A/N: So very sorry for the long delay and short chapter. I have been deathly sick. As in, high fever, hospitalized for three days, sick. I have very little stamina, but the story is not dead and I hope to have a longer part up by Sunday.

Despite their best efforts, they ended up staying at the reception for another hour.

Maura was holding a small piece of wedding cake, teasing Jane.

"You better not smash that into my face, Maura!"

Maura smiled and then gently put the piece of cake on Jane's lips.

Jane chewed it and then moaned, "Oh my God, that is so good!"

Maura smiled at her and then pulled the brunette's head down to kiss her, removing the stray frosting from her wife's mouth with her tongue. That lead to the brides kissing deeply. Just as Angela was about to say something, a rather loud huffing noise came from the front of the Dirty Robber.

As they broke apart, Maura shrieked, "Bass! You stop that right this minute! Bad Bass!"

"What the hell?"

A collective gasp, followed by laughter followed what all the guests had seen.

Korsak was the first to speak. "Looks like it really is love."

Maura had made her way to Bass, who was currently mounting Penelope and huffing, as the male of his species was known to do during mating.

"Jane, get me something to block the view!"

"What?" Jane looked pained.

"Would you want somebody watching us having sex?"

"Oh good lord." Jane got a tablecloth and moved a couple of tables around the mating couple. Maura and Korsak helped make a make-shift privacy screen and everyone tried to ignore the noises coming from the love den.

The photographer began making photos, both with the jersey's off and on.

"How about we get photos of the back of the jersey's?"

As they moved into position, the photographer asked, "What doe the numbers mean?"

Jane smiled at Maura. "Maura?"

The doctor smiled. "Are you familiar with Mr. Rogers?" He nodded. "143 was his number. It means, I Love You. I equals 1, Love equals 4 and You equals 3. When we stand next to each other, it will read 143."

The photographer smiled. "Cool. But what does 33 on the baby jersey mean?"

"Our Son."

Jane kissed Maura and the photographer snapped the picture. They took the entire series of photos before Avery began to cry. Maura took him into the backroom to breastfeed him.

She had just finished feeding him when Jane popped her head in.

"I love to watch you feed him."

Maura blushed ever so slightly as she burped Avery.

"Are you ready to blow this Popsicle stand, Jane?"

Jane took Avery from Maura. "I am. Are you?"

Maura sighed. "I am. I know all of the grandmothers will be in the suite below us with Avery, but..."

Not finishing her thought, she shook her head.

Jane pulled her wife close and kissed her forehead.

"Maura, he will literally be one floor below us. One elevator ride or at worst, one flight of stairs below us. You've pumped more breast milk than I think he can possibly drink. He's going to be spoiled rotten in the two days they have him."

"I know." Maura kissed her as she leaned in and whispered into Jane's ear, "Did our items happen to arrive?"

Jane giggled. "They did and they are already in our suite, waiting for us."

"Everything?"

Jane nodded. "Everything. Every single thing."

Maura turned serious for a moment. "Are you sure you are ready for this?"

"I am."

"Then I think it's time to go."

As they said goodbye to everyone, Maura lingered over Avery, who was being held by Angela.

"Maura, I promise you we will not allow anything to happen to Avery."

Maura looked at her mother and slowly nodded.

"I know. It's just..." Maura shook her head.

Hope gently placed her hand on Maura's back and rubbed. "Maura, we promise you."

Jane took Maura's hand. "Come on Maura. Our carriage awaits."

"Carriage?"

Jane finally got Maura headed in the direction of the doors of the Dirty Robber. As they stepped outside they were immediately showered with birdseed. Maura, who was expecting to see her Prius decorated in just married decorations, gasped as an actual horse drawn carriage pulled up.

"Jane..."

Jane helped her into the carriage and then settled in beside her bride. After they waved goodbye to their guests and the carriage was out of sight, Jane turned and kissed Maura. It was a deep, lingering kiss filled with hope and promise.

"I love you so much Maura." She kissed Maura. "And the things I am going to do with you and let ou do to me...wow!"
