RAW is WAR: 29/3/1999
The RAW is WAR after WrestleMania 15 was live at the Continental Airlines Arena in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The segment where Ken Shamrock found Stephnaie McMahon had passed, the daughter of Vince had the Undertaker's TX symbol on her forehead and a look of terror from whatever the Undertaker had planned for her. But now it was time for the next match which was for the World Tag Team Championships.
OOOOOOWHOOOOOO!
Jim Johnston's Dark Side plays as Fire explodes on the stage and the lights change to dark red and dark blue as the Bladewolf and Kane walk out, getting a loud pop from the fans. They had their WWF World Tag Team Championships on their right shoulders
"The following tag team contest is scheduled for one-fall and it is for the World Wrestling Federation Tag Team Championships!" Tony Chimel announced. "Introducing first, at a combined weight of 636 lbs, they are the World Wrestling Federation World Tag Team Champions...THE BROTHERS OF DESTRUCTION!"
"Last night these two retained their World Tag Team Titles and tonight they face another team in the Legion of Doom." Michael Cole stated. "Bladewolf and Kane are one formidable team, King, they've beaten many tag teams on Sunday Night Heat these past few weeks but tonight on RAW they face the Legion of Doom."
Bladewolf and Kane enter the ring, Kane raising his arms and throwing them down to summon fire from the turnbuckles while Bladewolf takes off his trench coat and dumps it outside the ring. The two brothers stare at the stage as Bladewolf's theme dies down.
The Legion of Doom's theme plays and out comes Animal and Hawk. "And their opponents. From Chicago, Illinois, at a combined weight of 575 lbs, Road Warrior Animal and Hawk...THE LEGION OF DOOM!"
The Road Warriors advance to the ring and roll in, stepping on the second rope and stick out their tongues before removing their spiked vests. Their theme dies down as the LOD face the Brothers of Destruction.
'Ding! Ding! Ding!'
Kane decides to start off with Hawk while their respective partners get out onto the ring apron. The two men into a collar and elbow tie up but Kane uses his strength to send Hawk to the ropes and nails him with a big boot followed by a running elbow drop. Kane picks Hawk up and goes for an Irish whip but Kane reverses it and catches Kane in a powerslam before going for the cover but the Big Red Monster kicks out.
"Kick out at two by Kane." Cole said before the camera caught a shot of Bladewolf watching intently. "Those demonic eyes of Bladewolf watching very closely. He knows the Legion of Doom are not to be underestimated."
Hawk throws rights at Kane that barely faze the Big Red Machine as he nails a nasty uppercut that floors Hawk. Kane grabs Hawk, brings him over, and tags in Bladewolf who comes in and nails Hawk with a boot to the ribs while Kane gets out onto the ring apron. Bladewolf stomps away on Hawk until the referee tells him off, gettinga dark glare from the Demon Wolf who brings Hawk into the middle of the ring then nails a leg drop.
"Boom! What a leg drop!" Jerry said.
"Indeed, King." Cole nods in agreement.
Bladewolf goes for the cover but Hawk kicks out at two. Bladewolf hammers away at Hawk's forehead a few times before relenting and stands up. He heads to the top rope and waits, watching as Hawk gets to his feet.
"Uh oh, this cannot be good..." Cole said.
Hawk turns around and Bladewolf jumps off...AND NAILS A FLYING CLOTHESLINE RIGHT OFF THE TOP ROPE!
"What a flying clothesline!" Jerry exclaims.
"Got that right, King." Cole said. "Bladewolf went flying!"
Bladewolf gets to his feet, flipping his hair back before he grabs Hawk and pulls him to his feet when Hawk headbutts Bladewolf in the chin and tackles him into the corner where Hawk unloads with a fury of rights to the masked face of Bladewolf. Bladewolf covers up before booting Hawk in the chest and pushe shim back before grabbing him and nails a DDT in the middle of the ring.
"What a DDT." Cole said.
Bladewolf hooks Hawk's legs but Hawk kicks out at two. Bladewolf gets to his feet, picks Hawk right up with both hands before running and drives Hawk into his corner before tagging in Kane. Kane comes in and the two brothers stomp away on Hawk before Bladewolf gets out onto the ring apron while Kane pulls Hawk in and nails a hard clothesline, going for the cover but Hawk kicks out once more.
Kane picks Hawk up and Irish whips him into the corner. Kane fixes his glove before running for a turnbuckle clothesline only for Hawk to quickly move out the way, causing Kane to hit the turnbuckle hard. Hawk nails a DDT on Kane, and takes the chance to tag in Animal.
"And here comes Animal!" Cole said. "Hawk has been isolated thus far but now he has tagged in his fresh partner."
Kane sits up just as Animal comes over and hooks the arm for a suplex. He tries to lift the Big Red Machine but Kane's weight and height proves to be a disadvantage for Animal as Kane reverses and hits Animal with a suplex of his own. Kane stomps away on Animal multiple times before rebounding off the ropes and nails a running elbow drop.
He grabs Animal, scoops him up and nails a backbreaker. He goes for the cover but Animal kicks out at two. Kane drags Animal to his partner's corner and tags in Bladewolf who comes in and picks Animal up while Kane gets out onto the apron. Bladewolf lifts Animal onto his shoulder before nailing a running powerslam! He goes for the cover but Animal kicks out at two once more.
Bladewolf gets to his feet and raises his right arm, looking for a Chokeslam when suddenly he's struck from behind by Jeff Jarrett, a blow that doesn't faze Bladewolf as the referee calls for the bell.
'Ding! Ding! Ding!'
Bladeowlf whirls around and nails Jarrett with an uppercut. Jarrett stumbles to his feet and turns around only to be grabbed by the throat by both Bladewolf and Kane who lift him up...AND DRILL HIM INTO THE MAT WITH A DOUBLE CHOKESLAM!
"A Double Chokeslam to Jeff Jarrett by Kane and the Bladewolf!" Cole exclaims.
"Ah!" Jerry sounded.
Bladewolf and Kane win the match by DQ and retain their titles but they were angry the match went like this. Bladeowlf grabs Jarrett and hoists him onto his shoulder while Kane goes up to the top rope before he leaps off...AND THEY HIT A SPIKE TOMBSTONE PILEDRIVER!
"The winners of this match by Disqualification and STILL WWF World Tag Team Champions...THE BLADEWOLF AND KANE!" Tony Chimel announced.
Dark Side plays as the two brothers grab their titles and leave the ring, heading up the ramp as Owen Hart tends to his partner...
And that's the RAW after WrestleMania 15 done. I hope you enjoyed the match. That was as close to as a Brothers of Destruction vs Road Warriors match as I could do. I mean, the Legion of Doom and the Road Warriors are the same guys, right?
