Chapter 35: Showing Blue Hyperdrive City

"Watch out, Blue!" I yelled as I was about to launch right into her.

"Kaze?! OH CRAP!"

*SLAM*

*THUD*

As we came out of the portal and arrived into Hyperdrive City, we both crashed into each other without warning but luckily there was no pain from either one of us. I allowed Blue to go in the portal first so that I can bring the telecator with me to Hyperdrive City. It was just expected to happen since we went through a portal.

Looks like we're gonna have to get used to these sorts of things until we can find a way to stop crashing into each other. Maybe I'll ask Lunia.

"*moan* Did you have to crash into me like a truck?" Blue said while trying to get ourselves up.

"S-Sorry. This just happened to me and my mom when we first got here." I said.

"That portal is really something el— wha…"

As Blue turned away from the portal, she gave out her shocking reaction to her first look at this place. It turned out that I was right when I said that she was going to be mind-blown when she first got here. In fact, I'm hoping that there's gonna be a lot of people that are going to have that same reaction when they first reach here because I know it's a really cool dimension to begin with.

"So this is…Hyperdrive City?" Blue asked as she didn't know what to say about it.

"Yeah. Everything here is futuristic. It's sorta familiar to Sci-fi, although I haven't learned about it in the past." I said.

"I see. So you weren't kidding when you said this is a really cool dimension."

"Well it's Lunia that created this. Or… I'm not sure who created it, but I'm sure she builded all of this to make the environment itself more fascinating to explore."

"I never thought it would be THAT fascinating before. This is much more like something Lucas and Xavier would be into."

"Possibly. I believe they would be staying here all day. Not that I would want that since there's going to be a lot of stuff going on."

"I agree, honestly. I don't think those two are into Sci-fi but if we were to show them this dimension, then they wouldn't have to leave this place forever due to the amount of cars, electronics, all that sort of stuff."

"Well… do you think there's anything that seems interesting to you?" Blue asked while still looking at this place while being silent.

"Hmm… there's a lot of things in this place to talk about, so I can't decide on that. It's a huge list in other words." I said.

"Well, there's gotta be at least one I should say. You came to this dimension before, right?"

"Yeah, but there's this one thing I tried which is like telling you a story, so I couldn't possibly…"

"Welcome Back, Miss Kaze."

We then heard a woman's voice which was a little bit loud because of the audio. And it was not a human voice. It sounded like it was on some intercom.

"Who's that voice coming from?" Blue asked, looking a little confused.

"I have no idea. It's a newer voice, and it's not Lunia." I said.

"That's right. You haven't recognized me yet. Allow me to reveal myself."

There were digital cubes coming from below and they all started to create a shape of a human body. But what was created altogether wasn't just some human body…

Ok it looks like a human body, but it was actually a robot body. A "Woman" robot body.

"Who… are you?!" Blue asked while looking surprised at this robot.

"I am what is known as a SHESR, which stands for Synthetic Humanoid Elite Supersoldier Robot. I was created by Dr. Lotus, and not only do I exist but other robots here in Hyperdrive City as well." The robot said.

"There are others like you?!" I asked, looking shocked.

"Dr. Lotus has always been the mastermind to creating robots like us and making us turn realistic like you humans. We've been around Hyperdrive City for around 7 to 9 years and we're still in very good condition. Fortunately, more robots are being created and tested out so there will be higher chances that you will see a single robot."

"So… what made you become a… SHESR then?"

"Yeah, I'm really curious to know about this too." Blue said.

"I have not only the ability to use weapons and explosives in order to fight, but the ability to gather all the intel and pieces of information that we receive from different dimensions and other people whenever we are on an important mission. So for instance, I assume you two want to know more information about these legendary stones."

"Well, you're close. Only my friend wants to know about the stones." I said.

"I see. Apologies for making such an error."

"No no, you didn't need to blame yourself. It was just… I only came here to figure out this stone situation myself." Blue said.

