"How're your electives going?" Eve was saying to Julia and Mari as they sat on the sand.
"I only have the one," Mari said first.
"I have the two and they're both the languages," Julia said jokingly before she was crying out as the other two were lightly splashing her. "Sorry, it sounded funny. And they're fine."
"Mine is too," Mari added.
"Are you going to take Spanish next year?" Julia asked. She was surprised when her friend hesitated then and she told her, "You don't want to?"
"I'm afraid I won't remember anything," Mari confessed.
"Guys," Castle called as he walked down to them. "The police are here."
"Dad!" Eve and Jacob said at the same time as they got up and hurried to him.
"Dada," Sophie said, laughing when her mother kissed her cheek.
"Hey, thanks for inviting me too," Brad said after he'd greeted his family. "Even though I'm so late."
"It's alright, this was just a little get together," Beckett said. She was going to add his wife and kids had been anxious to see him when her husband was suddenly making another announcement to her surprise.
"Also, dinner's here," Castle commented.
"And where is it?" Beckett asked her husband.
"We need to eat it inside," Castle commented.
"It's fondue," Nkosi said quickly. "My parents and I requested it."
"We ate it often back in Cape Town," Joseph said. "There was a restaurant near our home, Swiss food and that was something we always ordered."
Smiling when her husband looked at her, Bethany said, "It holds very fond memories as we started going there as soon as we moved to our home as newlyweds."
"Then we better go," David said. "Before the cheese gets cold."
"We need to light the candles under the pots," Castle said though they were getting ready to go back inside.
"Are we doing the same for dessert?" Julia asked her father after she had dried off and then put on her sundress.
"No, s'mores," Castle replied, smiling at her since he wasn't surprised she was asking about dessert already.
"Cool," Julia said before she hurried over to Mari and walked up to the house with her. "I wish we could keep doing this until it starts getting cooler."
"I know, but there is Halloween," Mari reminded her.
Laughing Julia said, "And Thanksgiving and Christmas."
"That too," Mari said as she was nodding rapidly before they were laughing heavily together while they were entering the house.
After they had split up to share the pots of fondue between two people each, Castle said to his wife, "I was going to order tea trays."
"I'm not surprised," Beckett said with a smile when she was dipping a piece of bread into their melted cheese.
"This is more fun," Brad commented with a smile as he was sitting with Lily to Castle's left at the dining room table. "Here," he said as he handed a piece of carrot to Sophie who was sitting on his wife's other side.
"How's she been doing?" Beckett asked.
"Good, she's getting walking down more," Lily said first. "Jake joked about having her race against Josie."
"Eliza said the same," Castle said after he'd briefly laughed. "But I'm sure they'll race against one another when they're older."
"That's what I told Jake," Brad said in amusement.
"How were your kids' day at school?" Beckett asked the chief and his wife.
"Good, Jake wasn't sure how high school would be," Lily said first. "But he told me once I saw them back at home that it was basically like eighth grade."
"Except no study hall," Brad said. "When he saw his schedule he was very disappointed."
"Did he have homework today?" Rebecca asked.
"He did, not a lot but he'll do it once we go home," Lily said as her husband was looking at her. "And we're leaving early since Eve has homework too."
"We'll do the same," David said. "Though Mari has study hall first tomorrow. Dani needs sleep for school."
Smiling Beckett said, "Julia's going to wait for tomorrow too."
"Is that a good idea though?" Rebecca asked.
"They'll have fifty minutes," Castle said. "Julia only has reading and math, but she said that was just a worksheet."
"Then I guess we won't force her to do it once we go home," Rebecca told her husband with a smile.
"Mari and Julia won't like you guys leaving so soon," Beckett commented with a smile.
"You think they'll ask to spend the night?" Nkosi asked.
"I think so," Castle said. "Likely Julia will ask Mari to stay," he added.
"This weekend?" Beckett asked.
"That's fine," David said. "We didn't really have plans for this weekend."
"That won't hold them though," Castle said.
"They can ask but that doesn't mean we'll be letting them," Beckett said simply. She then smiled and said, "But they'll try." She kept smiling as the others were laughing before she turned her attention to Josie since the baby was holding her hand out to her. She dipped a piece of ham in the cheese before she handed it to the baby, making sure she was already eating it before the others around the table were suddenly teasing her husband to her surprise though he was explaining what had happened.
"Apparently they can see at the end of the table, I dropped my bread," Castle told his wife.
"Does that mean you're kissing me?" Brad asked jokingly.
