"Come on, please wake up…" it was Sheik's voice sounding distressed as she was carried.

Linkette shifted a bit to show she was waking up, opening her eyes. Her eyes showed her unhappiness at seeing him.

"Thank Hylia," he held her close, "and I'm sorry. I really am. Your position was compromised so I had to move you. I'm just trying to find a good place now."

Linkette nodded, reminding herself the situation didn't allow for her to express how furious she was at him. The anger did make itself clearer when she saw her sword on his back.

"...If it helps, I haven't actually used it. I've just been keeping it on my person to make sure it's safe." It may not respond to Sheik that well either…

The look on her face showed it didn't really help much, as she couldn't help but feel betrayed a bit. 'Put me down.' She mouthed.

He carefully set her on her feet with a soft apology. She somehow managed to reclaim her sword, holding it close to her, despite how ridiculous she looked given that she was in her nightgown and robe. She started walking off, heading towards the armory to try and find something that fit.

"Linkette, you can't!" Sheik quickly followed after her, "It's too risky!"

Linkette ignored him, taking off running, trying to remember what floor they were on as she saw an open window and possible escape.

"Don't you dare!" He was faster and hauled her away from the window, "You don't have any magic that could protect you from the fall! Even then, pregnancy can mess with spell casting and accuracy!"

Linkette elbowed him hard where guys do not want to be injured. I think I just committed treason. She realized as she was able to get away, soon skillfully out the window and working on climbing down to a safe jumping distance, showing no fear at the height as she somehow found foot and handholds.

Sheik was down for a moment while his magic helped him recover from the blow. Note to self: see if additional armor can be added there. Once he got his second wind and was less sore, he looked down to find her climbing with no issues. "...Are you part squirrel or something!?"

Linkette paid him no mind, finally getting low enough - for her - to jump off, it still being a bit high for a regular Hylian. She dived into the landing, going into a successful, though not quite graceful roll to absorb the impact. She shook herself off and went rushing off, drawing her weapon to defeat the monsters, planning on going to her house to put on armor of some kind. She stopped as she saw the King of Evil himself make his appearance. He's huge. How am I going to defeat him?

"Foolish girl," Raja had found her and teleported her out of view before she was spotted, "and I know the Hyrulean legends well enough to recognize the hilt of your sword. You...should have used your head more instead of using it to butt against other's own."

Linkette gave her a look to say, 'who are you to judge me'. She gripped her sword tighter in fear of it being taken away again, not panicking as she recognized the Sage of Spirits from her vision.

"Someone with more experience with the blade and with life than you, little pup," Raja stated cooly as she started leading her elsewhere, "your friend had finished his quest inside his temple, hopefully that will be a safe place until the time is needed."

Linkette resisted being led away, digging her heels in the best she could. She had a battle to finish before Ganon killed Zelo. She couldn't fail.

"If that's how you want to play it…" Raja easily picked her up and draped her over her shoulders then went along like this was a totally natural thing to do. Linkette kicked and squirmed the whole way. It was her choice, damn it! "Don't spend your energy doing this, you'll only wear yourself out before the needed time."

Linkette gave in, heart sinking as she saw Ganon approaching the castle from the distance, nearly being there. He'll kill him. And I can do nothing from here. Her breathing hitched in panic and just expecting the sheer amount of grief that was to come, already feeling her heart breaking.

"If you give up hope now, he's already won." Raja's tone had a slight scolding to it, "You have to trust the prince - he's gotten this far without dying, hasn't he?"

Linkette provided no answer, just a glare. It was clear who she'd blame if things went south. She was the hero and needed to be there fighting. Her only condolence was that the other sages were rushing to the castle after Ganon.

"On yer six, Beau!"

"On it!" Beau took out his crossbow and fired a few Light Bolts at the monsters that tried to ambush him. Since they were beings of dark they were turned into smoke in an instant. He sighed in relief and then returned the favor with one that tried to sneak attack his cousin.

"We need to catch up, he's just outside the Castle!" Damia encouraged them on, downing another potion to keep going, as did Aiden. Both young women were nearing their limit.

"Better yet, we make a distraction!" Dale noticed some barrels and got that look in his eyes as he started rolling them around while lighting them on fire.

