"Wow, Helen," Estrella said to her girlfriend. "It was really nice of your cousin and his wife to invite us over for New Year's Eve."
"I've never been to New Year's in the warm weather before," Issac replied. "This is a good chance for my geography report this January."
Leah knew that her Issac always handed his homework ahead of time, so he could continue in the decathalon team. In front of the shop, they met a cute boy with blond hair and blue highlights and Hawaiian apparel.
"Colson!" Helen shouted as she hugged her cousin. "This is my girlfriend Estrella and her amigos Leah, Tania, Paige, Kaylin, and Rylie."
Then Kirby popped up dressed as a hula boy. "And of course, their little friend, Kirby," Helen continued, "Lititz Heights' hero."
"Of course," giggled Colson. "Aliens told me a lot about you. The star warrior with the mind of a toddler."
Kirby hopped out of Colson's hands and started eating the shaved ice that a yellow sponge and a pink star were eating.
"You like pickle-shaved ice?" the pink star asked. "Yummy!"
"That is about the most disgusting flavor I've ever heard," insulted Tokkori. "Try going to the dentist."
Rylie grabbed Tokkori's mouth before he started insulting the tourists. Colson explained that the sponge and star were SpongeBob and Patrick, who were regular customers that constantly caused problems, and the pretty Hawaiian lady was his wife Meilani, who was the head waitress.
Meilani was giving SpongeBob and Patrick shaved-ice versions of Triple Gooberberry Sunrise, "A little help here, Colson?" she asked. "I don't want Hu'eu to get customer complaints again."
The Klue Queens and Issac were thrilled that Colson was loyal to the two lovable oafs. "In Hawaii," Colson explained, "we sometiems address ourselves as 'Auntie' or 'Uncle."
"Crazy," Kaylin replied, "but it reminds us of the true meaning of family."
Tokkori was so annoyed about family, he took a newspaper from an elderly lady and read it. On the cover, Paige could see a report from last week.

Police are still on search for the theft.
"What is the Kamauoha Diamond?" Leah asked curiously.
"One of the rarest diamonds in Hawaii," Colson explained. "It's been a week since the theft and they haven't had a clue. The only clue is an address card to Hoku Street, where their shops are."
Helen was hoping that the shop wasn't the culprit, so they decided to investigate for them. "I'M READY!" shouted SpongeBob as Leah grabbed a hold of him and covered his mouth. "I just love helping new friends!"
"Take it easy, SpongeBob," snarled Leah. "We don't want you to blow your cover."
"Sorry," SpongeBob replied. "And Patrick wants to help too."
Worried that Patrick would eat all the profits again, they decided to let him investigate too. By a table, Colson gave out a list of suspects to who would wanna steal the diamond.
Suspects
Nani Kawai (Retired surfing instructor/tourist trap lady) - Wore jewels similar to to the stolen diamond.
Malie and KeoKekaula (Jewelry shop owners) - Experience in jewels and current display has the same color as the stolen jewels.
Hu'eu Kalili (Meilani's older sister and manager of Kalili Kravings) - Disapproves her little sister's

In front of the tourist trap shop known as Tropical Trap, Leah, Paige, and Issac were arriving to talk about the missing jewel. Nani heard about the theft, but the jewels she had on were onyx replicas of the stolen jewel. "The museum sells these things all the time and I thought I could bring good luck to my tourist trap," she explained. This meant one thing - she didn't do it.

Meanwhile at Kalili Kravings, Tania, Estrella, and Helen went undercover as a bunch of workers so they can learn about Hu'Eu. Luckily, Meilani distracted her with overdue bills and marketing deals so she won't suspect the fake employees.
"I like to complain!" shouted an employee. "Someone has put monkey-spit on my shaved ice!"
In the kitchen, a disgusted Estrella saw Swinger placing monkey spit into the shaved ice. "Swinger," she scolded, "what did I tell you about putting monkey spit on food?"
Swinger felt bad because he was only trying to help. "I'll eat it!" Patrick shouted as he ate the monkey-spit shaved ice.
To make up for scolding Swinger, Estrella gave him a banana shaved ice when she spotted a clue on the ground. It was a flier for the movie "Titanic." Estrella remembered Helen telling her that last week they had a movie-in for "Titanic," and Kekaula met for the first time via same shop and movie where Meilani and Hu'Eu's parents opened it and did monthly movie-ins for those who couldn't afford movie tickets.
"When will they show a horror movie?" Patrick asked as he got out some halloween cookies.
"Patrick," replied Tania as she got out some grape flavoring, "this is not Halloween. This is New Year's Eve."

