Re-read again! I suck, I know! Funny story, I actually had this entire chapter written while having another chapter that was in the midst of being written, open. My vision was getting blurry, so I knew I had to save all that I had written before going over it in the morning to correct any mistakes. However, in all of that, I ended up copying the other chapter instead of this one! (It's habit... don't ask) So now I get to rewrite it ALL over again! I just hope that I can get all of the details as close to the original chapter.
As always,
Enjoy!

Chapter 39: Take None Down And Pass It Around
What had she just seen!? What in the HELL had she just been forced to see!? Coming to a rather slow stop, the pinkette's eyes dulled as she chuckled softly. It didn't matter any longer as to what she had or hadn't just witnessed - and that's all that mattered at this point. Walking up to her family home, Sakura then entered and called out softly, "Mom, dad, grandpa, Naruto? I'm home." Kushina and Jiraya were quick to pop their heads out of the kitchen, only for the newly revived grandfather to chuckle, "That's a new hairstyle, Sakura!" Kushina's face drained of all color before exploding like a damned volcano, "SAKURA NAMIKAZE UCHIHA!"
Stiffening up and leaning back, Sakura took a gentle step back while answering softly, "Y-Yeah mom...?" This mother figure was NOT going to hear any excuses at this point in time, no, she demanded an answer right then and there, "WHAT IN THE HELL HAVE YOU DONE TO YOUR HAIR!? IT'S SO SHORT NOW, YA KNOW!?" Slowly reaching up and touching her shortened locks, that's when she truly realized as to how short her hair actually was, "O-Oh... it was a stupid accident on my part, ya know...?" About to yell again, Kushina then felt the gentle hand belonging to Jiraya upon her shoulder, "Kushina, now probably isn't the best time..."
Turning away, the melancholy pink haired lass slightly lowered her head while slumping her shoulders ever so slightly, "I'm just going to go and rest until dinner time... okay?" Kushina knew her daughter was hurting and could even make a pretty spot on educated guess as to why she was even that way, making her nod her head slightly, "Yeah, sure. You look like you could use some rest. I'll have your brother wake you up when it's dinner time, okay?"
All she could do was nod towards her mother as she walked up the stairs. Reaching the top, Sakura did not go to her room - oh no, she needed him. Walking towards her brother's room, she then opened the door and entered before gently closing the door behind her. Sky blue orbs peered in her direction as she made her way towards him - only to lie down beside him and place her head in his lap. Naruto had learned early on to keep his mouth shut and resume as to what he had even been doing in the first place while his sister was like this, but he did begin to thread his fingers through her shortened pastel pink locks tenderly.
Feeling the warmth of his sister's tears through his clothed leg, Naruto then placed the magazine he had been reading down and snickered softly to not startle her, "This is kinda short for you, ya know?" Feeling her nod slightly as she gently clasped onto his leg slightly tighter, a gentle sigh was then released from his mouth, "Sakura, I can feel and understand you're hurting... but what did you expect? Did you honestly expect him to stay all alone, never to know when you are even going to return back to the village?" All too suddenly, their mother then hollered up, "NARUTO, SAKURA, YOUR FATHER IS HOME AND IT'S DINNER TIME, YA KNOW?!"
Standing up with her head lowered, she then heard her brother swing his legs over the frame of his bed and clasp his hands together tightly. With a shaky breath, the blonde then spoke softly, "I understand why he did it... but did he have to pick Hinata?" Hearing the pain filled tone her brother's voice now projected made the pinkette turn her head to face him. What she witnessed hurt her even further as she whispered out, "You loved her, didn't you...?"
Obviously not willing to answer, Naruto then stood up and took his sister's hand within his own. The two were extremely close now and found comfort in one another - so all they did was walk down to the dinner table together and sit down. The red head was about to shout up again, but found BOTH of her children at the table, "N-NARUTO!? I understand SAKURA coming at the first call, but she usually had to pulverize you to even make you come down to eat!" Jiraya then sighed heavily, "Kushina, I wouldn't push the matter any further. BESIDES, I get to see my two adorable grandchildren again!"
Dinner was silent, but Minato would glance up at his daughter's pain stricken face every so often. He knew what all of this was about, so he then chuckled softly, "Sakura? I know that you just came home to the village today, but we have just gained word that the Otsutsuki ruins that you placed a protective barrier around, you know, the ones in the snowy mountains? Well the barrier has been breached by two unknown individuals."
He knew his daughter was hurting... and he also knew that he held no answers for her problems. However, all though he might have no answers, he most definitely did hold a solution. As of late, Izuna had been complaining that his powers were greatly decreasing and were nowhere near the level of power that they currently should be at. Pressing his chin to the top of his propped up hand, Minato grinned, "So, I need you and Izuna to go and check it out. Do you mind dear?" All though she nodded, all she could possibly think was, 'Northern snowy mountains Otsutsuki ruins? A barrier? I've never been to this place, much less placed a barrier around it. Ah, so dad has a hunch...'
"MINATO! SAKURA HAS JUST COME HOME! LET OUR DAUGHTER RELAX, YA KNOW!?" The sharp tongued red head angrily barked out, making the Fourth Hokage chuckle softly and shrug, "I wish she could stay for a while, but those are important ruins. If they are damaged or destroyed by someone else, then we may lose valuable intel pertaining the Otsutsuki clan. Besides, only the Rinnegan can effectively decipher the scriptures, so she is the best choice."
Jiraya then folded his arms and nodded, "Yes, this seems troubling that someone holds enough power to even pass through one of Sakura's barriers. I mean, not even I could pass through one of her delightful barriers when she was a child." All of this chit-chat was fascinating and all; but the cold, harsh, and monotone voice of the pinkette then softly rang out, "Yeah, I'll go and check it out right away. However... I don't need Izuna there to distract me or slow me down." Minato could only internally blow his bangs upward at how hard headed his child was. So much for his solid plan of action.
