Chapter 37: Catching Up, Part 3

Back in the classroom, Jordin was seeing what Chimon was doing.

"So you're a Stand User as well, Mr. Nishikawa?" Jordin asked.

"I see that you can see something that I have as well." Chimon replied. "Your friend wanted to escape, I can tell."

"I… I wasn't trying to escape!" Daichi shouted. "And let me go! I'll behave, damn it!"

"This is not Elementary School, Daichi!"

A pencil was then seen floating with Chimon's Stand through telekinesis. It then fired at Daichi, but was stopped by Jordin's Hybrid Theory.

"Ah! That's your Stand!" Chimon said. "It looks unique compared to mine, but I won't let you fight me easily!"

Chimon's Stand then had Jordin caught under its telekinesis as well. Both Jordin and Daichi are now under the control of telekinesis.

"My Stand is known as One Republic." Chimon said. "Using telekinesis to make you float from one area to another."

"Let us go!" Daichi shouted.

Chimon thinks for a moment.

"Letting you go easily is a dumb move for me…" Chimon said. "However, if you want to be free, I'll quiz you. Not only will you pass this quiz and make me let you go, but I'll increase your grades for staying after class with me to make up for your grades…"

"Well please do, damn it!" Daichi shouted.

A rock was then seen floating under One Republic's telekinesis.

"Language, Daichi!" Chimon said. "Or else this rock will be making an impact on you!"

Daichi then gulps.

"Sorry…" Daichi said as he looked away.

"We'll accept." Jordin said. "We'll accept your offer to quiz us to boost our grades."

"So it's settled." Chimon said. "Give me a minute before we could get started…"

Back outside, Koi, Hatsuki and Taiyo looked at Sakura and her Stand.

"Quit staring at me!" Sakura shouted as she noticed that one of them was staring at her Stand next to her. "Huh… You three can actually see my Stand, eh? Yes, I too have something that you three have in the school as well! But keep doing your push-ups, or else my Strange Weather will zap you with lightning!"

Continuing with push-ups, Hatsuki struggled.

"Strange Weather, isn't it?" Hatsuki said. "If I am correct, then her Stand must have the power to manipulate the weather!"

Hatsuki then lay on the ground, exhausted.

"That's the best I can do!" Hatsuki shouted.

Sakura sighed.

"Never listened to me about not giving up…" Sakura said. "I suppose this will do the trick."

Strange Weather then created a bubble with an acid in it.

"One of you tried to give up, eh? Well let's see how this will pep you up!" Sakura shouted as her Strange Weather shot the acidic bubble to the rain cloud. "Time for an acid rain!"

"Acid rain?!" Koi shouted as he grabbed onto Hatsuki. "Let's get out of the rain!"

As soon as Koi, Hatsuki and Taiyo left the rain cloud, the acidic bubble then popped inside the cloud, creating an acid rain.

"Shit! That was close!" Taiyo shouted as she then saw the sun shining. "I don't want to hurt a teacher, but it's worth getting us out of here!"

Walking On The Sun then appeared to shoot out beams of lights near the area splitting Sakura and Taiyo and her friends. Rocks then started to shoot out to the ground from the beams.

"Taiyo… I see that your Stand can do something like that, eh?" Sakura asked.

"Here's an obstacle course for you, Miss Endoh!" Taiyo shouted. "Try to get past those rocks being fallen from the beam of lights that's separating us!"

Sakura smiled.

"With pleasure." Sakura said as her Strange Weather then summoned another small sphere with a rainstorm in it and then used it on herself.

"Is she really using her Stand's ability on herself?" Koi said.

"Just to keep myself hidden under the rain, this will be a piece of cake!"

Sakura then ran past the beams. None of the beams hit the cloud under Sakura. She successfully ran past all of them and was now on the other side.

"No more messing around you three!" Sakura said. "Drop your Stand, Taiyo, and we'll continue this!"

Taiyo was silent.

"What's it gonna be, Taiyo?" Sakura asked.

"Only for you to not attack us, then it's fine on us…" Taiyo replied.

Walking On The Sun then faded away. The wind was blowing. Sakura then started to laugh.

"Ha ha ha!" Sakura shouted. "Screw the whole exercising shit! I'll let you past these obstacles from Strange Weather!"

"Since when did she go insane?!" Hatsuki shouted.

"I don't know, but you two are gonna have to stop her!" Koi shouted. "My Stand isn't good for combat like this!"

Hatsuki and Taiyo both nodded as their Stands appeared.

"Good luck you two!" Koi shouted.

Back inside, Chimon was down thinking.

"Ok! Listen up!" Chimon said. "I will quiz you two! If you all at least get 3 questions right for this quiz, then One Republic will let you go, and I will boost your grade up. Just don't tell ANYONE here, got it?"

"Yes sir." Jordin replied.

"Uh, yes sir." Daichi replied.

"Good. Let's get started."

Chimon holds up a rock.

"What type of rock is this?" Chimon asked. "Is it an Igneous rock, a Metamorphic rock or a Sedimentary rock?"

Jordin and Daichi then tried their best to take a closer look at the rock Chimon was holding.

"It's got small crystals in it and around it…" Daichi said.

"I don't think they are crystals." Jordin said.

"But they look like crystals, so it's gotta be Sedimentary."

Daichi looks at Chimon.

"Our answer is Sedimentary!" Daichi said.

"Jordin, do you agree with him?" Chimon asked.

"Yes, I do agree with him." Jordin replied.

"Well, it is Sedimentary! Correct, you two."

Jordin and Daichi both sighed in relief.

"Only one question right… A streak has started." Chimon said. "Three in a row and you're out of here… This next question will get harder, so focus up!"

Chimon then got out a modeled volcano.

"Where in the world has the most active volcanoes?" Chimon asked.

"Oh! Easy!" Daichi shouted. "Hawaii!"

"And he got it again…" Jordin said. "Mr. Nishikawa, is that the right answer? Hawaii?"

"Hmm… You're right again!" Chimon said. "Heh heh… Only one more to go…"

Chimon then took a deep breath and looked outside. He looked back to Jordin and Daichi.

"Which thunderstorm component kills the most people each year?" Chimon asked.

"Uhhh… I don't know." Daichi replied.

"And you don't know…" Jordin said. "Can I answer this time?"

"Please do!" Daichi shouted. "And please get it right!"

"I will! Um… The most people killed by what… Um… Damn…"

Then, everyone heard water flowing real hard.

"What on Earth?" Chimon said. "Might have been outside of something. Anyways, take your time, Jordin."

"Water…" Jordin said. "Outside…"

Jordin then gasped.

"Flooding!" Jordin shouted.

"Flooding?" Chimon said. "Daichi, do you agree?"

"Yes!" Daichi replied.

Chimon turned back.

"Let them go, One Republic." Chimon whispered to his Stand.

One Republic then removed all of the things under its telekinetic control, including Jordin and Daichi.

"Yes! We're out of here!" Daichi shouted.

"Wait, you two!" Chimon shouted. "Before you leave, let me tell you something. I'm glad that you are able to come through without the need of using your Stands against me. Daichi, I don't even know what yours look like, but whatever."

Then they all heard lightning struck.

"What now?!" Chimon said as he checked outside from the window to see something. "Oh no! Boys! Follow me, we have to go see the Principal!"

"What's going on?" Jordin asked.

"Sakura Endoh, your Gym teacher is acting strange from the wind that's blowing through her…"

"Wind?! Are you about to go crazy?!" Daichi shouted.

"I'll tell you all later! Follow me!"

All of them left the classroom to go to the Principal's office.
