Chapter 37 Battle at Karakura Town 3

Ghost, Decade and Blade stare at Aizen who has Tosen and Gin at his side.

"Now it's him."Decade said.

"Let's go."Blade said.

They went towards him, then Shinji goes to they're side."Hey guys, can I join, I have something to settle with Aizen."

"Sure, let's get him."Ghost said.

"I like the way you think."Shinji said.

They went towards Aizen with they're swords, Shinji then felt a sword going towards him making him pull the others back.

"What?"Ghost then saw the cut on Shinji's head."Are you okay?"

"Yeah, I'll live."Shinji said.

Blade then saw it was Tosen that did it."Tosen."

"Rai, Shun."He said.

"Tosen I don't to fight you."Blade said."What Aizen is doing is wrong."

"Wrong, no Rai, you've allowed the Shinigami to corrupt you."Tosen said.

"He's gonna kill millions of people, you talked to us about justice, wheres the justice in that."Ghost said.

"Those people are countless sinners who only care abou themselves, to punish evil is justice."Tosen said.

"Punishing evil is one thing, killing innocent is different."Ghost said.

Tosen raises his sword at them."I'm truly disapointed in you both, I truly hope you were like me."

He charges at them but then Komamura blocks the sword with his arm guard.

"Komamura."Tosen said.

"I never thought I would need to protect someone from you."Komamura said:"Rai, Shun, masked warriors I shall help you."

"Thanks."Ghost said.

Shinji looked at Komamura quizzically. "Are you sure you it's alright to be helping out a strange lot like us?" he asked the captain. "Although, as far as appearances go, you're pretty strange yourself."

Komamura turned his head to look at Shinji. "You helped get right of the Menos Grande. That is good enough for me. I will help you fight and I will not accept no for an answer, masked one."

Shinji made a face."That's a little too much for me. I can't work with guys like him."

"Shin, Rai."Komamura said to the riders. "Will you help me?"

Blade nodded."Sure thing. Aizen's got to go down."

Tosen sighed. "So I must fight both of you. A pity."

Suddenly a black chain came out of nowhere and wrapped itself around Tosen's blade. Komamura, Tosen and the riders turned to see where the chain had come from. It belonged to that black haired man with the 69 tattooed on his face.

"Hisagi," Tosen said quietly.

The man, Hisagi, looked at Tosen with a saddened look on his face. "Long time no see, Captain Tosen."

Komamura had a saddened look on his face at the exchange. The riders noticed this. Did Tosen have a personal history with this guy?

"Captain Tosen," Hisagi said. "I would like to thank you."

Tosen regarded him. "How clever. Is that supposed to be sarcastic?"

"No, Captain Tosen," Hisagi told him. "I wanted to thank you for your instruction. I will use it to open your eyes and take you back to Soul Society."

"Open my eyes?" Tosen asked. "Open my eyes?" Then his sword began to vibrate, shaking the chain off his sword.

"Hisagi." Tosen said. "I told you before that those who do not feel fear are not fit to battle. You haven't changed at all." Tosen told Hisagi. "Your words do not have an ounce of fear in them."

Hisagi stared at Tosen as sweat began to pour off his face.

From where he stood, Aizen watched all these events take place. He had seen his Espada betray him, his old colleagues, the Visoreds, show up, and he saw Baraggan die. How ironic it was that the one Espada who didn't betray him was the one who hated him the most. He looked over at Gin, who was battling Shinji.

"That's enough, Gin," he told his subordinate.

"What?" Shinji asked as he and Gin stopped fighting.

Aizen smiled at Shinji as he surveyed the others. They were done destroying the Hollows and had gathered into one big group of people.

Down below, Mashiro was with a fallen Wonderweiss. The guy had been pretty upset when she had killed his gigantic pet with her Mashiro Super Kick. He tried to shoot a Cero at her but got knocked down for his trouble. "Oooh, this is getting interesting," she said as she saw Aizen preparing to fight everyone.

Next to her, Wonderweiss began to get up.

"Mashiro!" Kensei yelled to her.

"I know," Mashiro said, kicking Wonderweiss across the head, sending him crashing into a nearby building.

"Mashiro!" Kensei called. "Fighting this level of opponent will exhaust you. Take off your mask before your time runs off."

"You're so dumb, Kensei," Mashiro said while doing an anime pose. "You don't know how long I can stay Hollowfied. 15 hours! 15 hours! I can do this all night!"