Picking her plate up once finished, the pinkette then walked it to the sink and placed it inside before walking to her gloves and tugging them on. Waving to her family with an all too fake smile, all then stood and approached her. Kushina whispered softly, "You just come home... ya hear me...?" Minato was no different as he whispered, "Please stay safe..." Jiraya mimicked the two prior as he brought his granddaughter into his arms, "You're a tough little lady, but don't be reckless with your life..." Naruto, however, was not so silent as he yelled, "I LOVE YOU, SIS! SEE YA SOON, YA KNOW?!"
Waving after that many hugs, Sakura began to take graceful strides away while wearing clothing that was far too warm for the climate that she was currently in. Knowing that she was going somewhere cold, she was already dressed in the appropriate manner. Naruto then ran up to his pink haired sister and smiled softly, "Mom thought this might happen, so she packed a lunch for you."
Taking the lunch with a soft smile, emerald then stared into sky blue... feeling almost jealous that she did not have her father's or brother's sky blue orbs before replying softly, "Thank her for me. I have to go now." Taking the packed lunch, Sakura then placed it inside of one of her holsters before snapping it shut. The gate guards, Izumo and Kotetsu knew that Sakura had only arrived on this day and felt horrible that she was leaving so soon with barely little to no time to converse with her family. Both then waved at her sadly and spoke up, "Be safe out there..."
The moment the pinkette exited the gates and was about to create a portal, an all too familiar voice rang out, "When will you stop ignoring me? I do find it rather insulting, you know." Turning her head towards this brute of a man, Sakura released a gentle sigh, "I have to be on my way now, Madara. So, move."
Narrowing his orbs towards the short haired pinkette, he then took graceful, gentle, yet angered steps towards her so that he stood right in front of her with his arms folded, "TELL ME THE TRUTH! WAS I JUST SUPPOSED TO SIT AROUND AND WAIT FOR YOU TO RETURN, ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU JUST SHOW UP AT RANDOM!? DO NOT LIE TO ME!" Tears filled her emerald orbs as she stayed frozen in place, "YES! YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO WAIT FOR ME! WAS I NO LONGER WORTH WAITING FOR!? WAS I THAT MUCH OF AN INCONVENIENCE!? WAS I THAT MUCH OF A BURDEN!? YOU HAVE FOUND LOVE NOW, SO IT DOESN'T MATTER IF I'M HERE OR NOT!"
Izuna's eyes saddened from around a tree while whispering softly, "I will continue to wait for you until you can come home for good..." Sakura heard the comment and her eyes widened at the comment, "I-Izuna..." His face, filled with hurt as he revealed himself, the short haired pinkette then fumbled out, "B-But what about Hanabi?" Lowering his eyes, a gentle sigh was released, "She could never replace you, Sakura."
Walking out from the shadows with a saddened smile, he then wrapped his arms firmly around the pinkette, "Until my very dying breath, I will wait for you. What you do is admirable. Admitting your mistakes is no simple task to accomplish, no matter who you are; but wanting to atone for every single crime that has been committed on your part... that is truly befitting for a shinobi." Snapping Izuna around, the pinkette slammed her fist into the moody male and hurled him away before opening a portal, "Time for training, Izuna." His eyes began to sparkle at this and he hurriedly nodded as they both jumped into the portal, only for it to hastily close behind them.
"S-S-Sakura! It's f-f-freezing here," the Uchiha male's teeth chattered as he spoke. This only made Sakura chuckle softly as she began to peer around with her Rinnegan. Both of her orbs then narrowed, "Looks like dad's hunch wasn't wrong after all." Izuna then pressed tightly to the pinkette for warmth, making her lift a single brow, "Izuna, honestly? I guess that dad wasn't joking about all of your complaints. You are becoming way too weak. We fought Kaguya in one of her realms that just so happened to be filled with ice and it didn't even seem to phase you back then. Ah, well, come on."
Once the two walked up to the ancient structure, the blizzard had finally calmed down for snow to begin sadly drifting down upon the two as if the blizzard had never existed in the first place. Both peered around to search for any sort of danger or chakra signatures, only for both to nod that there was nothing present. Sakura then got to work on training the younger Uchiha brother for a year and a half straight.
Her hair, now the length it once was, finished a spar against Izuna and nodded happily, "Immune to the cold again, eyes are sharp and focused, movements are quick and fast paced. Looks like your time with me was not wasted." This only made Izuna slightly tilt his head, "What do you mean by that?" The pinkette then approached the slightly younger male and tapped below his eye, "Your eye is now just like mine. A Rinne-Sharingan. Izuna... you understand what that means, right?" Shifting his eyes away, he then released a soft sigh, "Yeah... I'm going to have to stay on the move like you."
Hearing Sakura's chipper laughter, he then shot his head up, "WHAT'S SO FUNNY!?" Placing her hands on her hips and smiling, she then frowned, "It means... you're on your own from this point forth." Lifting her finger, she then pressed on Izuna's chest so roughly that he stumbled through a portal that was hastily closed so that he could not jump back through. It also meant... she was once again - alone.
It took an entire YEAR for Sakura to record all of the scriptures that had been carved into the stone of the palace, making her give a lofty sigh and roll her shoulders, "Dammit all to hell... dad owes me big time. I lost a year and a half to train Izuna, plus another year to write all of THIS nonsense down. Majority of it... I can't actually read. The cipher core will have to analyze all of this gibberish so that we can actually read it." Turning and beginning to walk out of the castle, Sakura then turned her head to see a massive stone statue of Kaguya, making her give off an annoyed scoff. 'TCH!'
Beginning to walk away again, her body then froze and her eyes shot up to see two levitating individuals, 'Wonderful, some of Kaguya's family came to play!' Her sarcastic inner voice rang out as the smaller of the two began to talk, "Fascinating. I was under the impression that only my kind could enter this place, but apparently there is an exception for this one mortal. One moment - her chakra, it's abnormally strong. Kinshiki, retrieve this one to extract her chakra."
