Z in the sea of pirates bonus chapter one
The tall but extremely thin figure walked across the wooden boards, creaks following every step follow. He could feel the dark energy lingering in the air as he took a seat placing the tea set down and looked out towards the setting sun while humming an eerie tune under his breath.
The sun slowly setting behind the horizon as wave gently crashed against the hull of the wooden boat. He settles himself in a seat, cup of tea in hand as the cold feeling intensified.
"Oi Brook" Usopp, the long-nosed member of the crew the ship belonged to, called the thin figure. white gleamed in the dying sun as said male turned towards his crewmate. "What are you doing? You're not" Usopp turned pale in horror at the skeleton man, "expecting a ghost, are you?"
"That would require me being fucking dead" a female voice cut though the tense silence.
Less than a second later a girlish scream echoed throughout the ship, alerting the crew to the new comer. Only to be followed by brook's signature laugh. The women - in question scowled, slumping into the seat as she half-hearted glared at the man. "Yohohoho good to see you, old friend!" brook grinned at the women who nodded before responded, "still fucking dead I see"
"Though I don't have eyes to see... Yohoho!"
Z glanced at the skeleton before her, it was a strange combination and one that shouldn't be possible yet here it was. He was, you could say her only 'living' friend before she met the troupe. Shame he was in a different realm. She glanced about the ship she was sat on – taking it the light and well kept, obviously loved ship. It felt alive almost. Then her attention turns towards the living crew of the ship. "I see you put to rest your old ship"
"Ah, yes well a lot of things have happened since we last spoke, will you be staying here long?"
To which Z shrugged unsure as to the react time she would be leaving. "Probs when the sun rises, I will return"
"B-B-Brook!" Whisper shouted the long nose male his face pale, "w-who's that!?"
"Oh my, I forget to introduce you. Dear Z this is Usopp sniper of my new crew the Straw-hats! Usopp this is Z"
"Still a pirate?"
"Yohoho, Onces a pirate always a pirate!"
The skeleton then began to introduce the angel to the rest of the crew who rushed out onto the deck after hearing the commotion of usopp scream. "Then we have Zoro, swordman. Nami the navigator, Robin the archaeologist. Chopper, the doctor"
"What the fuck..." Z muttered staring at the reindeer? Racoon? Creature before shrugging, deciding she wasn't going to deal with this shit...
"Franky, the shipwright. Luffy the captain and Sanji the cook"
"What a bea-"
"Don't touch me! Don't come near me" She muttered darkly towards the blonde male who came too close for comfort with heart? Eyes. What the hell?
"My crew! Plus, Hachi and Camie who are currently joining us for the moment. Guys this is Z, I have her old bounty somewhere" with that brook splint open his own head, rummaging through the contents before reliving a worn bounty poster.
"Why the fuck, do you have that in there?" Z questioned the dead man, unnerve with him for keeping a photo of her there. Though not at all caring that he opened his skull wide...
"Angel of death. Captain of dead man's crew" brook grinned, showing the crew the poster.
"I am not the captain of that ship" Z muttered sourly taking a sip of the alcohol filled tea cup.
"They would say differently my dear" brook chuckled as the crew like at the poster.
"3,340,000,001 BERRIS!?" the crew exclaimed in horror taking in the number of the bounty.
"Yo-ho-ho! Impressive isn't it! Her first bounty was 2,000,000,000!"
"I just killed some people that's all, didn't see what the big deal was"
"You kill 4 celestial dragons and those in the slave market that were trying to buy and sell you..." brook muttered staring in disbelief at the blank faced women.
"Some people. Death doesn't care who or what you are. Its equal to all"
"W-wait! You killed a dragon..." Hachi muttered horrified.
"I haven't killed a dragon. I killed a human being" Z countered turned towards the octopus looking male.
"I think you broke them dear~" a female voiced called as she shadows shifted behind her – so that the female shaped shadows appeared to be leaning on the sitting angels shoulders.
"Inkar what do you want?"
"I wanted to say hi~" the lustful spirit spoke, stroking the Raveonette's hair as usopp and chopper shrieked in horror.
"GHOST! get the garlic and steaks!"
"What the fuck do you need those for?" Z muttered in confusion at the panicking pair.
"ehehehe! What a weird lady!" Luffy laughed causing Nami to snack the rubber man over this head.
"Don't insult someone who could wipe us out!" Nami whisper yelled.
