Hey, lovely readers. I hope you enjoy this chapter. LEMON ALERT. As always, SM owns the twilight universe.
Gosh, I love Jacob. Let me know what you all think of how the story is going and PLEASE REVIEW XO
The song lyrics featured in this one are from the song Through Glass by Stone Sour. If you are interested in a song to go along with the Lemon below, just know that I had intended to write the scene along with "Only Love Can Hurt Like This" by Paloma Faith.

After she finished a few other chores she had planned for the day, Bella headed upstairs to shower. She tried to ignore Jacob's dirty towel in her hamper as she undressed. The hot water soothed her aching muscles, but not the constant cold that seemed to come from her very core. The hug from Paul had helped a little. Bella wasn't only missing Jacob. She was missing the pack. The group had not been together as a whole in weeks. After her shower, Bella dressed and called Sue to ask if she needed to bring anything. When Sue began chattering in frustration about how Leah was out somewhere and she had no help, Bella offered to give her a hand. Bella hurried to finish getting ready, text Charlie to meet her at Sue's, and then headed back out to LaPush.
Sue was impressed at how easily Bella adapted to her kitchen.
"This is kind of your thing, isn't it?" Sue observed as Bella put the final touches on a strawberry-covered cheesecake.
"I love it," Bella said, grinning. "I'm kind of jealous of Emily in a way. I'd love to just be in the middle of it all like she gets to be sometimes. I miss everyone," she finished glumly. "I'm the last one to know anything now, and it sucks."
"You are the future Alpha's imprint. And, Jacob will be Chief someday. Technically the responsibilities that Emily takes on now would be yours."
"Really," Bella said, smiling. "Well, she does a wonderful job and she loves it."
Sue chuckled and pulled Bella into a hug. Bella sighed and hugged her back.
"God, I'm glad you're all huggy people," Bella chuckled.
"We are definitely a hugging family," Sue said. "You were raised among us, so that's probably where you get it."
"Charlie's a hugger. He can't express emotion easily, but he'll freakin' hug anybody," Bella said, laughing.
Sue's eyes grew wide with surprise just before Bella was poked in the sides and a loud "YIP" rang out behind her. She jumped and turned to find Quil behind her, grinning.
"Asshole," she teased as she fought the urge to cup her stomach.
"I missed you, too," he said, yanking her against his chest.
"Quil," Bella coughed. "Can't breathe." He released her, chuckling.
"I just wanted to say hello," he said.
"Just wanted to be an idiot," Leah snipped, standing behind him. He laughed. She smirked as he gave her a wink and headed for the door.
"See ya later, Ladies."
"God," Bella laughed as the screen door slammed behind him. Leah's face was flushed. When she noticed Bella eyeballing her, she scowled and walked to the fridge.
"There's the Leah I know and love," Bella teased.
"Stuff it, Bitch," Leah teased back.
"Hey, hey," Sue scowled at Leah.
"What? She called Quil an asshole and you didn't care," Leah argued.
"That's because it was Quil," Sue mumbled.
"Fucking step kids get away with everything. It's starting already," Leah teased, digging through the fridge.
Bella excused herself after asking where the bathroom was. She had thought that excessive urinating didn't become an issue until later in the pregnancy.
Apparently not.
Lately, too much laughter or a good sneeze had her running for the toilet.
It is going to be a long seven months.
She opened the door to leave the bathroom and Leah shoved her back inside, pulling the door shut. She flipped the lock and leaned against it.
"What the hell, Lee?" Bella yelled.
"Shhh!" Leah hissed at her. "Quiet," she whispered.
"Fine. What the hell are you doing? Bella whispered dramatically.
"I need to talk to someone," Leah said, trying not to smile.
Bella grinned and relaxed. She shoved aside the shower curtain and sat on the edge of the tub.
"Talk to me," Bella said.
Leah dropped the toilet lid and sat down, grinning. "God, I feel like an idiot. I don't even know how to say it," she said. Before she could continue, someone was pounding at the door.
"Open up, Leah, I gotta pee," Seth yelled through the door.
"You are a boy, go piss outside!" Leah yelled. She grinned as he growled and stomped away.
"So, anyway…" she began.
"Girls," Sue yelled outside the door, "Charlie's here."
"Oh, for fuck's sake," Leah whispered before yelling, "Coming, Mom!" she shook her head as they headed for the door.
"You're so lucky you'll have your own place soon," Leah grumbled.
"Well, maybe you'll have to just come to stay the night sometimes," Bella chuckled.