"I see. Well in that case, newcomer, you are more than welcome to hear us out on our journey to stopping a major apocalypse occurring in several days."

"Thank you, Miss. My name is Blue Mackenzie by the way. You can just call me Blue."

"And you may call me Cordelia. That is my actual name after all."

"Huh. So no last name. Well you are a SHESR after all so it does make sense."

"Anyway, have you seen Lunia?" I asked the robot now named Cordelia.

"She is located at her base. Do you two need a ride over there?"

"Yeah, but… her base is too far and we don't know how long it will take to get over there."

"Do not worry. I have this one covered."

Cordelia then was going through her wrist and starting tapping her little watch thing. I wasn't sure what that was, but after she did a little bit more tapping, what spawned here was a portal that might lead to her base.

"Another portal?! Wait, it leads you straight over there?" I asked while I stopped being surprised after I noticed that it was not the same portal as last time.

"That's correct. This computer wrist that I currently have can create portals to other locations only in Hyperdrive City. I have no idea, however, if it could access portals to dimensions since we're still working on those."

"This Hyperdrive City dimension is getting more and more wicked. I don't know about Sci-Fi, but if these portals are the key to help us get to where we need to be, then it would be really best I actually know about this place more." Blue said.

"Yeah, I would recommend it as well. Although I'm a little nervous getting to meet these characters that are in different dimensions." I said.

"Have you two ever played video games before?" Cordelia asked.

"Rarely. I play a little bit of Nintendo games." Blue said.

"I just play only Pac-Man. I'm really good at it." I said.

"I see. Well, I suppose you two are going to be traveling in dimensions that involve games. One of which is not of them. And that's Japan."

"Well, I knew all of that. Blue doesn't know about it."

"Yeah, I need to know about these dimensions first before I can understand the stones." Blue said.

"Very well. I'm pretty sure Lady Lunia would fill you in on the details. However, it's going to be a very long explanation."

"Oh, that's fine. I can handle a very long explanation."

"Are you sure? You might get bored over it." I asked while being a little bit concerned about Blue.

"Don't worry, Kaze. Remember when we went through an agreement? That I would help you along the way with the stones? I have to know about this stuff so I can really understand what is going on here. Including our world."

"Yeah, but… Gah… Very well, then. We did make an agreement and I don't want to mess it all up, so we'll fill you in." I said as I gave in.

"Are you two ladies ready?" Cordelia asked the both of us.

"Yeah, we're ready. Let's go." I said.

We've made it inside Lunia's base and it was still the same result of last time I've been in her lab. No one here, the same electronics that she has. One thought came into my mind that I actually forgot to bring up the first time when I arrived here.

I wonder why she doesn't have soldiers or guards here. She has to have protection at her own base if she wants this place and herself perfectly in good condition. Although her place is hidden as well.

"This place is nice and huge. No wonder how Lunia has all these really cool stuff and we don't." Blue said.

"I'm surprised you knew that, Miss Blue." Cordelia said. "Although this is my fourth time inside here, This place has all the electronics in stock that you get to see. Think of this place as a museum. You would see everyone computers, phones, flat screens, all that other stuff."

"Do you have one that you like, Cordelia?" I asked.

"Unfortunately, I do not have one that seems interesting to me the most since I haven't been through all of the electronics. I would really want to check all of them out, but I would prefer having to work under Lunia. Normally, she doesn't want me to push myself and do everything that she says, but since I was created, I now have to do everything that she says in order to survive as a robot."

"I don't think Lunia wants you to push yourself extremely hard. That could create stress problems for you and I think you'll start to change into a woman who doesn't want to listen to anyone else but Lunia." I said.

"Yeah, Kaze is right. We know that you are nice and all, and you take work and training seriously which is great. But don't you think pushing yourself too hard would change the way you are now? You were nice to us before." Blue asked.

