go the right way for us."
"Ash...that means a lot to me that you want me pregnant when we're older. That's why I love you. You're such a handsome gentleman willing to let me go through 9 months of creating a new life." Serena said bursting into tears after hearing what Ash said. "Come here."
"Look, I promise...*sniff* I promise that I'll be pregnant with your child and we'll take good care of it, okay? We'll be good parents, I promise."
Ash nods at this and rubs Serena's hair and gives her a kiss on her lips which she returns as usual. Serena stops sniffling after a minute and gets off the bed.
"Where are you going?" Ash asked.
"Uhh...to brush my teeth. Yeah, that's what I'm doing." Serena lied. She then quickly walks out of the room leaving a confused Ash.
Outside of her and Ash's room, Serena was expecting a package to be left out in the lobby. She heads there and of course, a box delivered with her name and a sticky note is shown.
"Thanks for asking, Serena. I hope this will put Ash in a mood to receive his 7th gym badge. Good luck with your relationship with him and return those to me when you're done." Serena reads the letter. She then opens the box and she's satisfied with the gift given from her mysterious friend.
"Perfect. Once I wear this, Ash will be given full confidence for winning his next badge. I'm his girlfriend and I'm doing the best things for him. That's what a good girlfriend should do."
She takes the box and heads back to her room where she finds Ash already asleep. She hides the box under the bed carefully and she gets into bed with her boyfriend. "I love you, Ash Ketchum. You're gonna be a great father in the future." She kisses his forehead and cuddles him until falling asleep with her head resting on his chest.
"Amy...that should be our kid's name..." Serena said in her sleepy thoughts. "Amy Ketchum..."
The Next Day...
5 days until Ash's Birthday!
It is now April 19th and Ash's Birthday is approaching very near but before the celebration is made to turn 14, he has to earn the next gym badge. He wakes up to a nice and warm hug from his girlfriend, especially after the talk they shared last night, then he eats breakfast with her with them sharing each other's bacon and eggs together.
After a nice breakfast, he runs off to the gym with his friends except Serena. It was now time for her to put on a special surprise for his gym battle as she takes the box from under the bed and heads into the bathroom.
Anistar Gym
Ash and his group of friends arrive back at the gym ready for his battle against Olympia.
"Hey, Ash. Are you sure Serena's coming? You know she's there for you to record your gym battles." Clemont said.
"Of course she is! She's my girlfriend after all and my heart would be a broken if she wasn't there to cheer me on." Ash answered.
"Look no further, Ashy! Turn around for a motivation for your battle!" A familiar female voice is heard and Ash turns his head around.
"Ta-da! It's me, Cheerleader Serena Yvonne at your side to make sure you win with the power of my pom-poms!"
"Serena?! Wait...those clothes are familiar..." Ash said with a surprising look on his face at the sight of his girlfriend. Yep, Serena's in a full cheerleader's outfit with a bunch of pink around the clothing and also has a blue and white v-shape around the chest part of her dress. Her skirt is also mainly consisting of pink as well with some white triangles at the bottom of the skirt. If that wasn't enough for her, there's also red heart patches on the stomach part of the dress and on the back of it. Finally, On both of her hands are pink pom-poms equipped.
"Hee hee...am I so cute in this dress, Ashy? Did I make you blush too hard?" Serena giggled.
Ash has big strands of red around his face just noticing his girlfriend in a freaking cheerleader outfit! "Oh...umm...I..."
"Great Job, Serena. You really have your boyfriend fall in love with you a lot more than before with that outfit." Serena thought.
"You're beautiful...that's what I can say...but aren't those clothes from..." Ash speaking before his girlfriend interrupts.
"Dawn? Yes, yes they are. I remember that you told me that your friend Dawn dresses up in a few of your gym battles in Sinnoh so I thought I do the same for you in this gym battle. So I called her yesterday to send over her cheerleader outfit and i did a bit of decorating herself that she doesn't mind. I added a few heart patches on the outfit like I did with the Rhyhorn outfit when I helped you with racing. Then, I also put some pink sparkles around the dress as well to make it look very shiny, so now it's a deluxe cheerleader outfit which I feel that it has special powers to make up very special cheer quotes and punch my pom-poms towards you." Serena explains a lot about her sent-in dress from Ash's Sinnoh friend.
"Wow, baby, I didn't think you would do this for me. You're a really good girlfriend and I'm sure to win this the help of you!" Ash said.