Brook beside her chuckled quietly before muttering about lively his crew was. She watched the crew interact with each other before turning back towards Inkar who was making sly gestures towards the blonde chef.
"Inkar" she stated in a tone of warning to the lustful spirit.
"So, how did you and brook meet?" the tall dark-haired women asked, placing a seat the other side of her. Z thought her name was robin?
"Well, I was very drunk and hungry which lead to that." Z gestured to the bounty poster laying innocently on the table, "I realised I was in the wrong bloodily relm. I wandered the sea and hear rumours about something fucking ghosts. Ended up in the... Fuck I don't know what it's called..."
"The Florian triangle dear" brook interjected.
"That place, and ended up on brook's broken ship for a while. Never seen a moving, living skeleton with its soul before, and I see a bloody a lot in my line of work. Every year, I pop though the veil and say hello, to help move folks on if needed"
"It was quite an experience!" brook laughed. "She spotted me, went 'fuck no' and found a bed to sleep in! Then I got chatting to lovely inkar here and Asem. How have you been inkar? May I see your panties?"
"You can dear! Only for the price of your soul~" purred inkar, tracing a shadowy finger along the bone of his jawline.
"Another time then! I have things to still do"
"shame~"
"Good to see new life in you, old friend" Asem spoke, his shadow figure appearing on the other side of Z.
"Still haven't found anyone strong to defeat you yet?" brook asked the warrior spirt.
"There has been a few but I have been unable to battle them."
"yoho! You should stay here awhile there are many strong pirates on the seas"
"I shouldn't been staying too long in this realm, it may dispute things... and pirates give me a headache" Z muttered adding the last bit as an afterthought.
"Is no one going to question the realm thing?" someone muttered in the background, to which Z ignored turning towards the sea.
"Oh fuck..." she muttered taking another sip of her drink. "Looks like I'm going to head off early"
"Why!" Luffy whined a pout going on his face. "Your strange! It's funny! Wanna join my crew?"
"Looks like the rest of Deadmans crew has sense my fucking presence. That's a headache and a half. I'm too sober to deal with this bullshit"
The rest of the pirate crew turned towards the direction Z was glaring in. On the horizon, drawing near with impossible speed was a grim looking ship. Chopper, shuttered running round, Nami and usopp the pair hugging each other in fear, as the shuttered words escaped their pale lips.
"G-G-GHOST S-S-SHIP!"
"oh, I wonder if they want to join my crew!" Luffy chuckled only to be punched my Nami.
"Don't even joke about that!"
"How is that even floating?!" asked the cyborg. "that's super holey!"
His statement was correct, the Deadman ship was barely holding itself together, the sails were in tatters the wind just blowing though the dirty sheets. The hull had a number of holes thought the rotten and decaying wood. The straw-hat crew looked closer the ship seemed to have an eerie glow surrounding it through the fog that followed the dead ship.
"I should go" Z muttered getting to her feet. Instant three bodies collected with her.
"NOoooOooooOooo!" Nami, Usopp and Chopper screamed in fear at the appointing boat. "You brought it here! you get rid of it!"
"Scary! It's scary!"
"We need the garlic and stakes!"
"That isn't how it works" Z deadpanned at the clinging trio. She couldn't leave with them attracted, yet if she stayed at the ghost ship caught up with them...
She let out a sigh, "This is bullshit. Brook deal with your crew, get them off me!"
"Yohoho!" brook chuckled at his friend, "you just have to stay a little longer"
"I have fucking stuff to do, called these bastards off"
"It a little too late my dear~" inkar purred resting a shadowy head on the angel's shoulder.
"oh, for fucks sake" Z muttered, black eyes flickering too the rotten eyes of a decaying faded corpse inches away from her face.
"Ahhh!" the coward trio scream in terror scrambling away from the angel in fear.
"Mistress! It's been to long!"
"Not fucking long enough" Z deadpanned, black hues lifeless as she stares blankly at the ghost floating inches away from her face.
She didn't want to deal with this...
But we shall leave the tale of pirates for now.

sorry about the delay... again. a number of things have happened... yeah.
anyhow i was asked about wee bonus chapter after metions Z and pirates in a preivious chapter! soo here we are after i finally got round to writing it!
still coming up with a decent storyarch for the next part of Z story - think its defo going to invloved the ark but im trying to work out the kinks if you know what i mean!