Narrowing her orbs, the massive floating one began his great descend to capture the pinkette, whom was now grasping the hilt of her blade. Activating her three tomoe patterned Sharingan, her eyes widened immensely, 'W-What!? How in the HELL is something THAT big so FAST!?' Lightning style quickly came to her aid the moment Kinshiki swooped down to capture the pinkette and missed by slamming into a wall. Darting through that broken wall through all of the dust and debris, Sakura began to hastily move, yet was being chased now.
The sounds of high pitched lightning could be heard as she watched this hulk of a man to reach out and grab her, only for her to force her body around so that her feet slammed into a massive pillar before darting to the ground and away the moment the one in pursuit slammed into that same pillar. Grinning, the pinkette could only think, 'Size is the only thing that he has on me, but he appears as dense as Asura and Naruto.'
Yanking her blade out at that point, her face slowly came into view for the glowing crimson of her Sharingan to pierce the darkness of night that now surrounded and engulfed around both fighting parties. Kinshiki's face then narrowed as he witnessed this eye and lightly scowled, 'The Sharingan...huh? It appears that I will have to take this fight much more seriously...' Good to know that he had been holding back. Even better, Sakura heard all of his thoughts and all though her face remained as composed as it once was when they started their little match, her fury shot off of the charts.
Within Madara's home, he suddenly grasped his scar in absolute pain and grit his teeth while thinking, 'I haven't felt this scar act up in YEARS! So, why has it chosen now of all times to do so!?' Hinata was quick to rush up to the moody male with the signs of worry clearly written all over her face, "Madara, are you all right!?" Nodding his head slightly as the pain faded, he then glanced up, "Yes, I suppose that I shall be fine. Thank you for worrying."
Sakura watched as this alien - thing... as he reached back with his free hand, only for another weapon to appear, 'Not good...' Peering her single crimson orb back ever so slightly, she found an opening and darted back. Leaving one's back wide open was a risky gamble, but her sensory skills were hastily put into play as he reached a single arm out to cut the pinkette down, only for her to hastily snap around and block his attack. Both then vanished again and once they both landed, Sakura flickered above him and he was hastily placed on defense as her sword rained down from the heavens.
Angered at this notion, he then created multiple blades as Sakura hung from the ceiling while smirking at him deviously. This only proved to piss him off further as he hurled those blades at her and she hastily began to flicker away to a new location each time. With no more blades to throw, Kinshiki rushed her with impeccable agility and all she could do was cross her arms in front of her body to shield the attack as he hurled his fist down to fling the pinkette far from the castle in the process. Now she was thankful that she had written everything down and stored the knowledge safely within one of her holsters.
The smaller male that almost looked like a bride in the pinkette's eye, watched this mortal woman with fascination while thinking rather loud and indecent thoughts, 'She may be a mortal woman, but she would be the perfect choice to bare my children and be wed to me. What greater honor could you honestly bestow on a mere mortal? Marrying one from the Otsutsuki clan and birthing healthy children for the one she has married is not a simple task for one as lowly as her to even achieve in the first place. I will witness as to how long she can withstand Kinshiki's attacks...'
Standing up, Sakura turned bright red at the thoughts that she had just heard. However, now was not the time or place to become so distracted that she could not defend herself. With her lazy fared expression put back into play, her single crimson orb narrowed in focus as the brute of a male darted straight towards her. The two on the ground were now dancing with their blades, completely synchronized at this point in an intricate battle of wit, skill, and experience.
The clash of blades continued as Sakura then added in footwork into their little "recital" and slammed her foot into Kinshiki's head, only to be pushed away and have her eyes widen slightly the moment this alien's lightning followed her the moment she crashed into a boulder. Blocking the lightning, she was then slammed straight through it and a bit of that lightning grazed her scar. Scowling at the fact that this... thing... had the audacity to even go NEAR her scar that had been earned through a battle filled with too many emotions that, to this day, she still had trouble comprehending as to what had actually transpired between the two who had even participated.
The moment that lightning style grazed and reopened the pinkette's scar, Madara fell to his knees while grasping his side that was now also bleeding. A child that looked a lot like Madara then rushed up to his father and gained concerned eyes, "DAD, WHAT JUST HAPPENED!? YOU'RE BLEEDING!" Gritting his teeth harshly and forgetting to breath, the mini-Madara began to roughly pound on his father's back, making him cough harshly and giving a soft reply, "R-Ryoku... do not concern yourself with me..."
Tilting his head in confusion, Ryoku then quired to his father, "What do you mean by that dad?" The reason this child was as old as he was, was due to Madara and Hinata having intercourse during the pinkette's lengthy six year vanishing act, but was now the age of nine due to her two and a half year extension. Looking up to his son that he wished would have been given to him by Sakura, he then softly spoke, "S-Sakura... has been injured..."
This made Ryoku fully puzzled, "Wait, dad, you don't mean the Fourth Hokage's daughter... Sakura Namikaze Uchiha, do you!?" Snickering softly as sweat beaded down his face, he then nodded, "B-Before I married your mother... I was deeply in love with her. I would have done anything to bring her back home to the village. However, those were merely the foolish thoughts of a love sick child and now the two of us are forever connected through this scar. Anytime she is angry, I become angry... anytime she is sad, I become sad... happiness, spite, fear, and love are no different. So, it has to be mentioned that when she is physically harmed, I am as well."
Sakura was becoming so freaking agitated at this point that she almost lost focus the moment she slammed through that boulder and flipped to land on her feet, only to shoot her head up and dart backwards with the use of her adorable light pink lightning style - yet became pinned against another boulder by one hell of a massive physique.
Pinned now, Kinshiki's blades were becoming dangerously close to her body until she forced his arms up and slid around him, only for him to flip around to meet her blade. Raising her snake sword high above her head, Sakura slammed it down and sliced off a good sized chunk of his... bone headband? I guess. Fuck if she knew. However, it did make Kinshiki grunt in pain. The more she studied this reaction, the more her eyes widened in slight shock due to the fact that this did seem familiar in the sense of the past Madara that had become an alien himself.
The oh-so dignified levitating "bride" above had his thoughts running a mile per-minute, which was becoming a quite problematic situation considering the fact that she was currently in an all out brawl to the DEATH. In other words... the distraction was not welcome. All of this internal chit-chat was making her unfocused and had her senses slightly dulling, but thanked the heavens that she had the Sharingan at this point.
