They arrived at the village which wasn't that far by car. And it was way more comfortable than walking all the way there. Yang was mostly in her thoughts, not even looking out the window to see the view or know which way they were going to get there. Ruby wasn't that immersed in her own head. She was talking with Tori about basic stuff and it was weird hearing her talking a lot about the place. But Yang remembered they mentioned they were from here or something like that. Not like she was listening in on their conversation. Ruby looked happy as she had an interested face while the woman talked about things. Yang prefered the adventure rather than sightseeing with a boring history behind them.
She was thinking about what to say to their teammates if they do find them. Well, they are in the dark so they don't know about the fact that basically everyone knows what's going on between them. Yang herself didn't even know if something romantic was there. Yeah, it seems Blake loves Weiss as Cyra told them, but that didn't mean that it was mutual. Although, the fact bothered her. Never even once has she seen her show any sign of feeling towards the heiress. She fully believed that they weren't fond of each other. What if she forces herself on Weiss? Because the huge question here is the heiress.
When they arrived Tori needed to call for Yang a few times to get out of the car. She was so immersed in her own world that she ignored the real one completely. But eventually she heard the voice and broke out of her contemplation.
They decided to separate and look for them alone. They save more time with this method. They agreed that if someone found them, they would send a quick message to the others.
Yang went into an inn to ask for their names, whether they were here or not. She checked a few places now and decided that maybe this will be the last one as she lost all her interest in this whole search. But life found her body again as she got happy when the concierge told her that there were people staying here with the exact names. But soon enough that happiness died down when she remembered that specific fact that changed everything.
She went upstairs and stood in front of the door for a few seconds before fixing herself and knocking. After half a minute Weiss opened the door for her, looking at her surprised. She wasn't really expecting her which wasn't hard to guess. Yang noticed that she looked a bit flushed and her hair was a mess but didn't seem like she cared.
"Yang?" She asked and the blonde saw as she looked behind her to check if anyone else was there.
"Hey Weiss. It's just me." She said, not giving any weird feeling away. And again, with a better look it wasn't hard to notice that little red spot on Weiss' neck.
"What happened to your neck? Did you get in a fight?" Yang had an idea but she refused to believe that. She wanted to hear how Weiss would respond to this.
"What?" She automatically looked down, feeling herself stupid when she realized she can't see her own neck. That's what happens when that faunus seduces her. Every rational thing just disappears from her mind. "Ohhh that… yeah we got into a fight of some sort…" She dragged it out, revealing the obvious fact that she comes up with this now, making Yang the more infuriated. She shouldn't feel this way but the thought that Blake did that didn't let her rest.
"With Blake?"
"Yeah." She replied quickly but then realized what Yang just asked. And that made the blonde furious as she originally thought they did something intimate and that's when it happened. But the thought that Blake physically hurt her made her want to beat the crap out of her. Weiss noticed the red tint in her eyes. Yang hated when someone abused the other but when it came to teammates it made her angry within seconds. She wanted to go inside but Weiss held her back.
"No Yang, I didn't mean to say that. She didn't do anything." Why wasn't she telling her the truth? Now she thinks that Blake hurt her or something. "It wasn't Blake. I misunderstood your question." She tried but Yang's strength was hard to keep in place.
"Then tell me what the fuck happened already!" She asked loudly, looking in her eyes. Weiss pulled her into the room, closing the door. She didn't want to disturb the people who stayed in this inn. And it was still early in the morning. Weiss thought quickly to come up with something.
"Some guys we met when we were looking for a place to stay. One of them grabbed my neck but Blake beat them up." Weiss said, not looking in her eyes.
"Do you seriously think I will believe that? Don't try to protect her. I know what she can do."
"Yang?" She whispered-shouted at her. "Why are you so on edge today? Why do you want to hurt Blake so badly? That wouldn't solve anything. And she didn't do anything with me in the first place." Weiss asked and it seemed the blonde calmed down a bit as her eyes turned back to normal. Somehow she gets angry today so fast that it scares her. And why does she need a reason to hurt Blake? She didn't do anything. It just hurts her that she has eyes for someone else.
"I thought she went crazy again and hurt you. You know I just want to protect my friends."
"But she didn't do anything and you were about to attack your friend instead of protecting her." Yang brushed her hair back.
"But then what happened—"
"Hey Weiss…?" Blake opened the door and came out of the bathroom. She was brushing her teeth and was so into her own mind that didn't even pay attention to the conversation that was going on outside. And the least she was expecting was Yang standing there. Whose eyes were looking at something else and not her own. Her face started to become red and Blake's immediate thought was that because she was angry. She wasn't, it was something else. She noticed that Weiss was pinching her nose and Yang was staring at something on her.
She looked down. Oh yeah, she forgot to put her pants on. She thought the cleaning lady had already been gone, but she didn't expect to see her partner here.
She moved her hands in front of her crotch to hide it while the toothbrush was hanging in her mouth. She raised her brows, waiting for Yang to look up in her eyes.