Meanwhile at The Heart of the Jewels, Kaylin and Rylie were both looking around the jewels when a middle-aged couple came up. "May we help you?" asked the elderly man.
"Are you two Malie and Keo Kekaula?" Rylie asked.
"That's us," Keo answered. "My wife and I are delighted to sample you this month's garnet display."
Kaylin and Rylie shook their heads and instead asked about the missing jewels. When Tokkori popped up and started luring female birds, Malie and Keo kicked them out because of a no-pet policy. "This is the second heavy duty we have this month," complained Malie.
"Relax, dear," Keo said to his wife. "I'll get your pain relief."
What Malie said made Kaylin and Rylie feel suspicious. After Rick helped the girls up, he grabbed Tokkori, "Hey, you fuzzy freak!" he shouted angrily. "How am I going to insult these hula babe birds?"
"Mate, I tried to tell you not to go in due to no pets allowed," Rick growled, "but you never listened."

At the Honolulu Police Department, the Klue Queens tried to convince the lead cop to look at the card, but he refused and said it was for police personal use only. SpongeBob and Patrick felt bad that they didn't get to take a glimpse at it. Observing a water tank, Patrick got an idea. "Kirby, suck it up!" he shouted.
With one gulp of the water tank, Kirby turned into Water Kirby. He made the police department flood like crazy. Tania remembered her aquatic safety and gave Kirby some Candy Peppermint Resucitation to calm him down. After the water went away, a soaked Helen found the card outside the evidence bag. "We better get the girls, fast," she suggested.

Back at The Heart of the Jewels, Malie and Keo were opening their secret jewel safe where they got out the Kamauoha Diamond. "Our scheme totally worked, darling," Keo sneared as he peck kissed his wife. "Sneaking into the museum at night and taking the diamond with your old locksmith gear was a great way to take the diamond."
"I know, darling," Malie replied. "Now we can win the New Year Diamondlution Contest tonight."
Before they got a chance to leave, the Klue Queens came in. "Dude and dudette," Paige interupted, "why not trying a little IMAGINATION!"
This weirded the couple out. They tried to escape, but Swinger and Tokorri tossed chocolate shaved ice at them. "CHOCOLATE!" Tokkori shouted. "Be sure to check your cholesterol, you crooks!"
Amongst the other nautical nonsense, Rylie stated gladly that she was big and proud, Kaylin defining "FUN" in song, Estrella scaring them with the Hash Slinging Slasher story, Leah and Issac taking them with hydro-dynamic spatulas with turbo drive. For the finale, Tania got out the Halloween cookies from before, told Kirby to,"suck it up," and turn him into Ghost Kirby.
This scared Malie and Keo so much, they barged out of their ship and acidentally breaking their new white sedan with the lights on. "We know about your diamond theft," Kaylin started.
"Our first clue was the address was the address for Hoku Street," Estrella continued. "The police couldn't get the whole thing cleared because it was covered in jewel polish."
"Then there was the flier for the Titanic," Kaylin explained. "The Kamauoha Diamond was discovered in December 1997, the same year James Cameron's "Titanic" came out. Thanks to having a brother who kept a prototype dress for the movie, I was able to learn more about the movie."
"And let's not forget where you two kicked us out," Rylie growled. "You said that this was the second heavy duty you had this month, meaning that the first one already happened."
"Looks like you won't be getting any bread now," Paige declared. "We gotta cut out before we get in trouble."

Later that night, everyone at Kalili Kravings was celebrating New Year's Eve. Hu'Eu was coming out in an elaborate green Hawaiian dress and saw that everything was order and that Colson was doing a good job organizing a party while controlling SpongeBob and Patrick at the same time.
"Now that Malie and Keo are in jail," Hu'Eu smiled, "a couple of college graduates I know would be happy to take over."
"Hey everyone!" shouted SpongeBob. "It's almost time for the new year!"