"No," Castle said simply and swiftly before he leaned over and kissed his wife on the lips. He had intended to be brief, but he couldn't help lingering before they were slowly parting.
"Quiet," Beckett said when Darnley had playfully whistled at them. "And go back to your food." She smiled when her friend saluted her with a smile and she turned her attention back to her food she had left, giving some of it to Josie who seemed to be enjoying the cheese when she and Castle were dipping everything in it. When they had finished, she wasn't surprised the kids were rushing over to the dining room and begging to go back down to the beach.
"Go ahead," Lily told her son and oldest daughter. "But we're leaving in an hour," she told them before holding her hand up as they began to protest. "We're leaving at eight because you two have homework and your sister will be asleep by then."
"So will we Mari," Rebecca told her oldest.
"But…" the girl started to say with a frown.
"Could she spend the night?" Julia asked her parents. "Please? We'll go to bed on time."
"Not tonight," Beckett said firmly, not surprised Castle was trying not to start laughing. "But we talked about it and Mari can spend the night Friday or Saturday."
Sighing, because she knew her mother was serious, Julia said to her friend, "I think we're going to have to wait."
"You said," Mari replied before they were laughing.
"Don't go swimming too far out!" Castle called to the kids.
"We'll help you guys clean up," Darnley said as they were starting to stand up.
"You don't really have to," Castle told him.
"Yeah but it makes us feel guilty," Brad said.
Laughing with them, Beckett got Josie out of her highchair and went over to her father saying, "Will you two take Josie and Sophie out?"
"We will," Jim said, looking at Martha and seeing she had Sophie. He took his youngest granddaughter and said, "Are you bringing out everything for dessert?"
"If you can you can go ahead and start the fire Jim," Castle told his father in law. Seeing him nodding before he was leaving, he stopped his wife from leaving the room.
"Rick, we can't really do anything right now," Beckett told him once they were alone, knowing why he'd done that.
"If it's quick though…" Castle started to say.
Rolling her eyes, Beckett said, "Maybe," though she didn't stop him from reaching for her and pulling her to him. They kissed gently and she was surprised when her husband let her go shortly after. "You must be sick," she told him teasingly.
"Not sick," Castle replied simply.
"Then hoping for more later," Beckett replied. "Pervert." She laughed softly when her husband nodded firmly and embraced him quickly before they left the room to help their guests with cleaning up so they could rejoin their kids and parents outside.

Hello again Evangeline!
I managed to get a chance to write today and though I have to go to bed soon Mom and Dad are letting me write again.
So I've been through my first day of school and it wasn't that bad. I mean, eighth grade isn't that different from seventh, the only thing was no P.E. so just that little bit and it didn't matter. But the best thing about eighth grade is that Mari is in the middle school building with me, and we have Study Hall together! Of course, we couldn't talk that much and had to whisper but it was still the best.
I know you're wondering Evangeline about my teachers and I'm very happy to write that they're all nice. I think Mr. Matsuoka is the funniest since he uses words in Japanese to keep us interested. And it's funny, I recognized some and when he asked, I told him about Skye and Mary and he was impressed since he knows about Skye of course. Another thing is that Ms. Aston saw my dance with Lizzy and Mari back in Spain (Dad posted it on his and Mom's site) and she knows my books. Also, my Spanish teacher and Mr. Matsuoka saw the dance too, so I guess I'm popular? But it doesn't matter, it's going to be interesting seeing how classes go this year!
Julia was about to continue when her phone rang, and she picked it up since it was on her desk. "Hello?" she said with a smile.
"You know it's me!" Mari said teasingly. "Are you writing in your diary?"
"Yeah, but I'm not writing that much now; I wrote more this morning before school," Julia answered. She was about to ask what was wrong when her friend was speaking rapidly on the other end of the phone.
"I was just calling to ask are we going to walk to school ahead of everyone for sure now?" Mari said.
"Yeah, I asked my parents and they said it was fine," Julia replied. She smiled and then told her friend, "You didn't think I wanted to?"
"No, it was more because today was for me finding all my classes," Mari replied.
"We'll have to go a little bit early," Julia said. "But we can walk around outside or in the hall until we have to go to Study Hall."
"That would be nice," Mari replied.
"Was that your mom?" Julia asked, hearing a voice in the background on her friend's end.
"Yeah, she told me to get to my diary if I said I was going to write in it," Mari said, obviously smiling. "I better go."
"Yeah, we'll meet outside at seven fifty-five?" Julia asked.