"Thanks...just think of me as your personal cheerleader like how Gary has 5 cheerleaders with him while he's riding on his convertible." Serena said.
"At least I do have a cheerleader on my side, and it's my girlfriend." Ash then stops his sentence until he realizes what he said. "I have a cheerleader girlfriend...I have a cheerleader girlfriend!"
"Oh-Okay, calm down, Ashy. I love that you're fired up because of me, but at least focus on your confidence for your badge." Serena said patting her boyfriend's shoulders.
"Right. Do your best to cheer me on, my honey sweet cheerleader!" Ash said.
"I so will, my cute and shy Ashy!" Serena said giving him a peck on his cheek.
"Heh...I'm not shy." Ash giving out another blush on his face rubbing his cheek on the area where Serena kissed.
"Not when you were looking at me earlier and on my Fennekin outfit, that's how you started to get a crush on me, you naive boy." Serena said moving her boyfriend's chin side to side.
"Can you let go of me, please? I didn't know that my mom would be here!" Ash said annoyed.
Serena puts her hand away from Ash. " Sorry. I didn't mean to turn into Delia. I'm just your girlfriend, that's all."
"And you'll still be the best one once I win this, now let's go!" Ash said moving forward to the gym. "Olympia, I'm here for my gym battle!"
After hearing her name, Olympia descends down to the group. "Ah, Ash. You're here. I hope you're prepared for this battle as it will determine for your future of competing in the Kalos League."
"I'm not worried for this, Olympia! I'm sure to win my 7th gym badge and I got my girlfriend to cheer me on. Literally." Ash said raising up his fist.
"A supporting loving friend, I see. Well then, let's begin this." Olympia said as she throws out 2 of her Pokemon which are the same, but different genders together: a male and female Meowstic.
Ash knows he's up for another challenging battle using 2 Pokemon at once.
"Hey, Clemont, can you hold the video camera for me? I've got some cheering to do for my boyfriend!" Serena asks handing the camera to Clemont which he admires to take.
"No worries, Serena. I can do this for you and Ash to look back upon." Clemont said.
Meanwhile...
While Sycamore is at the gym spectating Ash's battle, both of his assistants, Sophie and Cosette are out near the sundial looking through the damage caused by Team Rocket earlier.
"Those fools! Ruining our equipment and the sundial! Who the hell do they think they are?" Sophie asked angrily.
"Don't worry. Olympia's got a replacement for us to use later." Cosette said patting her friend's shoulder.
Just then, a trio of people looking to be a news team wearing suits finds the two female assistants looking at their damaged equipment. The trio approaches these two like normal.
"Hello! We're a news team here in Kalos and we're asking if you can give us some insight about the Anistar Sundial." The magenta haired news member asked.
"Sure! What we have to say about the sundial is that its energy that gives off around is the same kind of energy that is being released during Mega Evolution." Sophie explained.
In response, the news team trio gives out a shocked reaction to the information. "That's certainly very interesting to hear..." The blue haired newsman said.
Back to Ash's gym battle...
With the referee marking the start of the battle, Ash's next test in Kalos has begun facing against Psychic types.
Battle begin! Ash Ketchum Vs. Olympia (Anistar Gym Leader)
Serena, being the supportive girlfriend for Ash starts the battle with a fun cheer for him. "Ash, Ash, I'm your number one fan! You can do it, I know you can!"
Ash makes a slight blush on his face not even looking at his girlfriend for the made up cheer used for him. He couldn't help but laugh inside of himself hearing that his girlfriend is his #1 fan. He doesn't even have a fanbase of his own and Serena started it up.
"Okay, Frogaider, you're up first!" Ash said tossing his Pokeball out releasing the water frog.
"Froga!"
"And who else, Ash?" Olympia asked.
"Oh. Umm..." Ash thinks for a moment for his 2nd Pokemon to battle aside Frogaider. His Electric-type buddy runs up to him. "Pika Pika!" (Ash, choose me!)
"Heh heh. Sorry, buddy. I know you love to battle but I'm gonna give this one to Talonflame. You understand, right?" Ash smiled sadly at Pikachu.
"Pika Pika..." (Yeah, I do...) Pikachu slowly walks away from Ash.
"Let's begin! Male Meowstic, use Helping Hand! Female, use Future Sight!"
