"You…you had a miscarriage? You were…" Gin looked as if she had stabbed him in the gut and the horror on his face was as if he had seen her turn cannable.

"I was pregnant…I….I hadn't known I was. When I got into the crash…I was comatose but alive the baby…the baby didn't make it." Kir said closing her eyes and not looking at anyone.

"Oh god Demi." Vodka said looking shocked and horrified and his arms immediately wrapped around her as he pulled her to his chest.

"I…wasn't sure how to tell you." Kir whispered as she laid her head on her boyfriends shoulder and felt the tears stinging her eyes start to fall.

"I'm sorry Demi. I'm so sorry you had to go through that alone. You were suffering in silence and I…I just stood there and couldn't do anything to help you." Vodka said and she felt him shaking slightly as he held her tightly to his chest.

"A baby is a wonderful blessing to a couple in love…to lose one is a terrible tragedy." Vermouth said her voice soft and sad as she stepped forward and placed a hand on Kir's back, rubbing soft circles.

"But then…your happiness this past few weeks…" Bourbon said his eyes sad and looking lost on how to approach Kir who gave a small bitter laugh.

"Figures that as soon as I become happy about my second pregnancy in less than a year I get accused of being a traitor for my mood swings." Kir said and Vodka and Gin both looked horrified now as Gin's eyes immediately went to the gunshot wound in her shoulder.

"Oh god Demi. That was the surprise you had for me." Vodka said and Hidemi nodded her head in his shoulder.

"You should go get that patched up immediately. Blood loss isn't good for a person normally, but too much blood loss while you're pregnant can lead to…" Vermouth said trailing off and looking worried and almost as if she was about to cart Kir off to medical herself in an instant.

"Kir…she's right. You should go to medical and get that taken care of or at least we should find a first aid kit to stop the bleeding." Gin said and Vermouth's head snapped to him before her eyes widened.

"Wait here!" Vermouth said sternly before she dashed out the warehouse to her car and then came rushing back in not even two minutes later with a first aid kit in hand.

"I always keep one on hand." Mainly because her daughter had been curious and a bit reckless as a child and teen, and her grandson was certainly reckless and tenacious and almost always needing a trip to the hospital or at least patching up. She had all the training and experience of a registered nurse by now, and she had passed most of that training on to both her daughter and her grandson.

"Here. This should stop the bleeding and then we can wrap it to keep infection out until you get it taken care of by a hospital." Vermouth said injecting a blood thickener into Kir's shoulder to stop the blood flow and then immediately beginning to wrap Kir's shoulder with some gauze after ripping the jacket sleeve off.

"Good thing I didn't like this jacket." Kir said dryly but her eyes still wet and her face still buried in Vodka's shoulder. Why now? Why was Vermouth acting like a grandmother to her now?

"If you did I'd buy you a new one." Vermouth said without missing a beat as she wrapped Kir's shoulder one more time before tying it off and cutting the rest of the gauze to put it back into the medical kit.

"I'm…Hidemi I know I can not apologize enough for this but I promise I will do my best to make it up to you." Gin said solemnly as he stared at her and she gave a strangled snort like sound as she glanced up from her boyfriends shoulder.

"Don't expect to be the godfather if this one survives." Kir said making Vodka hug her slightly and Vermouth immediately rubbing her back again.

"Don't talk like that. This one will survive. There was extenuating circumstances last time that you couldn't help. That will not happen this time." Vermouth said solemnly although her eyes were sad and sympathetic as she watched Kir.

Gin frowned slightly as he stared at Vermouth. She was definitely acting weird now. What the hell was going on with her today?

"Just….Just save your sister." Kir said and Gin nodded his head slightly as he pulled out his phone.

"Vermouth, did Rum say anything else while he was on the phone with you?" Gin asked as he stared at the actress who nodded.

"Yes, he wants us to verify that the message he received was really from Curaçao because she's still not responding back to him, but if we have to break into the police hospital to retrieve her, that'll be hard to pull off, even for us, and going through the bureaucratic hurdles would take a while."

"Don't worry about that. If I'm right, then they should have started moving by now," Gin said smirking with a meaningful glance at Bourbon and brought his phone to his ear, listening to the rings.

"Nice timing, Gin! The PSB airheads have finally gotten on the move," Chianti reported gleefully as soon as she answered the phone.

"As I expected," Gin said, his smirk widening with satisfaction. Good at least something was going right.

"They don't even realize they're being tapped. What amateurs!" the at last half Irish woman scoffed.

"Where are they heading to?" Gin asked, almost wishing he had been on speaker so he could see how offended Bourbon would get.

"Heh, they're heading exactly where you said they would," she said smugly. "They're putting her in the car right now."

Gin let out a sigh of relief. Finally she was out of the damn police hospital and was now under a more manageable amount of police security. Better yet, they were planning on taking her back to the aquarium which was key.

"Excellent. Pull out and get that aircraft ready," he ordered causing all of the ones in the warehouse to look at him, even Kir raised her head from Vodka's shoulders to stare at him wide eyed.