"Sure," Mari said, after pausing for a moment. "Sorry, I forgot that they moved the time school starts to eight fifteen."
"I know, but luckily they did," Julia said.
"Then I'll see you at seven fifty-five," Mari said.
After saying goodnight to her friend, Julia hung up the phone and turned back to her diary, checking to see if she had ink still before she wrote again.
I don't really want to write for too long about school, just because I already did it this morning. Plus, I lost a little time talking with Mari on the phone. She and I walked around early this morning and we want to keep meeting early though she knows how to get to her classes. So we'll just walk slow together and talk which will be fun!
After school was of course my class and Ms. Grey saw the clip too, she had me, Lizzy and Mari dance it and it was so fun! We practiced ballet and I enjoyed doing that, since there still aren't too many of the others who dance en pointe like me, Peter and Mari do. Lizzy doesn't really want to do it, but I don't blame her since she doesn't really want to be a dancer like I do. Funny though, she told me she's not sure she wants to be a vet now, we've watched vet shows and she gets so sad when things go really wrong. She was worried Mom and Dad would be disappointed, but they told her when she eventually told them they don't care. As long as what we want to do isn't illegal or hurts us or anyone else it's fine. So Lizzy is just waiting to see what else she wants to do, though she is sure about being a writer like me. I told her she should learn to ride horses professionally and she likes the idea. But she's only six so we'll see of course.
Anyways, after we came home, I didn't have to do homework (reading for history and a worksheet for math) since I have Study Hall first tomorrow and I did my French homework in Study Hall today. We had everyone over, and we spent time on the beach since it's still warm enough and the sun didn't go down until a little bit before seven thirty. Dinner was fun, we had fondue and I shared my pot with Mari, we played with our forks, but she dropped her bread and with the rules there are she had to kiss my cheek. Then Jake dropped his and had to kiss Maddy's cheek which he did super-fast and pretended that he had been a frog that turned into a prince and it made Maddy laugh. We swam and had s'mores after and though it felt like summer we had to stop early since most of us kids have school.
And because of that I need to stop writing, Mom and Dad are here and I know it's nearly time for me to sleep. So I'll do my best to write to you tomorrow Evangeline, goodnight!
Finishing her entry, Julia was quick in getting everything put away before she turned her attention to her parents, her mother speaking first to her unasked question that had been on the tip of her tongue.
"You still have time sweetie," Beckett told her.
"She's right," Castle said, holding up his left wrist. "And you never told us about school."
"I didn't have the chance," Julia replied with a wide smile.
"Now you do," Beckett said simply.
"I know," Julia told her mother with a laugh. She then told her parents about what had occurred, hurrying past what had happened before her English class had started. When she finished, she said, "I don't mind she said that, Ms. Aston. She was nice and like I said she didn't really talk only to me, just when I had my hand up."
"What if she asks you to sign a copy of your book?" Castle asked her.
Julia thought for a moment and then said, "It's okay if I do that right?"
"It is," Beckett said. "Why are you looking at me?" she asked her husband then.
"Just to see what you would say," Castle said, laughing when she pinched him. He wrapped his arm around her waist and then said, "We're glad you're enjoying your classes so far."
"Me too," Julia said. "And I'm glad we have more people in our group."
"Us too," Castle said. "Always nice to have a lot of friends."
"But Mari's still going to be my best friend," Julia told them with a wide smile. After her parents had laughed softly, she asked them, "Were you able to start your book?"
"We were," Beckett said with a nod. "We wrote a little into the first chapter, but we have more to go."
"We had to write down the details for us to remember," Castle said.
"What about my book?" Julia asked.
"When do you want to write in it again?" Beckett asked.
"If Mari doesn't come too early," Julia said slowly. "On Saturday?"
"That would be fine, but we just have to see what we'll be doing," Beckett replied.
"Did they get more of the room done?" Julia asked suddenly.
Smiling, as she knew her daughter was asking about the pool room, Beckett said, "We talked to the foreman after we came back from the school. The cement is set in the pool and they'll be working on the slide next before they finish closing in the wall of the building."
"Cool," Julia said. "They're not going to finish early, are they?"
"If there's no other problems then we might have your birthday there," Castle said.
Seeing Julia's hesitant expression, Beckett told her, "Don't worry, it could still be thirties themed if you want it to be."
"That's true, The Great Gatsby had a pool in it," Castle told Julia, smiling when she and his wife started to laugh.