Golden aura energy appears around the Male Meowstic's body as it shifts the aura to the female Meowstic which gains a boost of her stats. The Female Meowstic then enlarges her ears which then starts to glow blue. Then, a few portals appear around the Meowstic where she sends out multiple amounts of psychic energy through them. The portals disappear where it's now cue for Ash's turn of things.
"Alright, let's go! Frogaider, use Aerial Ace and Talonflame, use Flame Charge!" Ash shouted commanding his Pokemon.
While Talonflame was easily able to move away quickly from the targeted Future Sight, it starts to enrage itself in flames heading straight to the female Meowstic while Frogaider makes a targeted hard chop onto the Male Meowstic.
Both attacks were instead missed while the two Meowstics move very swiftly from Ash's Pokemon using their Psychic powers. He turns over to both of his Pokemon, "Guys, make sure you look at their movements closely. They seem to have high speeds in their stats."
Then, Ash makes the next move for both of his Pokemon. "Now Talonflame, use Flame Charge again on the male and Frogaider, use Water Pulse on the female!"
Olympia takes action with both her Meowstics against Ash's Pokemon in the second turn of events. "Now, Male Meowstic, use Light Screen!"
A pink shield field appears around both Meowstics protecting from any special attack Ash's brings out from his Pokemon. "Female Meowstic, use Dark Pulse!" Meowstic creates a purple orb of dark energy from her hands which then turns into a bunch of purple rings sending it to Talonflame which he hits upon collision starting to fall to the ground.
"Talonflame!" Ash calls out.
Frogaider comes quick to Talonflame's aid catching him upon safety. Ash breathes out a sigh of relief seeing one of his Pokemon okay.
"I see that Meowstic is using its ability, Prankster." Sycamore commented.
"Prankster?" Ashley questioned.
"It's an ability where support moves can be used before the opponent's Pokemon can be able to attack." Sycamore explained.
"So Olympia is using that to her advantage against Ash's Pokemon. That makes sense." Clemont said.
Serena happens to overhear closely to the group as she does her next chant to her boyfriend. "Ashy, Ashy! Don't give up! Show them what's sup!" (Cringe if you want for that.)
"Meowstics, use Psyshock!" Olympia shouted.
Both of the Meowstics create a purple orb of energy similar to the Dark Pulse from earlier then both fires the purple energy from their hands straight to both Talonflame and Frogaider. "Dodge them!"
Talonflame and Frogaider tries their best to avoid being hit by the purple beams around the battlefield but it seems to be no use with another ability coming from the female Meowstic which Sycamore takes notice on.
"Now the female Meowstic is using her ability, Keen Eye! The attack follows the two around until impact!" Sycamore said.
It wasn't long until both of Ash's Pokemon were hit by the attack. Ash was about to make his next move but now things get more worse for the two Pokemon. Remember that Future Sight from earlier? Yeah, that move also hits upon collision with Ash's Pokemon as well. He now starts to grow in worry for this battle. "Oof...this might be tough...their Psychic moves are interesting to deal with...
Then, something from his mind came up! "I got it!" He reverts back to his state in the battle. "Pikachu! Keep count of that attack!"
"Pikapi!" (You got it, Ash!) Pikachu said snapping his finger.
"Now, Talonflame, use Brave Bird! Frogaider, use Double Team!" Ash commanded.
Frogaider went ahead and makes copies of himself to confuse the Meowstic. "Meowstic, use Helping Hand again! Female, use Dark Pulse after!"
The male Meowstic glows a bright aura once again sending it to his female partner and then the Female Meowstic creates another dark orb of energy and makes a bunch of purple rings shoot out from her hands being thrown into the Frogaiders. One by one, the Dark Pulse manages to hit a Frogaider which fades away showing their false form.
"Now, use Cut, Frogaider!" Ash shouted. Frogaider leaps up and was about to unleash a white slash to the female Meowstic until she starts to attack him again with one of her moves. "Use Dark Pulse!"
About to hit Frogaider, the female Meowstic creates another dark orb of energy until...
"Talon!" (Here I come!) Talonflame said charging right from the smoke caused by the earlier Dark Pulse and collides upon the female Meowstic using Brave Bird.
"Yeah! That's how it's done!" Ash cheered.
"Don't get too excited, Ash. There's still more from my Meowstics you have to endure. Now, use Thunder Wave!" Olympia said.
The Meoswtic sends out a jolt of electric energy to Talonflame but instead Frogaider jumps in to protect Talonflame and takes the electrical hit. Frogaider falls down feeling some electrical jolts on his body as he's now paralyzed.
