IS 38.2

As Wyatt groggily awoke and saw he was in a private plane. He thought"Weird I must've zoned out coming on." Suddenly he remembered the lack of hassle of going through customs and thought "Wait a minute I don't even remember going to the airport."

He attempted to move his wrist but realized his wrist were bound to a chair.Outside of his sight of view he heard Autumn's voice says "Look who's finally awake."

Wyatt started to think "Fuck how did I get kidnapped, okay last thing I remember was doing some sight seeing and then a car from the research center picking me up."

Autumn says "What cat got your tongue? You're usually more vocal about this type of stuff."

Wyatt clears his throat and said "I'm sorry , how's about I start over. Hello Spider-bitch, may I have a ginger ale and some pretzels."

Autumn punches him in the forehead and shouts "While I was out chasing you, the rest of Phantom Task was captured by your little friends."

This got Wyatt to chuckle as he ask "So let me guess, you want to exchange me for your lover Squall don't you?"

Autumn says "You guess correctly, once we make the trade, me and her will disappear and make a life for ourselves."

Wyatt says "If you really think I'll let you get your way, then you're a bigger idiot than I thought ."

Autumn dangles Wyatt's watch in his face and says "You won't be able to do much without this on your wrist."

In a clear voice Wyatt says "Voice Command, project Hipparchus."

Suddenly from the watch , a robotic voice spoke " Voice Confirmed. Latitude -3 51' 8.21" S , Longitude: -32 25' 15.37" W."

Surprised at this Autumn ask "What the fuck did you just do?"

Wyatt chuckles and says "If I'm correct we should be near Brazil, I've heard it's lovely this time of year."

Autumn grabs him by the neck and shouts "Stop fucking around and tell me what the hell you just do?"

Wyatt says "My unit is pretty special in its own way, one special feature are special voice commands. The one I just did pinpointed our location and sent it to Dr. Maxwell."

This angered her as Autumn says "Shit , someone tape his mouth before he does anything else."

One of the female guards went over and taped Wyatt's mouth shuts as Autumn took on the other side of the plane.

Autumn thought "Shit , there won't be enough time to make the deal now. What would Autumn do?"

The pilot says "We will be landing shortly, and on our way to the safe house."

Autumn groans and says "Alright, looks like we're going skip some steps of our plan. We're going straight to our demands."

Right as the plane landed , one of the guards secured Wyatt's hands before taking him out of his chair as the small crew, made their way out of the plane into a van.

Autumn shouts to the driver " Hurry , we can't stay here for any longer than we have to. For all we know this place will be swarming with police any minute."

The car immediately took off as Wyatt thought "Alright I just need to hold on for a day or two until reinforcements arrive."

After about an hour on the road , the van stopped as Wyatt felt a gun at the back of his head, the guard says "Get up and no funny movements."

Wyatt did what he was told and followed the direction he was getting shoved to. He was pushed into a prison cell as he heard Autumn say "Don't expect having a chocolate under your pillow."

Wyatt snarlingly replies "But isn't that the best part of vacation."

Autumn kicks Wyatt into the wall as she points to a guard and says "Make sure he doesn't try any funny business."

Right as she left Wyatt thought "She's definitely losing her temper, now she'll definitely make mistakes."

About an hour or two afterwards he was dragged out of his cell as Autumn strapped him to a chair.

He saw a physician come in with a needle as Autumn says "We'll be taking a couple of blood samples."

Wyatt spits on Autumn's cheek as the woman slapped him. Autumn shouts "Stop messing around you little shit."

The physician takes needle and injects it into the American as Wyatt started to lose consciousness.

Groggily Wyatt ask "What the hell was inside that syringe."

Autumn chuckles and says "Something to knock you out, it would be a pain dealing with you during the process."

Wyatt's vision went black as the last thing he recalled was the sound of Autumn's wicked laughter.

Throughout the procedure, Wyatt would drift in and out of consciousness. He saw a bright light, several tubes siphoning the blood from his body and the smirk of the mysterious doctor.

After the procedure was done, he was bandaged up and given a meal consisting of rice, beans and fish.