"I don't think I want it themed to that," Julia replied. "Or wear a bathing suit from then either."
"I don't want you to," Beckett said. She smiled then as Julia was looking at her in surprise and she said, "You wouldn't like it."
"Oh… well I want to have the party in the house. Let's use it for Josa's birthday," Julia said.
"We will," Beckett replied. She looked at her watch and was about to speak before Julia was starting to protest immediately.
"Don't say it's time for me to go to bed!" the girl said.
"It's not," Beckett told her, smiling as Julia breathed out in relief. "But what would you like to do until then?"
"I don't know," Julia admitted, looking around her room. She spotted a book on her desk and said, "What about my diary?"
"You want to read it?" Beckett asked. She wasn't surprised when her daughter nodded rapidly and said, "Go ahead and grab it."
"Oh good, I want to see it," Castle commented. "Is that still your first one?"
Nodding Julia said, "I've been focusing on other books."
"I don't blame you," Beckett said with a smile. "And we had vacation too."
Julia nodded, stepping up to her bed by then and about to sit to her mother's right when her father grabbed her gently and pulled her around to in between them. She gave him a look but was soon after starting to laugh as he was simply beaming at her. She kissed his cheek and hugged him before she said, "Okay, this one is on Easter before I turned thirteen." When her parents both nodded to her she laughed in surprise and told them, "You were supposed to say what ages my sisters were Dad."
"Oh, sorry I didn't know you wanted that," Castle said quickly. "You were of course almost thirteen like you said, Eliza was going to turn eight in September, Alexis seven in October and of course Josie was already five. Now read, I want to know how it was!"
Giggling softly, Julia said, "Okay, okay." She turned her attention to the book and then started to read to her parents, starting with the date she had written as neatly as she could.
April 21st, 1935
There! If that wasn't perfect penmanship then Miss Pederson is a stinker!
I suppose I shouldn't have written that first. It is a holiday, so a very Happy Easter to you!
Now today was a lot of fun, swell and perfect as well since we were all together once we had gone to church. I didn't really mind going, I got to wear my new Easter bonnet that Ma made me, it was more a hat but a swell hat. My sisters all had new hats too and dresses; Ma's was the prettiest in robin's egg blue, Da enjoyed it greatly.
Laughing at that, Castle said, "I remember that dress love, you looked beautiful in it." He then turned to Julia and said, "You and your sisters looked great too."
"Thanks Dad," she replied with a smile. She was laughing again when her parents were both urging her to continue, and she started the next paragraph.
After we came home my aunts and uncle were here; along with Grandma; and Uncle Patrick played with us in the back since it wasn't raining which we were all very happy about! We played croquet and it was so fun as we were playing jokes and teasing Uncle Patrick. He's a sport and he was playing along with everything since he was making sure we were behaving. Eventually Da came out to play too and it was even more fun since he and Uncle Patrick were playing jokes and making all of us sisters laugh.
"What?" Castle said laughingly as his wife was looking at him.
"You two didn't stop doing that," Beckett told him in mock annoyance. "But I am glad you got along so well since it would have been really hard for the family if you didn't."
"He was a friend," Castle replied with a shrug. He turned to their daughter and said, "Okay, keep going sweetheart."
Julia merely smiled, going to the next paragraph and reading it quickly though her parents didn't interrupt her again as she finished the entry.
We had the most delicious dinner, early since we only had some bread and cheese for lunch (an Irishman's meal Da called it). And it was fun to have all together since we haven't seen everyone from the city for more than a week. There wasn't much to say, though the last party at the club was swell according to the aunts and Uncle Patrick. But Grandma didn't want us talking about the club, well, the younger children anyway since I've known about the club of course. Though we've all been to the club since we've played on the beach so many times.
After we had our dinner we listened to records, dancing together, and Ma and Da got to dance as well. Of course, Aunt Rose and Aunt Mary danced together, Uncle Patrick danced with Josephine since Alexandra was with me and Elizabeth. We had to stop so the youngest could go to bed and I remained in the living room until Grandma sent me up to my room.
Oh! Ma just stuck in her head; I must say goodnight to all so we may go to bed. Goodnight!
Julia looked up at her parents and said, "I guess that was all I could write. It's hard to really write about a croquet game and much about dinner."
"I know," Beckett said. When her daughter started to smile, she said, "I have short entries."
"Me too," Julia said. "Really fast. Here's one from the beginning of the month, April second. Horrible rain, far too much homework, I feel as if I'm unwell."
"You were sick with a little cold after that," Beckett said.
