And yet the memories will carry on for forever
Spring was coming to an end as the relaxing summer began to settle in.
It was the end of an emotionally draining week. Things hadn't improved with Momo, and now it was just mostly Izuku and Mina not able to talk to her, they weren't trying to give her the silent treatment or anything like that, they just happened to be in an awkward situation, because it wasn't like Mina wanted to lose her friend but there was a difference between Yao-momo, her close friend and the Momo that slept with Izuku. Izuku, himself knew there was no simple solution and figured that time would eventually heal the still fresh wound, although it was easier said than done.
One of the positives was that Kirishima had talked to Izuku, man to man, and apologized for his behavior. He even insisted for Midoriya to give him a punch to even things out, Izuku declined of course but he was glad that he and Kirishima were friends again. At least that was one bridge he hadn't burned down...
The weeks had passed with the steady tension settling into the background and something most of the students learned to deal with. To make things easier for everyone, there would be days where Izuku and Mina had lunch with Aoyama as Momo ate with the rest of them and on other days it would be the reverse, with Momo joining Aoyama instead, it was far from perfect but at least it was something.
The blossom of Spring was coming to an end and the relaxing summer was rolling in.
It was another lazy weekend for Izuku and Mina, they were chilling in the living quarters. Their friends were also with them. Toru and Tsuyu were sitting on the same couch as Mina, all of them petting Koda's pet bunny. Iida and Todoroki were sitting on the other couch with Midoriya. Bakugo was hanging out as well, with Kirishima and Sero. Kaminari and Mineta were doing their perverted thing. Uraraka was bugging Tokoyami, asking if he and Dark Shadow have ever slow danced together, although his gloomy attitude resisted, he was starting to appreciate her sunshine nature. Sato was baking in the kitchen with Koda and Shoji helping.
And off to the side, at the dining table, Aoyama was sampling cheese with Jiro and Momo. It wasn't as awkward as it would have been some weeks ago, the class was able to get through the tension with the bonds they had developed.
Every student in their classroom was hanging around the living quarters, the complete opposite of that boring day that started Izuku and Mina's relationship.
"Oi, next time we go dancing we should take turns dancing with Uraraka." Dark Shadow suggested.
Tokoyami was going to silence his quirk until Uraraka giggled and agreed to the suggestion. "All of us should go back to the red light district again and find some fun things to do! We can play some dancing games at the arcade!"
Tokoyami begrudgingly agreed as Uraraka and Dark Shadow cheered. Izuku's ear perked, having overheard their conversation, thinking of the last time they went there.
'L-Love... hotels...' He strained out that thought, he flinched, feeling on eyes on him and grew a blush, seeing that it was Mina giving him a dirty look with a raised eyebrow as if know what he was thinking about. He shook his head as if trying to shake those thoughts away and tell her, he wasn't thinking about that. She giggled and shrugged her shoulders going back to her conversation with Tsuyu and Toru. But then Izuku did think about having fun with Mina, 'Uraraka did mention dancing games. One of Mina's favorite things to do is dance...' Izuku was thinking hard about it until a lightbulb went off in his head.
He turned his attention back to Mina and was going to ask until he saw how focused Mina, Toru, and Tsuyu were on the rabbit. They suddenly shifted their eyes to Izuku as Mina held the bunny up at him. All of them had shadowed eyes causing him to shiver. 'Hieee! Why do I feel like I'm staring at my reflection being surrounded by wolves!'
"Hey Izuku doesn't this bunny remind you of someone?" Mina asked as she, Toru, and Tsuyu and got up from the couch, walking to their prey.
He tried to look away, scratching his cheek. "How-, How would I know?" He avoided it as best he could, 'But she's obviously referring to me!'
Toru had her hands on her hips, "You know Midoriya although they look innocent rabbits are known for their mating habits. Why does that remind me of someone? Huuh?"
"I-, I don't know!" His voice was a pitch higher because of the implication that Toru knew more about his relationship with Mina than he thought.
Tsuyu had big deadpan eyes with her finger to her lips with her tongue out, yet not saying anything because of her nature of being blunt. She was simply staring at Izuku as if wanting him to admit it. 'I don't know if it's worse that Tsu hasn't said anything! All I feel from her is shame and disappointment!'
"It's me, alright! Happy!" He couldn't take it and admitted in a yell of defeat. Mina grew a huge grin as she claimed victory with her friends, raising the bunny over their heads. He rolled his eyes at their childish antics. Although he sounded annoyed Izuku was giving Mina those enamored emerald eyes, honestly enjoying her playful attitude. "Was it really that important?"
"Yup!" Ashido giggled as she hugged the bunny to her chest.
Izuku cleared his throat as he glanced to the side, "Say, Mina, I was wondering if I could ask for a favor?"
"Hm? A favor?" Mina tilted her head because her boyfriend never asked for favors. "Uh, sure, what can I do for you?"
His blush crept back to his cheeks as he struggled to ask, "I want to know if maybe you could give me some dancing lessons?"
"D-Dancing l-lessons?!" Mina was more flustered than Izuku thought she would be. He thought she was embarrassed, until she let her excitement burst forth. "I get to be Izuku's private tutor!"
"I... I may have made a mistake..."
