Killers not-so baby girl
Summary: A sequel to 'Killers baby girl', this is a collection of one-shots throughout the years of Bramty growing up within the club. Set before season 1 has started but I have included some of the details like Donna's death and the birth of Abel and Thomas early on. This version Donna, Kenny and Ellie die in a car crash. Tara never left town and she is the mother of Abel and Thomas who are similar age to Bramty. Clay is also more of a family man then in the TV series.
A/N : I am sorry about the content of chapter 35. I just wanted to explain the reasoning for that chapter quickly. In the story, Bramty has never really dealt with what happened to her as a child, she never healed and moved on. Hence the mention of; out of sight, out of mind. Now that Bramty's an 'adult' she deals with this situation occurring again (and I used the events from the TV show if you didn't recognise that) and is able to close those old wounds.
This time around, Bramty deals with what happened to her instead of dissociating from it. She cries and drawls on the support of Happy, Tig and Kozik instead of locking it away and refusing to talk about it.
I feel this is an important step in developing Bramty's character - it shows how she has matured since Chapter 1 to now.
Let me know what you think :)

Chapter 39
Bramty - Age 18
Happy frowned a little when he walked into Church. Clay had called an hour ago and told Happy that he wanted to talk about Bramty.
He racked his brain for something Bramty could of done wrong, and thankfully thought of nothing.
Which made this conversation all the more confusing.
Clay nodded to him when he walked into the room. "Shut the door Hap"
Happy did and then took his usual seat at the reaper engraved table. "Whats up Pres?"
"Listen Hap... Bramty's just graduated and she's not planning on going anywhere. That girl of yours is as SAMCRO as they get" Clay said with a proud sort of smile on his face. "I want her to sit at my table"
Happy blinked in shock at Clay - sure he had heard the man wrong. When Clay only stared back Happy realised he hadn't misheard.
Clay wants Bramty to work with the club?
It wasn't that Happy couldn't understand why Clay would want that, if anyone deserved a seat at the table it was his daughter. She's already turned out to be a better Son than some assholes Happy had met over the years.
But a woman in a mans club?
Happy didn't see how Clay was gonna make that happen. Something like that would take years and even if they tried, by the time change like that was in motion; Bramty would be too old. And then what would be the point?
"What exactly are you saying here Pres?" He wondered with a small frown on his face.
If Clay was looking to get Bramty's hopes up about something then Happy wasn't about to let that happen. His baby girl would be a damn good asset to the club but trying to get an across the board vote passed would be impossible.
All 80 Charter Presidents across the country would have to vote on that shit!
Clay sighed, "Not a patch unfortunately" the President said obviously knowing where Happys mind had gone.
Happy nodded sadly, "She'd be a damn good Son... but a vote like that ain't gonna pass"
"I know" Clay sighed before leaning forward on the table. "I'm thinking we reach out to Kozik or one of the Normads - maybe she takes a year or two and travels from Charter to Charter... learns more of the business. It'll be experiences and situations we ain't got going on up here. Then when she gets back, she'll have a chair at this table"
Happy leaned back in his seat thinking through Clays offer.
It makes sense - to take Bramty to learn more about club business before trying to bring her in on SAMCRO shit. Hell, Happy knew that going Normad could teach her more than what they can in Charning since it's normally neutral up in California.
Slowly he found himself nodding at his President. "Yeah. I think she'd jump at the chance... especially if we're talking about her being sent to help out other charters"
"We are" Clay confirmed. "As if she was a Son but it's not gonna be easy... clubs won't like letting an outsider in on their shit"
"Don't think that'd stop her" Happy snorted
Clay chuckled in agreement, "Listen Hap. Me and Gem have spent years talking to Bramty, teaching the girl what we know... I don't got nothing left to teach brother, which is why I think she puts some of it to use. It's just that there isn't shit happening here for her to get involved in"
Happy nodded knowing that was the truth. SAMCRO ruled with an iron fist when it came to surrounding clubs of gangs. It had been hard work getting it this way, but now it was done.
Nobody was about to cross them any time soon.
"If Bramty wants this then I want to be the one to take her" he rasped
Clay sighed and nodded, "I had a feeling you'd say that. We got Tig and that fuckers crazy enough for all of us... we'll make due"
"Call her in then brother"