Wyatt refused to eat as one of the guard says "Come on , eat the food you pissant."

He turned his head away and says "I won't eat anything unless I have one of you test taste it, you could poison me."

The guard grabbed Wyatt and shoved a spoon full of food into his mouth.

Wyatt coughs up a bit of the food as more of the meal was forced down his throat until there was nothing left on his plate.

He was thrown back into a cell as he threw up half of the food. He thought "Damn it, how long am I going to deal with this?"

Soon days passed as while the boy waited , Wyatt looks towards the guard and ask "So what got someone like you to join Phantom Task?"

The guard says "The normal reasons, I was recruited because I have certain skills."

Wyatt grins and says "Let me guess having relationship troubles, no it seems different. Maybe instead of doing this , you wished to be something else. Possibly a pastry chef."

Surprised at how accurate the boy was the guard says "Okay Mr. First Year Psychology, tell me what gave you that idea?"

Wyatt grin widened as he explains " For each guard change comes a meal, and whenever you're switched in the dessert taste surprisingly good for prisoner food. Almost as if it was made by someone with experience."

Before the guard could react and explosion could be heard from down the hall.

The guard shouts "Don't move." As she disappeared from sight to check out what happened.

Only a few minutes later , Ichika appeared in his IS and says "It's okay buddy, you're safe."

Shocked at the sight of his roommate, tears flew from Wyatt's eyes. he stood up and said "It's good to see you again."

Ichika tore the cell bars open as he carried Wyatt out of the building. Along the way for the first time in a while , Wyatt could relax with a nice nap.

After a couple hours , Wyatt woke up and saw once again he was on a plane , but unlike last time he was on an operating table and his wounds were treated along with cleaned bandages.

Wyatt stood up and as he walked to the passenger part of the plane , he saw Dr. Maxwell, Tatenashi, and Ichika sitting down.

Dr. Maxwell says "Nice to see you awake kid, now do you mind unlocking your IS."

He passed the Jade Jupiter watch to Wyatt as the American slipped it onto his wrist. After clearing his voice Wyatt says "Voice Command unlock, 83-56-85."

A green light shined from the unit as a robotic voice states "Voice Confirmed, Unit unlock."

Tatenashi says "Makes sense that Kaitlynn's measurements would be the passcode."

Dr. Maxwell attempts to strangle Wyatt but Ichika puts himself between the two American.

Ichika says "Calm down doctor, he just recovered."

Dr. Maxwell sighed as he says "Alright , but really kid, you used your girl's measurements?"

Wyatt says "Hey you put me in charge of the code and told me to make it something discreet."

As Wyatt took a seat , Tatenashi handed him a hamburger and says "It's not the best but it's probably going to taste better than what you had for the past couple days."

Immediately he took a bite as he thought "Yeah it really does taste like it came from a five star restaurant rather an airport Burger King."

Dr. Maxwell ask "So what was the last thing you remembered before getting knocked out?"

Wyatt thinks back and replies " It happened a little bit after I completed my mission from the principal. I got into a car that was said to come from the government. After that it's all a blur."

Tatenashi says "Chances are they replaced the drivers and knocked you out there. What exactly did they do to you."

After swallowing another bite of his burger , Wyatt said "I think they took a good amount of my blood, I'm not sure for what reason because they drugged me before the process."

Ichika says "Well what really matters is that you're safe and we can all go back to the academy."

Wyatt says "Speaking of which , I was told Phantom task was gotten rid of , is that true?"

Tatenashi says "Yeah we managed to track them and Tabane down the day after you left and staged a raid. We managed to capture them all minus Autumn."

Wyatt says "Well at least you managed to get her today."

Tatenashi responds "Sadly that wasn't the case, it seemed she was long gone before we rescued you."

Dr. Maxwell says "But there is more good news, we've managed to get data from Tabane's lab and learned the secret to the cores."

Completely shocked Wyatt says "That's pretty amazing doc, so that means our quest is finally over, isn't."

The doctor smirks as he says " Nope, in fact it just begun. I mean we have three male freshmen coming in two months from now , they're going to need units."