Nodding her head rapidly Julia said, "I don't write again until the fourteenth but it's another short entry. I'm much better now, have had a cold from snotty Prentice in school and only now feel like I can write. But alas (as Da taught me say), I have too much homework and must catch up with school. I will write more tomorrow!" She smiled at her parents went she finished and told them, "I'm glad I'm writing in a diary now."
"Did you have a crush back then?" Castle asked her suddenly.
"Rick," Beckett said firmly.
"No, it's okay Mom," Julia said hurriedly. She turned back to her father and said, "I don't know, in this diary I don't think I do because I know I can read it. But maybe the next one I'll have to not read."
"What will you do if that's the case?" Beckett asked her daughter.
Smiling at her mother Julia hugged her old diary to her chest and said, "I don't know. I have to wait and see."
"Okay," Beckett said, motioning to her husband as she was standing up.
Giving the most exaggerated sigh she could, Julia then laughed with her parents before she said, "I couldn't help it. But thanks for letting me read my other entries."
"Not a problem," Castle said, wrapping his arm around her shoulders. "I love you sweetheart."
"I love you too Dad," Julia told him, hugging him tightly. She smiled as he embraced her back and then said, "Would you care if I walk early to school with Mari?"
"We talked about it already and we said it was fine," Castle told her, knowing Beckett was expecting him to answer. "And you're growing up so…"
"You don't want me to?" Julia asked with a smile as she let go of him.
"Of course not, but you're becoming more like your mom as you do so that's fine with me," Castle replied.
"Rick," Beckett groaned under her breath though she was soon smiling at the two while they were laughing together.
"Thanks Dad," Julia said, watching him sit back on the edge of her bed. She hugged him tightly around the neck before they shared a quick kiss and she then said, "Have you been reading more of Mom's diaries?"
"Here and there," Castle replied as she wasn't letting him get up.
"Does she talk about you?" Julia asked.
"Constantly," Beckett said, smiling at her husband when the two turned to her.
"She's not kidding," Castle said. "And if I had a diary back then I would have written about her too."
"Like what?" Julia asked as her father had her get on the bed once he'd stood up.
"That she was sweet; we were young remember; and as we grew older she was hot," Castle said.
Putting her hand to her face at that, Beckett said, "Rick."
"Sorry," Castle said to Julia.
"Oh, I don't care," the girl said. "It's better you think that you know."
"I do now too," Castle assured her before he smiled at her and got out of the way of his wife so they could put their daughter to bed.
Beckett glanced back at her husband with a smile as he had rapidly squeezed her hand, turning to Julia and sitting on the edge of the bed. "I love you too sweetie, and I really hope you'll get enough sleep."
"I will, don't worry," Julia replied. "I just can't help thinking of making sure I'm ready so Mari doesn't have to wait for me."
"You'll be fine," Beckett said. She shared a hug with her daughter before they shared a kiss and she said, "I love you Julia, sweet dreams alright?"
Nodding, Julia told her, "I love you too Mom. Will you write more tomorrow?"
"We will," Beckett said, glancing at her husband who quickly nodded. She then turned back to their daughter and said, "Say goodnight to the dogs."
"Oh, right," Julia said, turning to Macca and JoJo on the end of her bed. She hugged them and kissed the tops of their heads before going back to her mother. She gave her a tight hug before she got under the bed sheet and laid down, letting her mother tuck her in. "Night Mom, Dad," she told her parents.
"Night Julia," Castle said first. "We'll see you in the morning."
"Night sweetie," Beckett said, smiling as Julia waved at them. She let her husband take her hand, going to the doorway where she turned off the room's lights as their second oldest was closing her eyes and turning to sleep. Her husband gently tugged at her fingers, and they were walking down the hall to their room as she looked at him, wondering what was going through his mind as they didn't say a word to one another.
Slamming into his wife as hard as he could, Castle could hear their hips slapping together though it was muffled slightly by their clothing. He reminded himself to try and have them make love at least one more time before they slept but his attention was ripped away from that as they were climaxing. He was calling her name, and he wasn't sure how long he was still thrusting in her before he stopped, and it felt as if his legs were going to end up collapsing. "Kate," he breathed out to her as he tried to thrust again. His wife was stopping him before she was speaking gently and caressing the back of his head.
"Let me down love," Beckett told her husband tenderly. She was relieved when he was able to do so, though they had to part completely, and she said with a smile, "You didn't give us much time."
"You were aroused," Castle told her seriously.