"Should I not work too hard?" Cordelia asked.

"Not at all. Lunia likes your seriousness when she asks you to do something. You don't have to push yourself at doing what others tell you to do. You can just… do it normally." I suggested.

"But I don't want to lose trust in Lunia. I believe she would get furious at me if I do a little bit of everything she requests me to do."

"Furious? Did you even slack off one time?" Blue asked.

"I slacked off one time. She took it easy on me. I don't know how she would take it if I did it again, so I have no idea."

"I'm not sure if she's strict… ok, let's put that strictness aside for later. For now, we need to fill in Blue so that we can remember where we are." I said.

"Indeed. I don't think I'm in the need to talk about this the rest of the way."

"She might be a big help for some reason." Blue whispered to me.

"I agree. Disregarding how serious she is when she is working with Lunia, her being a SHESR can definitely be a great fit for her." I whispered.

"Let's follow after her. Maybe afterwards we can discover this one."

We then continued to move further inside the base to reach the next room here. I felt my heart racing a little bit because I felt a little nervous about doing this, but I started to play it off afterwards, knowing that I can really do this.

Being the protagonist of this story still seems a little too much for me, but I have a feeling all the protagonists in the other dimensions are gonna steal the spotlight from me. Including this dimension. And Blue. But I just don't know it yet. Maybe as we progress through this story.

Ok… Maybe I'm trying to say this like I'm the narrator of some story or something. It would honestly feel too embarrassing. Maybe I shouldn't spoil this story too much.

But in any case, we have reached the room where Lunia is in, as Cordelia herself was finding a way in, using the hand scan that was on the wall. It confirmed that she was recognizable as the automatic doors were now open.

"That was pretty neat, letting yourself in, Cordelia." Blue said to her.

"Lady Lunia set me up with that hand scan so she'll now know that I have arrived here." Cordelia said.

"I see."

"Cordelia?! Is that you?!"

"That must be her voice." I said as we all heard Lunia's voice.

"That's correct. I've made my presence."

We all entered inside the next room without any hesitation. I'm just still concerned that there is no one here to protect this place. Or maybe Lunia is just hiding something really useful in order to seek any intruders.

I guess that goddess might have eyes that might be out of this world. Or just some security cameras that might be hidden.

"I'm not alone this time."

"Not Al— Oh, Kaze. Nice to see you, again. And I assume this is your friend?" Lunia asked.

"Hello, Lunia. And yeah, this is my friend I just made recently. She wanted to visit this place as well." I said.

"My name's Blue Mackenzie. Blue for short. So you're Ms. Lunia, yes?" Blue asked.

"Correct. I'm the goddess and ruler of this whole dimension, Lunia. Nice to meet you. Oh, and this my daughter, Scarlett."

"A pleasure to meet you, Blue." Scarlett said.

"Yeah, same here."

"Someone paying a visit? I guess this is going to be more entertaining the way I see it." I heard Scarlett say.

By the way, It's just her here. Not the whole family.

"Oh yeah, another reason why she's here is because she wants to learn about this place as well as the stones. She is really similar to me when you talk about studying magic. We both have the same hobbies." I explained.

"Is that so? Well, I'm glad you'll be taking part in this as well, Blue." Lunia said.

"Well I'm only doing this to protect our worlds." Blue said. "I actually study a lot of magic so hopefully I can put this whole thing to the test. I didn't even know this whole incident was in effect when I first discovered this. It was just the first thing people back home were talking about was Thanos and I had no idea he was part of the story."

"That's true. But since the mastermind somehow resurrected him for whatever the purpose, he can be a deadlier pain to deal with as a whole."

"And with him hiding from the shadows, there's no telling in the situation where he can be found with the stone. It's just about impossible to find the intel that we need at this rate." I said.

"It truly is, but the other characters in the other dimensions might have big pieces of information about getting to figure where Thanos actually is. It's just… we need to have those characters hear us out and help on Thanos' actual location and the orange stone." Scarlett said.

