Flying cars and Redhead teenagers
Summary: There's no need to break Harry out of a room with bars on the window, but this doesn't stop the group from taking a flying car. After all, their teenagers. What do you expect?
It was the twin's idea.
They've been hearing about their dad talk of a flying car for weeks so naturally they wanted to drive it. Mum said no, and dad went along with mum and also said no because it would break the rules, but honestly, they'll be super good at riding and it and they promise they won't let anyone see them. Maybe, possible not after all it was a flying car with Fred and George something bound to go wrong.
They tried to sneak into it, but Percy has a strange six sense that seems to alert him whenever the pair we're even close to it. And, this is where Fred comes up with the idea and George thinks it is brilliant. Get Holly to go along because if anyone can convince Percy to do anything it's Holly. Problem? She lived in a muggle area and the twins weren't good at using the phone yet. (Although, their better at using it compared to Ron who shouts every time he speaks into it.)
They also can't use Floo power because Mr. and Mrs Dane didn't have a fireplace so they would either have to wait for a respond by letter, or wait for Harry and Holly to come over. Which they do come over because it's the holidays and the families tend to visit one another. Which is odd, seeing Percy interest in anything that wasn't studying. They go along with it and ask Holly if she could convince Percy to come along with them on a ride in a flying car. Of course, Holly wanted to go to because it's a flying car and then Ron and Harry somehow get tied into it.
Not what the twins had expected, but they go along with it. All they need to do is get Percy to go along with and despite the chill of the night Percy still says no.
"No, I will not go into a flying car. Do you know how much trouble father would get into if we get caught?"
"Please," Holly said for the tenth time.
"No."
"But I want to."
"No."
"Pretty please."
"This is getting us nowhere. We're going to be here all night," Ron said to Harry.
"Wait for it," Harry said.
So, they wait until Holly wears Percy out and Percy pitch the bridge of his nose.
"Fine, but I'm coming with you at least that way you won't get stuck in a tree."
"Silly Percy," Holly said. "That doesn't happen until Harry and Ron head to Hogwarts."
And, so their off. The twins flying in the car and fighting over who get to drive. Percy got a headache. Ron also wanted to drive, but the twins say no because it's their turn. While Harry and Holly are playing rock, paper, scissors. Naturally, they get caught and their mother isn't please nor was Mrs. Dane when she found out, but it was totally worth it because that was so much fun. The twins are pretty sure even Percy smiled for a second.
Although, Holly was right about one thing. Ron and Harry did get the car stuck in a tree with Holly moving on with life talking about giant snakes in pipes and people turning to stone. The twins won't lie, they start to wonder if Holly was telling the truth and not speaking nonsense by the time the fifth student petrified.