Cupping his face with her hands Beckett said, "Don't worry, I was when we walked into the room."
"So I can do that again," Castle replied.
"Yes," Beckett said with a soft laugh since her husband had had her enter their room so he could close and lock the door. Once that had been done, he'd raced after her while she walked to the bathroom and slipped his hand under her bikini bottoms though he'd had to go beneath her sundress to do so.
"Could we… undress?" Castle asked, about to ask her to make love again before he stopped himself and then addressed their clothes instead.
"I think I need to," Beckett replied, reaching for the tie of her dress. She opened it and let it slip to the floor before she was removing the top of her bikini. With that on top of her discarded sundress, she said to her husband, "You're not going to undress?" with a smile.
"Not yet," Castle said seriously. He was immensely pleased to see her turning her attention to the bottom of her bikini and removing it before she tossed it aside. When she turned to him, he said, "I can take care of myself."
"I was going to insist," Beckett said, going to the table that was behind the headboard of their bed. Her husband had taken her against the wall next to their closet door and she said, "You're lucky we weren't in a hotel."
Pausing as he was about to take off his shirt he'd worn after the beach Castle said, "So the position meets your approval?"
"Met," Beckett began teasingly as she was smiling at him. "And yes, it was very nice."
"Mind if we try another?" Castle asked, taking off his jeans and swim trunks at the same time.
"No," Beckett said, seeing the extent of his lingering desire and unable to deny him that. But, as she walked around to the bed, she couldn't deny she wanted more herself because she could feel her husband's release within her. She shook herself when he was taking her hand and looking at him asked, "What do you want love?"
"I think it's your turn," Castle said simply.
Smiling, Beckett moved to get onto the bed and she drew her husband after her before she was wrapping her arms around him. They kissed passionately before they were moving to lay down as she pulled him with her so their kiss wouldn't end until they were breathless. "I just want you to fuck me Rick," she told him once she could speak.
"Are you sure? I could make love to you," Castle pointed out to her.
"I'm very sure," Beckett said, moving her hands from his back before raising them above her head on her pillow. "I want you rough against me," she told him, arching her back so her hips brushed against him. "Fuck me lover. Now."
At her command, Castle was racing to move so he could enter her, soon after sliding into her and they were groaning in pleasure together at the sensation. When they were fully coupled, he groaned her name before he began to move. As his wife had asked him to do, he was going as fast as he could, making their hips slam together as they'd been before. For some reason it came to mind he'd taken her fast twice, but he couldn't dwell on that when his attention was drawn back to his wife swiftly.
When Beckett orgasmed, she was holding onto her husband with her arms and legs while her nails were digging into his back. She could feel his pleasure when he was following her and filling her for a second time and making her eyes roll into the back of her head. It came as a shock when everything seemed to stop abruptly, and when it did that she was feeling her husband still thrusting and spilling his seed in her. "Rick," she murmured to him as he was soon still, and she kissed the top of his head while he buried his face into her neck.
"Love," Castle said, moving himself so he could take her lips. They kissed deeply and for some time until they were breathless, and he finally forced himself to pull away before he said, "Do you want more?"
Beckett hesitated for a moment before she then told him, "I want to, but we need to sleep."
"Right," Castle said. "I'm still in Adare."
"I know, I almost was too," Beckett replied with a smile. She lost that when her husband was gently moving away from her and she sighed as she felt him leave her sex. "But," she quickly told him. "I'd like to take a bath."
"Sure," Castle said enthusiastically.
Beckett smiled at her husband's eagerness before she followed him off the bed and into their bathroom. She let Castle grab the towels they needed before they were stepping into the shower stall to rinse off. She wasn't surprised when her husband was gently touching her but was when she found she wasn't really telling him to stop. She tried to make herself tell him they couldn't do anything as they were leaving the shower but found she didn't really want to while she was walking to the tub.
"Are you cold?" Castle asked, looking up at his wife as they were waiting for the water to fill it.
"No," Beckett said quickly, so he wouldn't try to discern what she was thinking at that moment. She then smiled at him and said, "It's still August."
"Not for long," Castle said. "In two days we're in September and I'm just saying that because it's two days."
Beckett laughed softly before she said, "I know, but I'm fine."
Castle was going to comment on that, but he had to turn off the water since the tub was nearly filled as far as he wanted, and he stood before his wife was pointing to the tub. Without a word he got in first, trying not to betray his excitement at that when he went down until he was chin deep.
