Ch. 36 Reclamation of Trost
- Sorry for that lag I just took some time off posting the chapters to try to get ahead of the story -

"What you think Erwin wants anyway" she asks as she finished fixing her
"He probably wants details about the Titans or something"
We make our way back to wall Sheena where we found Odin laying on his back
"Wassup boy" I pat his belly
"HahhHaahh arff" he barks
"Aww whos a good boy" Krista begins playing with him as I head into Erwins tent where I found Eren, Armin, Mikasa and the rest of my squad at a table
"Wassup Captain" I throw my arm around Erwins shoulder
"Hey Kara" Petra waves
"Wassup" I smile
"It's Commander" Eld corrects me
"Yeah whatever"
"Anyways I need you to explain to me the abilities of these Titans" Erwin says
"Oh… well I don't remember much but all there was with the armored Titan was his armor"
I barely managed to crack it… even in my Titan form
"Then how'd you manage to drop him to his knees ?" Oluo asks
"His joints" I say "I noticed the only place he didn't have armor was there since he wouldn't be able to maneuver much if he was completely covered in armor"
"Hey yeah like 8th century knights used to have gaps in their armor so they can move around" Armin says
"Hmm yeah I guess so" I think
"What about the female Titan ?" Gunther asks
"She wasn't as strong but was faster and seemed to know what she was doing when it came to combat" I say "but she was able to like harden her skin… more like crystallize it"
"Wh-what do you mean ?" Eren asks
"Oh… well" I hold my hand out "like this" I focus my strength and energy in my palm before my forearm crystallizes
"Whoa since when can you ??" Petra asks before they examine my arm
"5 years ago I managed to dig my arm into the wall to pull myself up" I explain "I haven't had the chance to practice much since then so it isn't nearly as hard" smack the wall with my palm causing the crystal around my arm to shatter like glass
"Was that it about the female Titan ?" Eld asks
"Basically it was pretty easy to use the armored Titans weight against him but that female was agile in a class beyond the armored Titan"
"But what I don't get is why they decided to attack Karanes district wouldn't going directly to Trost have been a better idea ?" Levi asks
"Hmm" Armin thinks
"What ?" I ask
"I don't know I feel like they could've been looking for something" he says
"What would Titans like that want ?" Levi asks
"It doesn't make sense to me that they were looking for something" Eld agrees
"Think about it they attack Karanes but they move onto the next district after seeing what they want isn't there it makes total sense" Armin argues
"Kinda but what is it they want ?" Eren asks
"Think about it what two factors came into play on both scenes" Erwin says
"That's right both Kara and Eren transformed" Armin says
"Why would they care ?" Mikasa asks
"I'm not sure but they broke in through wall Rose and then lead a fleet of Titans to Trost making sure nobody escapes" Armin says
"Then that would mean" everyone looks at me
"Yeah they want Kara" Armin says
"Me ?"
The founding Titan
They're here for its power
But… what power ?
All I did was transform
"It's why they resorted on using their female Titan" Erwin says
"But why him ?" Petra asks
"We're not sure" Levi says
We used to think they were new 'intelligent' type
But now it's clear
Our enemies are human
And since they first attacked Karanes…
We have a mole
And its likely a cadet
The tension in the room was like no other
Everyone in this room was thinking the same thing
Knowing one of us… any of us could be the enemy was terrifying
"Wh-what is it ?" Eren asks feeling the tension in the air
"Tell me Eren who do you think the real enemy is?" Erwin asks
"W-well the Titans of course" he says "why ?" He asks
We all look at eachother
"Nothing" Erwin says
And after we all exchange glances one last time
"Alright that's enough" Erwin breaks the silence "I'll going over our plans with Levi" he says
"R-right" Armin says
"Why doesn't he tell Eren ?" Armin asks
"Cause knowing how trusting he is, he'll probably end up telling all the other cadets" I say under my breath
"You really think it's a cadet ?" Armin asks
"It's the easiest way to infiltrate our ranks" I mutter "there most likely only three of them one will shoot for MP while the other two stay nice and close to me and Eren" I add
"Y-yeah that's what I was thinking" Armin says "in that case a battle of two Titans inside the wall is almost inevitable"
"Who do you think is going to the MPs" I ask
"Hmm" he thinks for a second "well the female Titan" he says
"Why ?" I ask
"Well the colossal and armored need to be ready if there is ever a need to destroy a another wall so it'd make sense to keep them in the front lines" he says
"Right" I think
"But there really is no telling the female is more agile she could've strictly been for catching you"
"In any way we're still fucked" I sigh
"Yeah we're going to have to catch that female before anything" Armin says
"Yeah" I agree
We all leave making our way to where the cadets were stationed where Armin began introducing me to new recruits
"And that's Reiner and Annie" he says as we watched the two sparring
"What is it ?" Reiner asks
"You planning on squaring up with a Titan ?" I ask the two
"Heh" Reiner smiles "nah Annie's planing on becoming an MP" he says
"I asked him to spar with me a little before I go" Annie says
"R-right sorry for interrupting" Armin says
"It's fine" Reiner says before they get back to it
They could be the two
But then again most likely not
"Whoa so you're Kara huh ?!" The guy named Connie asks
"Yeah that's me" I smile
"Awesome 162 confirmed kills and 28 confirmed decapitations, you're the only soldier that's been able to completely decapitate a Titan"
"Yeah your kill count is even higher than the commander and captain Levi himself !!" That Sasha chick says
"Heh yeah" I chuckle
"How old are you anyways ? Connie asks
"17 why ?" I think
I don't feel much older
"Wow your not much older than us how awesome" Connie giggles
"Hey have you seen Krista anywhere ?" I ask
"Oh she was sent to patrol up wall sheena" Sasha says
"Aight thanks" I say before heading up
I look around making sure no one was around before I sit down beside her
"Oh hey Kara" she smiles as I throw my arm around her shoulder
"How you been girly" I pull her head into my arms
"Oh" she yawns "a bit sleepy" she says
"ahem* Listen" I clear my throat
"Yeah ?" She asks
"You ever think we'll be able to tell them what it's like outside the walls ?"
"What ?... oh I'm not sure" she sighs
"Out enemy's… I feel like they can be from Marley…"
"What ?!" She sits up "Marley ? Why would they be here ?" She asks
"I'm not sure… but I think it might have to do with the founding Titan I posses…" I clench my fist
"The amount of people that're gone… cause of me…" the thought was killing me
"Don't do that" she rests her head on my shoulder
"It would've happened whether or not you took that power from Frieda"
"Still… you think we'll ever be able to tell them the truth ? Not that I know much of the outside world myself but I'm sure you can"
"Well even in Marley I didn't know much myself" she slides her hand into mine "I was always alone… since I have royal blood the church made sure to never keep me in the same spot… it was hard but I had to manage on my own" she says
It was weird
I don't remember much of my past but I feel like there had always been something missing
"That's why I wanted to change my name here… I thought I could start over you know ?" She smiles widely
"Yeah…" I smile
Start over…
"Ugh man I'm tired" she yawns
"We'll probably be heading out first thing tomorrow" I yawn after hearing her do it
We lay back for a couple of hours till the sun began setting
"Heehee no way" she giggles after I told her about how I saw Odin snatching up kids
"Yes way" I giggle at the thought
"Well… at least he saved some of the little ones"
"Heh yeah" I chuckle
"You ever think you'd ever have kids ?" She asks
"Well… when we were outside the wall it'd figure I would with you… eventually"
"Oh… h-have you… changed your mind ?" She asks
"Heh what ?" I ask
"I said do you still want to have kids" she crawls ontop of my lap "with me ?" She asks
"Oh… I-I don't know dont you think we're still a little young ?" I ask
"Yeah" she sighs "I always wanted to be a mother… y-you know before I die and all" she says
"Heh yeah" I smile the way she said it sounded a bit silly but…
Well I don't know how I feel about being a dad
Never thought about it
Guess it'd be fun
"C'mon" she stands up
"What ?" I ask
"Carlas waiting for us" she says
"Carla ?" I haven't seen her in years
"Yeah she invited me for dinner and I thought I'd bring you"
"Oh… alright"
Ever since… well Grisha was pronounced dead she wouldn't look at me much less talk to me
"C'mon" she gets my attention
"Huh ? oh… yeah" we head back down meeting Odin at the bottom
From there we met up with Eren Mikasa and Armin and we all headed to where Carla had been staying
"Hey mom !!" Eren opens the door
"Eren honey your so big" Carla hugs him
But the smile on her face dissapears after seeing I came along with Krista
"C'mon ma at least say hi" Eren says
"Oh sorry… hey Kara" she smiles
"Yeah wassup Carla" I cross my arms before she goes off to the kitchen
"I'm gonna help her prepare everything" Krista says
"Aight" I smile
The rest of the day went smoothly I guess
Of course Carla refused to even look at me but I had gotten used to that so I ended up falling asleep on the couch with Krista