Her attention was drawn when she saw Wonderweiss flying at her. Calmly, she grabbed his head. "Just give it a rest," she said as she slammed him face first into the ground. Wonderweiss got back up and let out a loud cry. He reached out for her and managed to grab her scarf. Before she could do anything, Wonderweiss threw Mashiro many blocks away. Fortunately Mashiro was able to stop her momentum and looked down at her now torn scarf.

"How dare you!" she cried. "You ripped my favorite scarf! I'll never forgive you! Mashiro Super Cero!"

She fired a green Cero at Wonderweiss. Before it could hit him, he let out another loud cry that was able to disperse her Cero but that didn't stop Mashiro who charged right at Wonderweiss. Suddenly her mask shattered. Before Mashiro could get her wits together, Wonderweiss slammed his fist into her face. Her body lurched back from the blow as blood shot from the wound. His tongue sticking out, Wonderweiss pulled his other fist back to hit her.

Just as it was about to connect, Kensei appeared and caught Wonderweiss's fist in his palm. Mashiro was cradled in his other arm.

"Aaaaaaah?" Wonderweiss asked. Kensei looked at him.

"Sorry, but I'm not the sort of adult who goes easy on kids!"

Tossing Wonderweiss to the side, Kensei ran over to building and placed Mashiro down.

"K…Kensei"Mashiro said weakly. "Are you…gonna avenge me?...heheh…"

Kensei frowned at her. "What're you looking so happy about? You ended up like this because you didn't listen to my warning. Like I'd avenge such a blockhead." He pulled out his blade. "I'm just gonna give this annoying little kid…a taste of my fists."

Wonderweiss came flying at him.

"Bankai!"Kensei yelled."Tekken Tachikaze!"

In a burst of energy, Kensei had gained two large knuckle blades that he held in each hand. Purple bands wrapped around his arms like armor and thicker bands arched, protruding from under his shoulders and hung behind him, over his head.

Yelling their heads off, Kensei and Wonderweiss charged at each other. The result was a massive explosion that took place behind Aizen. He gave it no need as he looked at his enemies all gathered to defeat him.

"Shall we get started?"he asked the crowd."The Gotei 13, my treacherous Espada, and you shoddy Arrancar wannabes?"

That made many of them angry.

"This guy is getting on my nerves."Kara said.

"I wouldn't be too quick to go near him," Shinji told everyone. "With Aizen's ability, if you go near him without a plan in mind, you'll be done for before you begin."

Hiyori scoffed. "We know that."

Shinji frowned at her. "Loosen up that grip on your blade, Hiyori," he told her firmly.

"Charming," Aizen said, drawing everyone's attention back onto him. "You were always one to care deeply for others, Captain Hirako. However, "You'll be done for if you go near him without a plan in mind" is an amusing thing for you to say."

"Whether you approach me carelessly…with the utmost of care…or indeed refrain from approaching me at all… the outcome will be the same. I speak not of the future, you understand. All of your fates…have already been established. They cannot be escaped."

The Visoreds began to tense.

"He's trying to provoke us!" Shinji yelled. "Don't listen!"

"What have any of you to fear?" Aizen asked. "Every one of you died…that night one hundred years ago."

Finally Hiyori snapped. She was not going to allow this man to get away with this anymore. She charged at him with everything she had.

"Hiyori!" Shinji cried

Aizen just watched in amusement as Hiyori came at him. She raised her blade, eager to cut him down, but then she froze. She looked behind her and saw that her legs had been sliced clean off. Gin, who was now holding an incredibly long sword, watched her as she fell to the ground.

"And that's one down." Gin said as his blade shrunk down.

Matsumoto glared daggers at Gin, furious at what he had done.

"Hiyori!" Shinji cried as he went down to grab her.

But then Jessica used her ring to grab her and put her down while Nyx uses her magic to make a barrier to heal her.

Shinji goes to them and Nyx said:"This will help her survive."

"Thank you."He smiled.

Hachi then came to they're side."I'll help watching over her."Shinji nodded.

Decade then goes to they're side.

"Riku, can you, Rai and Shun defeat Aizen?"Shinji asked.

"Yes, there is a chance."Decade said.

"You, your putting a lot of faith on the riders."Aizen said.

"Shut up, these guys have been through so much."Loly said.

"If anyone can defeat you, Shun can!"Apacci yelled. "We believe in him!" Mila Rose and Sung-Sun nodded in agreement.

Aizen looked at her. "Believing in someone is the same as depending on them. That is something the weak do. We have no use for it."

Shinji regarded Aizen curiously. "How can you say that will all those followers of yours? I'm sure you asked them to trust you."