"Frogaider!" Ash calls out.
"Helping Hand and Future Sight, again!" Olympia commanded.
Yet another glow of aura was sent to the other Meowstic while she sends out more Psychic energy through created portals. Meanwhile, Pikachu spectating takes note of the Future Sight attack as he counts using his tail for the duration of the attack.
"Now use Psyshock, both of you!" Both Meowstics create another dark orb of energy from their hands shooting straight to Talonflame.
"Talonflame, use Steel Wing!" Ash shouted. Talonflame flies forward and his wing shines brightly as it approaches the dark energy and deflects it using its sharp wing.
Ash notices the Psyshock energy still in motion curving around as it still heads for Talonflame. "Frogaider, use Water Pulse to help out Talonflame!"
Frogaider runs forward and fires a blue orb of energy from its hands and shoots the water energy at the Psyshock which counters that attack from Talonflame ashing it away.
"Use Steel Wing again, Talonflame!"
Talonflame sharpens and glows his wings again flying to the Male Meowstic where he spins and attacks it briefly with the improved wing.
"Wait, how did that work? Isn't that Meowstic protected by the Light Screen?" Clemont questioned.
"Yes, but physical moves like Ash's Steel Wing are not affected by that so Ash used that to his advantage." Professor Sycamore explained. Serena smiles brightly of how good of a battler her boyfriend is. "You can do it, Ashy. I love you. No worries, you're my boyfriend, after all."
"Frogadier, use Aerial Ace!" Ash commanded.
Frogaider tries to leap up high to chop dive on the Meowstic, however, it fails upon doing that since it was still under the Paralysis effect.
"Frogaider!" Ash exclaims to his fallen Pokemon.
"Use Dark Pulse!" Olympia shouted. The Male Mewostic creates another orb of dark energy from his hands shooting it straight to Frogaider while paralyzed. The impact was a success as Frogaider was thrown in the air and Hawlucha leaps forward catching the frog Pokemon, but, as they were leaping down, the earlier Future Sight attack hits upon them as well with the Psychic energy causing them to drop down to the ground immediately. Ash exclaims seeing the successful attack on those two. He's lucky they're not fainted just yet, but he's not giving up like he always have said when he met Serena.
Pikachu also took note of how long that attack has lasted. He has it in mind to warn Ash.
"Use Helping Hand and Future Sight once more!" Olympia again commands her Pokemon using the same same previous moves with the same previous actions on her Pokemon, with one Meowstic sharing the glowed aura to another and the other Meowstic creating Psychic energy and distributes them through portals until a minute later. Pikachu again starts to count time of the Future Sight attack.
"Now, female, use Dark Pulse, and male, use Psyshock!" Olympia shouted. The male Meowstic again creates a Psychic dark purple orb from her hands while the female does the same thing but a bunch of purple rings appear to shoot through aiming for one of Ash's Pokemon.
"Frogaider, ride on Talonflame!" Ash commanded. Frogaider hops on Talonflame as the two take on a flying ride in the gym. Talonflame rides like the wind as he dodges the psychic shots heading towards the two. "Now, dive onto them!"
Talonflame nosedives down to both Meowstics before they have any time to react which gives Ash the advantage for both of his Pokemon as then both Dark Pulse and Psychock proceeds to hit both Meowstics and damage them instead. Then, the duo Pokemon team holds onto both Pokemon for another attack incoming which Pikachu warns Ash of.
"Pika Pika!" (Ash, here it comes!) Pikachu exclaimed.
"Okay, now! Throw those two...now!" Ash shouted. Just at the right time, Both Frogadier and Talonflame throws the two Meowstics into the earlier Future Sight attack with the Psychic attack both hitting them on the ground.
Serena gasps at noticing how clever her boyfriend is at battling. "Woah...Ashy's the best trainer ever...he's getting that badge in no time!"
"Well played, Ash. But my Pokemon are still up and running! Both of you, use Psyshock against them again!"
"Frogaider, use Cut!" Ash shouted. Frogaider tries to leap up and slash at the Meowstic again but the paralysis effect is still in control of him. However, Talonflame is right by Frogaider and lends him...a wing? Yes, as Frogaider hangs onto Talonflame again, they fly around the stage before the Psyshock was able to attack the two.