"In order for you to understand my beautiful techniques you must live through them first Kara" Lucifer says
"Ahh !! n-no you idiot y-you lying piece of shit!!" I try kicking him off me
"Yahhaha what are you talking about Kara ??" He laughs as he stops
"A-Asura you said you'd let her go y-you pig" I squirm around
"Hahaha and I did you idiot !! look at her !!" He points at Asura
She was face down with her ass high in the air in a puddle of her blood and Lucifers dirty semen unable to move a muscle after what he just done to her
"Yahhaha her stupid ass wanted to stay so I let her" he laughs
"Just stop !!" I spit in his face
He smiles "listen now what's about to happen to you boy" he grabs his favorite knife from the table
"I'm going to cut you right open and hang your inside for you to see" he smiles widely
"Nghk* p-please just stop"
"Haha don't worry you won't die today boy in fact I'll make sure you are conscious for every second of this shit buahhaha" he laughs before he began splitting me down the middle

"Nghk" I grab my abdomen
"Ah f-fuck" I sit up
My gut was burning
I make my way to the bathroom
It felt like someone was splitting me open
It hurt like hell
I turn on the lights to find a nasty rash

It was a scar that I hadn't seen till now
Was it always there ?

I lean back against the wall

"Gahd fuck m-man" I fold up cause of the pain
I can't breath
It felt like I'm dying
Am I dying ?
"Kara ?" I hear Krista knock at the door
Suddenly the pain stops
"Y-yeah ?" I sit up
"You okay in there ?" She asks
"Yeah j-just fine" I get to my feet
I open the door
I look down at Krista
"Oh hey" I smile
"Oh God when you get this ?" She sets her hand on my abdomen where I had just witnessed that scar appear out of nowhere
"Oh… I got it I during training" I lie
"Oh wow I can't believe I didn't notice till now"
"Heh c'mon we should get going" I grab her hand
"Right" she smiles before we head out meeting back up with Odin at camp
"Hey boy" I pat his nose before I go inside to meet Levi and Erwin
"Good morning Kara" Erwin says
"Yeah… morning" I yawn
"The day we reclaim Trost has finally arrived" he smiles
