Men in Black and DC crossover

(A/N: I own nothing read last chapter and read Velgamidragon's We Are the Men in Black.)

Gin lit his one cigarette for the day as he set up the portable lights and heard his phone buzz for a text but he didn't read it yet. He was busy at the moment.

"Gin what the hell is going on? You seem to suspect us both of being traitors!" Bourbon yelled at him from within the nearly pitch black warehouse.

"From the information Rum received from Curacao after she broke into the NPA headquarters two nights ago…you have been named traitors." Gin said and then the lights dramatically cut on to flood the two suspected traitors in light.

Bourbon and Kir were both handcuffed to a central load bearing beam as they stared at him either grim or shocked, alongside Vermouth. After all this was Vermouth and Bourbons first time hearing about the two being traitors.

"Traitors?" Vermouth questioned frowning at him and looking confused.

"From Curacao? She broke into the NPA headquarters and stole the NOC list and it wasn't authorized by Rum. Even if it was there was nothing on that list you don't already know!" Bourbon yelled as he glared darkly at Gin who didn't bat an eye at that.

"Not by Rum but by me." Gin said referring to who gave Curacao authorization for her break in.

"And you're right about the NOC list not having anything I don't already know but Curacao acquired information from other sources that paint a very different story." Gin said glaring them both down coldly and making Kir snort inelegantly.

"And that's a load of shit if I've ever heard one. If we were confirmed traitors then you'd have shot us dead already not dragged us here and put this whole show on. Whatever information Curacao got from another source isn't enough to confirm us as traitors and you know that, and there's no way it's enough to confirm me of being a traitor because I'm not one!" Kir said glaring at him but her eyes were a bit jerky. She didn't like being handcuffed thank you very much.

"What even would be my motivation for betraying the Organization!?" Kir demanded and Gin flicked his gaze to focus on her solely for a moment.

"The MiB's failure to keep your father from being killed or finding you fast enough to save you from your torture." Gin said making Kir sneer right back at him.

"Right now the only ones I blame for that is the alien that I killed and the blond asshole in front of me that apparently can't tell when his judgement is clouded too much to be of any use." Kir said and Gin would deny that her words hurt but not as much as the fear he saw lingering in her gaze as she stared at him.

"And for Bourbon, the MiBs inability to prove the truth of what happened to Scotch and failure to exact justice for his perceived murder." Gin said focusing on Bourbon and trying to pretend he didn't hear Kir at all.

"She's right that is bullshit!" Bourbon said glaring darkly at Gin now as well.

"I've heard of worse reasons." Gin said with a derisive snort of his own while Vermouth was frowning heavily.

"Like I already said! If you really thought that we were traitors you would have already killed us, especially after I disarmed you twice in the Parking Garage. You know that dark place that you literally abducted me from, the one with the cameras everywhere that no doubt someone saw me being taken to your car at gun point?" Kir asked glaring at him and already knowing how much of a pain in the ass it would be to try and explain that later if her 'abduction' was put onto the news. Vodka winced as he realized how bad of a move that had been on his and Gin's part while Vermouth frowned heavily. Such an oversight wasn't usually like Gin.

"That's true…however." Gin said and then pulled out his gun and aimed it at the two.

"Gin/Aniki!" Vermouth and Vodka both protested, looking just as shocked and alarmed as Kir and Bourbon did at the sight of him drawing a weapon on them.

"My way is to root out trouble at it's earliest stages. So…" He spat out his cigarette and squished it underfoot now.

"Let the judgement of the traitors commence!"

Gin fired and the sound of the shot echoed loudly throughout the enclosed space. There was the sound of a good bit of liquid hitting the ground followed by a small metallic clatter as Kir dropped to her knees with a cry of pain, her eyes screwed shut.

There was a new hole in the left shoulder of her jacket and just under the joint itself as the jacket quickly became stained by blood.

"You shot at her even-"

SLAM!

Bourbon was cut off as he stared wide eyed, just like the others, at the sight of Vodka moving forward with surprising speed and slamming his fist into Gin's jaw.