"No."Aizen told him."I never asked them to trust me at all. I told them to come with me, but I never told them to trust me and I always told them not to trust anyone, including myself. Sadly, there are not many strong enough to do that."

All the Arrancar were now furious. Harribel, Nelliel, and Starrk all frowned at hearing Aizen's words. The flat out truth came out. Aizen really didn't give a damn about them at all.

"He didn't care about us."Menoly said.

"That bastard."Loly said.

"Aizen saved us from our loneliness! He brought us into his army and made us number one! After all he did..."Lilynette looked down in hurt and felt betrayed."Then Aizen, he…he…really never cared for us! We've were nothing but pawns to him the whole time!" She clenched her fists repeatedly."Dammit! Dammit! Dammit!"

Hearing that gave Starrk a sense of…satisfaction for joining Rai's side.

"All creatures place their faith in someone more powerful than them and they cannot survive unless they blindly follow that person."Aizen went on."The recipient of that faith then seeks out someone in an even higher position in order to escape that pressure. That person then seeks out someone even more powerful that he must put his faith in. In this way, all kings are born and in this way, all Gods are born. Do not believe in me yet, Hirako Shinji, for now I shall show you the God that you will put your faith in. Believing in me comes after that."

"Oh yeah, just wait until Shun and Rai get here."Decade said.

With Blade and Ghost

They were still facing against Tosen.

"What's going on there?"Ghost said looking at where the other battle is happening.

"So lord Aizen is now in the front lines."Tosen said.

Ghost then grabs him by the shirt."How can you stand there and just say you don't care about the lives that will be lost."

"You allowed them to corrupt both of you, we should be fighting together not against each other."Tosen said.

"If fighting you mean murder innocent people, then we will fight you."Blade said.

"Be warned Rai, Shun, I didn't use my full power."Tosen said.

"Your bankai?"Komamura said.

"What, we've seen that already."Blade said.

"Don't make me laugh," Tosen said to Komamura. "Aizen-sama has given me something far more powerful than a Bankai.

He brought a hand to his face. Komamura and Hisagi's eyes widened.

"Tosen!" Komamura yelled. "You can't mean..."

With a face of his hand, Tosen was engulfed by an explosion of spiritual energy. The riders, Hisagi, and Komamura had to cover their eyes from the aftereffects. A powerful cyclone.

"Tosen." Komamura said quietly before yelling. "Have you fallen that far! Tosen!"

Hisagi managed to open his eyes slightly. "Captain."

When the smoke cleared, Tosen stood standing with his appearance having changed drastically. He wore a pure, white mask that covered most of his head, neck, and throat, except for a small hole in the back for his hair. It has a smooth white surface, with the only feature being a bilateral line down the middle, separating the mask into two portions. Tosen's outfit also changed, losing the orange strap on his shoulder and gained a chest plate and a pair of small slim shoulder guards with designs similar to his mask.

"That mask."Ghost said.

"It's like Ichigo's."Blade said.

"Hollowfication"

Ghost and Blade turned to look at Hisagi, who was looking at Tosen while trembling. "Is that…is that a Hollowfication, Captain Tosen!"

"It is." Tosen said plainly.

Hisagi had a pained look on his face. "Why?"

In reply, Tosen suddenly appeared and slashed Hisagi down his side. Blood shot out of his new wound.

"Hisagi!" Komamura cried.

"Tenken!" A gigantic arm holding a sword came out of nowhere and brought its sword down to slice Tosen. Tosen raised his blade and blocked the giant sword.

"What?" Komamura said shocked.

Tosen pivoted his body, ready to spin kick Komamura in the side, and he probably would have too if Blade hadn't tackled him. Before Tosen had the chance to attack, Ghost punched Tosen dead on. After the punch, Tosen turned his face so that he was looking at Blade. He slammed his own fist into Blade's body. The blow sent him crashing down into the streets below.

"Rai!"Ghost went to check on him and lifted him up.

"It's strange."Tosen said to the wolf-like captain. "That half-shinigami boy of yours has the same Hollowfication powers. So why is the same thing despised in me?"

"Kurosaki Ichigo did not ask for Hollowfication." Komamura replied. "But not so with you. You had more than enough strength as a Shinigami, yet you set foot down this path of your own volition. So you have fallen, Tosen !"

"Fallen?" Tosen asked. "Why is it falling for a Shinigami to become more like a Hollow? That only makes sense if you have a narrow, black-and-white view of the world."

