Edric sighs as he lays on the couch, his eyes closed as he rests. A blanket over him, a pillow underneath his head, the fire is going in the fireplace nearby, and the pets are sleeping in their little beds. Tentacles move around and wrap around his neck before he opens his eyes and smiles. He looks down at the squid lying on top of him with her little blanket for a squid size. "Cutie," he whispers, and Caveira squirms when she hears him. "What are you doing out of bed? I thought you would be with Callie and Marie upstairs," Edric says.
Caveira sighs and snuggles her head against his chest. "I want more time with you."
"Room for one more?" Tsunami asks, peaking over the couch.
"Be my guest," Edric says, allowing her to walk around before getting underneath the blanket with him.
Tsunami sighs and happily wraps her arms around him. "Sorry, it wasn't much."
"It's fine. Did the four of us keep you up late?" Edric asks as he closes his eyes again.
"Kinda," Tsunami shrugs before humming. "I do wonder how you handle things still like that."
"I have my tentacles full a lot of the time. So, I now just want to lay back and chill for a bit. You?" Edric asks.
Tsunami hums teasingly. "Sleep."
"And I am just resting my eyes and relaxing and waiting for Callie or Marie to start cooking," Edric says cheekily.
"Lazy…" Caveira moans before sighing in relief as he scratches behind her head.
"Says the squid who is lying on top of m…" Edric stops when Callie's scream is heard throughout the house.
Every girl picks their head up and looks towards the stairs. "Callie?" Caveira asks, concerned.
Edric wastes no time and changes to a squid to super jump to the stairs before rushing up, then tripping, hitting his knees a few times on the steps along the way. "Ow, ow," Edric mutters and reaches the bathroom before throwing open the door. "What's going on?! I got a bat, and I'm not afraid to use it," he calls to the room and only sees Callie standing there in the middle, shocked to the figurative bone. "Callie, what is wrong?" Edric asks, walking up to her only to be brought into a hug that Edric half expected would break a bone if he had one as an inkling. "Callie?"
"Edric, something wonderful has happened," Callie says, incredibly happy.
"You came into ownership of a very rare guitar or one signed by an artist you love to listen to?" Edric asks.
"No," Callie cheerfully responds, hugging him tighter.
"What then?" Edric asks, looking up to her.
"I'm going to be a mom," Callie says, causing Marie to fall from the ceiling with Cameow.
Edric misstep and slowly steps back. Marie rushes to catch him, but he screams out and falls into the tub. "Ow…"
"Oh, I am so ready for this," Callie says excitedly, like she was going to be getting a bag of cookies.
"What happened?" Edric groans, dazed, as Marie pulls him out of the tub.
"Pregnancy test," Callie informs, showing him it said 'Positive.'
"Oh," Edric groans and rubs his head before stopping. "Wait. What?!" he calls, shocked.
"How does it feel, daddy?" Callie asks, smirking before getting out her squidphone and starts calling someone.
Edric shakes in shock now while Marie holds him up, so he doesn't fall again. "A…dad…"
"Hey, mom, is dad there with you?" Callie asks. "He is, then, put it on speaker. I got news for you both," Callie informs, smirking. "Hey, I hope you are both ready to be grandparents," Callie says, practically glowing with pride.
"We will be downstairs, Callie," Marie says, helping Edric downstairs.
"A…dad…" Edric mutters in utter shock as Marie drags him down the stairs.
"What happened?" Caveira asks, seeing the state he was in.
"Callie's pregnant," Marie informs.
Caveira slowly gasps while Tsunami blinks and looks toward Edric. "I guess he wasn't prepared," Tsunami notes.
"Not at all. Drinks?" Marie asks as she sets him down on the couch.
"Might as well since we are up," Caveira replies, checking Edric carefully.
"Smack him lightly and try to get him to regain his senses," Marie informs before getting some sodas from the fridge before heading back.