"So… this whole thing really depends on other people?" I asked.

"That's what we are predicting in this current state. They don't recognize Thanos but they can locate only the stone. So there can be a possibility that we might travel to the hidden dimensions. If it works."

"So… in order to get the sixth stone, we should hope that we can provide backup from other characters in other dimensions?" Blue asked.

"That's true."

"So… wait, Kaze. Did you tell Blue the information about the six stones?" Scarlett asked.

"Y-Yeah… She needed to know what they were. Not where they are located." I answered.

"So let me recap. The six stones are Destruction, Physicality, Healing, Evolution, Protection and Time, yes?" Blue asked.

"That's correct. The six stones are located in…"

"There's four left." Scarlett corrected Lunia.

"W... no there's si— wait.

Oh yeah. Correction. The four stones are located in these four dimensions. Mushroom Kingdom, Hyrule, Gamindustri, and Takaoka." Lunia said after thinking about it for a second.

"Mushroom Kingdom and Hyrule? I feel like those two I know are recognizable. So something is about to happen to both princesses although it doesn't involve them." Blue said.

"It is quite true. However, there can be somewhat of a chance that they'll take part in this too. I have a feeling they both are very physical anyway."

Wait, they both are physical? How are they going to find that thing and/or defeat the opponents that might show up on their turf?

"Besides, I believe those dimensions, Mushroom Kingdom and Hyrule, are both good dimensions to start off with." Scarlett said. "Because in order to get better and better, there are enemies that look really easy to deal with. Takaoka and Gamindustri… I have a feeling that we're not gonna get better at that moment."

"The Mushroom Kingdom and Hyrule are basically good to start off with?" Cordelia asked.

"The Stone of Healing and Physicality should make their arrival in a few days so I'd say that we should definitely prepare." Lunia said.

"So they both come first?" Blue asked.

"It's the Stone of Healing that comes first. It's in the Mushroom Kingdom." I said to Blue.

"Mushroom Kingdom? So who's gonna join up for this?"

"Well…"

"ROOM SERVICE!" We heard a familiar voice who appeared to be Darius' voice.

But as soon as we looked to see who that was, it was not just him. Kris, Alexis and Zack were here too.

"What's up, mama?" Darius greeted.

"Welcome back, everyone. How was your training?" Lunia asked.

"It is sweaty as always. I use up every bit of my energy and I still feel gassed."

"I can't disagree with you for once. I feel the same way from all that fighting I did." Alexis said while wiping her head with a towel.

"How long did you do this for?" Lunia asked the four.

The four looked at each with worried looks on their face for a while until Darius said this…

"6 ½ hours."

"6 ½ hours?! You should've been back by then!"

"I know that, but this was actually all my idea. Y'see, me and these three agreed to a plan that we trained harder and harder in that training area. I just wanted to exhaust myself today and… *yawn* Relax and stretch."

That was honestly pretty good. But I wonder… What is the training area for?

"I mean, it was impressive that you are growing stronger, but 6 ½ hours straight? You should've taken a break during that timespan. That's what gets you tired."

"Yeah, but… a superstar HCUs should not work for 20 minutes and take a break. That 6 ½ training was one fascinating workout."

"*sigh* Alright. Congratulations, then. For exhausting yourself with your superstar mentality." Lunia said while clapping.

Blue and I giggled at what Lunia said and did. I had no idea she would say that anyway.

"Well well, if it isn't the romance girl and her new friend. Y'all taking of yourselves now?"

"R-Roman..." I stopped myself after noticing that these people know that they can record what other people and dimensions are doing.

"Wait, did you…"

Darius, in who I forgot to mention, nodded.

I then facepalmed after a good while.

Please, god. Get me out of this hellhole.

"M-Maybe we shouldn't have talked about it." Blue said with a sweatdrop.

