Chapter 37.
(Harry POV)
When Sarah Jane got back Luke wasn't with her.
"Sarah Jane, where's Luke?" I said.
"Gone," Sarah Jane said.
"Gone where?" I said.
"Sarah Jane," Maria said coming in. "Harry, You're back,"
"Some one want to tell me what is going on?" I said.
"Luke has gone back to his parents, Where he belong," Sarah Jane said. "And they are his parents, Mr. Smith confirmed it, The Bane Kidnapped him, did things to him, I got it wrong, Not the first time,"
"What, But we checked his DNA for a match there was none," I said.
"I'm really sorry," Maria said.
"It's for the best. I'm not cut out to be a parents," Sarah Jane said. "Children have no place in my life,"
"You don't mean that," Maria said.
"I told you, my life is dangerous I can't have other people to worry about," Sarah Jane said. "They're a distraction, These few months, I've been lucky, That can't hold up forever,"
"What are you saying," I said.
"Go home, you tell your dad he was right he should put the house on the market, And he, you, Clyde, should forget about me and everything you've seen," Sarah Jane said.
"How are they going to go that? What happened to what Dad said about never turning your back?" I said.
"Sometimes you have to, Sometimes it's the only way to survive," Sarah Jane said as Maria left and I headed out.
"Maria," I said.
"What was that?" Maria said. "Why is she doing that now?"
"I don't know, See you tomorrow," I said.
"Yeah," Maria said.

I was at School, with Maria and Clyde as we were at lunch.
"So that's it? No more monster, No more saving the world," Clyde said.
"She's devastated," Maria said.
"Not the only one, The thing is I scanned his DNA too, There were no matches at all, Not even on the Tardis, Nothing, and that's impossible for it to just be there now," I said.
"Where is Luke?" Clyde said.
"His Parents live in Hammersmith, I suppose, Luke, Ashley, will go back to his old school," Maria said.
"That's the last we see of him too, I'd just got him listening to Kasabian, I was going to move on to Arctic monkeys, Could have had him passing for cool," Clyde said.
"Maybe Ashley is cool, Maybe he's a completely different person to Luke, the Bane must have really messed him up," Maria said.
"I bet finding out he's got a real mum and Dad messed him up more," Clyde said.
"I hope he's all right," Maria said.
"Why don't we find out," Clyde said.
"I need to do something, catch you 2 in a bit," I said heading out and got to a nice spot where I called the Tardis to me and then once it had finished landing I got in and started checking up on when they said Luke when missing and started searching to see what the hell was really happening.
That was when my phone went.
"Hello," I said.
"Harry. It's Clyde, Something stinks about this whole thing," Clyde said.
"Yeah and," I said.
"His Mum wouldn't let me see him and apparently, Luke played football," Clyde said.
"What?" I said.
"Yeah and apparently he was good," Clyde said.
"But we played that with him once he couldn't get it," I said. "But That's more instinct then anything else You can't lose that,"
"That's my point," Clyde said. "I'm heading back to see Sarah Jane,"
"Okay, I still working on when they came into the picture, because nothing about them is showing up on the Tardis records. Not even Luke being Ashley, The Tardis scanned through the whole database in this time and nothing. No mention of his so called parents too," I said.
"Right, I'll call back as soon as I have something," Clyde said Hanging up.

Then my phone rang again.
"Clyde," I said.
"No harry it's Maria," Maria said. "Do you know where Clyde is?"
"No. He was going round to Talk with Sarah Jane, He told me," I said.
"I know, He called me too," Maria said.
"Hold on I'm coming to you, See you in the back," I said hanging up and set the coords for the back on Maria's house.
When I landed, I got out and knock the back door.
"Harry," Maria said.
"Got here, now what's going on?" I said.
"Clyde didn't go home last night, And he missed school today," Maria said.
"Funny, he said he would call back after he talked with Sarah Jane," I said.
"What else," Maria said.
"Clyde was right, there was no record of Luke's so called Parents on the database, and I check the entire lot," I said.
"Somethin wrong?" Alan said.
"Clyde's not answering his phone and didn't go home last night," Maria said.
"When did you last see him?" Alan said.
"Lunchtime yesterday," I said.
"He skipped school to go and see Luke, He rang me later, He doesn't think they're really Luke's parents," Maria said.
"I know I'm new to this X files stuff, But surely, Isn't it likely Luke is a normal boy who lost his memory, rather than Frankenstein Jr. put together by these Aliens, the bean?" Alan said.
