Saulie: n. a hired mourner

"Are you kidding?" Hogan's contact asked, looking like he'd rather swallow a spider than follow Hogan's latest plan.

"It will give us our distraction, and we can't do it ourselves without risking being recognized."

"Fine," the man agreed, "but only if you pay us."

And so it was that the next night the entire High-Topper Mountain underground cell bobbed through the forest outside camp, wearing white sheets and making ghostly mourning sounds. Hogan's men took advantage, photographing all the papers in the superstitious visiting general's briefcase.

The haunted general's terrified recommendation to move their entire camp was an unintended consequence.