Watching her blade become trapped as he swung his weapon down towards her, Sakura's eyes widened immensely and hastily dodged the blow by slipping under his bulky arm. Panting softly at that close shave, the pinkette then tore her Uchiha cloak off and left her breasts only concealed by her black tube top that held the Uchiha crest on the back. The one not entering the battle folded his arms and grinned slightly, 'I only need to see a bit more from her. I need to witness if she can render Kinshiki useless. All though he can merely create more weapons, that will be enough to let me know my ultimate choice about this little mortal.'
"WILL YOU SHUT UP ALREADY!?" The furious pinkette roared as she knocked one of Kinshiki's weapons from his hands and slammed her leg against the massive male's body to hurl him away. One who is to be sent away should be sent off with a gift, no? Watching the blade she had knocked away as if it were in slow motion, Sakura gracefully performed a side flip to ram her foot into the hilt of the blade to redirected the weapon that had been lost, right back to its owner.
Back to clashing their blades together, the graceful and powerful woman then peered slightly towards his blade before pushing so hard that her blade locked into a single hole of his and she gave an even greater push so that it slammed into the ground. Raising her foot, Sakura then rammed it into his hand and the hilt of her blade so that both were now stuck in the ground. Snapping her furious crimson orbs towards the assailant, the pinkette then grasped his shoulders and pressed off of the ground harshly to flip onto his shoulders before twirling out a kunai and taking firm hold of it.
Just as she went to plunge it into Kinshiki's neck, her hips were tightly grasped - only to be roughly hurled to the ground. Coughing slightly, she peered up with panicked orbs due to seeing a massive fist coming towards her skull, only for Sakura to hastily roll a good and safe distance away as his fist came crashing to the ground and split a part the earth she had just been on moments prior. I dunno, having one's skull smashed just didn't seem like a very befitting way for a shinobi to die... and she definitely didn't WANT to die in that manner. Who would...?
The oh-so dignified one then released a darkened chuckle before speaking, "Kinshiki, I have changed my mind. This one is rather feisty and seems to be much fun. She is not to become a sacrifice... she is to become my wife and bare me with many children." He merely gave a nod of his head that he understood that she was no longer to be killed... or sacrificed?
The moment he chuckled darkly again, the pinkette peered up to the one who was only levitating while she caught a breather as he spoke, "It shouldn't be too hard to capture her now, does it? She wields no weapon and can easily be taken by force." Kinshiki nodded and morphed his weapon into a battle axe, knowing that this one was a rather nimble and quick one. Still catching her breath, Kinshiki was in front of her eyes before she was even able to grasp as to what in the FUCK was happening now. The moment he swung his blade, all she could scream in her mind was one thing... 'MADARA!'
Madara had heard this while in his home and all that he had been holding came crashing to the floor. She was in danger, but he was married now. Biting his bottom lip roughly until blood began to trickle down his chin, he slowly felt that fear vanish and he opened his eyes. Good grief, today was full of far too many surprises for his liking. Wiping the blood from his lip and chin, he picked up all of his dropped belongings and continued on with his day.
Watching the pinkette getting sliced in half, the oh-so dignified one then yelled out angrily, "I DID NOT ORDER YOU TO KILL HER, KINSHIKI!" Both then rubbed at their eyes to see Sakura had switched places with a stone statue, making the dignified "bride" grin, "Oh...? The Rinnegan..." - 'That seals it for me. She is PERFECT... for a mortal...' Sakura then gained a dry expression from that comment, only making the make who was levitating, lower to the ground as the wind began to flurry her bangs from her face to reveal as to what had been hidden.
"YOU DO UNDERSTAND THAT I COULD HAVE BEEN KILLED BECAUSE OF YOU, YA KNOW!? I CAN HEAR ALL OF YOUR INDECENT THOUGHTS! SHEESH, YOU'RE WORSE THAN MY GRANDFATHER AND MY BROTHER! YOU'VE GOT SOME NERVE!" Smirking darkly at her, he then spoke in a far too cocky tone, "My name is Momoshiki. Might I have the pleasure of knowing your name? You will not be sacrificed due to you becoming my wi-... one moment, did you just claim that you could hear thoughts!?" Sighing heavily, she then nodded, "I WOULDN'T LIE ABOUT THAT, YA KNOW!?" Grumbling momentarily, she then sighed, "My name is Sakura Namikaze Uchiha."
In the blink of an eye, she retrieved her blade and resheathed it while grumbling, "It's been a treat battling and speaking with you, I guess. However, now it's time that I take my leave." At that moment, she then pulled her cloak back on and opened a portal to the gates of Konoha. With that completed, the pinkette then jumped through and hastily closed the entrance off so that they could not follow her. She had a pretty good idea what they were after now, other than her.
Appearing at the front gate with her cloak slightly ripped on the side, while her scar from a battle long since passed continued to bleed; Izumo and Kotetsu sharply gasped and rushed towards her before helping her stand. Their worried tones then rang out in unison, "Sakura!? Are you okay!?" Slightly nodding her head and cringing in pain, she then evened her breathing to calm her nerves as Kotetsu took her right handed glove off and placed the sun symbol against her before yanking her glove back on.
With her body now healed, she then stood and held up a hand, "Thanks Izumo and Kotetsu! I'll be sure to repay your kindness as soon as I can!" Both blinked rapidly and waved in return. Standing, Izumo snickered softly, "Hey, Kotetsu?" - "Hm...?" - "Maybe you can now ask Sakura out on a date!" Izumo teased, making Kotetsu blush furiously, "H-HEY! WHAT'S THAT SUPPOSED TO MEAN!?" Once seated, Izumo chuckled softly, "Dude, everyone knows you like her." Peering down now, Kotetsu then softly smiled, "But as long as Madara and Izuna are around... I'll never stand a chance..."
