2 days later

Lincoln camethe stairs in the morning and found his family waiting for himin a beautiful decorated living room! "Happy Birthday Lincoln!!" They cried.

Lincoln gasped. After all the excitement from the past few days, Lincoln had completely forgotten that his birthday was coming.

"Let'sgifts first!" Cried Leni. Everyone gathered on the couch. "Guys, I know which gift Lincoln should open first!" Said Luan. She pulled out a box and an envelope."It's from a friend." Said Rita. Lincoln looked at the return address and gasped! It was from Abby! Lincoln quickly opened the envelope and read what it said aloud.

"Dear Lincoln, I'm writing to wish a very happy birthday and to let you know how things are doing at my family's estate. Dot and I have begun the restoration and have made great progress. We hired a crew to dig at the spot on the map you sent and we have never seen more diamonds than in this cave we unearthed. Most of them are going to charity and the town for a much needed overhaul. I also wanted to tell you about our little friends. The judge didn't think prison alone would justify what they did, so they were sentenced to fixing my home and after they've finished, they'll be enjoying a life sentence each in the state penitentiary. I'm very proud of you and am excited to for the bright future that lies ahead of you. Enclosed is a birthday present for you. I hope you like it. Thank you once again for everything. Tell your family I said hi. Sincerely, Abby Quentin."

Lincoln opened the box and his eyes grew wide. There, in a glass case, was an orange diamond. And engraved at the base in solid gold, was was plaque that read, "To LincolnLoud: Our Man With The Plan."

Lincoln thought this was the best gift he had ever received. He ran to the display case and proudly placed it next to his trophy that read, "Most Improved Brother." "Thanks Abby." He said to himself. He ran back to his family and continued the celebrations. They had Lincoln's favorite breakfast, they played party games, they talked about past birthdays, and spent time together as a family. "Who knew the summer before middle school would be this unforgettable?" Chucked Lincoln.

At noon, Lincoln was getting ready to meet his friends at Gus' Games And Grub for a special birthday lunch.

As he headed for the door, he saw Lori coming downstairs. "Lincoln, waitup."She said. She got down on her knees to be at Lincoln's height. "I wanted to tell you that I love you. I know I don't show it a lot, but I realized that if I don't, I could lose you. And I promise that I will never let that happen again to you. You're my brother and nothing will ever change that. I don't ever want you to doubt that. I will always be here for you." Said Lori.

Lincoln smiled and hugged his big sister. Which she gladly returned. "I'll always be here too Lori. I love you." Said Lincoln. Lori caressed his head and gave him a kiss on the cheek. "Ok, now go have fun." Lincoln smiled and ran outside.

As Lincoln walked to Gus', he felt a huge sense of joy. "I knew I could count on them." He said to himself. Lincoln knew his sisters could be crazy, but after the adventure they just had together, he knew more than ever he wouldn't trade it for the world.
