Satomi called Scott a moment after Cora, Malia and Scott settled in the conference room, still at Beacon Hills Animal Clinic and in Alan's company.

"Are you in an ideal location?" Satomi asked.

"We are." Scott replied. "What's going on?"

"A meeting was held a few hours ago to play the recordings of Brett and Lori's hunt for information from your deltas to concerned supernatural leaders" Satomi responded. "And decide whether or not you have become power-hungry and a threat to Beacon Hills' supernatural community.

But it turned into something more. It has come to the attention of all the leaders at the meeting that you have a lot in common with Deucalion, that you have a demon wolf alpha form."

"You do?" Cora asked, shocked at the revelation.

"Who said I have a demon wolf alpha form?" Scott inquired instead of answering, neither confirming nor denying the having said form.

"Someone who got their hands on the assassin that tried to kill Lori." Satomi answered without revealing a gender or name. "I confirmed that you do have a demon wolf alpha form because I saw it through Lori's eyes a while ago."

"Why did you do that?" Malia questioned while Scott went silent.

"Three things cannot long be hidden; the Sun, the Moon and the truth." Satomi said calmly. "The truth was bound to be revealed and if I had lied, doubt would have still been present and Scott's true alpha status would have been questioned.

By confirming the truth, I was able to control the narrative and remind everyone that Scott also has a wolf form and no other alphas has been reported or even rumored to have more than one alpha form.

Speaking of the truth; your demon wolf alpha form wasn't the only truth that was revealed. Your chimera status has been discovered and we now know about it."

Cora, Malia and Scott exchanged looks in silence while a surprised Alan met Satomi's eyes, looking for a clue as to where she was going with her revelations.

"You didn't think compelling people on school grounds would go unnoticed, did you?" Satomi asked, and Scott mutely face palmed. "Fortunately, this reckless act of yours managed to convince everyone that you have good intentions."

"But?" Alan inquired.

"It also told everyone that although you might not be power-hungry, you have terrifying power on your side and since you've embraced who you are, you are not afraid to use it." Satomi answered. "The Beast and Lucien Castle's deaths at your hands and New Orleans' Vampire Faction's sudden loss of power due to New Beacon Pack support the conclusion.

More often than not, when one rises to terrifying power, many feel uncomfortable and intimidated, and one of two things happen; they either unite and fight against the powerful entity or they surrender and become a part of the powerful entity.

There's always the option to leave things as they are but sooner or later, one of the two options I mentioned are chosen.

King Alpha Scott McCall, you've protected Beacon Hills for years now, without asking for anything in return, and you've proven yourself to be a capable leader and protector with your pack, McCall Pack.

It's because of this, and other reasons including your earned true alpha status, various leaders of your hometown's supernatural community, on behalf of their individual covens, families, packs and other groups, have decided to surrender their autonomy to you in exchange for inclusion into New Beacon Pack with the same privileges as the eight packs that surrendered to you.

Including a Beacon Hills Beacon Council."

Nice Town

Tara never intended or even expected to enjoy shopping and going out with Lydia and Rebekah, but to her surprise, she did, even with Lydia's bodyguards not losing sight of her. After they were done with clothes, shoes were next but after sharing a meal, followed by jewelry.

Rebekah couldn't help but feel content as they returned to the hotel via taxi. Well, Rebekah and Tara since Lydia was with her guard team in SPG team's car.

That was a bit of a downer but SPG1 and SPG2, cover names for Lydia's bodyguards, were serious about their jobs and Lydia was serious about her safety. The hours they spent together made up for that, though.

Overall and so far, the day was a great day and Rebekah didn't want it to end just yet. But much changed since she was in Nice Town and she didn't know what was still around and what was not.

When they arrived at Nice Town Hotel, Rebekah expressed her interest in meeting and doing something with Lydia later and Lydia said that she would check with the others and see if that was possible before they went their separate ways with their bought items.

When Lydia, SPG1 and SPG2 returned to the suite, they took Lydia's purchased items to her bedroom before they found everyone in the conference room, awaiting them, and the room in silence.

"What's going on?" Lydia asked once they sat down, and saw that the Royal Guard was as clueless as she was.