"That's not true!" Komamura yelled. "You betrayed your friends, your troops, your allies! All for the sake of power! That is why I say you have fallen!"

"Komamura." Tosen whispered softly.

Just then, a chain wrapped around Tosen's neck and yanked him backwards. The riders saw that it was Hisagi who pulled Tosen into one of the buildings. After he did so, Hisagi pinned Tosen to the ground with a hand on his throat and a weapon that looked like a bladed pinwheel aimed at Tosen's head.

"I guess I rushed in too soon." Tosen said."I underestimated you."

"No."Hisagi replied. "I reflexively sidestepped. I keep my sword out so I'm able to sidestep at any moment. Captain Tosen, you taught me this."

"Let's go."Ghost and Blade went up.

They then tackled Tosen and started to slash at him but he blocked they're swords before thowing Hisagi away.

"Bankai!"Komamura said.

They then saw a giant warrior.

"Do you think that will help you."Tosen said.

The giant attacks Tosen but he slashes his arm making Komamura get one too.

"What, if he gets hit, it hurts him."Blade said.

Ghost then slashes at Tosen from behind but then saw the wound healing."Regeneration."

Komamura sighed as he heard this. "You really have given up being a Shinigami…Tosen."

"Under these circumstances."Tosen replied. "That just sounds like sour grapes, Komamura. You said that I had fallen, that I had fallen because I betrayed my friends and followers, for the sake of power. However, let me ask you this…If one has joined an organization for the sake of revenge, would it not be falling to forget one's goal and live instead a peaceful life within said organization?"

Ghost and Blade were confused by Tosen's words at first, but then the truth hit them hard.

"I may not be able to see."Tosen continued, "But to me that looks like the greater fall."

"Tōsen," Komamura said softly. "You…became a Shinigami…"

"For revenge."Tosen said. "Did you never think to wonder why I should join the same organization as the murderer of my closest friend!" As he said this, a crack began to form and spread around the part where Tosen's mouth should be.

"I…" Komamura said weakly. "I thought it was for justice. I believed in you when you said you wanted justice for your lost friend."

"Exactly."Tosen told him. "Justice."

Komamura couldn't take it anymore."Then…"

"What is justice!"Tosen and Komamura cried at the same time..

By now the crack had spread enough and now Tosen's mask had a disturbing looking mouth.

"What is justice!"Tosen roared again. "Forgiving the person who killed the person you love! That is truly virtuous! It's beautiful! So much that I can't bear to look upon it! But does being virtuous imply justice! No! Living on in life of peaceful harmony without avenging your fallen friend is wickedness! Shun!" he yelled to Ghost."Did you not punish Nnoitra when he hurt your companions? How is that any different from what I am doing right now! You are accusing me of being evil when you are nothing but a hypocrite!"

"That's not true!" Ghost yelled. "Okay, I can understand you being mad at the guy who killed your friend but that doesn't mean that everyone else is to blame."

"That's right, we do that to protect what we love."Blade said.

"They allowed him to get away with her murder!"Tosen yelled. "He was not punished at all for his crimes! You say you want to help people, Shun, Rai. How can you let such evil deeds go unpunished!"

"Tosen."Ghost said."I can understand that you want to avenge your friend but this isn't the way."

"This is the only way!"Tosen yelled."This is justice!"

"I see."Komamura said, causing Tosen and Ghost to bring their attention over to him. Komamura was looking up at Tosen."Apparently, I misjudged you. If this is how you truly feel, then you and I are destined to be in conflict."

"Does that mean you'll kill me now?"Tosen asked. "Is that your justice, don't make me laugh."

"Yes."Komamura said. "It is justice. If we have a fundamental disagreement then it is useless to try and convince you otherwise. I must kill you for the sake of Soul Society."

"Stop!"Blade and Ghost went in between them surprising both of them."

"There will not be anyone getting killed."Blade said.

"That's right, we'll find a way to open his eyes."Ghost said.

"Shun, Rai."Komamura said.

"Very virtuous but since we are enemies."Tosen said."Allow me to use my ressurction."That surprised them.

"Suzumushi Hyakushiki!" Tosen pointed his sword downward. "Grillar Grillo!"

Tosen's body was covered in massive body of darkness. The riders and Komamura watched as the blackness took shape. Before the two fighter's eyes, Tosen became a gigantic insectoid Hollow. The darkness had become black fur, with a large Hollow hole in his chest. He had four long arms with clawed hands. Two spiral horns stuck out of his now hunched back. The points had rings and chains hanging around them. His head was like that of a cricket with jagged teeth. He had a long busy tail and two pairs of wings. His face had bulbous eyes that opened up.