Sakura walked slowly and peered down before abruptly shaking her head, "Right! Izuna's house comes first!" Jogging to the house, she heard giggling from inside and pulled out Izuna's key just to embarrass the hell out of him. Unlocking the door and walking in, she witnessed him and Hanabi; it was honestly a no brainer. Silently snickering and placing a hand on her hip, she pulled a Shisui the moment she held her opposing hand up and called out in a chipper tone, "Yo!"
Izuna shot up with widened eyes, attempting to formulate some sort of sentence at that moment. Chuckling, she then picked up the long haired raven's cloak before tossing it to him, "Need ya at the Hokage's office. Hanabi, you'd better treasure him. If I find out that you have EVER mistreated him... don't mistake that you WILL die." Watching this girl's face become paler than a ghost was priceless, so the pinkette giggled, "I'm merely kidding Hanabi! Calm down!" Izuna then walked up to Sakura and lightly whacked her upside the head, "Come on, let's go get the parade of people you need." Waving to Hanabi, Sakura couldn't help but give the Hyuga lass a light glare as Izuna took her hand.
"Sakura, why did you scare Hanabi?" Izuna angrily spoke as his hand tightened to the point where she had to pull her hand out of his and tenderly rub at it as she softly spoke, "It's because I'm jealous of her..." This made Izuna slowly stop and turn towards the pinkette before approaching her and leaning down to kiss her forehead, "Jealous, huh? Why would you be jealous?"
As Izuna turned and began walking, Sakura slowly reached for his hand... yet allowed it to drop in a defeated manner as her head dropped, "Because... she has you..." This made Izuna's onyx orbs widen immensely, yet they softened as he turned and brought the precious pinkette into his muscular hold, "Sakura, you'll always hold my heart and Hanabi knows that. Now, come here." She was already in his arms, so how in the hell could she do that? Looking up, Izuna swooped in and pressed his lips to her own. Izuna had always had a very sweet and delicate flavor. She found that out on accident when she became clumsy for a year and constantly tripped on top of him.
Pulling away, he then tauntingly licked his lips before snickering softly, "Thanks sensei..." Blushing deeply now, Sakura then cleared her throat and dashed her head away, "R-Right! You go and get Asura, Naruto, and Indra. I need to face reality with my own eyes and accept the truth." He could understand that and he had always admired as to how strong her will and conviction was. Nodding, he then sighed heavily, "There's no point in arguing with you of all people."
Once Izuna darted off, Sakura walked towards Madara's home, only to hear a LOT of yelling coming from the mouth of a child that was clearly within the home, "NO DAD! I DON'T WANT TO EVEN BE A NINJA! NINJA'S ARE SO UNCOOL IT'S NOT EVEN FUNNY! BESIDES, LORD FOURTH TOLD ME THAT THE STRONGEST NINJA ALIVE IS HIS DAUGHTER, SAKURA NAMIKAZE UCHIHA! WHY WOULD I WANT TO LEARN ANYTHING FROM YOU!?" This only made the pinkette softly chuckle as she then had the courage to knock on the door.
Hinata opened the door holding a brightened smile, "Sakura! I didn't know you were back in the village!" Right at that moment, a young man of the age of nine ran up to witness Sakura in all her glory standing there. She never meant to bewitch people, however... it came with the territory of being an Uchiha. Peering back to Hinata, Sakura folded her arms and spoke evenly, "Tell Madara there is an urgent meeting that he MUST attend. We will all be in the Hokage's office. Please relay that quickly and have a good night." Turning, she then left and almost instantly became agitated at the fact that she was now being followed.
Feeling the rush of air and the sound of a fist coming towards her, the pinkette sighed heavily and turned around with her eyes closed as she stopped a punch coming from the same child. His eyes glistened and sparkled joyously at this point, "WHOA, SO COOL! YOU HAVE TO BE LORD FOURTH'S DAUGHTER, SAKURA!" Setting the child down gently and crouching to him with a smile as she ran her fingers through his short forest of black and blue thorns.
Chuckling softly, she then nodded, "Yes, I am Sakura. Might I know the name of the handsome young man that I am speaking to?" This comment made him blush furiously at the given compliment before nodding, "My name is Ryoku." Tracing her finger under his chin, the pinkette then leaned forward and pressed her lips to this child's forehead, "You have a good and strong name. It's probably as strong as your father." - "No way. My dad is weak." Ryoku huffed and pouted, making the pinkette smile softly, "I wouldn't say that he is weak at all. Why would you call the only person that was hard headed enough to actually succeed at bringing me home, weak?"
That gave Ryoku an extremely shocked look on his face as he stammered out, "N-No way... my dad was the one who brought you back to the Leaf Village...?" Chuckling softly and nodding, Sakura planted one last kiss on this young man's forehead... now wishing that he was her child as she spoke, "I must go to the Hokage now, run along and be good for your parents."
Izuna watched all of this transpire from the top of a roof with a frown. Ryoku then gave the pinkette a stern salute, "Yes ma'am!" Waving as he dashed off, a conviction was then planted deep within his heart. Rushing inside of his home and skidding to a stop in front of his father, the mini-Madara then chirped out, "DAD! I CHANGE MY MIND! I WANT TO BE A NINJA!" Blinking rapidly as he put his shoes on, a deep chuckle was then released, "Oh really? What changed your mind so quickly, because I have to say... that timing was the fastest." - "I MET SAKURA NAMIKAZE UCHIHA! SHE IS SO POWERFUL! I WANT HER TO TEACH ME DAD!"
At that moment, Madara's eyes slightly dulled before responding softly, "That will not be possible..." The word NO was obviously not registered in this child's book, causing him to fold his arms, "Why not, dad!?" The melancholy male then lowered his head to not show the sadness that reflected within his eyes, "It is simple really. Sakura rarely ever comes to the village..." - "WELL, MAYBE THIS TIME SHE WILL STAY TO TEACH ME!" Ryoku argued. However, Madara knew far too well that, that right there... was the issue.
...