Caveira lifts Edric's head before slapping him across the cheek and makes his gasps. "Welcome to the world of the living and real."
"…Callie is going to be soon posting that to her social media, isn't she?" Edric asks.
Marie smiles and sits by him, handing him a soda can. "Yeah. Relax okay. We will help, okay?" Marie reassures and reminds.
"Well, you three did sign up for this when you moved in," Edric informs. Tsunami and Caveira blush to the side as Edric starts to smile. "A dad. I can't believe it," he chuckles a little.
"Believe it. It's happening. The first hybrid of inkling and humans," Marie says, going to make tea.
Edric chuckles a little before tearing up. "After all this time. And here I thought I would have someone back then. Now I have an inkling, a squid hybrid creature, as a wife and soon to be a mother."
"Hey, what are we?" Tsunami asks, sounding a bit offended.
Caveira lightly smacks Tsunami on the back of her head and makes her click her teeth in annoyance. "Well, you have us still," Caveira assures and sits by him before hugging him. "I'm so glad you will have a squishie of your own."
"From what I have learned. It's also technically all of your squishie, too," Edric reminds.
Caveira hums and nuzzles him while he wraps an arm around her. "You're the one who gave things a chance. And look where you are now."
"You're going to have to help the youngest get used to looking after a squishie," Edric reminds, looking at Tsunami.
Tsunami smiles. "I can handle myself. Don't worry."
"…how do you feed a squishie?" Caveira asks, turning her head to Tsunami.
"Hum…you use a bottle?" Tsunami asks questionably.
"How do you use the bottle?" Caveira asks, getting a blank look from her. "I will run you through how to care for one," Caveira informs.
Marie shakes her head at this before her squidphone buzzes. Looking at it, she sees Callie had posted something. "Let's see what she has said."
"Is it something funny or a bad joke?" Eric asks sarcastically.
"Hey, all my fans, I got a bit of a heads up. My schedule may be a bit disrupted for a bit because…I am pregnant and looking forward to having a squishy," Marie reads before starting to type a comment. 'Callie, you were supposed to talk to our manager before releasing this kind of statement.'
Eric smiles and leans his head against Marie. "She's just excited. Give her a break."
"Oh, I see what you are doing there. You are confirming it for the fans," Caveira says.
Marie slowly smiles before kissing Eric's cheek. "And if Eric had his account to use, he can make a little quip."
"Yeah, glad I don't because everyone knows she is with me, so they know I am the dad and would be flooded with a lot of things, both good and bad," Eric says before moving to lay his head in her lap.
Marie hums while petting his tentacle hair. "We have to get you some more clothes."
"We also need to prepare for that Halloween event we will be doing with Pearl and Marina," Eric says.
Marie smirks. "What are you going as? Hai?" she guesses with a grin.
"No, I have a costume all ready and waiting to use it, but what about you?" Eric asks.
Marie waves him off. "I already have one. And it's cute."
"I look forward to seeing it," Eric says, smirking.
Caveira rolls her eyes as she watches her mate almost fall asleep now. "He must be exhausted still."
"Head to sleep. We will wake you for food," Marie informs.
Eric hums happily, nuzzling his head against her lap. "No problem here."
"You guys have a nice trip?" Marina asks, wearing a bit of a punk version of a witch's outfit.
"Well enough," Marie says, carrying her costume in a duffle bag with her.
Eric grins while looking at Caveira, having her bag for her costume. "And some of us are ready to show off."
"Oh, and congrats on your squishy, Callie," Marina says happily.
Callie giggles and hugs herself. "I am so excited. And this handsome inkling helped out a lot," she says, wrapping a tentacle around Eric.
"So, where is Pearl?" Eric asks, petting Callie.
Marina smiles. "Getting in her costume."
"Speaking of which, we also should as well," Eric says mostly to his girls. The three girls smirk as they leer towards the guy while Eric sweats and looks at Marina. "Is it me, or is it getting hot in here?" he asks with a shaky smile.