"Satomi called while you were out." Scott answered, his expression controlled. "She called on behalf of various leaders of Beacon Hills and its surrounding areas' supernatural community to surrender their autonomy to me and they want to be part of New Beacon Pack in exchange."

"That didn't take long." Lydia commented, a bit surprised but not that surprised and when Cora, Malia, Scott and the Royal Guard looked at her, surprised at how casual she took the news, she explained. "Come on. We all knew that more people were going to want to be part of the pack."

"Yeah. But mostly pack orientated people and groups, not the whole spectrum of supernaturals we have only read about in the bestiary." Scott responded.

"What?" A shocked Lydia asked, and realized that Scott said various leaders of Beacon Hills and its surrounding areas' supernatural community and not alphas or packs.

"Yep." Malia replied. "It turns out Beacon Hills has far more supernatural creatures than we thought."

"Some were just good at hiding themselves but I think most immigrated to Beacon Hills since you activated the Nemeton, shut down the Dead-pool and defeated the assassins and hunters, killed the Beast and made Beacon Hills safe for supernaturals of all kinds." Cora said.

"And others moved to Beacon Hills after they heard what happened in New Orleans and why." MPG4 added. "Two weeks is long enough for rumors to spread and believers to move. You have a good track record of defending Beacon Hills' community as a whole; human and supernatural."

"How many various leaders are we talking about?" Lydia inquired.

"I have no idea." Scott answered. "Satomi just revealed the species of a few of the leaders. We'll only know if I accept their offer. This is getting bigger than we expected."

"That's an understatement." Cora said. "Derek and I only returned to talk some sense into you and assist. And now..."

"You're a princess." Scott completed with a chuckle, and received a glare from Cora but it didn't have the intended effect, it actually turned Scott's chuckle into a loud laugh as he remembered the glares Derek used to give Stiles and added. "And Derek is a prince."

Now that transformed Cora's glare into a smile and then a chuckle which turned into a full on laughter, finding the humor in that and so did Lydia and Malia.

"We both know it's not an if you accept scenario, though." Lydia said. "Accepting will ensure threats stay out of Beacon Hills and Hayden and the others will get the chance to live a normal high school and everyday life we didn't get the chance to live for the last three years."

"You're right but they don't know that." Malia responded. "We've faced assassins, one which was my mother, hunters, berserkers, a hunter-turned-werejaguar, chimeras and ancient scientists and their resurrected serial killer werewolf and no one was there to help us.

Nothing is worse than waiting and all these emerging leaders and their groups will have to wait for their answer. If something happens in the meantime, they'll have to deal with it to show that they really want to join us and keep news of Scott being a 'chimera' a secret."

Lydia read between the lines and realized what Malia was referring to by Scott being a chimera.

"They found out you're not only a werewolf anymore?" Lydia asked.

"Yeah. Someone at school witnessed me doing compulsions so they know that I'm a vampire and as werewolf but since they think I'm a chimera, they assume I'm also something else." Scott replied.

"At least they think that you're a chimera." Lydia said. "When are you going to give them an answer?"

"After Raven3 finds out whom, exactly, the leaders are and identify their species for us to study and understanding." Scott answered. "I might have to leave you in Mystic Falls, though, to accept the offer in person and bond with them."

"That's not happening." Malia shot down the idea, and declared. "We are not separating from each other until we all have to."

"What she said." Lydia supported Malia because as excited as she was to be leaving Beacon Hills, she wasn't really in a hurry to leave her friends yet.

"Fine." Scott gave in. "What's the plan, then?"

"We'll leave together." Malia replied.

With that settled, Scott informed everyone that he was leaving to set the trap as they had what they needed before Lydia moved to something light.

"Rebekah wants to hangout later."

Rebekah and Tara's Suite

"Thanks for buying me all the things that you bought me." Tara thanked Rebekah while Rebekah unpacked her purchased items in her bedroom.

"You're welcome." Rebekah replied.

"But why did you?" Tara inquired.

That caused Rebekah to stop unpacking as she sensed the seriousness in Tara's voice, telling her that she wanted answers.