"The Bane, But here is the funny bit. Clyde called me says his mum won't let him see Luke, Then apparently a really good football player, Now Clyde and I took Luke to play football once and he didn't have a clue what he was doing in it. I mean at all, You don't lose that, that's instinct, not to mention I didn't find anything on his parents either no birth, no family," I said.
"So they are fake," Maria said.
"What? Fake parents or fake people," Alan said.
"Maybe both," I said.
"What if they've done something to Clyde?" Maria said.
"Wait, Clyde said he was going to call me after he talked to Sarah Jane but, he never did," I said. "I'm going to have over there See if Mr. Smith had seen him? Stay here," then I left.
Heading over the street and into the house and then up to the attic where Mr. Smith was out.
"Mr. Smith," I said.
"Harry," Mr. Smith said.
"Mr. Smith, Did Sarah jane leave you out again," I said.
"Indeed," Mr. Smith said. "What Can I do for you?"
"I was wondering if you seen Clyde. He didn't turn up at school today," I said. As I looked around where I saw his bag.
"No, harry, I haven't," Mr. Smith said.
"Thanks, Shit of course, Left my bag, Just let me know if you see him," I said.
"Of Course, Harry," Mr. Smith said.
Then I left and headed straight back over and knock the door as Maria opened up.
"We got a problem," I said.
"What," Maria said.
"That's Clyde's bag," I said putting it down.
"Where did you get it," Alan said.
"Sarah Jane's attic near Mr. Smith, Now, He claimed not to of seen Clyde," I said.
"Then why was his bag there?" Maria said.
"Maybe he forgot it," Alan said.
"No, Clyde doesn't leave his bag, He could walk out of the attic and then comes back before he walks out of the house, No something else is going on and Mr. Smith is part of it," I said.
"What is Mr. Smith anyway," Alan said.
"A Xylok, Every one of them has a purpose, but just what was Mr. Smith's," I said.
"His mother must be going out of her mind," Alan said.
"Then let's go out look for him," Maria said.
"Right behind you," I said.
"No, you don't I'm part of this now, I'm coming with you," Alan said.
"Then let's go," I said.
"Where first," Maria said.
"Luke so called parents place," I said.
When we got there Maria, Rang the door bell but nothing.
"If I was an alien bent on invasion, I think I'd choose a palace," Alan said.
"They're not in," Maria said. "Now what,"
"Back door," I said.
Then we got round there.
"Oh look window," I said.
"So," Alan said.
"I can do this," I said pulling out my sonic and unlocking the window pushing it open.
"Housebreaking, Maybe your mother was right, about you hanging round Sarah Jane," Alan said.
"Keep quiet and start looking," Maria said.
"Right, What are we looking for," Alan said.
"Anything," I said.
"Agh," Alan said as we looked to see a skin. "They've skinned someone, they're Cannibals,"
"No, Wait, Let me look at it, "I said. Then I saw a zip. "Oh no, Not them again,"
"What," Alan said.
"Slitheen," I said. "Crap,"
"What," Maria said.
"We need to tell Sarah Jane now," I said. "Come on," As we headed back.
Once we got back to Maria's.
"Alan house, now, Maria with me," I said as we ran over. I opened the door.
"She's here," Maria said.
"Come on," I said as we ran up.
"What are you doing here?" Sarah Jane said.
"Luke's Parents are fake, they're Slitheen. Clyde is missing too," I said.
"What," Sarah Jane said.
"I think it's time to talk with Mr. Smith," I said as we headed up.
"Harry, Maria, Sarah Jane," Mr. Smith said.
"Where is Clyde," I said.
"I said to you yesterday, I have no seen him," Mr. Smith said.
"What about Slitheen Activity on Earth," Sarah Jane said.
"Slitheen, Why do you ask?" Mr. Smith said.
"Cause you got it wrong, I checked, They is no mention of Luke' so called parents, they're records were fake, And they are Slitheen," I said as he laughed. "Out now,"
"What," Sarah Jane said.
"Out now," I said pushing them out as Alan came in.
"Get out, Now. Mr. Smith, he's one of the bad guys," Alan said.
"Don't be ridiculous," Sarah Jane said.
"It's not, He got it wrong about Luke's Parents, They're Slitheen and not to mention the best bit. That was Clyde I picked up early, Now, Where is Clyde, Mr. Smith," I said.
"I have a purpose," Mr. Smith said.
"Which is what?" I said.
"It must be fulfilled the Slitheen have been useful and so have you," Mr. Smith having a gun out.
"Out," I said. As we ran out.
"I trusted him with my life, With the whole planet," Sarah Jane said.
"What's happened to him?" Maria said.
