Noll had been quick to extract what he needed, however, he knew he was running out of time. Lin was due to check up on him at any moment, and he had yet to dispose of the waste…

Noll dried his hands on a kitchen towel. Thankfully he hadn't been too messy. All surfaces were clean, but there were still three lage, black bags stacked at his feet. And in time, they would begin to smell.

One disposal at a time had been tedious. Three…

Sighing, Noll turned out the kitchen light and stepped into the living room. All he had to do was keep Lin away from the kitchen…

Taking a seat, Noll reached for a book. As he opened it to a random page, the door to his flat opened.

Lin walked inside, greeting Noll as always.

Noll replied cordially, though he was quite fed up with having a babysitter.

"I noticed something strange on my way back this morning," Lin stated.

"And what is that?" Noll asked, keeping his sights on his book.

"Takigawa's car."

Noll remained calm, despite his miscalculation. "Why would Takigawa be in this area?"

Lin crossed his arms, "I was hoping you could tell me, Noll."

"I'm not his babysitter," Noll cast Lin a cold look.

Stepping closer to Noll, Lin exhaled. He knew...something fishy was going on. He could feel something wasn't right.

"No. But the car is directly in front of your flat."

Noll's jaw tightened. He didn't say a word. He had to choose his next actions wisely.

"And it appears that you are the only one here…" Lin drawed. His gaze cut into Noll, searching for some semblance of an explanation.

Silence.

Lin turned his back to Noll and began walking to the kitchen.

Closing his eyes for a brief moment, Noll set the book aside. He quietly rose and followed after Lin. After passing by his dining table, Noll kept an arms length away from Lin.

Meanwhile, Lin stepped onto the tiled floor. He reached for the lightswitch.

The lights flickered on.

Lin saw it. He saw them, but he was unaware of the presence behind him.

"No-"

Two hands snapped to either side of his head. Before he even had a chance to speak Noll's name, he was gone.

Noll stood in place and gazed down at Lin.

Finally, after collecting his thoughts, Noll uttered "Another specimen…"