"You're one of the youngest witches I've ever met who runs a consultation business and welcomes vampires." She answered, giving Tara her full attention. "Most of them made a living doing this and being that you came with me here, I assume you are making a living doing this.

Doing what you do, sooner or later, someone is going to knock on your door with a dangerous service to ask, maybe one that's against your code of conduct and values and who knows, you might be in desperate need of money and consider doing it.

I bought you the clothes, shoes and jewelry as an investment for you so that if you need money, you can sell them instead of going against what you believe in. This is my way of thanking you for warning me about the witch that has my necklace.

Don't worry, once I get my necklace I'll deliver on what we agreed on."

Tara was at a loss for words. She didn't know what to say. But she didn't need to because her magic spoke for her in the form of the flowers that were beside her and were just starting to wither regaining their healthy look. This told Rebekah that Tara had a strong affinity for earth magic.

"When do you want to get your necklace?" Tara inquired.

"Why" Rebekah asked, hoping Tara didn't want to leave her.

"I can't really unpack everything you bought me if we're going after your necklace tonight and I'm leaving tomorrow."

"Er, tomorrow evening." Rebekah answered, relieved, not wanting to prolong getting her mother's talisman any longer, though she added. "But you could decide not to leave straight away if you want and stick with me. I had a great time with you and Lydia and I'd like to have some more."

"So you can be around your unavailable crush and have someone to lament your woes of unrequited love to at the end of each day?" Tara inquired.

"What are you talking about?" Rebekah questioned, although she knew what and who Tara was speaking about; Scott.

Rebekah found that her second impression of Scott was a nice sequel to their first as she learned more about him although she was disappointed to learn that he has a girlfriend.

Beacon Hills Animal Clinic

"If you don't mind me asking, Satomi-san. Why do you want to join New Beacon Pack?" Alan asked Satomi. "Unlike the others, I know that you're not afraid of New Beacon Pack or Scott or what he's capable of."

"The Dead-pool showed me that I can't protect everyone in my pack and I realized that if we all worked together from the beginning, we would have lost far less people than we did but we were divided." Satomi answered, thinking of all the people she lost her due to that divide. "The same thing happened with the Dread Doctors, chimeras and the Beast.

Because the Dread Doctors were targeting humans and experimenting on them, we didn't feel the need to do something about it or even wanted to get involved and as a result, we allowed the Beast to be resurrected.

If it wasn't for the Dread Doctors erasing the memories of most of the humans that saw it and Scott compelling the humans at Beacon Hills High, we would have been exposed. All because we didn't do something about it while we had the chance.

A lone wolf never survives, doctor. We both know it rarely ever does. I have learned that the same can be said about lone packs. We thrive in numbers."

With that said, Satomi left the clinic.

Nice Town Hotel

"Are we really going to a nightclub knowing our history with clubs?" Scott asked as he and the others waited for Rebekah and Tara outside the hotel, having returned from setting the trap.

"Yes." Lydia replied. "There were only two suggestions earlier; movies and clubbing. You went to the movies earlier and now we're going to a club and we're going to enjoy ourselves."

"I definitely intend to enjoy myself." Rebekah said, appearing with Tara, and added as a limousine stopped in front of the hotel. "And I hired a limousine for the night to help with that."

As much as MPG1, MPG3, MPG4, SPG2 and SPG3 didn't like vampires, they couldn't deny that Rebekah was beautiful and tonight, she was breathtaking; though SPG3 found herself attracted to Tara.

"Whoa." Scott expressed with a whisper, looking at the limousine, although it wasn't really the source of the expression and his eyes weren't really looking at it but the reflection on the windows. "Uh, how many seats?"

"Sixteen." Rebekah answered, a little disappointed that she got everyone's attention but his. "Two-front and fourteen-rear. Enough for everyone."

Portland, Oregon

Lucas and Olivia Parker, members of Gemini Coven and fraternal twins born to Joshua (leader of Gemini Coven) and Mrs Parker, destined to duel in a ritual called the Merge, from which one of them would die and the other would merge with the former's essence and magic and lead Gemini Coven, sat in a ship at the port close to their home.

They cast a joint cloaking spell before Lucas asked.

"Are you sure we can trust Lorenzo and the Heretics to help us take over the coven before our twenty-second birthday?"

