Here is my take on endings on some Mortal Kombat Fighters. Note: It will not include those introduced in the second time-line with the exception of Skarlet.

37. Kai

Kai's Ending:

Liu Kang and Kung Lao have both died by Shao Kahn's hands. Enraged, Kai fought the Outworld Emperor with all his might. Kai was quickly overpowered, but Kai has defeated Shao Kahn with his newfound strength. It was there that Kai was the true chosen one. Now Kai must prepare for a new evil to arise.
