Feisty one today. I was unsure about this one but I chose to post it anyway. Thanks, Ree for helping me make up my mind :). Like and Review.

"GIN WAIT!" Harry yelled for what felt like the tenth time as he hurtled past a group of fourth years all walking towards the great hall. Harry assumed she was heading outside but he'd have to stop once they passed the Great Hall. She turned back to him with fury in her eyes

"Bugger off Potter" she spat before continuing to storm away

"GIN!"He reached out and spun her around and Ginny looked about ready to kick him but she didn't

"Let go, Potter," Ginny hissed. Not in the usual joking way but with pure ice in her eyes

"Talk to me please"

"OH YES, LET'S TALK." Harry braced himself

"HOW ABOUT YOUR STUPID MENTAL THING WHERE YOU THINK EVERYONE NEEDS SAVING! OR THAT THE STUPID GUILT COMPLEX MEANS YOU THINK EVERYTHINGS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY! I CAN HANDLE MYSELF! I DID FINE LAST YEAR WHILST YOU WERE FAR AWAY FROM THIS! I DON'T NEED YOU SWANNING IN AND FIGHTING MY BATTLES, I SAW PEOPLE TORTURING FIRST YEARS I LOST MY BROTHER-"

"AND I'VE LOST EVERYONE I EVER THOUGHT OF AS FAMILY!" Harry roared back more than angry that she was insinuating

"I know you've lost your brother and Merlin I miss Fred too but if you think I had an easy year or an easy life just because I wasn't here then you don't know me at all." He continued. Furious at her then suddenly he remembered what it was all about and the anger drained from his eyes to be replaced by tears threatening to fall

"So I'm sorry for caring, sorry for wanting to keep you safe and I'm sorry for loving you" He then turned swiftly on his heel and ran not wanting to see Ginny's cold eyes any longer which were usually full of warmth.

Ginny stood rapidly opening and closing her mouth trying to think of what to say. She heard an awkward cough and realised they had once again had their argument in the middle of the Great Hall doorway. Seeing a lot of the Hall shocked and Ron and Hermione making their way towards her she spoke to the hall at large in a wobbly voice

"If any of that m-makes it into the papers i-ill start hexing off limbs" She gave a pointed stare at the Slytherin table before being dragged out of sight by Hermione.

Once Hermione was happy they were out of earshot she began

"Ok what the bloody hell was that about?" Ginny, already slightly nervous as Hermione never swore, replied

"Some of the pureblood idiots cornered me on the second floor and started trying something. We were about to fight when Harry came in and incapacitated the lot before anything could happen"

"And that's a problem because?"Hermione asked tentatively

"Because I'm always the 'Damsel in distress to him. Someone to be 'rescued'"

"Have you actually been listening to the papers? Ron asked incredulously

"O-Of course not" Ginny stammered

"Right so have you had a massive brain injury?"Ron asked again

"No?"

"Then why the Bloody hell did you have a go at Harry for being Harry?"

"B-Because I don't need rescuing. I can fight my own battles, Ron!"

"We know you can Ginny and Harry loves that side of you he's told you himself. Harry can't stand people he loves being in danger because he hasn't got that many people he loves left. You see." Hermione explained. Ginny's eyes softened instantaneously and she hoped to Merlin she wasn't about to cry but the memory of Harry's green eyes swimming in tears was making her feel horrid.

"Oh Merlin what have I done"

"You've told the guy who came back from the dead to be with you and wants to be by your side until you both kick the bucket that you can't stand one of the innate things that make him Harry" Ron explained briefly to be hit by Hermione

"Hey! Harry always told me when I made a stupid mistake regarding you I feel like Ginny deserves the same treatment. Besides the more pussyfooting around we do the more my Best mates going to go back into his funk"

They had begun walking back towards the Great Hall when Ginny noticed a familiar bit of parchment with some other parchment next to it. Picking all of it up she couldn't help to peak at the papers

Ginny couldn't bear to read anymore but there were about ten more houses and flats listed all with her opinions and some even mentioned family prospects and whether Teddy would have a separate room.

"Go find him Ginny" Hermione murmured gesturing to the familiar piece of parchment Ginny pulled out her wand and whispered

"I solemnly swear that I'm up to no good" instantly she began scanning and found him in the passageway behind the one-eyed witch. He didn't seem to be moving so blinking back tears she legged it up to the witch.

Breathing heavily she gingerly knocked on the statue

"H-Harry? Can I come-" before she could finish, the statue moved aside to show Harry. His eyes were puffy from crying but he was now looking at her curiously. Not knowing what to say she softly handed the two pieces of parchment back to him and said shyly

"I-I like the cottage in Somerset" Harry tried to smile but it appeared as a grimace

"It has a big garden and on the map, it's not that far from home"

"Harry-l"

"No i-I get it. I should have let you handle it yourself"

"No, it's just. It's silly"

"Try me" Harry stated wiping his eyes on his sleeve

"I thought I got over the whole valentines fiasco but-sometimes I just feel helpless and then when you 'saved' me I just felt a bit frustrated"

"Gin, I'm so sorry"

"Harry, why are you apologising?"

"B-Because I was being-"

"You were being Harry," Ginny said with a shy smile

"Gin. Do you want to see the house? I could do with getting away from here" Harry replied with a small smile playing at his lips. Ginny stood up and offered him her hand and Harry pulled himself up before tentatively grabbing her hand. Harry reached to push aside the statue but Ginny interrupted

"Harry I'm really sorry but you haven't lost your family. Because no matter what I'll be your family as will all us Weasleys"

"That is quite a big family isn't it?" Harry replied

They walked to the gates in silence then Harry grabbed Ginny's hands. He still held a glimmer of something hostile in his eyes but it was mostly drowned out by the childlike excitement he was feeling. They'd be okay.