"Ahh," Leah teased. "My savior."
Dinner went over surprisingly well. Bella was happy to see that Leah and Seth had no issues with Charlie and Sue's relationship. The dopey smile Charlie had been wearing lately made Bella happy, too. After so many years alone, he deserved to be loved well. Seth claimed he was heading to bed before he snuck out for patrol. Charlie and Sue had curled up on the couch to watch a movie, a scene that had Bella blushing awkwardly.
"Payback is a bitch, isn't it," Charlie teased. Leah laughed, already having adjusted to Charlie's frequent presence. She grabbed Bella's hand and dragged her outside.
"Come on, Bitch, we're going for a walk," she announced.
"So, what did you want to talk about," Bella asked her as they got a short way from the house.
"Uh, do you think you can whisper again?" Leah smirked. "Those fuckers can hear from incredibly far away."
"Sure," Bella chuckled.
"So," Leah whispered, "I, uh, kind of have a thing."
"A thing?" Bella asked.
"A situation," Leah said, laughing. "Arrangement sounds wrong, but…"
"Do you have a fuck buddy?" Bella asked, giggling.
"Bella Swan, why I never," Leah mocked. "You kiss Charlie with that mouth?"
"Gross," Bella laughed. "Get serious, who is it?"
"Don't even act like you can't guess, Bella. You saw that look today," Leah said, nudging Bella with her shoulder.
Bella chuckled. "How'd it happen," she asked.
"That day at the bonfire, when they played guitars," Leah said. The look on her face gave Bella a pretty good idea of how that night had changed the way Leah saw Quil.
"I saw you taking an interest in Quil's playing," Bella said.
"Yeah, Bitch, I know. You notice everything," Leah laughed. "You should've been a wolf. Your observation skills would be useful."
"Maybe when one of our kids is a wolf, they'll be blessed with my skills," Bella joked.
"Planning on many are you?" Leah asked.
"At least two," Bella laughed. "So, you were saying?"
"I have a thing for musicians," Leah said and shrugged.
"Is it true," Bella teased, "That musicians do it better?" Leah blushed and covered her face, laughing. Bella had never seen her this way and couldn't help but smile for Leah's current happiness. And Quil's.
"Is it?" Leah asked her in return.
"I wouldn't know about better," Bella said. "I've only been with Jacob. I can't imagine any better than that." She blushed and both girls chuckled.
"I trust Quil," Leah whispered. "but no one can know. No one. Especially Sam." She ran her hands through her hair nervously. Bella smiled at her sympathetically.
Leah was afraid of what Sam would do to Quil if he found out, that was clear to see.
"Hey, Lee," Bella said, wrapping her arm through Leah's. "I'm great with secrets."
"So I've heard," Leah laughed.
This was why she chose me to confide in, Bella thought. Leah trusts me but Jacob doesn't. How did shit get so turned around?
"I can't believe I'm saying this, Bella, but," Leah said seriously, "I'm really happy about Mom and Charlie."
"I'm relieved to hear it, actually," Bella admitted. "They're good together. She makes him happy."
"Be glad you don't know how happy," Leah said, scowling.
"Oh my god," Bella said and cringed. "Don't. Ever again." Her face was turning red.
"So," Leah said, laughing, "why relief? Did you think I'd hate the idea?"
"I've worried about it a bit," Bella admitted. "We have something good now. We're friends now, right?"
"Yeah, why? You wanna commemorate? Change your Facebook status," Leah teased and she laughed.
"I just… Our parents' relationship is their problem. It doesn't come between us, okay?" Bella stopped walking and held her hand out to Leah. "Seriously, deal? I don't want to lose you if they don't work out."
Leah slapped Bella's hand away and slung her arm over her shoulder. "Don't be dumb, bitch, you're stuck with me now. Maybe mom will marry Charlie and we'll make it official."
It took a second for Bella to realize that the trail they were on was coming up behind Jacob's garage. Bella stopped and sighed. Leah was walking forward slowly, grinning.
"Let's go back," Bella said.
"Jacob's playing," Leah said, smiling. She beckoned Bella to come with her and continued toward Jacob's. Bella sighed and carefully followed. The closer they got, the more anxious she became.
"Leah, I don't want to," Bella said but Leah cut her off.
"Shhh," she hissed. "Listen," she whispered. Bella leaned against a tree for balance and closed her eyes, trying to focus on the song he was playing.
How much is real?