"I don't trust them but we need them on our side." Olivia answered. "I didn't specify what we wanted, just that we have a deal for them. Before I give Lorenzo the 1903 ascendant, spell and Bennett blood, I'll have him sign a magical contract that will ensure that he, along with the Heretics, keep their end of the deal."

"What's their end of the deal? To help us take over the coven?"

"The magic is in the wording, Luke." Olivia said mischievously. "After we kidnap father and transfer leadership of the coven to us without merging, we will need ruthless allies like the Heretics while we search for all the siphon witches that were disowned and cast out and ask them to rejoin the coven and help us govern it."

"You know finding the siphon witches is not a problem." Lucas responded

"I know that, but we can't go searching for them before we take father's leadership and protection from him. Once we are the leaders of the coven, everyone's lives will be linked to us, guaranteeing that they won't do anything against us. And as leaders, you'll be able to find the siphon witches easier."

"Always the schemer." Lucas commented with a smile. "And to think you're father's favorite child."

"You're the stronger one between us, I have to find something I'm good at and you're not." Olivia replied. "Anyway, father favors Gemini Coven more than his family and he took our childhood away from us by starting our training early and telling us about the Merge to justify pushing us to our limits.

Taking what he loves more than his own family is only far."

"I'm not disagreeing, Liv." Lucas said. "Even mom is tired of being his baby machine and the mistress to the coven. Let's see how he'll manage life without being the leader. Who do you think the ascendant he's creating is for?"

"I don't know, yet."

That Nice Club

The group arrived at the club Lydia chose, hyped to have some fun but they were met with an obstacle at the entrance.

"Your IDs please." One of two bouncers at the entrance requested, being a strict bouncer who followed rules and seeing some of the group appeared younger than the drinking age, he did his job.

"I'll take care of this." Rebekah said, and two eye contacts and compulsions later, the group was looking around for tables to occupy and since they arrived somewhat early, they found what they were looking for.

"What are you having?" Scott asked once everyone was settled with him, Cora, Lydia, Malia, Rebekah and Tara sharing a bigger table between MPGs and SPGs, with MPG4 and SPG4 asking the same question to their groups.

After they received answers, MPG4, Scott and SPG4 headed for the bar together.

"Have fun and look out for each other." Scott said as they walked to the bar.

"I wish." SPG4 said, looking around the small crowd on the dancing floor. "Look at all these sexy men. If I wasn't on duty, I would definitely let one or two take me home with them and see you tomorrow."

MPG4 and Scott chuckled at that response, although the former's eyes were also checking out the dance floor, though her attention was on female club goers, while Scott tried not to join her, already feeling a little guilty for checking out Rebekah earlier via limousine windows.

"You're all officially off duty, then. Tell the others." Scott responded, added when the two guards tried to protest. "The best way to protect us is to not be seen protecting us, and protecting us at every turn will ruin all of our lives.

You won't get the chance to live your lives and we won't get the chance to enjoy ours, something that might cause you to resent us and us to ditch you. Let's find a balance between on duty and off duty.

You're off duty tonight and since you're not on duty and you're dressed to dance, you're not MPG4 and SPG4 or our guards but yourselves; Luna and Sky, our friends. Tell the others. Have fun and if you get the chance to get lucky, go for it. OK?"

"You're the alpha." MP-Luna replied.

"Yes, I am." Scott said with a big smile, causing his companions to laugh as they arrived at the bar.

Back at the main table, Tara had a question.

"Should I be expecting a fight to break out or something? According to what Scott said earlier."

"I hope not." Lydia replied. "I just want to dance, drink and have a good time with my friends. If anyone interferes with that tonight, I'll pulverize their head without a second thought and not feel guilty about it."

"I like the sound of that." Malia responded, and ignored the surprised looks on Rebekah and Tara faces when they saw that Lydia was being serious.

As though fate wanted to test them, they saw three drunken boys heading their way but before they were stopped pretty quickly by the Royal Guard, which helped see the boys out of the club before returning to their tables.

"I prefer that." Cora said, referring to how the guards handled the drunken boys, by intimidating the boys, although she envied the boys' ability to get drunk.