"I can see you."Tosen cried happily. "I can see you!" he began looking all around. He looked into the sky"So this is the sky!" He looked at the fallen Hisagi."So this is blood!" He looked all over the place. "So this is the world!" He looked back at the riders and Komamura. "So that is what the two of you look like. Komamura. You are uglier than I thought."

He then looks at the riders."So those are your suits, fitting with the names."

"Tosen!"The riders said and they went to face him.

MACH!

Blade goes foward to slash at him but then Tosen vanished and hits him and Ghost away.

"Ha, I'm much faster than you!"Tosen said.

They recovered and went to fight against before they were being knocked around by him and he sends them to the ground with a cero making the riders transform back to normal.

"Rai, Shun!"Komamura said.

"Now where were we."Tosen looks at Komamura.

Rai and Shun opened they're eyes to see Tosen hurting Komamura's giant making him scream in pain, they stare at they're former ally and glare at him, all this for revenge, if he thinks this is justice, they should use the power of darkness.

A new eyecon appeared in Shun's hand and Rai takes out the king card.

KING!

They then transformed in dark energy.

Tosen laughs hurting Komamura but then he heard something behind him, he looks back to see the King of Spades undead behind him."Hey Tosen."

"Rai."He looks at him."That's a ugly form you have now."

Komamura looks at the form and gets surprised."Is that an undead."

"Oh your calling me ugly, the king."Rai said.

"Yes he did."Tosen looks to his right to see Shun's new form being a superior Gamma."You know, if what your doing is justice then to defeat that twisted justice we decided to use the power of darkness."

"The power of darkness."Tosen said.

"Yes, now."Rai then appears in front of Tosen and slashes at him making Tosen scream.

He then flies away but Shun appears behind him."Where do you think you going?"He then kicks him to the ground.

Shun then lands on a roof."How about we have some fun, Ayon!"Ayon then comes to his side.

Tosen looks and sees Shun go inside of Ayon's chest making him grow spikes on it's shoulder and arm blades.

"He merged with that beast."Komamura said.

"That's correct, Ayon will have to sleep for now."Shun's voice was heard from Ayon.

Shun then punches Tosen many times before throwing him to the sky, Rai then slashes him from behind many times before kicking Tosen away.

Tosen recovers and sees both of them staring at him."I will not be defeated."He then sends a scream at them but his mouth got covered up but hand, he then sees it was Shun who exited Ayon right away.

"I don't think so."He then lifts his hand up and a new eyecon came and a ulorder appeared on his arm.

He presses the button.

HOLLOW!

He then inserts it.

LOADING!

Then a new parka with it being black but with a white hood and bone like claws for shoulders, it then attaches to Shun and they saw a Hollow like mask appear on his face with it being like Ichigo's but with the top being like his gamma face.

"What a hollow form?!"Tosen got shocked.

"Of course, shouldn't Gamma and Hollows be the same."He then punches him away."Now."He then charges up a cero hitting Tosen away.

"Ow!"Tosen screams but then he saw Rai appear in front of him, then his head starts to twitch and a Hollow mask version of a beetle appeared."Another!"He then gets slashed many times before he shoots a gold cero sending him away.

Tosen was on the ground and he sees the two kaijin walking towards him.

"What's wrong, what happened to all that about punishing the evil."Shun said and he takes out a dark lantern ring."Was it all talk?"He then puts it on his finger and he was able to control the darkness for now and he sees a beam from it to Tosen making him revert back to normal.

They looked at Komamura and Rai said:"He's fine."

"I see, so that was all a act."Komamura said.

"Yeah, we decided to give him a taste of his own medicine, but he'll live."Shun said.

"Thank you, I'll look after him."Komamura said.

"Yes, Aizen."They said before they went towards him.

The others were watching the fight between Shinji and Aizen with Aizen getting the control of it.

But then they saw two people arrive, they saw it was Shun and Rai in they're normal Kaijin forms with Shun having the perfect parka.

"Hello Aizen."Shun said.

"Shun!"The girls that liked him got shocked.

"What is that form?"Toshiro said.

"It's my new Gamma form."Shun said.

"I see."Aizen smiles seeing it."I did miss you both."

"Could that be the undead."Ukitake looks at Rai.

"I'll be honest, I always wondered what it would be like fighting you both."Aizen said but then a dark slash came from the sky hitting Aizen making a explosion.

Note:soon the guys will fight against Aizen most of his generals are gone or have defected.