"I'm gonna keep doing this if I have to defeat you, Ash! Male Meowstic, use Helping Hand again and Female Meowstic, use Dark Pulse after!" Olympia shouted. Once again, as usual, The male Meowstic creates a golden aura around his body and sends it to his female partner while she creates another purple dark orb of energy from her hands and makes a straight shot to both Talonflame and Frogadier.
"Talonflame, use Flame Charge now!" Ash shouted. Talonflame engulfs itself in flames and fires through. The Psyshock and Dark Pulse attacks were still after the two, however, Talonflame's Flame Charge proves to be invincible enough as both attacks happens to hit the two but not much damage was delivered to them. Talonflame then heads and aims for the Male Meowstic who swiftly moves away from the attack and Talonflame instead attacks the female Meowstic getting hit with a nasty burn.
Meanwhile, Frogaider was also aiming for the Male Meowstic using the Cut attack, however, he was almost able to slash the male Meowstic since it moved swiftly from Talonflame's Flame Charge.
"Now, Frogadier, use Water Pulse!" Ash commanded. Frogaider tries to build up another energy water ball to shoot, unfortunately, the Paralysis effect still is taking control of him. "Arrghh...Frogaider's paralyzed and it's annoying me! I shouldn't be worried...I'm doing well in this battle...and..." Ash thought before turning his head around seeing his cheerleader girlfriend blowing a kiss at him. He slightly blushes from Serena's blwon kiss. "I have the best girlfriend ever who believes in me as always. I love you, Serena. I'm not failing myself and you. You're the most important person in the world for me. I wouldn't have any other girl than you. You're just the girl I wanted."
Just after Ash thinks all that through, his relationship bracelet starts to glow red along with Serena's as she notices it by looking into her hand. "Ah! Ashy's thinking of me! He knows not to give up! Which is why he's my perfect man and I love him so much!"
Seeing Frogaider's paralyzed opening, Olympia sees another opportunity to attack. "Now, Male Mewostic, use Psyschock!" The Male Meowstic creates another dark purple orb from both of its hands but just as he attacks, Frogaider, still paralyzed, continues to charge up his Water Pulse ball and growing it into a large water ball. It was enough that when Frogaider throws the water ball at both of the Meowstic which also cancels the Psyshock and creates a mega splash at the two which a moment later, causes them to faint.
Battle Finished! Winner: Ash Ketchum!
"Both Male and Female Meowstics are unable to battle, Ash Ketchum from Pallet Town is the clear winner!" The referee shouted.
Ash shouts in happiness knowing that he won his 7th badge. Serena blushes happily at the sight of her boyfriend's victory. Her cheerleading and passion for Ash really helped him to win this battle. She couldn't any more proud of herself being such a inspirational girlfriend for Ash.
After the battle...
"My strong, and hard Ashy! He won his 7th gym badge!" Serena said holding his arm.
"Heheh. Where would I be without the best girl who helped and gave me great courage during this battle?" Ash asked as then he gives a quick peck at Serena's lips.
Olympia comes forward and talks with Ash. "Ash, you're one of the best challengers I've faced. Your Pokemon and even Pikachu, showed great dedication towards you and I recognized that love for your Pokemon in that finishing move of your Frogaider. I can see that you and him will overcome great heights and become the very best there is."
"Thanks, Olympia! I hope to see that to. I've yet to become a champion and surely, I know that I will win a league and become a Pokemon Master!" Ash said.
"However, if things don't plan out the same way as you intended to go by, danger will await you. Remember that. That being said, here, it's yours now." Olympia hands over her gym badge to ASh as he grabs it himself.
"Yeah! I won the Psychic badge!" Ash shouted as he shows off his badge. "Pika Pika!" (I'm so happy!) Pikachu cheered.
At the Pokemon Center...
"Hey, Olympia, earlier in the gym, what did you mean by the danger you saw earlier that will eventually happen in Kalos?" Professor Sycamore asked.
"Green fire...A flickering green flame...I saw it engulf Kalos and threaten to consume all of the people and Pokemon in that swirling fire burning like in hell. You will all play a very prominent and important role in the chaos and insanity that will put Kalos deep in burning hell. Even the villains who tried to steal the sundial." Olympia explained.
Meanwhile...
Each of the Team Rocket members are flying above Kalos in their hot air balloon. Suddenly, each of them sneezes with an unoknown reason.
"Hey...why did we sneeze?" James asked in confusion.