"It's less messy. I prefer that too" Rebekah commented, a moment before Scott returned.

"Here are your drinks, ladies." He said, giving each their order. "What did I miss?"

"Nothing much." Malia responded, standing up and linking her hand with Scott's before he could sit. "Come on, dance with me."

He was more than happy to, so he followed her to the dance floor.

"Hi, Tara. Would you like to dance with me?" SPG3, Ayanda off duty, asked.

"Sure." Tara responded after taking a sip of her juice, having decided to start the night light; although surprised, she took Ayanda's offered hand and they walked towards the dance floor.

"And then there were three." Cora said, not missing the irony in the three drunken boys the Royal Guard took care of, but they didn't need those boys to have fun, a thought she shared with Lydia and Rebekah.

"Come on, ladies. The dance floor is waiting for us." Lydia said what was on their minds and they drank a bit of their drinks before they went to the dance floor.

TRANSITION

That Nice Club

Somewhere along the dance, Cora, Lydia and Rebekah found themselves dancing with Malia and Scott, alternating between dancing, drinking and more dancing with the dance floor fully occupied.

Although Cora, Malia and Scott thought that they couldn't get drunk, they were wrong. They did get drunk; by embracing other club goers' emotions via chemosignals once they overlooked the sweat and perfumes, which enhanced everything, the atmosphere, the dance music and dancing.

There was just something intoxicating in all that and drinking alcohol like everybody else helped give them the illusion of being drunk and oh, what a euphoric release it was for them, especially for Malia and Scott who kissed each other every now and then.

For the first time in a long time, Lydia was wholeheartedly carefree. Nothing was in her mind and the voices only banshees heard were nowhere to be found. All that there was, was alcohol, music, dancing and her friends.

It was like old times, but she was actually enjoying herself now and not pretending to keep her high school queen bee status. It was only a pity that Jordan was miles away or they would be resolving the sexual tension they've been building because right now, Lydia wanted a release. No, she needed a release.

Rebekah had thought that she had tasted freedom in the weeks that she escaped Klaus and went on her own, but as she danced with the four strangers she only met this morning, she found that she was wrong.

This was freedom; not having anything on her mind and her body moving on its own accord. Rebekah learned a long time ago that she wasn't that different from Klaus when it came to some things, like the fear of being alone.

She didn't want to be alone, she hated being alone. Hence she invited Tara and when Lydia made a simple comment, she took the opportunity and invited her to go shopping. As Rebekah lost herself to the alcohol, music and dancing, she was happy about her recent choices.

She knew Cora, Lydia, Malia, Scott and their bodyguards and Tara would leave eventually, so she enjoyed and savored the happiness they gave her, with the hope that Tara might at least stay for a bit longer, and lived in the moment; truly free and careless with her heart, hence she did something she probably shouldn't have done.

After drinking the shots they changed to at their table, which was watched over by Ayanda and Tara who had vacated the dance floor and were getting to know each other and they returned to the dance floor, with Malia and Scott sharing another kiss, a longer and deeper one, Rebekah did something unexpected.

When Malia and Scott separated, she kissed the latter, and he reciprocated, and what a kiss it was.

Rebekah felt everything come alive inside her and her body explode with the magic that kept it alive, but just as the kiss was deepening, Scott realized what he was doing and pulled back, but it was already too late. He knew that when he looked at Malia; speechless and remorseful.

Cora and Malia stood by; a little sober, shocked by what just happened and were awaiting Malia's reaction as were Rebekah and Scott.

Malia's first instinct was to attack Rebekah, hence her eyes glowed their dangerous alpha red, responding to her anger and hurt. But she never expected to enjoy watching her boyfriend kissing someone else and on top of it, become aroused.

Well, more than she already was, and that confused her. She was supposed to be furious, not aroused. Stiles never said anything about this, hence the confusion and it was frustrating Malia, causing her eyes to flicker between their human brown and alpha werecoyote red, shocking Rebekah.

"Malia." Scott whispered her name, not able to meet her eyes now.

"Do it again." Malia commanded, wanting to understand her physical reaction to what should have logically caused her to rip Rebekah's throat out, with her teeth, before focusing on Scott.