"He's a Xylok, Most of them have a purpose but what really is his," I said.
"Maybe Clyde can tell us," Alan said.
"Clyde," Maria said.
"Come on," I said.
"He was talking to me through this told to come and warn you," Alan said. "Damn he was there,"
"He'd hacked in?" Maria said.
"Never seen anything like it before," Alan said.
"Not if Clyde was using Mr. Smith to hack in to warn us," I said.
"We have to find out what's going on," Sarah Jane said.
"You think what's happened to Mr. Smith, has anything to do with Luke and the Slitheen?" Maria said.
"It has to, But how? What is Mr. Smith's Purpose," I said.
"Could Mr. Smith has some form of connection to the Slitheen? Where did he come from?" Alan said.
"The biggest volcanic eruption civilisation has ever seen, 18 months ago when I was researching volcanic activity, A geologist friend sent me a crystal from the site of Krakatoa," Sarah Jane said.
"It was Mr. Smith in his Xylok form?" I said.
"Must be yes, The crystal had become a curiosity among geologists. they'd never seen anything like it. Neither did I, But they didn't see what I did." Sarah Jane said. "It was as if the crystal was communicating with my laptop, and using it to communicate with me, It was a memory cell from a spacecraft that crashed years ago. it's computing power, its knowledge, it was phenomenal. It told me amazing things, it said it could help me, keep track of Alien life forms coming to Earth. It could help protect the earth, but our technology was too limited, and so it designed and created Mr. Smith,"
"So why turn against you?" Alan said.
"We have to work it out as we go, First thing need is Luke," I said.
"We have to find Luke, I gave him to the Slitheen and I have to get him back," Sarah Jane said.
"they want to use him like the Bane to invade," Alan said.
"The Slitheen didn't invade, Alan, Last 3 times, I meet them they were trying to destroy Earth. They're not a race they're a family, Scavengers," I said.
"Slitheen are dealers they sell anything," Sarah Jane said. "And in some parts of the Galaxy, Telekinetic energy fetches a huge price,"
"What?" I said. "Where?"
"Pharos," Sarah Jane said.
"Then that's where they would take Luke," I said. "Alan you got any Vinegar,"
"No we're all out," Alan said.
"Then we stop by a chippy on the way," I said. "Let's go,"
As we drove off and found on as Sarah Jane went for the vinegar.
"Why are we getting Vinegar," Alan said.
"Slitheen are Calcium based life forms, they can't handle the vinegar," I said.
"So," Alan said.
"If you hit them with a good amount," Maria said.
"They explode, They can't handle the vinegar, gives us an advantage," I said.
Once we got there, we found 2 of them.
"Stay there, we are armed with Vinegar," I said. "Now Where is Luke?"
"That little Brat. Back on Raxacoricofallpatorius. We'd Spank his backside with a bartleboigle tree." She said.
"Nice try of lying to me," I said.
"So where is he?" Sarah Jane said.
"He got away, But that doesn't matter," Kid one said.
"Actually it does. Either let her go, or you lot are going to became just like the last 2 times I faced you Slitheen," I said.
"You killed my Father, Harry. At the school," He said.
"You think I'm going feel sorry for that, you lot were trying to destroy this planet, I give you the option to leave you didn't, and forced my hand," I said.
"Get away from my Daughter, you overgrown newt," Alan said.
"You drop your weapon or she dies," He said.
"Or, I kill all 3 of you right now, So Let her go," I said.
Alan did it though.
"Right now, Let her go, Frog, face," Alan said.
"Dad," Maria said.
"What now?" Sarah Jane said.
"Now we contact the Xylok," She said. "Get this deal back on the rails, once we've found the youngling again,"
"Then Why did he send me here," Sarah Jane said.
"What for," I said.
"An energizer," Sarah Jane said.
"Shit," I said.
"What?" Maria said.
"It's all part of his plan, he knew Luke would get away from you lot, So he wanted one for Luke to use back at the house, With both Luke and Mr. Smith, They can destroy the Earth," I said.
"Doesn't matter, we don't need him to get my revenge," He said.
"You do that, You'll never stop Mr. Smith or get off Earth Alive," I said.
"What do you mean," He said.
"With the right mind, It could be a destroyer of worlds," I said.
"He Meant Luke's Mind," Sarah Jane said.
"Then that's what his purpose was, To Destroy Earth, Right we need a way to stop him," I said.
"How," Maria said.
"Sarah Jane, you said he made him self with earth tech right," I said.
"Yeah, Why?" Sarah Jane said.