Wyatt says "Okay so I guess everyone else knows about my mission then."

Tatenashi says "Only the people back from your initial meeting and those on the plane knows. Everyone else is out of the loop. By the way there's also another piece of information you should know. Madoka is going to be attending the academy next semester."

After several moments to collect his thoughts, Wyatt says "Okay , chances are Ichika found a way to convince her to change sides and become a family again. I can understand that."

Ichika says "After we defeated Phantom Task, we got to talk and I realized she only acted that way because she was alone."

Wyatt says "Yeah you were always the type who can see the best in a person. Just makes sure she learns how to play along with others."

Ichika chuckles and says "I'm glad you're finally wearing those glasses I gave you for Christmas."

Wyatt says "I decided to wear them in your memory, plus it makes me look smarter."

Dr. Maxwell says "You know with those glasses you kinda of remind me of myself when I was your age."

Immediately after hearing this, Wyatt took off the glasses and said "And that's the last time I'm ever wearing these again."

The pilot says "Passengers please be seated ,we're about to make a landing in John F. Kennedy International Airport."

Confused Wyatt say "Wait , why are we landing in New York when our destination is Japan."

Dr. Maxwell says "Like I said before, I'm going to be pretty busy making units for those three freshmen you've recruited. So I'm taking a leave of absence."

Tatenashi adds "Plus the plane also need to refuel for the long journey back to the academy."

As the plane landed at the airport, Dr. Maxwell says "You know kid, it's going to be pretty hectic for me these next couple of month."

Wyatt says "Yeah building three units from scratch will definitely be a huge task for the two of us."

Confused Ichika asked "What do you mean the two of you?"

Tatenashi adds "Yeah we're supposed to go back to the academy together."

Wyatt says "Look I'm going to be honest with you two. I don't think I can go back to the academy after everything that's happened, especially how I am now."

Tatenashi says "Okay we get that you need to recover but we just got you and Ichika back."

Dr. Maxwell says "Look kid, you don't need to do this. I can get loads of assistants for this project."

Wyatt smirks "True but how many people can deal with your nonsense. Besides to make an IS from the ground up seems like an awesome adventure."

Ichika says "You've already missed a lot of school work, adding another two month isn't going to be good."

Dr.Maxwell mentions "True but I can make this as a work study, plus this idiot learns better hands on rather than in a classroom."

The four get off the plane onto the runway. Ichika asks "So what about our rematch? What are you even going to tell Kaitlynn?"

Wyatt places his hand on his roommate's shoulder "Trust me buddy I'm already screwed as it is, I haven't responded to a her text or phone calls for weeks. As for our tiebreaker, it will occur during our second year."

A car arrived for the doctor as Wyatt says "Don't worry I'll be back in 2 months, it will fly by like it's nothing."

Tatenashi hugs Wyatt and says "Just don't do anything stupid little bro."

Wyatt returns the hug and replies "Don't worry sis, I'll be good. Besides taking on impossible challenges... that's what they call a real adventure!"

The two Americans enter the car as Wyatt waves goodbye to the two until the car drives out of sight.

Dr. Maxwell says "Glad to have you on board kid. Now to give you the real bad news. In order for us to save time, we'll be dismantling the Jade Jupiter for data."

Shocked at this comment, Wyatt says "Come on doc you can't be serious, the Jade Jupiter helped me through so many battles, besides what unit am I going to use."

Dr. Maxwell takes out his labtop and shows the teen schematic for a new unit. The doctor says "As you know the Jade Jupiter is really just a research type that I managed to upgrade for combat abilities. I was surprised you managed to get it to its second shift. But this right here is the unit you deserve."

Wyatt eyes looked in wonder at the specs of this new project as he says "Looks like all that data collection payed off."

Dr. Maxwell says "Yeah it's been in development back in America, but I feel we can get it finished in time."

Wyatt sighs and responds "Well then , let's get to work."

Okay so the next couple of chapters are going to be weird as , Wyatt is essentially going to be absent for awhile. He might be heard from a phone call here or there but essentially he won't be in the main setting for a while.