"You're not getting underneath?" Beckett asked with a smile as she waited for him to straighten out.
"Not really," Castle said, reaching out to her to take her hand. He held it tightly while she was getting in with him and he held her to his chest when she leaned back against him. He nuzzled the side of her head before he murmured, "What do you think?"
"About what?" Beckett asked, glancing back at him and smiling.
"That we do this for Moor and Green," Castle replied, kissing her ear through her hair. "Have them return to their hut-"
"Call it a room Rick," Beckett said in amusement.
"Okay, okay," Castle said in mock annoyance. "They get back, have a drink and sit looking out at the water after the weird dinner they're going to have."
"Are they talking?" Beckett asked with a smile.
"Not at first," Castle told her, smiling. "And then they'll talk a little about the other guests they've met. A lot of attention on the two having the affair."
"Do you think we should?" Beckett asked her husband.
"I…" Castle started to say slowly. "Well, I guess you have a point since they're just married. But what if we had them talk about the disgusting married couple?"
Laughing softly, Beckett said, "Briefly and please have them tease each other."
"I was thinking that would be best," Castle told her reassuringly. "So they talk about that and Moor teases Green into skinny dipping."
"For how long?" Beckett asked him with a smile while she turned slightly so she could look at her husband.
"Long enough," Castle said. "Though we'll have to be brief in our description."
"Should we have them make love there?" Beckett asked.
"What do you think?" Castle replied quickly.
Thinking about that for a moment, Beckett said honestly, "I had no set plans when I did that our first time here. But if things had led up to that we would have. As for them… no I think we should have them talk about having a bath."
"You guessed?" Castle asked with a smile since he'd been planning to lead up to that for the two characters.
"I figured it out," Beckett corrected him with a smile. "Rick?"
"Hmm," Castle asked, kissing the top of her shoulder.
"They're making love there?" Beckett said.
"I think," Castle began to say slowly. "We should have them go to the bed…"
"The big four poster with sheer material?" Beckett asked him. When her husband nodded, she smiled and turned fully so she could share a kiss with him. "You know, I think we should be heavily descriptive."
"Because it's their consummation?" Castle asked her. When she nodded, he was a little startled when she appeared hesitant and he said, "Tell me, is it a position?"
Shaking her head, Beckett leaned in to kiss him briefly before she pulled away and said simply, "Their conversation after." She hadn't been sure what he'd think of that idea, so she was relieved when he was speaking rapidly after and assuring her.
"Cuddling? If that's what you want them to do then I agree," Castle replied. He was going to say more when his wife was laughing softly, making him laugh before he kissed the side of her head.
"It was more their conversation," Beckett then said. "But if we write what they're feeling while they do that, we can head into them talking together."
"Should there be a smart-ass comment from Moor?" Castle asked her.
Beckett was about to say that it would likely work but hesitated, not surprised when he said her name in slight concern. "No, I'm thinking of the first time we did that," she said, glancing at him.
"Do you want to have that be the same in the book?" Castle said.
"Sort of," Beckett said, smiling as she recalled teasing him regarding his insistence about their marriage being consummated. "It would work for Green to tease him, though there's no baby to talk about yet," she added.
Nodding, recalling that they had spoken about her pregnancy, Castle said, "Should we have them discuss having kids at all in this book?"
"Maybe at the end," Beckett replied. "After the case and once she tells him she's pregnant."
"End the book with them on the beach and talk about that but have them move to their room to make love?" Castle asked her. When she nodded, he said, "Okay, that's enough of that."
Beckett was startled at that and she gasped as he made her turn enough so they could kiss, which she was hurrying to respond to. Once they had stopped, she said, "What did you want to do?"
"Sit back against me," Castle told her, having her lean against his chest. He reached for her breasts, lightly caressing them while his wife was moaning in her pleasure. He lightly fondled her nipples, doing that for a little before she was breathing out his name.
"Rick… you don't have to," Beckett told him, looking back at him.
"I want to love," Castle reassured her as he cupped her breasts in his hands gently. He then slid his hands down her body until he had reached her hips and then moved to slip his hand in between her legs she had spread apart.
Beckett's back arched slightly when her husband was very lightly fingering her clit and she moaned his name while he was soon stroking her. "Oh! Uh… Rick… you… what about… about you!" she managed to say.
"Don't worry," Castle said simply. "I'll take care of you love," he whispered into her ear, nuzzling it through her hair.