So much to question
An epidemic of the mannequins
Contaminating everything
When thought came from the heart
It never did right from the start
Just listen to the noises
Null and void instead of voices
Before you tell yourself
It's just a different scene
Remember it's just different from what you've seen
I'm looking at you through the glass
Don't know how much time has passed
And all I know is that it feels like forever
When no one ever tells you that forever feels like home
Sitting all alone inside your head
'Cause I'm looking at you through the glass
Don't know how much time has passed
All I know is that it feels like forever
When no one ever tells you that forever feels like home
Sitting all alone inside your head
And it's the stars
The stars that shine for you
And it's the stars
The stars that lie to you
Bella knew the song, though the lyrics had never hit home before. She hadn't even realized she was crying until Leah reached out to wipe away her tears.
"You love him, right?" Leah asked her.
"Of course," Bella said.
"Fight for him, Bella," Leah said. "Play dirty if you have to. Someone needs to wake his ass up."
"Leah, I am not going to manipulate him," Bella said.
"Like he promised he wouldn't manipulate you?" Leah asked her boldly.
"I fucked up, Leah," Bella hissed in his defense. "He has every right to be mad."
"Meanwhile, you're both going crazy missing each other. He's being ridiculous. Go in there and seduce his ass," Leah said. Both girls tried to hold back a chuckle.
Jacob had begun playing a different song. His voice sounded mournful. He was hurting, and he was still singing about her.
His playing cut off abruptly before his radio turned on and the light flipped out.
"He's sleeping in the garage," Bella asked softly. "Why?"
"He's slept there for weeks, Bella," Leah confessed. "He thinks we don't know he sneaks in, but Quil and I have come across him a few times while we were out running around."
"Didn't he hear your thoughts when he got here?" Bella asked Leah.
"We, um, weren't phased," Leah said, smirking. Bella blushed.
"Go get him. Show him what he's missing," Leah said.
"And what do you plan to do in the meantime," Bella asked.
"I'll figure something out," Leah said, grinning. "Good luck."
"Leah," Bella hissed as the other girl jogged away from her chuckling.

Jacob put his guitar in the corner, flipped on the radio, and switched the stations. If he was going to sleep, he needed shit that wouldn't make him think of Bella. He moved his water bottle closer to the couch and flipped out the light.
The old, broken-down couch was still surprisingly comfortable if you knew where to place a cushion or two. Jacob laid down, kicked off his sneakers, and wiggled around until he was comfortable. He closed his eyes, hoping to sleep. Instead, his mind raced. His body ached and his chest felt hollow. Seeing Bella today had brought the ache for her back with a vengeance.
He had to figure out what the hell he was going to say.
How do you apologize for hurting someone by doing something you felt you needed to do?
He was sorry that she hurt, but he wasn't sorry that he took the time he needed to himself. He could trust her. He knew that now. She'd put the distance between herself and Cullen that he hadn't thought she was capable of doing. Surprisingly, the creep hadn't tried to climb into her window lately. He was at least respecting her wishes, it seemed.
Jacob was pulled from his thoughts as a shadow crept past the light streaming in from the motion lamp outside.
"Who is out there," he asked before a familiar scent crept into the room
"Hey," she said softly. Jacob sat up on the couch nervously. She made her way across the room, carefully. Silently.
Why is she in LaPush this late? Oh, yeah. Dinner at Sue's with Charlie. Shit, why is she here, though?
Bella was in a dark red sundress, a blue jean jacket, and brown leather ankle boots. She had brushed her wild curls down into soft waves, letting them hang down her back.
"Beautiful," he whispered. Jacob didn't need the light to know the sharp intake of breath he'd just heard meant she was blushing. Thoughts of their initial exploratory touches came to mind. Before the sex. The intimacy of it all. He still made her nervous.
God, he loved her.
He watched as she braved closer to him, slowly removing the jacket, and taking a calming breath as she laid it down. She glanced at the radio and smirked, raising an eyebrow at him.
He shrugged at her and smiled. She turned up the volume. Whatever game she was trying to play, he liked it. His wolf liked it too. She wasn't running away from him or yelling at him. She wasn't crying or demanding that he talk to her either. That was a damn good sign, right?
Bella walked up to him slowly and reached for him. He stared into her face as she rubbed her thumb against his whiskered face.
"Bella," he began and she placed her finger over his lips.
"Shhh," she whispered. "This is about you and me." Jacob leaned back and she followed, straddling him.