"Wehh, nov I oly hae to tell Ruy, riht Weis?" She said. At least she managed to say what she could with the toothbrush hanging in her mouth. Yang looked at Weiss after this, seeing her irritated face. Weiss looked at her too with a blank face.
"Can you at least say something?" She pleaded to the blonde whose mouth was agape.
"I… would have never thought…" That's all she said and turned her face to keep looking at it. Blake crouched down.
"Okay, stop staring." She said, dropping the toothbrush from her mouth and a little foamy toothpaste dropped on the floor as well, making a mess of the faunus. She stayed in this position when Yang finally moved her eyes away from her.
"Blake, do something with yourself!" Weiss shouted at her in anger as she was making a mess on the floor and of herself. Blake stood up fastly and ran to the sink to spit it out and rinse her mouth.
"Since when do you know about this?" The blonde directed this question to the heiress.
"Since yesterday." Weiss only said this much, not getting into details.
"How did you find out?" Blake heard this and looked back at Weiss. She saw the panic on her face. She rushed out, stopping in the doorframe.
"I told her! That's it. I wanted to tell you guys too, but it's not something I prefer talking about. And… I was alone with Weiss so I thought it would be a great opportunity." She answered, mostly satisfied with what she came up with.
"Okay… And what did you do with her neck?" Yang asked, becoming stern and keeping her eyes on the faunus'. She had to restrain herself not looking down.
"What's with her neck?" She got closer to them to see it. But still left some gap between them just in case.
"You don't remember?" Yang concluded that she did go fierce if she doesn't remember it.
"Yang! We've suffered injuries before. This is nothing. Why are you so hung up on it?" Weiss asked. This shouldn't be a big deal. It was only just a scratch, which it wasn't but nevermind.
"Because it's either a hickey or someone suffocated you. None of them are cool. But if Blake forced herself on you because you know… it seems she has a dick—"
"Hey! Why would you think I would do that? Just because I have—"
"Oh Blake. I well know if I would just touch it through your boxer you would be erected already." Blake looked away, embarrassed as hell. Weiss watched her reaction, not knowing what to think about it. "You know what? I'm aware that you have a thing for Weiss. Does she have something for you too?" She asked, looking at Weiss but directing the question at the faunus.
"H-how do you—?" Blake tried asking but Yang interrupted her.
"Not important." Not answering this seemed unfair but she won't tell on Cyra. Even though she was pretty harsh and cruel when she said the truth, but at least she did. "Based on your reaction, it's true…" She became a bit sad but tried to hide it. Weiss was looking at her, figuring her out. Yang looked at her, surprising her a bit as to what comes next. "So you guys made out or something?"
"What if we did?" Blake answered without much waiting. Weiss shot a glare at her. "It's none of your business." She said, pushing her ears down and looking at the floor. It showed how much she didn't like to say this. Knowing this Yang wasn't angry but understanding.
"I'm your teammate and partner at that, Blake. If you guys are dating or something you should tell your friends."
"We are not dating." Weiss said, looking at Blake strictly. Blake glanced up at her, seeing everything on her face. Yeah she told the truth without the consent of Weiss but what else was she meant to do? Yang was watching the faunus' hurt face and wanted to wrap her arms around her so badly. It wasn't the time for that. It was clear for her that Blake has a crush on Weiss but she wasn't sure about the heiress.
"Yeah… we are not." She said quietly, moving to where her pants were lying, which was actually Yang's. She pulled it up slowly and you could see clearly how her mood changed all of a sudden. In the meantime, Weiss made the bed. Even though Yang didn't want to leave them alone she had to. They really need some alone time now and she is just standing between them and she hates this situation.
"I will wait for you guys down there. And let the others know that I found you." Yang said, walking out of that room, not giving them a chance to refuse it.
Weiss was staying quiet while folding the blankets. Blake already dressed up, doing nothing productive at the moment.
"Hey, let me help you." She moved close and snatched the blanket away from the heiress' hand who now stood there, looking at the floor.
"I'm sorry." She said in a low voice. But she knew Blake would hear it.
"Huh?" She turned her way, stopping her movements.
"About how I behaved. You had every right to tell her what we did." Blake tossed the blanket down, hugging the heiress close to herself.
"I thought you were mad at me." She said, not loosening the hug at all. Weiss hugged her back, burying her face into her chest. For a while now, Blake's closeness always calmed her down. They stayed like this for a minute and then both of them pulled away.
"So are we good?" Blake asked.
"Yes... Also, I already told Ruby about your interest in me a while back when I needed some advice so it would be wrong of me if I would be mad at you about it. It seems Yang knows it too… I guess it's not a secret anymore." Somehow she felt happy about that.
"Does that mean we are dating?"
"I-I guess. But don't expect anything different from me." She said with a blush on her face.
"Don't worry. I will teach you everything, my princess." Weiss pulled away, hearing this while rolling her eyes.
"If you call me that again, I'm going to pull your ears where it hurts." She said, hearing as the faunus was laughing. "I love seeing you laugh." Blake looked at her with a huge smile on her face.
"And I love you. But now we should go because Yang is waiting for us." She interlocked their hands as she pulled Weiss with her. She didn't care what the others would think anymore.
