A/N: I have a 74yr old toddler who can drive. And that is allot of work.
Korsak shrugged. "That's his girlfriend, Penelope."
"He's a freaking turtle, Korsak, he doesn't have girlfriends!"
"Tortoise. And they actually do form monogamous relationships."
Jane turned to see Maura, dressed in her wedding gown and looking beautiful.
"Maura...you look beautiful."
Maura smiled and replied, "As do you." She looked the detective over. "Midnight blue. You remembered."
Jane smiled. "I did."
Maura stepped back and motioned to her dress. "Do you like?" Jane nodded. "Now, tell me why you are discussing tortoises and their love lives?"
Jane stepped to the side and motioned in the direction of Maura's surprise guest.
"Bass! Oh Bass, you look so dapper in your little top hat and who is this with you?"
Korsak stepped forward. "That is his lady friend, Penelope. Apparently they are trying to breed them and they need to stay together, non-stop, so I had to bring her as well."
Maura turned to Jane and hugged her. "Thank you."
"Let's get married."
They walked down the aisle, being led by a pair of slow moving tortoises. Once they arrived in front of Dominick, Jane squealed.
"You said you wanted to get married at home plate at Fenway."
"Oh my God, Maura! Is this...no...is it?"
"Actual dirt from Fenway. Frankie helped me get the home plate thingee."
Jane pulled Maura to her and they kissed, deeply. Breaking apart only when Dominick cleared his throat.
"How about we get you two married off before you start making out?"
As he stepped back, Maura saw the small volcano Jane had made for the wedding.
Maura looked at Dominick. "We better get started before this turns into an x-rated wedding."
Dominick began the ceremony and when he got to the vows, he announced they had each written their own.
"Maura, you are my best friend, closest confidant and the thing I never knew was missing from my life. I will cherish you and honor you for as long as I live. I will be faithful and devoted to you and our family and will always put our family first. I love you."
Dominick looked at Maura and nodded.
"Jane, I once told you I had conducted a ten year long study to find the perfect man for me and that there was no perfect man for me. And I was right; there is no perfect man for me. There is a perfect woman. A perfect woman who challenges me, makes me a better person, understands me and is my fiercest ally. You, Jane Clementine Rizzoli. I will be faithful and devoted to you and our family. I will cherish you now and forevermore. I will put our family first and above all others."
Dominick looked between them and asked, "Do we have the rings?"
Both Jane and Maura looked surprised at the question.
"Oh no..."
"Uh..."
Frankie and Korsak came to the rescue. Korsak took something from around Bass' neck and Frankie did the same with Penelope. They each held up a gold band, drawing chuckles from the other guests. Frankie handed the ring he held to Jane and Korsak gave the one Bass had carried to Maura.
They exchanged rings and Angela handed Avery to Jane and Constance handed Maura her jersey, which the doctor put on. Arthur held up the smaller jersey and slipped it on Avery as Jane held him.
Dominick smiled and said, "By the powers vested in me, by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, I now pronounce you wife and wife. You may now kiss each other."
Jane smiled down at Maura and handed Avery to Arthur as she slipped her hands into Maura's hair and pulled her in for a deep, lingering kiss. Maura ran her hands through Jane's hair and pulled her closer, turning her head to gain better access to the detective's lips.
As they pulled apart, Jane ran her thumb along Maura's jawline. Maura ran her thumb along Jane's cheekbone.
Maura whispered, "I am so very happy."
Jane whispered, "I love you so very much, Maura."
"Ladies and gentlemen, I now present to you Avery, Maura and Jane Rizzoli and Isles."
They were immediately engulfed by their family members.
Korsak announced that food in the form of Fenway Franks, Del's Frozen Lemonade and Chocolate Buttercream Ganache wedding cake.
Each woman was surprised and had tears streaming down their faces.
"Maura, you're crying. Are you ok?"
Maura smiled. "So are you." She leaned in and kissed Jane and then whispered, "You are getting so lucky tonight."
They broke apart and began to mingle with their guests.
"Thank you for bringing Bass and his lady friend today, Vince."
Korsak smiled at Maura. "You know I'm a romantic at heart and an animal lover. Happy to do it."
"Oh Janie, I am so happy for you and Maura and Avery." Jane smiled at her mother and then hugged her.
Maura was now talking to Hope and Constance and Arthur. Jane had moved on to Frankie and Nina while they waited on the food to be served.
Jane reached for Maura's hand and pulled her wife to her.
"Hello Mrs. Rizzoli." She pulled Maura to her and kissed her. Maura returned the kiss and as they separated, Maura whispered, "Hello to you, Mrs. Isles."
They kissed again, and only pulled apart to smile for the photographer.
Holding Maura close, she whispered, "How soon before we can leave?"
Maura leaned in even closer and replied, "I don't know, but you are going to get so lucky once I get you alone."