"You and me?" God damn, she was so close to him. He was surprised that he could still smell himself on her. It was faint, but it was there. He could hear her heart racing and something faint he couldn't quite make out.
Was she wearing a watch? It was much too fast to be a watch.
The thought completely fled his mind as Bella reached behind her and unzipped her dress. As she pulled the dress off over her head, Jacob growled. He couldn't help his damn self. Her bra and panty set was the same shade of red as her dress and left little to the imagination.
I'd have never made it through that damn family dinner. Sometimes he liked the shit Alice bought her. A lot.
Jacob leaned forward and wrapped his arms around her. She arched back against his palms, closing her eyes. Jacob leaned down and placed soft kisses across the tops of her breasts, gently kneading his hands along her back and shoulders.
Bella may have come here to seduce him, but he could tell it was taking all of her courage. He could feel the tension in her back and shoulders. He needed to touch her, to kiss her. To be inside of her. More than that, he needed her to relax, to feel safe, and wanted. That's what she needed from him desperately right now, and he could feel it in every fiber of his being.
She didn't need to know that he was going to come home. She needed to know that he wanted to.
This was why he didn't want her to know where he was. She would have found him. Just like now, he wouldn't have been able to tell her no.
He didn't want to tell her no.
I never should have left in the fucking first place.
Jacob slid his hands to her sides, gingerly stroking down and back, knowing she'd respond. Jacob grinned against her breast as a smooth love song began to play. She was an audiophile. We can work with this, he thought.
Jacob began to sway with her, just slightly. Just like when they had danced on the night of her graduation, she leaned into his hands, moving with him. Bella lifted her hands to the front of her bra, popping the clasp. Jacob looked into her eyes as she tossed the bra to the couch and she gasped. She could see his need for her, he had no doubt. Her eyes filled with tears. She tried to blink them back, leaning forward to pepper his collar bone with kisses. She trailed her tongue along his neck, biting down gently. Everywhere her mouth touched Jacob, his body sang. Jacob grabbed her hips, and she ground against him. He was already rock hard underneath of her. And I know she can feel it.
Jacob shoved his hands into her hair, pulling her mouth to his. Her tongue danced against his eagerly, increasing his need. Jacob lifted under her hips with one arm and used the other to help himself stand.
Bella wrapped her legs around his waist and held on, sucking his bottom lip into her mouth and then pulling it gently between her teeth. Jacob growled as he carried her away from the couch. He managed to kick his shorts off as he approached his motorcycle. The one she'd given him and they'd rebuilt together. She gasped as the cold metal of the gas tank touched her back and Jacob swung his leg over the bike. Bella grinned at him wickedly and laid back, lifting her arms to grip the handlebars above the controls. She arched her back, rocking her hips against him.
"Fuck, Bells," he growled and leaned down to place more kisses along her chest. He reached between them and into her panties, rubbing his fingers against her very wet sex. She whimpered as he pulled his hand away and put his finger in his mouth, tasting her. "God damn, baby," Jacob said.
She looked at him in surprise as he unwrapped her legs from around him, setting her boot-covered ankles on his shoulders. Jacob pulled Bella's panties to her knees, keeping her legs together as he lined the head of his cock against her opening. She cried out, arching her head back as he rocked himself inside of her. Wrapping his arms around her thighs, he held her in position as he set his rhythm. After a few thrusts, he lifted her hips higher, intensifying the angle. Bella was whimpering loudly with every stroke, her knuckles white from her grip on the handlebars.
Jacob pulled her panties the rest of the way off and spread her legs, wrapping an arm under each thigh. He was able to push himself in deeper and she cried out, reaching one hand down to knead her breast. It had been weeks since they'd been together and Jacob knew he couldn't last much longer. He reached between them to provide what she desperately needed, circling her clit with his thumb. He could feel her begin clenching around him.
Yes, cum for me, honey. He growled as he came inside of her, the power of his release sending her over the edge.
Bella collapsed back on the bike, panting, letting her arms hang down by the wheel.
Still resting deep inside of her, Jacob silently appreciated the woman sprawled before him. When she clenched around him again, he felt a renewed need for her. She whimpered as he gently removed himself from her body. She was positively spent, limp as he again lifted her and climbed off of the bike. Jacob carried her back to the couch and laid down, holding her on top of him. She stayed where he held her, her breathing beginning to slow.
For the first time in weeks, the wolf was quiet. His imprint was in his arms. His body was relaxed, his aches and pains at ease. He held her close and drifted off to sleep.
She still had her boots on.