Though she wanted to point out it wasn't fair; and that she wanted her own turn; Beckett decided she couldn't really stop him as his fingers had moved lower. They were lightly stroking at her folds and she gasped and sighed since he was extremely gentle with them. She felt she could climax just from that light touch but forced herself to distract herself by wrapping her arms up and around him. She moved her legs as well since he was starting to slip his fingers within her sex. She placed them flat on the bottom of the tub on either side of her husband's legs and gasped out, "Good?"
"As long as it is for you," Castle said, hoping she couldn't feel his erection throbbing against her ass since he soon felt how her position was affecting her sex with his fingers within her. Feeling her clenching at him as he remained still, he breathed out, "Kate."
"Please stop Rick," Beckett begged him. "I want something else."
Castle hesitated before he finally nodded and said, "Okay, but…" trailing off as he moved his hands away from her. When she turned away from him, he saw she was biting slightly at her lower lip. He couldn't stop himself and leaned into her, kissing her deeply as he held her against his chest. When they parted, he moved down to her neck, nipping a little at her pulse to her moan of joy. "Here," he said, trying to get her to sit on the shelf that was above the back of the tub.
"No," Beckett said firmly.
"No?" Castle asked in surprise.
Shaking her head, Beckett wrapped her arms around him and shared a brief kiss with him before she was going to the other end of the tub. She drained the water a bit until it was a little less than half full. She then gently pushed at her husband, moving him out of the way before she was about to lay on the back of the tub. Her husband grabbed her, and she groaned saying, "Now what?"
"Not like this," Castle replied, getting out of the tub. He was a little startled when his wife was moving to sit on the shelf first and his eyes widened as she spread her legs apart as wide as she could against the wall to her right.
"Come here love," Beckett told him sternly when he wasn't moving. She laughed softly when he rushed to her and she wrapped her arms around him before stretching her legs down and placing them flat on either side of the tub. She had been about to tell her husband to fuck her when he started doing that and she held onto his back as tightly as she could. She was trying not to slide on the marble there, but she was able to stay with her husband's weight on her. She was eventually moving her legs again, wrapping them around his waist until she was breaking, crying out his name heavily before he shouted hers and they were together in their ecstasy. She was a little lost, feeling his release in her joining the heavy throbs of her sex and his length, and when she was finally still, she was breathing roughly though relishing her husband still thrusting in her.
Giving a last, rough, move of his entire body, Castle let out a heavy curse in Irish and he asked his wife worriedly, "Are you okay? You didn't hit your head?"
"I didn't," Beckett replied with a smile since she knew he was thinking of their still slick bodies. She moved up so she could kiss him tenderly and when they soon parted, she told him, "Thank you for that; I needed it."
"I've been doing that repeatedly," Castle reminded her. He couldn't stop himself from shuddering roughly at the smile that spread across her lips. He was about to ask her if he could make love to her when his wife was speaking first with a smile.
"I'm guessing that means we're making love next?" Beckett asked him.
"If you don't want to…" Castle trailed off teasingly.
Beckett laughed briefly and then told him, "Let's go back to bed."
Breathing out hard, Castle was careful in withdrawing from her and helping her up before he was stepping out to get a towel. They dried each other off and he was reaching for her; intending to pick her up; when she made him stop. "Oh, come on love," he said.
"I can walk love," Beckett said, leaning over and kissing his cheek. She walked ahead of him and was nearly to their bed when she was letting out a short cry as her husband picked her up.
"Going to punish me?" Castle asked as he set her down on the mattress.
"Come here," Beckett said, pulling him by his arm as he was laughing. She was too when he got up and grabbed her and she let him instigate what would become wrestling between them all over their bed. When they stopped, she was below him and she said, "You know that means you decide."
"Great, I already have," Castle told her seriously before he kissed her, literally crushing her lips with his own. While their tongues were beginning to tangle together, he was moving slightly to slide inside of her slowly.
While her husband was making love to her, Beckett wrapped her legs around his waist and crossed her feet. She held him tightly as they were soon moving together, and she was moaning in joy and kissing him repeatedly until they were climaxing together eventually. She smiled when her husband moved away from her, laying on his back and she pressed against his side murmuring, "I love you Rick."
"I love you too Kate," Castle said as he turned to her. They shared a gentle kiss then and he held her close until he spoke and said, "Do we need to stop?"
Laughing softly, Beckett shook her head and said, "No," pulling him on top of her before they kissed deeply. She was overjoyed as they coupled again, wondering if they would have enough while the night grew later with them devoting themselves fully to their pleasurable intimacy.