"Ah…fifty-fifty," Marina informs, smirking.
'Oh right, she is an octoling, so she is a bit sexual,' Eric sweatdrops as he remembers.
Eric eeps when he is dragged away into the nearby room, and the door shuts behind him. Marina giggles as she waves at the sweating Eric while he tries to smile this away. "I am ready…this one still talks, right?" Pearl asks, coming downstairs in a green tunic with a sword and shield.
"You look great, Link," Marina teases.
Pearl sticks her tongue out at her before looking to the shut door. "So, what are they?"
"They didn't come in their costumes, so don't know yet," Marina answers.
Pearl grins. "Aren't you getting dressed? Maybe tease a guy or two?"
Marina gestures to herself. "I am already dressed." Pearl winks and skips away to the kitchen to grab something to eat. "Hey. What was that wink for?" Marina questions after the smaller inkling.
"Well, aren't you kinda looking?" Pearl inquires while getting a Halloween theme cookie from the table.
Marina looks back to the door as they hear Edric grunting as they assume he is being forced into his outfit. "Ow. Okay, that pinches. Should have measured it again."
"You look cute," Callie remarks.
"You would know, wouldn't you love," Edric says, making the room go silent.
"…did you break her?" Marie asks.
"I think so."
"Callie, come on. Callie…if you don't start responding, you won't get the cookies."
"I think she is broken."
Marina slowly looks back to Pearl, who shrugs and grabs more cookies.
"I got this. Callie, how many names have you narrowed down for the squishie?" Caveira asks.
"Six," Callie says immediately.
"She's back," Edric happily reports, and they hear some hands being clapped. "Job well done."
"For each gender or in general?" Marie asks.
"Three each," Callie says, and the two other pop stars swear she is smiling.
"Huh, thought you would only be down to a dozen by now…also, you need any help there?" Edric asks.
"Get this off me first, and we can talk too," Callie remarks, and Pearl notices Marina gaining a blushing blue head.
"I have so many jokes for that, but someone could be listening, and you may smack me for how bad they are," Eric says before the two hear a loud zipper.
Marina gulps as Pearl places a cookie in her mouth, and Marina slowly chews while staring at the door.
"Having some of those thoughts?" Pearl asks, knowing the squid sisters were some of her idols.
Marina just slowly chews the cookie in her mouth while her fingers twitch at every noise coming out from the room. "Oh. Watch those, Edric. Those are sensitive. You know that," Callie reminds, with a quick 'Sorry,' from Edric. That almost threatened to make Marina's nose bleed.
"We got it from here. Go check on the stage for us," Caveira instructs.
"You sure?" Edric asks, sounding like he is still struggling to dress Callie.
"Yeah, I am," Caveira assures.
Edric seems silent for a while before Marie and Callie giggles. "You can stare later, handsome," Marie reminds.
Edric comes out of the dressing room now in a cowboy costume with his dualies in holsters on his hips and even a lasso as well.
"Oh. Cowboy. So those things work?" Pearl asks, smirking.
"Yep, but I will show off why I choose this costume before the show," Edric says, smirking.
Pearl giggles. "I think Marina here wants to have a sneak peek," she says, bumping her hips against Marina's legs and making the frozen octoling jump.
"Oh, don't worry, everyone here is going to get to see it. Also, no, I will not dress up to be Zelda if you would ask. Maybe Sheik, but not Zelda," Edric half-jokes.
"Oh. Someone's a history buff," Pearl teases and leans over, grinning.
"At least you don't have Navi," Edric jokes.
"Navi's cool," Pearl comments, and they see Edric pale profoundly. "Was it something I said?"
"One moment," Edric says before pulling out his squid phone and pulls something up before Pearl hears Navi's voice just keep repeating, "Hey! Listen!" over and over again.
Pearl shrugs. "Doesn't seem so…"
"It's like this the entire game," Edric says, patting her shoulder, and heads to the cookie plate. "Who made these anyway?" he asks, biting into a piece.