"You ass! You promised me! You promised that you wouldn't hurt her unless she was proven to be a traitor!" Vodka shouted as he stood in front of Gin who had stumbled back a step just as surprised as everyone else before Vodka immediately turned and raced over to Kir's side.

"Demi? Oh god Hidemi I'm so sorry. I had no idea he'd actually hurt you." Vodka said immediately taking off his suit jacket and using it to try and put pressure on the wound while Hidemi leaned into him as he kneeled next to her.

"He's definitely not going to be the godfather." Hidemi muttered under her breath and Vodka pondered that for half a second but was more focused on the bleeding wound in her shoulder.

"Back away Vodka. We still hadn't confirmed her loyalty." Gin said standing and clicking his jaw back into place while Vodka glared darkly at him from behind his glasses.

"I respect you a hell of a lot Aniki but right now you can go to hell! Kir's right about your judgement being clouded by your emotions! You're so worried about a possible traitor and so mad and worried about what's going on with your sister that you can't even think straight! You're acting like a damn rabid dog!" Vodka shouted at his superior even as he stayed by Kirs side and held the jacket to her wound.

"I am a dog. A dog loyal to the Organization. That's more than we can say for these rats. Now step back and get ready to start a countdown. I'll give you rats one minute of grace, and whichever one of you sells out the other gets to witness a rats miserable death." Gin said and he already had his gun aimed at Bourbon and Kir again although Vodka shuffled slightly closer to her so that he was protectively covering her with his body.

"Fuck off! I'm not going to be a part of this with the way you're acting now! Do your own damn countdown and be prepared to shoot me too if you want to hurt Kir!" Vodka yelled and Gin tched in annoyance and anger but set a timer on his phone and turned up the volume so that they could hear the countdown.

"Looks like the traitor got her claws too deep into you then. Very well. Have it your way Vodka." Gin said coldly as he started the countdown.

"60 seconds." The timer announced. Now that it started the pressure was on. Were they mind controlled traitors or were they genuine? He'd know soon enough and he hoped for Vodka's sake that Kir was genuine.

"Like that will work on me!" Kir shouted near snarling at him and he noted the way her eyes bounced to Vodka worriedly before glaring back at him.

"If she said she's a traitor she'd be admitting it, and there's no way you'd overlook something like that!" Bourbon said glancing at Kir but mainly focusing on Gin.

"Fifty seconds."

"I wonder about that. I'm kinder than you think, isn't that right Kir?" Gin asked turning the gun back onto her and Vodka and increasing the pressure.

"Oh yeah, taking a traumatized woman and putting her back into the same kind of situation that traumatized her to start with. Real kind there." Kir snarked at him although there was sweat on her brow and her shoulders were trembling a bit. He could tell she was scared, she wasn't able to hide it, but she wasn't admitting anything yet.

"So you're accomplices and have decided to help each other huh?" Gin asked not saying anything about what she had said.

"Help each other? I don't even know if she's a traitor or not." Bourbon said glancing at Kir.

"Me either, but I swear I'm not a traitor! You'd know that if you were thinking clearly!" Kir declared even as the timer said they had thirty seconds.

"That's my line!" Bourbon exclaimed.

"Now…" Gin grinned savagely like a rabid animal.

"Twenty seconds." The timer announced.

"Which of you is the rat?" Gin asked in a soft sinister tone that sent chills down their backs.

"Gin, don't tell me you're serious about this!" Vermouth said and Gin's eyes flashed at how she actually looked concerned. Well, well. Was his tactic working on her as well?

"Which of you will bail first?" Gin demanded, his tone becoming near feral as his gun turned back to Kir and Vodka.

"Ten…nine"

Down to very end then!

"Eight…seven…"

"Well then?" Gin demanded, they were running out of time! If they were going to do something they had to do it soon!

"Six…five…"

"You, Bourbon?" Gin asked switching the gun back to him, were they going to preserve or break?

"Four… three…"

"Kir!" It was now or never and noticed how her legs tensed.

"Two…" Bourbon suddenly dropped to his knees and Gin's eyes flashed. Gotcha!

"One…"

"You go first…"

"Zero!"

"Bourbon!"

BANG!