"Maybe somebody was talking about us for something?" Meowth guessed.
"Who in the hell other than the twerps would be mentioning the name of Team Rocket?" Jessie asked.
Back to the Pokemon Center...
"Thanks Professor Sycamore for seeing me battle." Ash thanks the professor but there's another person to thank as well for Ash. "And thank you, Sere-Sere. You're the best girlfriend ever. It reminds me when you reminded me of who I am during Viola's gym battle and now you went full courage through by dressing up in that cheerleading outfit." Ash said.
"Oh! That reminds me! I need to send this back to Dawn! I'm sure she wants it!" Serena reminded herself.
"No! No! Keep it! I'll tell Dawn that she can get another one! I love that you're wearing a cheerleader outfit." Ash exclaimed.
"Are you sure?" Serena asked.
"Yes! Dawn may be my best friend that I hung out with a couple of years ago, but you're my girlfriend. What better way to cheer me on a gym battle for the fact that my girlfriend is helping me out on it? Please keep it..." Ash said with a puppy look on his face.
Serena was giving a conflicted look on her face. On one hand, that cheerleading outfit belongs to Dawn and it was a favor to help out on Ash's gym battle. On the other hand, it wouldn't mind that she can be a personal cheerleader for him since Dawn did the same thing but rather as a girlfriend. On another hand, she did happen to decorated herself too with sparkles. She thought about it for a moment before she speaks up to her boyfriend.
"Okay...I'll ask Dawn if she can let me wear this from now on..." Serena decided. "You're lucky that you're my boyfriend asking for permission."
"Thanks, Serena!" Ash excitedly hugs his girlfriend. "I love you so much, baby."
Professor Sycamore walks over to the couple and opens up a conversation to them. "Okay, Ash and Serena. I have a present for you. Take these." Professor Sycamore gives the Kalos couple what seems to be familiar devices. "Newly updated PokeDexes! There, you can better information on Pokemon!"
"Thanks, Professor Sycamore!" Both Ash and Serena said in unison together.
"Well, that's been settled here! Where are we off to next, honey?" Ash asks his girlfriend.
Serena picks up her tablet from inside of her purse and searches the map of Kalos. "Ta-da! It looks like the next location with a gym is the Snowbelle City!" Serena shows the map in her tablet.
"Then that's where we're going!" Ash said. "Thanks guys! It's been a fun few days here hanging out with y'all but we got to get going. We'll see you later!"
The group says goodbye to Ashley, Kris, Alexis, and Jamsine as they hug each other before leaving the Pokemon Center, and eventually, Anistar City. Ash and Serena leave the Pokemon Center and walks hand-in-hand with each other venturing through more of Kalos as the journey continues!
But lastly...after the entire group leaves the Pokemon center, Olympia receives another vision as hinted by the green glow in her eyes.
Finally finished! I m through with this chapter at long last! I've been working on this for a few months and it's finally complete! Not to mention, another 10k chapter! I'm less than 30k words for this fic to hit 200k words!
Anyways, Ash has now finally receives his 7th badge and he has 1 more left until he can eneter the league! He and Serena's goals are getting nearly complete now!
There's so much to say about this chapter...
First up, Ash and Serena's future. Olympia gains a vision in the far future where both Ash and Serena got married and they have a child themselves. Question is, will that vision become true? Only time will tell...
Next, a video game reference. Somewhere in this chapter, I referenced a certain video game released in 1997. Yes, Final Fantasy VII. I've been playing that game recently and it's an interesting one. I don't have a PlayStation but it is on Switch. Maybe one day when I finish, I'll get to play the remake on the PS4. I mean, one of my favorite characters in Smash Ultimate is Cloud so maybe it was meant to be that I play Final Fantasy.
Now, for that amour scene in the Pokemon Center with Ash and Serena talking about their future. Serena really would love to become a loving mother and she wouldn't mind of becoming pregnant herself. Even if it's discomforting for her in the later stages...she would love to give birth to a mini version of her. Just let Ash hope that their kid is a baby girl...
Now for a special announcement...
I've finished Kalos Quest (Season 18), so now what's next? Well, XYZ! Pokemon's 19th season that I consider to be my favorite in XY which is why I'm planning to do this...every chapter from then onwards will be based on an episode of XYZ! That's right! You read it correctly! All 47 episodes will be rewritten in this fanfic with some original ideas of mine and I'm sure it'll be exciting!