"Not sure," Pearl informs as she starts to see how Navi could be annoying.
Edric hums happily and takes a few more cookies. "Wish I made some for you girls," he says with his mouth full.
"So, how is married life with two rockstars?" Pearl questions smirking at him as the dressing room door opens.
Edric looks back at her while still chewing away. "Well, it's enjoyable and sometimes relaxing."
"So, what do you think?" Callie asks suggestively as she is wearing a devil or succubus-like costume. Edric is kind of unsure which it was.
"Um…well…" Edric stutters as his eyes trail over the outfit.
"Callie, don't tease too much," Caveira instructs, walking out in a sexy witch costume. Edric chews once more before swallowing as he stares at his first girl, who turns to look at him. "What…wait. Where's Marie?" Edric asks suspiciously before feeling himself being grabbed from behind and felt something 'bite' into his neck.
"Nom," Marie playfully hums, and Edric looks over to his shoulder to see a winking Marie in a vampire outfit. "Hey, handsome. You taste good," she says, muffled through the playful bite.
"So I got a vampiress, a witch, and a…you a succubus or a devil Callie?" Edric inquires, leaning his head against Marie.
Callie smirks and gives a sexy pose as only Edric notices Marina looks completely flustered behind the girls. "Take your pick, handsome."
"You said you wanted to see why I chose this costume, right?" Edric asks, looking to Pearl as Callie makes her way to the cookies. Pearl nods and Edric smirks as he gets the lasso, and Marie smirks as he gets it going before Callie lets out a cry as she had been lassoed now.
Edric drags her to himself before hugging her. "That is why. So I have an excuse to do that," Edric explains as Marie chuckles at Callie's expense.
"Oh, I see," Pearl says, smirking a bit, getting the idea as Marina drools a bit, watching that.
"Edric," Callie growls.
"Marie, you want me to show off the knot tying techniques, I know?" Edric asks with an evil smirk.
Marie grins. "Go ahead. Make sure she doesn't skip out on her diet."
"Edric, don't youAH!" Callie cries out, as the next moment, she becomes hogtied somehow.
"Ta-da!" Edric cheers, presenting the hogtied Callie who struggles in the rope. "Now, I can make you all easy to carry and hold all to myself."
"Any other knots that you know?" Caveira asks, smirking and enjoying this.
Edric hums while Callie rolls around him, trying to get out of the ropes. "Yeah. One for tying and hanging, another for tying to myself, and one more for…" he lists off.
"Edric! Untie me now or suffer my wrath!" Callie cuts off.
"Oh, and one I do want to say, but I will whisper to Marie," Edric finishes before walking over and whispering in her ear. Marie listens carefully before slowly blushing as her eyes become wide.
"Edric!" Callie yells at him.
Edric gives a small kiss to Marie, who keeps blushing and covering her mouth. He then walks over to Callie before untying the knots. "Had fun, cutie?"
"You will pay later," Callie guarantees.
"Cash or credit?" Edric counters with all the cheek he learned from Marie.
Callie groans and starts to get up and pat herself down. What both don't notice is that Marie is still blushing, and Marina has now hidden away behind a wall with a bright blue face showing from under her skin.
"Looks like the octoling couldn't take it. She must be having all kinds of kinky ideas running through her head, huh?" Edric whispers into Callie's ear.
Callie slaps him upside the head. "Oh, be quiet. At least she's more decent with you."
"So what are you hoping for? A boy or a girl?" Pearl asks, oblivious of the atmosphere.
Edric hums and taps his chin. "Callie, you want to field this one?"
Callie grins. "I am hoping for a boy. Already got the little clothes and everything."
"Oh?" Edric asks before giving her a slight pat on her ass.
Callie jumps before bumping her shoulder against his. "And a room too."
"Will she be okay?" Pearl asks, pointing to Marie, who seems to be bleeding from her nose a little.
