I know I KNOW this is against guidelines but um….if there's anyone out there listening?

Hey all, it's Anna. On a complete whim, I decided to check this account (which I have not done in like 3 years). And while I know it's been way too long, I was kinda shocked to see that there are people still on this site, reading my stuff. Wowza. I'm kinda in disbelief.

Just a lil update I guess- I graduate undergrad in 4 days. Yeah, holy shit. I'm an adult (kinda).

I, believe it or not, am still very active in the fanfic community. Obviously less because college is a whole thing, but I created an A03 account that I'm active on. It's much more recent, and I made the switch because I like their software/tagging system more. I like looking back at this site, because it astonishes me how far my writing has come since middle school. But sadly, I will not be posting on this site anymore. I like leaving it up as an archive, but I cannot continue this story due to the massive change in my writing within the past 5 years.

Here's what I will say—firstly, if you all are still out there and are interested in my writing, I encourage to you to check out my A03 account ( AnnaSneezy). I am hesitant to say this, but I think it might be interesting for me, time permitting, to do a rewrite of this story and upload it up there. Might be a fun challenge, idk. I am still in love with these characters, and I would be interested to see how I can incorporate that into my slightly-more mature writing style.

Secondly, and I know it's kinda irrelevant because it's been so long, I just want to thank each and every one of you, whether you're still here or not. EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. You all have shaped me to the writer I am today—the encouragement, laughs, critiques, great conversations…it makes me tear up thinking about it. I don't know where I would be without this site, from my middle school ramblings, semi-cognizant high school writing, to where I am now. I feel like I owe you all closure, and I want you to know that each of you has made my life better. I have not forgotten about you all. You all are in the back of my mind everytime I write something, whether an essay, a graduate application, other fanfic, or research journal publications. I owe it all to this site, and to you readers.

I'll still be leaving this entire account up, but I don't check regularly (as I'm sure you could tell, lol.) I'll talk about anything—fanfic, what I'm up to, what you all are up to, etc. This isn't the end, just a slightly different continuation. You all know me—I'm an open book, and love talking to new people.