They all knew which aircraft he meant and everyone, including Chianti and Korn over the phone and Vermouth, Kir, and Bourbon on his end, gasped in shock.

"You don't mean…?!"

"It's as good a chance as any to try out its equipment," Gin reasoned and the fact that it was top of the line and the strongest thing they had at the moment was mostly irrelevant.

"But isn't it still in the prototype testing stage right now? It doesn't even have working camo tech on it yet!" Chianti pointed out that very real concern considering how many people were going to be at the Aquarium.

"It's an order from Rum to get Curaçao back as soon as possible. We have to make sure our mission is successful." Gin said and didn't even care if he had appropriate permission from Rum and the boss. If it got his sister back safely he'd take any punishment they would give him.

"Got ya!" Chianti crowed and ended the call.

"Gin, don't tell me you truly intend to use that thing!" Vermouth protested immediately as soon as he got off the phone as she stared at him stunned, one hand still on Kirs back.

He ignored Vermouth as sent off a quick text to Rum confirming that neither Bourbon nor Kir were mind-controlled, and then turned to Bourbon.

"Once we get out of here, I need you to call your subordinates at the PSB and whoever's taking Curaçao to Touto Aquarium, let them know that she has to be taken to the Ferris wheel. We'll be easily able to retrieve her from there with the aircraft's equipment and if Curaçao really hasn't regained her memories yet, I think that Ferris wheel will be the ticket." Gin ordered and Bourbon nodded his head in understanding, the colored lights that were new. The same colors of her codename…

Gin then gave Bourbon a stern and rather scary look.

"And don't you dare let your vendetta with Akai get in the way of your work again…" he warned, guessing that the FBI agent had probably also figured out what their next move would be and would try to thwart their attempt to retrieve his sister. "… but it would be helpful to have you there on site if Akai's efforts to stop us threaten to be successful."

"Yes, sir," Bourbon snapped off a little too readily for Gin's comfort, but he couldn't afford to be too picky right now. At least in this situation, Bourbon's animosity towards Akai might be helpful instead of a hindrance since he could fight the bastard and pummel him for all Gin cared as long as his sister was retrieved safely.

Then Gin turned to Kir and Vodka, looking at her gauze wrapped shoulder with guilt.

"Vodka and I can at least drop you off in the city so you can take a taxi to the nearest hospital. You'll be reimbursed for the travel cost and the Organization will absorb the medical billing as usual if it's not an MiB-sanctioned facility. You have the rest of this week and all of the next for paid time off if you want it. Just get that wound taken care of, and then go home and relax. Don't worry about anything else tonight."

Kir silently nodded her head. She was hiding it well, but Gin could still see in the jerky twitching of her eyes how badly shaken up she was by what he'd done and he felt horrible. Her actions…if he had just asked her or believed Vodka when he said Kir had nothing to do with it…

"Vodka. I'd let you go with her but I'm afraid I need your help with this. After Curacao is back then I'll give you the rest of the week paid time off as well so you can stay with her and help her relax. I promise I won't let him get hurt Kir." Gin said to his partner who didn't look happy but nodded and kissed Kirs head as he continued to hold her for as long as he could.

Gin turned to Vermouth last.

"I'll need you to head over to the Ferris wheel at the aquarium as well and set up the power system to fail so that the grounds are cast into full darkness and nobody will be able to see the aircraft coming."

"I can do that." Vermouth agreed with a nod. It would be easy for her to do so and besides it gave her a chance to meet up with her grandson and talk to him about this doppelganger of hers running around. A doppelganger would explain a lot but she could only wonder how no one noticed before now, how she hadn't noticed.

"Good, you all have your assignments, now let's go." Gin said as he turned and led the way out of the dark warehouse. He had a sister to save.

He said nothing as Vodka got in the backseat with Kir again, continuing to hold her close and whisper reassurances to her and just generally be a good boyfriend to her as Gin drove them to the city proper.

"And you in there. Don't worry. Daddy will be back with you and mommy soon and can give mommy her souvenir and then I'll lay awake all night just talking to you and placing kisses on your mommy's belly so I can kiss you too because Daddy might have just learned about you but he already loves you so much." And he was being a very caring and loving father to be as he spoke to Kir's stomach and glancing back he saw the small soft smile on Kir's face as she looked at Vodka lovingly.

"I'm not far enough along for the baby to hear you yet." Kir said softly and Vodka just smiled brightly up at her.

"I know! But I'm still going to talk to the baby, that way when he or she is able to hear me then they'll already know I love them and I'm their daddy!" Vodka said and Gin smirked a little bit. Vodka was going to be an amazing father and so domestic it would give everyone else cavities.

"You adorable dorky marshmallow." Kir said softly and Gin was glad to see her looking a bit more relaxed now even if she was still a bit twitchy and wary.

Gin snorted at his partners rejoinder.

"Oh sure I'm the dork when you're the one who can quote nearly every episode of Star Trek in both English and Japanese?"