"Marie, your nose is bleeding," Edric says, handing her a tissue.
Marie clicks her teeth in surprise and starts to wipe herself down. "A vampire bleeding…kinda strange when you think about it," Callie says out loud.
"Well, then you have the specials and movies for this show picked out?" Edric asks.
Pearl holds up a couple of movie boxes. "Right here. We are going to enjoy screaming out heads off," she cheers excitedly.
"…I got a movie for you. How about an old movie that humans made?" Edric asks, smirking.
"Edric…" Callie starts, immediately sounding very worried.
"I am listening," Pearl says, smirking.
"It's called tremors. It's a monster movie humans made," Edric informs.
"Monster movie? Is it scary? Scare your pants off, scary?" Pearl asks, getting in his face as she grins.
"A bit of a mix between that and fun," Edric informs.
"I'll take it!" Pearl yells as Marina returns with a bloody towel and an apologetic smile.
"Alright. Let me introduce it, alright? And it will take an hour and thirty-six minutes to play," Edric warns.
"Eh, most of these are thirty," Pearl points out, holding up the four movie boxes before tossing them over her shoulder. Edric then winces with Marina as they hear glass shattering.
"Well, just giving you a heads up so you can plan around it for commercials and stuff," Edric says.
"Oh, speaking of which, we are running a commercial on your game system and the first game," Pearl informs.
"...we have a commercial for that?" Edric asks, looking to Caveira.
Caveira nods. "The ones buying wanted an advertisement. I hired a company to do it."
"Ah…ok then. This is going to be interesting," Edric says, handing one of the stagehands the DVD case with Tremors written on the front. 'I hope Hai is right about this plan to explain the introduction of extinct animals,' Edric thinks as they head to the couches that were prepared for the show.
Callie hums happily as she grabs Edric and hugs him tight after they sit down. "Mine," she says possessively.
"Callie, we are about to go on air," Marie reminds, taking the seat on his other side.
"We are showing Tremors first or saving it for the finale?" Edric asks.
Pearl shrugs off. "A little introduction, some few minute talks, and then the showing with us answering some questions posted during commercials," she lists off.
"Right, just let me know when it is time for the movie. It has real humans in it. It literally will be the first time inklings get a look at what they were like," Edric says.
Marina smiles as they take their places. "Are you going to give 'facts' that you 'found' out?"
"Just a bit of a heads up. Also subtitles as they speak somewhat a very similar language to us," Edric informs as the cameraman starts holding up a hand that they are about to start rolling. "Alright, ready?" Edric asks, pushing his cowboy hat down to conceal his face.
"Ready as we'll ever be," Marie responds encouragingly.
"Welcome to Off the Hook Halloween special, everybody," Pearl chirped when the light went on to show they were live on the air.
"We have four special guests today. Edric, Callie, Marie, and Caveira," Marina introduces.
"Yo," Edric greets as the camera pans to them with the girls waving beside him. "Hope everyone is ready to be scared."
"Or have fun," Callie calls.
"Tonight will be a night to remember, I guarantee you all, as we have something special to show later, but for now, I think we are ready for the questions," Marie informs.
Marina clears her throat as the studio brings up the screen for messages. "The first one, are you pregnant for real, Callie, or is this some elaborate joke?" she reads.
"Doctor confirmed. I am hoping for a son," Callie says, smirking.
Pearl wiggles in her seat. "Oh, boy. Here's another. Edric must be scared out of his mind since it's also with Callie, no less. So how do you feel?" Pearl reads and grins as Edric gives off a nervous laugh.
"The best way to describe it is in shock mostly," Edric informs.
Marina giggles. "Last one, before we start the movie. How does Caveira feel about this whole thing since she was the first girl?" she reads.
Caveira says nothing and pulls a book out of her bag. A book that reads, 'Advice for mothers to be.'
"I think that is the best way to describe that," Edric says, sweat dropping.