"Okay, so I get everything you have told us so far. But, Sakura, what do you believe they are even after?" Minato questioned curiously. Sakura folded her arms and sighed softly, "To put this plainly and as simply as I can... They are after massive amounts of chakra. Well, except mine." Well, THAT is confusing to say the least. Izuna then gave a soothing hum, "Large scales of chakra, huh? WAIT, YOU DON'T THINK-" Sakura merely nodded at this, "Yes. They are after any and all hosts that carry a tailed beast."
Minato's face instantly drained of color the moment he glanced over at his son, making Sakura chuckle, "Don't worry dad. They don't seem to be in possession of the Rinnegan, so they can interrogate us all they want, but gain no information. The biggest issue though would be the fact that they can SENSE chakra from long distances."
Walking up to the map of the world on the wall, the pinkette then pointed to the northern region that she had been in and pinpointed the castle with ease, "This is where, what remains of it at least, the castle stands AND where I had my battle with one of the Otsutsuki clan members. I did manage to learn the other's name though. There is Momoshiki, who seems to be the leader of the two, and there is Kinshiki, who merely seems to be a bodyguard or servant. Kinshiki was the one that I battled, so I am well aware of all of his skills, or at least the ones he let me see."
Turning towards Naruto, she then pointed to a different location, "As for mom and Naruto, the answer should be obvious to say the least. I can already sense that those two are on their way, so once close enough, we will send them to Mount Myoboku for safe keeping. More or less, we will now be playing hide-and-go-seek. We will keep messenger frogs for both Naruto and us. I also have the option of sending them to Mount Arcania to stay with the Arctic Wolf Sages, Madara can send them to the Jungle of Tora, and Izuna can also send them to the Ryu Volcano. So each time the Otsutsuki get close, we merely transport them within an endless loop."
Frowning at her brother, she then gave an encouraging smile, "You won't be the only two to go though. Since I am the most familiar with their chakra, well... stolen chakra to be more precise... I will need to stay put to inform you all of any and all approaching danger. I will be going to the Raikage, first and foremost, to have Killer Bee teleported along with mom and Naruto. They aren't the only ones going though."
Turning towards Madara now, the pinkette took in a deep breath before speaking, "Madara, considering you have much chakra to offer... you, as well as the others, will be going." Madara instantly slammed his hand down onto Minato's desk, "NO! DO YOU HONESTLY THINK THAT I WILL LEAVE YOU HERE ALONE!?" Sakura blankly stared at Madara before shaking her head, "No, I won't be alone. There are two reasons we are splitting up like this. One, you have enough chakra that people mistake that you have more than three tailed beasts inside of you, the other is to summon them to Jungle of Tora."
Keeping calm and collected, she continued, "Izuna will be staying by my side wherever I might go. I personally trained him, so he will have the best chance of survival against them. He, as well though... will need to keep on the move due to the amounts of chakra that he wields. His protection will belong to me and me alone. Each time I gain enough chakra in my left eye and I can feel them approaching, we will move to a different location that is far away from those wishing to do him any harm. Like I said, he was trained by me to FIGHT like me, so I can assure his safety. If I lived, he will as well."
Tapping the dip of her back now, her eyes lowered, "That being said, his safety will always come before my own. Should I feel that there is any true danger to his well-being, then I will summon him to Mount Arcania with or without his permission. So, rest assured that I have thought our plan of action through thoroughly and have also found it to be our best chances of survival."
Indra then began to hum softly as he processed each bit of information, yet Asura asked first, "I get the plan and all... I have to ask though, why is it that you feel as if they won't attack you as much as you believe they will. I mean, you have a SCARY amount of chakra. Wouldn't they want to confiscate your chakra for themselves just as much as the rest of us?"
Keeping silent for only a mere second, she then released a dreaded sigh, "UGH... their leader wants me to marry him and bare his children due to how well I fight. Believe me, his thoughts were about as bad as grandfather's and Naruto's." That's when everyone in the room paled at the comment. Minato then hummed softly, "Sakura? What about Indra, Asura, and myself? We all have large amounts of chakra as well." This only made Sakura nod, "Yeah, I've thought that one through as well. We will place all residence of the Leaf Village within one of my barriers that cannot be sensed, nor passed by any creature that breathes or moves. It SHOULD last you a long time."
That comment made Naruto nervous as hell, "S-Sis... what do you mean it SHOULD?" Sakura then gave a soft chuckle and peered down, "It means exactly what you are all thinking right now. They will tire of my impudence sooner or later. After that, I will be tracked down and eliminated. Well, technically I will only have every drop of chakra sucked out of my body. However... I won't die."
That caught a lot of attention. Minato then folded his arms as he asked what everyone was initially thinking, "What do you mean exactly when you say that you won't die...?" Sighing softly, the pinkette cleared her throat gently, "We needed to seal the ten tails husk, so... it's under lock and key inside of me. I won't turn into Kaguya because of the seal placed over it, but the moment they so choose to extract my chakra, the seal will become undone and you all knows what happens after that. Kaguya will be revived again. Should she be revived, you all, along with the citizens from the other five great nations will need to go into hiding for the rest of your lives."
Minato then frowned, yet then brought his daughter into his arms, "If I never see you again, I will kick your ghostly ass. Indra, Asura, start placing everyone within the shelter so that Sakura may place her undetectable seal over it." Both brothers nodded and made their exit. Once every citizen was accounted for, along with Indra, Asura, and Minato inside; Sakura began face paced hand signs, only to stop and place her hand over the symbol that Megami gave her and swiftly extending her hands to cross in front of one another, "FREEZING SEAL OF ARCANIA!"
With that, no chakra could be detected and Izuna even touched the barrier, only for his fingers to begin freezing - making him quickly pull away, "Sakura, what kind of barrier is that!?" Peering at Izuna, the pinkette smiled softly, "It's an unbreakable barrier from Mount Arcania. Should anyone try to force their way inside of the barrier, they will be frozen alive by nature energy. With too much nature energy and not knowing how to handle it... well, you know what happens then! Instead though, this barrier freezes the culprit for all eternity... never to die... yet never allowed to speak or walk around." Well shit, that sounds terrifying.