"More importantly, we were filling in our friend right here, Blue Mackenzie, Blue for short, about the whole stone war going on." Scarlett explained.

"Oh, so she's taking part in this too?" Kris asked.

"Mhm." Blue nodded.

"Well, the more the merrier if she's taking part in it. She seems like a serious girl." Zack said.

"Well… sometimes. Not all the time. I'm more like Kaze in a way." Blue said, trying to be honest with herself.

"Yeah, it was just very sudden that I ran into a girl who is similar to what I do. Although she is new to this stuff." I said.

"So, uh… are these four your kids?" Blue asked Lunia.

"Correct." Lunia asked.

"I'm Darius Hyper." Darius said.

"Alexis Hyper. Nice to meet you." Alexis said.

"Name's Kris Hyper. Nice to meet ya too." Kris said.

"My name's Zack Hyper. Also a pleasure to meet you." Zack said.

"Same here. Hopefully I can become an acquaintance."

Blue asked.

"An acquaintance?"

*BUMP*

"Don't mind him." Alexis said after elbowing Darius on the side.

*FLICK*

"Ow!"

"Yeah. You play too much." Darius said after finger-flicking her in her back leg.

"I was trying to get you to dial it back a bit!"

"Will you both settle down for me, please?!" Lunia said sharply.

"She…" Darius then left it all out with a sigh.

Something tells me that those two will go after each other for a very long time.

"Arguing aside, I would love to get back to this conversation." Scarlett said.

"Oh about the… stone war?" Kris asked.

"Yeah. To Blue." Lunia said.

"Her intelligence seems to be on point so these two could be definitely helpful. What's better is that our army is almost loaded and well-prepared, so hopefully this move could make a strong advantage." Cordelia explained.

"Yeah, I know that, Cordelia." Kris said. "This is what they do. So there's not gonna be any problems moving forward."

"Speaking of those two that could be really helpful, I want to show them something that I really wanted them to see because in order for them to take part in this mission, they need to get prepared as well." Lunia said.

"Show… us something?" I asked Lunia.

"Is it really big?" Blue asked.

"It would definitely help you on your quest. It'll kinda remind you of those four working their butt off." Lunia said.

"Well, thank you, mom." Darius said sarcastically.

"What do you think, Blue?" I asked her.

"I guess if it's something that involves the stones or the training that Lunia was talking about, then I'm in." Blue said.

"I think you are going to like it. I promise." Lunia said.

"Alright. No going back on that now." I said as I gave in.

"You don't seem too confident." Kris said to me.

"No, I am confident. I just… want to see what Blue thinks first." I said.

"It's fine, Kaze. I'm sure it won't be that bad if you ask me." Blue said.

"Yeah, I know. I'm just… this is my first time that I'm getting a private chat with a goddess so I guess if anything is up, then I'll pay attention to her."

"Lady Lunia is serious about the preparations, so you keep listening to her and maybe things will turn out as expected." Cordelia said to me.

"All right, Cordelia." I said.

"Lunia truly is a workhorse when it comes to these things. I'm not sure if this is expected, but are you trying to form a dynasty, Lunia?" Blue asked.

"Um… no, not at all. I'm just doing this to save these worlds that are about to be in a crisis." Lunia answered.

"Nuh-Uh, it's just that she's shy. Don't get the wrong idea." Darius said.

"I would never be shy!" Lunia shouted while blushing.

"Yes, you do." He and Kris said.

"I'm not gonna admit to such an honest answer of all things!"

"Look, I just want to protect you guys with everything in my power so can you just admit I'm accepting the truth?!"

"Ok, dang! You don't need to be sarcastic over it!" Darius said with a disgusted look.

"Overall, she still seems like a reliable goddess." Blue said.

"Yeah, with two dimensions joining forces with each other, this would help build momentum."

"But I assume there are only going to be two?" Cordelia asked.