"Callie, you will also be reading this book," Caveira informs sternly.
Callie frowns and crosses her arms. "I will read when I need to."
"You will start reading it after the show," Caveira informs.
"Both of you stop. We are live on air," Marie says, glaring at both girls but sneakily pulls Edric against her side.
Edric chuckles nervously before looking around with nock excitement. "Hey! Aren't we going to watch a movie or what?" he brings up, hoping to simmer the two down.
"Right. Ladies and gentlesquids, it's time for our first show. We will be starting with a classic," Pearl says excitedly while showing them the box. "Let's go!"
"And the movie," someone from the crew calls as the room darkens so they can watch as well before they hear a groan from Edric and look to see him lying on Marie's lap.
"Girls, do you have to fight?" Edric mutters as he raises a hand and points to them.
"Only if it means Callie being prepared to have a squishie," Caveira says, sounding like she was going to lecture.
Edric sighs. "Caveira, please relax. For now, let's enjoy the show. You can lecture when we get back home," he points out before Marie feels him nuzzling his head against her lap. "Soft and squishy."
"Right, Caveira, do as he says," Marie says in a specific alpha type of tone.
Caveira flinches and digs her head into her book to hide. "Marie…please don't scare Caveira that much anymore. There is no need now," Edric mumbles as he seems to be going into a relaxing slumber on top of her.
"Hierarchy," Marie states, petting him as she pushes his hat up so she could see his face.
Edric smiles as well as he enjoys the petting. "There is a time to scold and a time to simmer."
"Yes, and now she will simmer. Put the book away, Caveira," Marie instructs.
"So what is the first movie?" Callie asks.
"Oh, it's 'The creature that came from the Lagoon,'" Pearl informs.
"Wait, isn't that one of those old black and white movies?" Callie asks.
"Exactly forty-five years old this year actually…my mom is a big fan of classic movies. I grew up watching all of them," Caveira informs after receiving some surprised looks.
"Oh…maybe we should talk more on this later?" Edric asks, smirking at her.
Caveira reaches over and boops his nose. "Later."
"Oh, most definitely," Edric assures.
"Sounds like squishie number two on the way," Pearl chimes in.
Marina smiles gently as she watches the four. "So this is what your normal bickering is like?"
"Yes," Callie says, giggling a bit.
From there, the six chatted a bit on a few things before the director signaled the movie was wrapping up.
Marina clears her throat as the director counts down before pointing at them. "Welcome back. We hope you enjoyed our first movie for the show. Now, onto more questions," she announces, gesturing to the screen between the two sides. "Edric and Caveira, do you know when you are going to come back to play in the games?"
"I already am, but Caveira, not sure if she can. She is running the club and business herself," Edric informs.
Marie and Callie instantly turn a harsh glare at Caveira, and she crouches behind her book. "I-I-I-I can find someone. To help. To help, I mean," she stutters.
"Girls," Edric says, not even needing to look at them to know what they were doing.
Pearl blinks slowly as the two famous singers make their glare go away. "Wow. Okay. We are moving on. Edric, what other inventions are you going to make? Please be a fresh one," she reads.
"Right now, mostly refining things. If you don't hear or see me for long periods, then you know I am making something like that," Edric informs.
"Or another possible squishie?" Pearl teases.
"Next question," Edric says, not trying to rise to that one.
Pearl giggles and turns to the next questions. "Will we get another game from you? You make the freshest ones ever out of all the video games."
"We are working on a few, but it takes a bit of time, but don't worry, we have already been contacted by other companies, and they will also be making stuff for it," Edric informs.
Marina smiles as she takes out another movie. "Now, onto our next movie. A pretty modern scary one," she says, showing the box.
"Time for some chills and thrills," Pearls says before the next movie starts to play.
Marina groans and leans on her desk. "One more. Just one more," she says to herself.
"Are you going to watch the movie with the audience?" Edric asks.