All they could do was wait. The two Otsutsuki were nowhere close at that point, yet Sakura and Izuna had already informed the other great nations and any other type of nation of small village of the attack that was to come. When they all evacuated inside of their own respective shelters and were given Sakura's Freezing Seal Of Arcania for protection. In the Hokage's tower, Sakura now stared at the gloomy sky that threatened rain at any given moment all alone in the Hokage's office that had been made into her room. Izuna was now resting up for what was in store for them. They would always be on the move now, so he definitely needed all of the rest that he could get.
Hearing the door open, yet not turning her head away as rain began to tap against the window, Sakura heard the door then close as she lifted her hand to place it against the cold glass. Madara silently locked the door and approached the pinkette, only to slowly lace his fingers through her own - and slowly... he felt his heart begin to beat once more.
Slowly turning her face towards him with tears filled in her duo colored orbs, she then gripped his hand tightly as he lifted his other hand and placed it on her hip gently - only to lean his chin on her shoulder, "How far are they?" Sakura turned her head to look back out of the window and gave a soft reply, "Two days... we are the only sources of chakra they can sense anymore and that stopped them for an entire day. They seem confused and don't know what is exactly going on." This comment made a soft rumble of breathy laughter escape the moody male, "Hell, I do not believe that the two of us even know what is exactly going on any longer."
Her face didn't change from the solemn look it held, but she did clasp onto his hand a bit tighter, "I just want to keep everyone, family or not, protected for once..." Right at that moment a single tear slid down her face as she whispered softly, "Why didn't I choose you to be at my side...? It would have made far more sense with how much chakra we both have..." At that moment a comical sigh was released from the moody male's mouth as he pulled the pinkette to the ground below him, "UGH... I will never understand the way your brain chooses to operate either. If you are asking for advice... well... I would have to say - simply make a change of plans."
His face, now so close to her own that she could feel his lips brush ever so slightly against her own when he spoke had her heart pounding within her chest. Noticing she wouldn't look at him, he then smirked, "I do not love Hinata. I was forced to marry her considering YOU had to become a rogue shinobi for many years!" Tilting her head to look at him now as her hands tightly clasped his, the pinkette softly spoke, "M-Madara..."
Slowly moving a bit forward, he eased his lips against her own by using a method called consideration. Her hands released his to tangle tightly within his long and unruly mane as she lightly nipped at his bottom lip. A gentle nip drove him up the wall as his gloved hands began to unbuckle her clasp and she most definitely followed him as he lightly pulled her up and pulled her cloak over her head, only to place her back on the ground to begin kissing up and down her throat. Softly moaning at his actions, her back arched so that her chest pressed tightly to his.
A breathy chuckle was then released from Madara, assaulting all of her sensitive nerves at once; but he then pulled away with a softened face and he caressed her cheek tenderly the moment he placed his hand upon such delicate and divine appearing flesh. Leaning down, a gentle whisper then came from him, "You are not ready for this burden as of yet... I can wait as long as you need me to Sakura..." Her eyes became widened at this. Madara never WAITED, he merely TOOK what he believed to be his own in the first place.
Once Madara stood and placed his hair within a high ponytail, the pinkette then sat up while blinking rapidly, "M-Madara... did you just say that you'll wait...?" Looking over at her and snickering he had to admit, Kaguya made a masterful Izanami-like situation. So strong that it was capable of holding two within its worlds and capable of changing the hearts of those who need to rethink as to what they are doing wrong.
Admitting it was rough, but Madara had finally figured out his misguided way of thinking. While bragging from time-to-time was okay - you must not become too full of yourself, taking advantage of people may lead to your downfall, live a life filled with happiness... not hatred, not everyone was his enemy unless given a valid reason, everything most certainly did not belong to him, those you find precious - you must treasure with all of your heart and soul, there is someone always out there who is willing to love you, but most importantly... love is a necessity in one's life to truly make them powerful.
They were still here though and that only meant one thing. Sakura was holding onto some misguided teachings as well that needed to be corrected. Such a shame that was, yet, what was amazing to him was that Kaguya was keeping her promises. He could sense it. Uchiha that been murdered or killed in action were now being revived and were just as confused as the villagers of the Leaf. The difference was that their memories had been altered to know of Sakura's and Madara's existence within the world.
Indra and Asura were alive, as were Hashirama and Tobirama; Sasuke... who was still alive... was being reunited with his brother and Shisui. The most shocking revivals though, were Minato and Kushina - and both now looked around frantically for their Uchiha daughter. Okay... that wasn't the most shocking revival. The most shocking revival was Hagoromo and Hamura...
Kaguya gave a soft chuckle once she pulled Madara inside of his mind, "Madara, you finally figured it out. I am so proud of the person you have become. However... you cannot leave until Sakura figures this out for herself as well. I implore you to not tell her of any of this. For if you do, I will have to erase all of the impressive progress you have made. Also, all that I have just revived will die once more and will not revive even should Sakura pass the test."
Taking a deep breath the white haired female smiled softly, "Be assured, she is an Uchiha now... so, the answer will come to her sooner rather than later." Madara snickered softly, "If that's what your aim had been the whole time, why not just tell us?" Kaguya then looked down at this and gave a soft reply that definitely no longer sounded terrifying, "If I had told the both of you, there would have been no point to this test because the two of you would have dismissed it all together. I slowly granted the two of you new powers over time to see just how you would react to the power boost."
Lifting a single brow, Madara could only snicker, "What of the chakra?" The former Rabbit Goddess that some feared as a demon then chuckled softly, "The chakra is my own. You both now wield massive amounts of chakra that will put talented shinobi to shame. Now comes the most problematic situation... I am giving you the task of picking up to four brothers for Sakura. Choose wisely, for you will only be granted this one opportunity. The moment the both of you exit my realms, you both will be leaving with the remainder of my chakra as well."