"I...don't really think…" Beau sighed, he knew this was quickly becoming a lost cause. Then he got his cousin's idea when the flaming barrels were tossed up and out thanks to the ground under the cobblestone paths. "That's actually pretty smart!" And reckless, but that's just Dale in a nutshell.

"I git my moments."

The group soon began their fight against Ganon, waiting for Sheik to show back up, hopefully with the Master Sword. Surprisingly it was Prince Zelo who showed up instead, descending from somewhere up high and launching spectacular arrows made of pure light magic. The sages, minus Raja who was carrying Linkette away, started using their own unique skills to attack him, working on sealing him using their energy. Linkettte started struggling to escape again, knowing she needed to attack with her weapon to finish the job.

"Fine, fine...I had hoped to hide you away until the needed moment, but it seems the others sped up the timeframe." Raja then booked it to where Ganondorf was screaming bloody murder due to their attacks.

Once she was put down Linkette went to fight as well, praying once again to the Goddess of Courage. Somehow Ganon started to weaken, giving Linkette the chance to start rushing in to deal the final blow. She rushed to do so but a wave of nausea gave her pause, missing the moment. She raised her sword to defend instead when a blast of dark magic was hurled at her.

Raja double-teamed with Zelo to keep Ganondorf distracted while Beau tried his magic on Linkette to try and ease her issue. The fight started to drag out, Ganon going to deal what would be a death blow to the prince with his trident.

'No!' Linkette screamed silently, before she felt a surge of energy as she rushed forward to block the attack, getting injured in her efforts to parley the stab. Luckily she was able to power through the pain and force her sword upwards and into Ganon's heart, defeating the evil man. She released the sword as the pain came rushing in from the gouge in her shoulder/upper torso.

"Linkette!" Zelo started to panic on seeing the blood.

Raja quickly pulled Linkette away from the dying heathen and beckong both Beau and Prince Zelo over, "She'll need both of you to recover from this, hurry up!"

"Yes ma'am!" They quickly came to her side and combined their magic to undo Ganon's damage.

Linkette ended up passing out, even as her wounds started healing. All around them had the monsters disappearing, allowing others to rush to help and rush to get any nearby doctors. Damia started using whatever healing magic she knew to try and help as well, along with Arew.

"Is she-"

"She's fine, she just fainted from shock." Raja assured. "A stab with a trident will do that to someone."

"The blow was pretty heavy though," Damia examined it, "granted it didn't help she was in her nightclothes."

"I will...replace those." Zelo stated quietly, knowing that he had a decent chunk of the blame there.

Raja used a bit of her Spirit Sage magic to remind Linkette that she can't sleep for long since there was work to be done and that she's fully healed now. Linkette's spirit didn't respond, in a deep slumber due to the magic used to seal Ganon using the sword. This got her a little worried and figured that she and Zelo needed to work on this in a more magically-inclined area, to which Zelo agreed and quickly brought them to his family's secret study. Linkette started to finally come to the next morning, waking up enough to reposition herself before rolling over and curling up to get a proper nap in. This just made everyone groan but happy she was out of her comatose state. She woke up for real a few hours later, trying not to feel weird at seeing the audience.

"How do you feel?" Zelo inquired while trying not to sound as nervous as he felt.

She shrugged, feeling fine, though a touch hungry and thirsty. Luckily it seemed Aiden doped it out as she left and returned with a light meal for Linkette. Linkette gave her a thankful smile before starting to eat, starting the game of ignoring Zelo.

"She's gonna need more than that," Dale knew his friend and went to get something a bit more substantial, and maybe some cheese as it was a bit of a comfort food.

"She just woke up after being out almost a day. A heavy meal will upset her stomach," Aiden scolded when he returned, being right as Linkette gingerly ate her food instead of wolfing it down.

"Maybe we should give her some space," Damia was picking up Linkette looking uncomfortable at all the attention.

Everyone quietly agreed and did so, the group dissolving after exiting the room and going about their merry ways. Oddly enough, Prince Nelis went to join Raja in exploring the grounds. It seems only Zelo stayed by the door, turning into Sheik once he was alone and stood guard.