Marina moans. "Not this time. Just a bit tiring since before you got here, I did a small show with Pearl that took my energy," she explains apologetically.
"You should. After all, this broadcast will go down in history," Edric informs.
Marina groans before blinking as Edric picks her up and carries her back to the sofa. "Uh…wh-wh-what are you doing?!" she asks in shock as he sits her down beside him.
"Getting you comfortable," Edric states as he starts mentally preparing himself as he has to introduce this next movie.
Marina blushes bright blue through her dark skin as Edric holds her hand behind his back. "Oh…okay. Well…thanks," she tries to say as Marie leans over and raises an eyebrow at Edric past Marina.
"Ok…I think I am ready," Edric says, getting the signal that the movie was about to end.
"And welcome back!" Pearl cheers before seeing the screen blow up with questions. "Uhhh…" she tries to read through before the studio freezes the screen. "Oh. 'Is Marina going to be Edric's mate?! They are too close!'" she reads one posting.
"Sorry everyone, but I am hijacking this part to give a bit of an explanation," Edric interrupts as he gets up and pushes the screen away. He then smiles and turns toward the camera. "The next movie has never been seen before by the inkling race. We are going to take back in time with this next movie. Back then, before Inklings ever existed. We are taking you back to the age of humans, for we have found a movie made by humans. You are about to see what these ancient species looked like," Edric says to the camera and waits for the questions to flood in.
Pearl pulls the screen back up front and sees the screen unfreeze before it froze again when it scrolled too fast for a second. Pearl then smiles and looks at Edric. "You broke it," she says, grinning.
"Now, before any of the skeptics say anything. No, this is not fabricated. This is not a trick. This is not a hoax. This is real, and they do not speak our language, but it's close enough to where we can make subtitles for it. So now everyone, let's watch a human monster movie, and let's see how we fare," Edric says before giving an evil chuckle to the camera and snaps his fingers before the movie starts.
Edric sighs as he sits back into his spot before looking at Marina beside him. "I see what you mean now. It does feel tiring if you are constantly on stage and have to come up with stuff to say on the spot. Crew, can you play it here for us too?"
They get a thumbs up before one of the screen changes to the movie now. "Tremors. Of course, it would be," Callie whispers into Edric's ear.
"You know it," Edric says as everyone started to watch the movie.
After a bit, Marina spoke, "So that is what humans looked like?"
"Is it me, or do they seem kinda similar to us?" Pearl asks.
"Yeah, many implications to that. The scientists are going to wrapping their heads around that for a while; I bet," Edric says.
Pearl grins. "Please tell me you somehow cooked this up with your game making skills."
"No, this is legit. This is something I managed to pull off an old terminal. It took a while to reconstruct the thing, but it was worth it," Edric says.
Marina smiles a little. "Was there more movies on it?"
"I would think, but still needs work," Edric says, trying to play it off.
Callie playfully hits his back, making him laugh. "There better be more movies, mister. You just broke the internet again," Pearl points at the messaging screen, showing the stream freezing and unfreezing every few seconds.
"By now, the word has probably spread, and more and more are tuning in?" Edric asks, looking at the director who is on the phone.
Pearl scoffs, smiling. "Has to be by how much he is surprised by."
"I did warn this would be going down in history," Edric reminds.
Marina stands up for a few seconds to see someone on the crew. "We are recording this at the best quality, correct?" she calls and gets a thumbs-up back. Marina, satisfied with that answer, sits back down. "We're good."
'Suck it whoever wrote, 'Its small skull indicates the creature was likely primitive with little intelligence.' Bet you won't accept or rage at this if you are still around,' Edric thinks, recalling what the museum's skeleton had said about his species.
Callie gives a comforting pat on his head, lightly touching his ears to ease his mind. "Hope you are enjoying yourself, Edric."
"Oh, I am," Edric says as the movie keeps going, with him grinning as he knows this will make headlines.
Marina smiles. "This is going to make us a fortune in revenue now."
