Daisy's POV
"ABBY!" I yell into the phone. "Bye, Guten tag," I say to Michelle and Ned. Michelle started talking in what sounds like gibberish, but I assume it's German.
I run into Tony's workshop thing, almost out of breath. "Peter...Abby...ice cream...boom!" I yell. "Not exploding ice cream."
"Darn" he snaps his fingers. "Brilliant minds think alike though.
"Give me a sec," I bend down with my hands on my knees then put my hand on his shoulder.
"Wait, are the kids in trouble?" He asks looking concerned all of a sudden.
"Kids these days. huh?" I shake my head.
"Friday, I need the suit ready" He gathers his things. I look around. Nobody. I'm not sure if Tony is okay. "Friday is the tower assistant robot thing."
"Gotcha. Hi-ho, Friday!"
"Hello, Miss Miller," Friday says.
"Wow, so formal." I laugh.
"I'm off to Blairsville. Please don't kill yourself." Tony says now suited up.
"No promises. Toodles!"
Tony left yesterday so I guess he had lots of things to do. I'm on the outside deck when I hear heels. I grab my bat that I brought and hide. They get closer and closer. I have to attack. I run out screaming with my bat above my head. A woman with a black jumpsuit and reddish hair grabs the bat, swings it up, and I land on the floor hard. I can't think. Why is the sky blue? I never knew the answer in the first place. There's a little fuzziness. I open my eyes to see the lady and Pepper standing over me. "It's garbage day," I say, drearily.
"I'm so sorry." She says looking worried. "If I had known you were not a bad guy I wouldn't have done that."
"No no don't feel bad. I'm okay. Just a broken back and my good old turkey next to me. Right cockerdoodles?"
"She's not okay" Pepper states.
I wake up on the couch. "I'm glad your alright," The lady says. "I'm Natasha Romanova."
"Ooooh, too many words" I moan. "Wait. Black widow? Oh my gosh, I adore you!"
"Thanks!" She laughs. We talk and talk for hours after that. I see Pepper come up behind Natasha.
"You know Nat," I start. Natasha looks back at Pepper.
"She's not the most formal person ever," Pepper explains. Natasha nods.
"You're the best combat human I know. Could you teach me a little fighting stuff? Right now there are bad people in my hometown."
"Sure, but you better be careful."
"I tripped over a snail and broke my arm once. I'm going to try my best." I say.
She teaches me a flip and hits and kicks and punches, but she says they take practice.
It's now my fourth day in New York and it's been three days since Tony left. "Happy, I'm going home today," I say coming downstairs with now three suitcases.
"Alright" he takes my suitcases.
Pepper looks very sad. "Be sure you come back to drink sparkling ginger ale with me." She hugs me.
"Pepper, if you haven't learned from now I'm not the most emotional person but I will definitely come back to drink sparkling ginger ale with you," I say hugging her.
I walk to Natasha. We stand for a second then out of the blue she throws a punch. I quickly get a gut feeling and dodge. I can tell we're both surprised because I've never done that before. "You're coming along strong and quick." She says and leans in for a hug.
Happy and I spend most of the car ride talking. Two identical black cars come out in front of us going extremely fast. I see one behind us too. OH MY BANANA WALRUS! We're in a car chase!
"STEP ON IT HAPPY!" I yell.
He steps on the peddle and we start going really fast like a billion miles per hour. All of a sudden the cars peel off and there's a big screen and people getting beat up. Happy doesn't have time to stop so we end up accidentally driving into two men who were grasping Ida.
"I can't believe it. You guys were having a movie night without me." I say sticking my head out of the window.