Tapping his chin lightly, Madara nodded, "Indra and Asura are no brainers. From what I can sense, Minato and Kushina are both aware that Sakura is their daughter, so throw in Naruto. Lastly... since I did so much wrong to him, I ask that you make Obito her brother as well." Kaguya then recorded all names and snapped her fingers, "Done. Now, as for her original parents... she will forget that they were even her parents in the first place so pick new-" - "Minato will be her father. Kushina will be a step in mother, but her mother will be an Uchiha so she carries the name. If she did not revive, that is fine. Her name MUST have the Uchiha surname so that I can..."
"Marry her..." He finished with a gentle smile on his face. Kaguya then chuckled softly, "Uchiha's and their strict policies! My, my, look at you Madara! You have FINALLY fallen in love with someone that will not harm your heart or break the faith that you hold so dear. I am happy for the both of you, but Sakura must pass this test as well without question before the two of you are truly let out.
Nodding his head, he then turned towards her, "You need not to remind me. However, I will say this much to you. Thank you for bringing her to me..." Kaguya smiled softly at this and nodded, "Think nothing of it. I am actually impressed that the two of you managed to stay sane after how much the both of you have been through. I actually put Indra through this test once without Hagoromo knowing, but as you already know, he failed that test." With that Madara lifted a single hand, "Miserably. You may send me back now."
"MADARA!" Sakura shouted frantically, causing him to blink harshly as if he hadn't blinked for two days. Sakura then released a heavy breath and glanced back, "You stopped responding for two days, so I had to send Izuna in your place. The biggest issue is the fact that the Otsutsuki clan is now here!" Chuckling, he then held his hand out and she took it, only to reply with, "Now I have to act like YOU are my brother. Well, I suppose it really does makes sense with how much chakra you have. It matches how much I have."
Walking outside, the pinkette stood firm as the two Otsutsuki clan members lowered. Momoshiki then grinned, "Oh? You brought me a snack. What a wonderful wife you will be." A scowl then laced on the pinkette's facial features, "THIS IS MY BROTHER! IF YOU WISH TO MARRY ME, THEN YOU WILL DO HIM NO HARM!"
Momoshiki then released a sharp 'TSK' that made Sakura take a step back and think to herself, 'WHY!? WHY CAN I NEVER PROTECT ANYONE! I AM SO PATHETIC! No... not this time... THIS TIME, I WILL PROTECT HIM EVEN IF I AM TO FAIL AND DIE IN THE PROCESS! I AM STRONG BECAUSE I HOLD LOVE, I AM SELFLESS AND KIND! MADARA'S LIFE IS BOUND TO MY OWN, SO HE IS THE ONE THING I WILL NEVER GIVE UP ON! HE IS THE ONE PERSON THAT I TRULY HOLD DEAREST! NO ONE CAN OR WILL TAKE HIM FROM ME!'
Kaguya then came into view with a smile, "Sakura... my beautiful granddaughter... I am so proud of the person you have become." Tilting her head, as if all too confused, the pinkette questioned, "Huh...?" This merely made the Rabbit Goddess chuckle softly, "Sakura, you and Madara have FINALLY won your freedom."
Looking unenthusiastic, the long haired pinkette then huffed, "What do you EVEN mean?" Kaguya then looked at all of the dimensions that Sakura had been stuck in, "What I mean is, you finally overcame all of your weaknesses. Believing that you are weak in body, soul, and heart, believing that no one will ever see you for who you truly are, believing that you could never show another as to who you are, believing that you are forced to stare at other's backs while you stand back and do nothing, believing that you were a weak healer, believing that you had to merely stand there as the dead were buried in the ground... while incapable of bringing those unfortunate souls back to the land of the living..."
Looking down, Kaguya then shot her head up and slightly frowned, "But most of all... you believed that you were incapable of helping any of the people you loved the most within this world, whether they be family, friends, or lovers, also you believed that no one would ever look at you with admiring eyes as if they loved you. To leave my realms, you had to correct each and every single dislike you held about yourself OR Madara."
Allowing for her mouth to slightly gape open, Kaguya then slightly chuckled, "That's right! You now hold a deep love and admiration for Madara! I should now probably tell you what is going to happen once you leave. Once you awaken, you will no longer remember that your name is Sakura Haruno, for your name shall now - and forever be Sakura Uchiha. You will also now hold the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan, Byakugan, Rinnegan, and also... Just like Sasuke... you will possess the one eyed Rinne-Sharingan and the power of the right and left hand Six Paths Power. For you were destined to wield such powers.
Sighing softly, as if going to miss the long haired pinkette kunoichi, Kaguya began to explain, "Madara was the first to pass this test and named who your brothers and parents were going to be." Sakura then gained a dry facial expression, "Let me guess... Indra, Asura, Naruto, and Obito to atone for what he had done. For parents, my mother would be an Uchiha who passed away so that Kushina would take over as my motherly figure and Minato would be my true father."
Kaguya appeared dumbfounded at this, yet nodded, "Indeed! That would be correct! Now, let me explain as to when you are to wake up. I will use the rest of my chakra and give both you and Madara an equi split in the remainder. You two will hold an equal amount of chakra when you wake so that the both of you will not argue over who is better. I didn't tell Madara this... but if you two bicker over who is stronger, then the both of you will; once again, dragged back into this realm with no say over the matters at hand."
Folding her arms, Kaguya then chuckled softly, "Also, the moment you awaken... your parents and brothers will remember as to who you are AND all of the Uchiha will have been resurrected. It should come to no shock to you that all know as to who you, or Madara are. For the whole clan now has the belief that you and Madara have been one of their own from the time that you have been born. The clan is also peaceful with the entire village... Ready now?"
Sakura merely peered down momentarily, "Grandmother... I only have one thing to say to you at this point in time..." Tilting her head slightly, the pinkette then continued, "All I have to say is... thank you for bringing him to me with all of my heart. We will now be able to be wed now due to the clan's strict policies."
Chuckling at this, Kaguya then spoke softly, "I will miss you, my sweet granddaughter." With that, the prior Rabbit Goddess then muttered six measly words in a saddened tone to both Sakura and Madara both so that they both would finally come back to the real world as if no time had passed at all for either of them, "Now, both of you... wake up..."