"That I'll get to in a little bit. About adding these people into this mission." Lunia said. "For right now, I'm gonna borrow those two because I want to show them something if they are gonna take part in this."

"All right, Lunia." I said.

"I guess we've talked for a long period of time." Blue said.

"Yes, and I'm gonna set up a portal now." Lunia said as she did some typing on her holographic computer.

I'm gonna be honest with myself, after noticing that I'm talking with a robot named Cordelia and experiencing a lot of holographic stuff, I really like this dimension. A lot actually. Because although I know little about science fiction, this one really sparks my interest. A lot. Because I've met Lunia with a lot of futuristic cars. And Roller Rocket Racing was really fun to try out since I know how to Roller Skate and all. And because Lunia invited me to see her dimension and her knowing about the six stones and the four different dimensions in this universe, I could've thanked her for taking me and Blue this far. I loved all of that from her. And because of this…

I think I want to turn my attention towards futuristic stuff. Although Zack is an expert in creating and repairing good technology. And reading books will still be my favorite hobby. And I'm not turning my back on it.

"Alright. There we go. Shall we depart?" Lunia asked as the portal is now set up by her.

"Let's do it." Blue said.

"Sure thing." I said as we both were heading inside the portal.

"So are you just taking them somewhere important? Because we still need to test out their strength in a few days." Darius asked.

"Yeah, I've been wondering if they can handle this task or not." Alexis said.

"Don't worry. These two can handle it, just like they said." Lunia said. "That's why I should take them somewhere very important if they want to take part in this mission."

"All right, I'm just saying. There's no turning back." Darius said.

"We'll stay strong. Trust me." I said to Darius with a smile.

"I'm sure we'll be like you all." Blue said.

"Yo, are you girls trying to make me blush?" Darius asked while attempting to blush.

"Oh, did I? I'm sorry." I said, looking a little bad for what I did.

"D-Don't say it! Please! You are pushing it now!" I shouted while blushing hard after seeing a few people stare at me. I noticed what they were gonna say.

"Say what? We weren't saying anything." Alexis said, confused.

"I can see right through you! Ugh! Forget it. Let's just proceed." I said in disbelief.

"Good luck you three." Cordelia said to us.

"Thank you, Cordelia. I'm sure I'll get these two settled right about now." Lunia said.

And get me out of this romance crap already.

"Just stay safe out there, mom." Scarlett said.

"I will, Scarlett." Lunia said.

And so, the three of us have now entered the portal to somewhere that will seem really important to me and Blue. I'm not sure what it will be, but if it's going to help us on our quest, then I'll hear her out. I'm gonna try. With my new friend, Blue. Hopefully, with Blue on my side, the two of us can definitely make something good happen.

Hopefully, we'll see how this goes.

Author's Note: I had to stop there. I'm not doing another long chapter again. I know most of you guys love seeing me do long chapters but I did multiple chapters where I did over 7k+ words. I was expecting myself to ease up on that limit and I finally did it for once because every time I am working on these chapters with the number of words I want to write, I exceed that limit. And it will feel like a story and I don't want to do too much so I'm sorry if I kept this a little short. I just don't want to wait more weeks to keep uploading all just because I'm just lost in thought and don't know what to write. It's just… I'm trying to not only improve my grammar by reading more, but I just want to get the United Kingdom series over with and move on to the next series because I just get stuck and don't know what to write. But I'll get over it maybe to entertain you guys. I just… need this time to think about what I want to write and then I'll install it on here.

Also, Cordelia is who I thought of just for a short period of time. The reason being for adding her in this story is because of Call of Duty Black Ops 3. I never noticed it was going to be futuristic and I straight up took a liking to it as well as the robots that were in the game as it made the game more fun to play. So I figured, why not add robots and Cordelia herself in this story. Hopefully, this all goes well.

With all that being said, hope you guys enjoyed this chapter. If you did, follow/favorite/review this story and I'll see you in my next chapter.