"Alan can you get us a nice Virus to stop him," I said.
"If this place has the right tech," Alan said.
"Well," I said.
"It Does," She said.
"Alan, Get on it," I said.
"Oh no, he is using the headset on Luke," Sarah Jane said.
Then Earth Shook and the Blind came off. Then I saw the Moon.
"Oh Shit, The Moon it moving, Alan hurry up, we got at least 10 minutes, before that crashes into Earth,"
"And when it does?" Maria said.
"Earth will be destroyed," I said. "Alan,"
"I get paid by companies to block Cyber threats, I understand viruses, I know how they work, But Mr. Smith he's more than a computer," Alan said.
"Dad, you're our only chance," Maria said.
"Alan," I said.
"Then this is my best shot," Alan said. "The FBI had to stop a cyber terrorist from using this to destroy the international banking network,"
"So how did you get hold of it?" Sarah Jane said.
"You're not the only one with unorthodox contact," Alan said.
"Nice one," I said. "Sarah Jane, Grab hold,"
"What is this going to do," Sarah Jane said.
"Beam up back to your attic, Once there we get K9 out to start shooting Mr. Smith keep him distracted while you put that in, I'll get Luke," I said.
"Then let's go," Sarah Jane said. Put her hand over my Vortex and I lit it up beaming us to the Attic.
"Luke," Sarah Jane said as we got there.
"Sarah Jane, you came to say goodbye," Mr. Smith said.
"Why are you doing this?" Sarah Jane said.
"The collision of the moon and Earth will release the Xylok from the Planet's crust, where it has been buried for 60 million years," Mr. Smith said.
"You're going to kill Billion," I said.
"The Xylok are a crystalline life form, We crashed here as a meteorite, but beneath the Earth, Our Crystals have re grown and become strong but never the less remain trapped," Mr. Smith said.
"You're part of the crystal your still in contact with it," I said.
The She shut it down.
Then I moved and got it off Luke.
"What have you done with Clyde," Sarah Jane said.
"Am I not merciful," Mr. Smith said.
"What a dream," Clyde said.
"You made all this possible Sarah Jane, I owe you the mercy of a quick death," Mr. Smith said.
"Alone, you think we're alone and defenceless well meet me, dog, K9 cover us," I said as Sarah Jane opened it.
"Affirmative, Master," K9 said. Shooting at him. Then Beamed in. "Maximum defence mode,"
"Sarah Jane," I said as I was below him.
"Catch," Sarah Jane said. Throwing the disc which I caught and out it in.
"Do you wish me to continue firing?" K9 said.
"Just be ready, if we need you, K9," I said.
"Very good master," K9 said.
"A robot dog called K9," Clyde said.
"Meet one of my Dad's friend's Clyde," I said.
"Affirmative," K9 said.
"I am Dreaming, Aren't I?" Clyde said.
"What have you done to me Sarah Jane Harry, I feel I feel Strangle," Mr. Smith said.
"It's a computer virus. Mr. Smith," I said.
"It's closing down your databanks, You're losing your memory," Sarah Jane said.
"I'm forgetting it all, Sarah Jane, "Mr. Smith said.
"Without your memories, You have no purpose, You can't destroy Earth," Sarah Jane said.
"Put the moon back into its original Orbit, And set Luke free now," I said.
"I've forgotten my purpose," Mr. Smith said.
"Your Purpose is to protect and to save the Earth," I said.
"The unit is non functional," K9 said.
"He did it, It worked, the moon's going back," Clyde said.
"Is everything satisfactory, master, mistress?" K9 said.
"Affirmative, K9," I said. "Good boy,"
"Must return to the distortion, Master, Mistress, without my attention. Black hole will turn critical in 0.42 time spatial Increments," K9 said.
"Go now, Good Dog, I'll see you soon," Sarah Jane said.
"Affirmative," K9 said. Beamed back there.
"Mum," Luke said.
"Luke," Sarah Jane said.
"There they go," Luke said.
"Back to Raxacoricofallapatorius," I said.
"And good Riddance," Sarah Jane said.
"Will they be back?" Alan said.
"Sooner or Later," I said.
"What about Mr. Smith," Maria said.
"Can we trust him again," Clyde said.
"The Armageddon code has wiped his circuits, he'll reboot with a new purpose to safeguard the world," I said.
"Mum," Maria said.
"Just say what a beautiful night please come and join us," Sarah Jane said.
"Well I'll back back soon," I said.
"You coming back then?" Maria said.
"Yeah. I'll be back, See you soon," I said leaving for the Tardis where I set the Coords for Cardiff.