"Malia." Scott pleaded, but all he got was the flickering of eye colors to stop and Malia's eyes to settle on alpha red.

"I said; do it again." Malia repeated.

"I'm..." Rebekah tried to apologize.

"You're not sorry." Malia interrupted, focusing on Rebekah. "We both know that you've liked him since you bumped into each other, don't lie to me. You wanted to kiss Scott and he wanted to kiss you too or you wouldn't have kissed and now I want you to kiss again."

"Why...?" Scott tried to ask, not being able to follow through with the command, but saw Malia's claws protract.

"Just do it before I lose my patience."

"But..."

"Scott!" Malia interrupted once again with a low shout.

Scott regretted what he did but he followed the command and so did Rebekah. But it wasn't like before. Although Rebekah wanted to make the most of this last chance, she was as uncomfortable as Scott was and she was aware that they hurt Malia.

"Not like that. Kiss like you did before. You owe me this much." Malia pressed, and the confused Cora and Lydia, plus the kissing pair, wondered why Malia was pressing for a repeat.

Music still playing loud and the crowd still dancing around them, though a few looked at them but Cora and Lydia scared off, Rebekah and Scott gave in and to the guilt trip and tried to recreate the moment.

It didn't happen as quickly as it did before, but slowly, they rebuilt the kiss that clearly spelled the end of a day old relationship.

Scott focused on that, the fact that he ruined his third relationship with the girl he loves and channeled that into the kiss with the same girl he ruined his relationship with. As the kiss built up and hands began to explore, Rebekah decided to give in and make the most of the kiss.

"I don't get it." Malia whispered, still confused, eyes shifting to human brown and claws retracting.

"What is it you don't get, Malia?" Lydia asked, but it was Cora who responded when she smelled her cousin's arousal, being close to her.

"She doesn't understand why she's getting aroused." Cora said, and then asked for verification as the shocked Rebekah and Scott stopped kissing and looked at Malia. "Aren't you?"

Malia just nodded her head in confirmation, and that sparked a little hope in the Scott that they could repair what he broke while Lydia, who was surprised, tried to explain for Malia.

"Some people just find it arousing to watch their partner be intimate with someone else."

"Do you?" Malia inquired.

"I don't like to share." Lydia answered.

"What about you?" Malia asked Cora.

"Um, I don't think so." Cora replied.

"Well, we know you do." Malia said to Rebekah.

"I don't." Rebekah denied. "I may have engaged in a threesome or two but not with people I really like."

"The way you spoke about Scott earlier says that you really like him." Lydia commented, and she realized that Rebekah's brother Nik might be right, Rebekah fell in love easily. "And you just risked having him bite you by kissing him. That says a lot."

"What about you? Actually, don't mind. Let's see how you feel about watching your partner kiss someone else." Malia asked Scott and then decided, taking note of what Lydia said which surprised Scott, but before he could respond, Malia turned her attention to Rebekah. "You kissed my boyfriend and now you'll kiss me."

"If that's what you want." Rebekah replied, surprising the others, even Malia. "What? I've kissed a girl before. What's the saying; it's the twenty-first century. Just don't bite. I don't know what you are but I know what red eyes mean."

"I'll try not to." Malia said, and a moment later, Scott witnessed what he never thought he'd witness his girlfriend doing, kissing someone else; another girl.

What was an experimental kiss for Malia, ended with more alcohol, more dancing and more kissing between Malia, Rebekah and Scott, and though there was still an important conversation to be had by Malia and Scott concerning their relationship, the euphoric atmosphere was regained.

And soon enough, Cora joined the trio, their arousal and the atmosphere having gotten to her and since it's been a while since she last kissed someone, she gave in and she was welcomed.

As time went on and Lydia felt left out, she found herself faced with two options; joining Cora, Malia, Rebekah and Scott or leaving them to indulge in what they were likely to regret in the morning. The choice was easy.

Alcohol in Lydia's system and peer pressure on display, clearly showing her what she was missing and her body wanting a release it hasn't had in quite a while, the night ended with Cora, Lydia, Malia, Rebekah and Scott leaving That Nice Club together, Tara and the others being left with a promise that the hired limousine would return for them.
