Catastrophe

Luffy was a pure-blooded Great Britain Field Dog, a dog also poetically known as the Wild Rover because of their suave and unruly temperament, or simply Wild Dog to the local population.

He was black and shiny and almost five years old. For a dog, it was the perfect age to pursue his ambitions. Luffy's ambition is simple: marry a white female dog and raise a small group of black and white, cow-like puppies together. His immediate goal was to get another pair of old shoes.

Ginny was walking down the country road, clutching a kraft paper bag and fishing for a handful of strawberries in the fields that lined the road. The strawberries had just ripened in July and there was still a hint of spring left in them.

"I'm walking alone on a country road, I'm bringing beef to Luffy to feed~~~ his den is far away and secluded, I have to watch out for the big bad wolf on the road~~~ " she sings, making all the animals around her flee and making all the plants wish of growing a few legs.

Whenever Luffy saw a large flock of sparrows in the sky, scattered and frightened, flying a trigonometric shape route, he knew that Ginny was coming and was in a good mood.

He immediately took his new friend with him and crouched together under the big oak tree at the entrance to town.

Ginny saw Luffy from afar and was touched from the bottom of her heart; she watched Luffy grew from a tiny puppy not exceeding one foot to the good handsome dog now, and thought she hadn't stolen those beef cans for nothing.

"Luffy-" Ginny came running, waving a paper tape.

Knowing Luffy's favourite is shoes, Ginny jumped enthusiastically in front of him, shoving an old leather shoe into his mouth by hand. Luffy was obviously not expecting such treatment, froze for a few seconds, shook off the shoe, and stomped on Ginny so hard that she cried out in pain:

"You don't chew shoes anymore? You certainly have changed a lot!"

At the time Ginny finished speaking, she saw another dog clutching the thrown shoes and chewing on them, and that was Luffy. The one in front of her, although very close in size and colour to Luffy, has a far different expression than Luffy, didn't look like a dog that would play catch at all, or eat dog food.

Ginny looked at the two dogs, thought for a moment, and said:

"Gee, what a pretty girlfriend, and she looks aristocratic, lucky you, Luffy!"

She immediately received another stomp.

"No? She's a long-lost and reunited mother?"

Received another stomp.

"Your sister?"

Another stomp.

"Daughter?"

Stomp.

The big dog showed his bright white teeth, ivory white and solid, as if he had been pampered daily with Colgate from the inside out. Ginny finally realized she couldn't go on obsessing and turned to Luffy, asking:

"Kid, I hear there's something you want me to see, huh? Tell me about it."

Luffy nodded solemnly and said, "Woof woof woof woof! Woof, woof, woof! Woof, woof, woof, woof, woof, woof! Woof! Woof, woof, woof, woof, woof, woof, woof, woof, woof..."

He expressed himself excitedly, and Ginny, having listened to him, nodded and said, "I see, you mean woof!"

And then she was stomped on furiously by two dogs.

Interpreters are important when engaging in diplomacy, they will prevent you from having a blind conversation. Feeling that she needed such a person right now, Ginny took Luffy and Luffy II to the burrow to find Ghogho. Outside the fence of the burrow, she scouted the surroundings; the troublesome ones were not at home, Percy was studying, and Mum was in the garden.

Let's go. With a wave of her hand, Ginny led her companion through a gap in the hedge at the back of the house, next to the entrance to the basement, through which she could get out of Mum's way.

Ginny hadn't been in the basement for a long time, and her sister used it as her own personal laboratory. She was said to be constantly inventing all sorts of magic potions. But Ginny suspected that she was working there to create world-destroying biological weapons, because once she had gone into the kitchen at night to find something to eat, and heard unusual noises coming from the basement. It was late, and the family should have been asleep. In the frozen silence of midnight, the sounds from the basement were particularly frightening, as the low roar of a monster.

She wasn't really creating some kind of artificial human, was she? Mum would never let her. Ginny was a little nervous as she stepped into the darkness of the basement; she couldn't use magic outside of school, the only source of light she had was a box of matches, and the only weapon was a pencil sharpener.

The trapdoor of the basement closed overhead and the only light in the large basement was a small pea-sized fire.

"Careful, the fifth step is broken, don't-ouch!"

She turned back to warn her companions, but she stepped on it herself, rolled down the stairs, and crashed into a row of medicine cabinets. The medicine cabinets collapsed violently. Luckily Luffy and Luffy II rushed up to make a cushion in time to keep them from making a terrible thud. The bottles of medicine from above fell in droves, hitting a person and two dogs headlessly.

Ginny scrambled up on her hands and knees, and picked up the heavy medicine cabinet on the two dogs. Listening sideways, there were no footsteps, no one seemed to be paying attention to this side of the basement. Fumbling again, she found the match that had fallen. She lit the fire and the room was a mess, pill bottles tipped over and broken, powders of all colours laying on the floor, mixed together in an indistinguishable way.

Ginny felt the sky was falling and it took a moment to steady herself. Finding a section of the wax that could be used as a light, she and the two Luffy picked out the intact bottles and cleaned off the broken glass. As for the powder on the floor, what the hell, just fill the bottles back haphazardly and hide it for a while.

As they swept some of the remaining irrecoverable powder into the cracks in the wall, they suddenly felt the room brighten and Ginny turned around to see that the head of the candle she put there had burned to the bottom, igniting nearby papers and flames were running throughout the table.

NO! I won't be able to see the sunshine of tomorrow anymore! Goodbye world!

Ginny rushed up in desperation and grabbed something then flung it into the flames, swinging it around in a completely irrational manner. If it hadn't been for the two Luffy's tacit agreement to find a large piece of tarpaulin to cover the table, the burrow above would have been reduced to a ruin.

Ginny calmed down and looked at the house, which was even more of a mess than before she had tidied it up, and her joints were about to fall apart of their own accord.

Suddenly, a bone-chilling cold spread through Ginny's body, as if she had fallen into the Arctic Ocean in December and sunk with a glacier. She noticed that she was putting out a fire with something that was so burnt and black. It had broken off from the middle, with a few wood shavings still attached.

A silver-coloured wand...

"Luffy... " Ginny burst into tears, "You'll have to collect my body for me... "

And with that, she was transformed into a painting by Munch-The Scream.
