Prompt #39: Chocolate. Rating: K
"Vhat a lovely day!" said Zigfried, smiling as he and Critias walked through the park. Critias nodded, looking around. The park was quite full today, from families having picnics to people walking their dogs to even some people jogging. Even with all the people around, the park was big enough that nobody was interrupting the others around them. Critias smiled, then stopped as Zigfried tugs on his arm.
"Critias, zhere's a chocolate shop over zhere!" said the German, smiling giddily as he pointed. Looking over, the blonde saw that there was, in fact, a chocolate shop across the street from the park. "Do you want to go over there and take a look?" asked Critias, smiling. After earning a nod from his boyfriend, Critias nodded and lead the way over to the shop, making sure to look both ways before crossing the street.
A small bell chimed as they entered the shop, the two looking around. The shop wasn't very big, but it was big enough to where it felt like a proper shop. The walls were painted a light minty green with brown trim on the floors, corners and glass cases. Inside the cases and on the shelves were all kinds of candy and chocolates. Zigfried looked around in awe, taking in as much of the shop as he could. He smiled and dragged Critias over to the shelves.
"Zhey have Dominostein*!" the German said happily, grabbing a box wrapped in red paper off of the shelf. Critias smiled, knowing how happy it made Zigfried to see the shop selling a German sweet. "Would you like to buy it?" he asked, chuckling as he saw the look in his boyfriend's eyes. "you mean it!?" asked Zigfried, grinning. Critias nodded. "Of course! We could also probably pick up something for Leon…." he suggested, smiling.
Zigfried nodded and they grabbed a couple bag of jellybeans, another box of chocolates, and some chocolate coins. They then walked up to the counter and paid for the candy. As they left Zigfried opened the box of Dominostein and took one out the candies out, popping it into his mouth and happily eating it. "Vould you like to try one liebe?" he asked, picking up another one. "Sure…" said Critias, nodding. Zigfried smiled and popped the treat into the knight's mouth, watching as Critias ate it. Critias smiled. "It tastes good.." he said as he and Zigfried began walking, heading home for the day.
