Byaruki thoughts: Side stories for Game of Life

A/N: since I think that I was grasping at straws on Game of Life, I decided to document the supposed events that can support this pairing.

Chapter 3: Life with you, but without you [part 16]

As Byakuya carries Rukia like a bride towards her room, he instructed the servants that no one has to inform anything to Rukia.

That they must exercise caution towards her.

For he fear the worst effect of these events to her mental and emotional well-being.

Which they all agreed.

That night, Byakuya had spent the evening inside her room, looking after her. Dreading what would happen if she woke up from her sleep.

Very early the next day, a representative from the Shiba clan and their allies, came to negotiate for Shiba Kaien's death. Seeking for justice. Demanding for Rukia's blood.

At this, Byakuya felt anger boiling inside of him. But he practiced calm and stoicism.

He indulged them in their demands, and listened attentively.

In the end, they all settled to rule the case to the Gotei 13 due to military protocols that governs the event.

For Rukia did not kill Kaien Shiba, he killed himself on Rukia's sword after getting a little control over his hollow-possesed body.

With Byakuya's connections and power, the case was immediately settled.

The judgment came, though reasonable, was unacceptable to the Shibas.

And they vowed to leave Seiretie, and never to participate in the Gotei 13, ever again.

And gave up their authority as one of 4 greatest noble clan of Soul Society.

They were so disgusted about the injustice, that they sieze all business dealings with the Kuchiki clan and Seiretie, all together.

And this caused a major economic crisis to the entire Soul Society.

But Rukia was never informed about this.

And when she waked up, it seemed like the world had kept on spinning despite the horrible things that had happen.

The loss of the 2nd and 3rd seat officers of 13th squad, and a handful of shinigamis.

The case was closed, but Rukia never felt the closure.

She now lives with a curse, she does not know the extend of.