Bramty sat back in her chair and released a breath she'd been holding since Clay started talking. Her mind was spinning. Though her blank face didn't give that away - she'd learnt from the best after all.
Looking at Daddy she could see the pride in his eyes and knew Clay was being serious.
"Let's do it" she nodded without hesitation which earned her knowing smiles from the two men in front of her.
Clay nodded, "I'll make the calls"
Bramty nodded and smiled as she stood up and was immediately tucked under Dads arm as they walked out of Church. She was relieved when he grabbed them a beer each and led her up towards his dorm room.
She fell back onto the bed knowing she must still be feeling a little shocked.
"We should plan to be leaving by next week" Dad said taking a seat beside her on the bed as he drank his beer. The proud smirk on his face had yet to fade since she first walked into Church to see what he and Clay wanted to talk to her about.
"We're really gonna do this Daddy?" Bramty looked over at him with wide eyes - finally letting her emotions show on her face.
Dad nodded firmly, "If It's what you want to do... if you're sure?"
"I am" she nodded quickly. "I'm just surprised but I'm looking forward to it. Promise"
"Then we'll go Normad" he supplied easily
Bramty smiled and hummed in agreement as she stared at the ceiling thinking. There was no way she was gonna refuse an offer like this one. You'd have to be stupid to do a thing like that. This had been something Bramty had only ever dreamed of doing. Going Normad? Just like Daddy had been when they first met.
She couldn't think of a better thing to do in life than help the club - help her family.
Nothing could ever be more important to her than protecting her family, helping in the clubs business and following in her father's footsteps.
Bramty had never been the type of girl to dream about princesses or true love... she had dreamt about finally being able to ride a motorcycle on her own or having a seat at the table in Church. And now there was a chance for her to accomplish some of that dream?
She damn sure wasn't going to let it pass her by!
"It's not going to be easy Daddy. These men aren't going to welcome me with open arms" Bramty reminded him sadly.
While Clay and Dad had skated over that fact - Bramty was fully aware that she would not be welcome in the clubs she'll be trying to help.
Dad nodded, "I know baby girl" he sighed casting her a thoughtful look. "You gonna let it stop you though? Or are you gonna force your way in knowing you got SAMCRO backing you up?"
Bramty scoffed shaking her head at the fact he even had to ask. Dad cracked a smile at that.
"You ain't ever gonna see me not do what I want cause some pendejo don't like me" Bramty scoffed as she reminded him of something they both already knew.
"Love you, baby girl" Dad smirked
"Love you too Dad... but I'm no such a baby girl anymore, y'know"
The grumble that left her Daddy's throat was more like a growl than anything else. It made her laughing while he glared at her for the reminder.

Bramty smiled the widest smile she had ever felt grace her face. Everyone was here to see her and Daddy off on their Normad travels.
When Clay had told her last night that the SAMCRO Friday night party was in honour of her and Dad leaving California - she had been grateful for both the opportunity and the recognition.
But now?
Now the entire SAMCRO family - ex old ladies, mechanics, croweater's, kids and hang arounds alike - were all standing at their bikes in the TM lot ready to send them off properly.
Bramty launched herself at Gemma, pulling the older woman who had been like the mom she ever had, into a bone crushing hug. "I love you mama Gem" she whispered
The tear that escaped Gemmas eye was flicked away promptly and replaced with a look of fond warning. "Now you better come back Bramty. And you keep in touch... I want a call at least twice a week!"
"Promise" Bramty nodded not imaging how she could ever go more than a week without talking to Gemma.
And she didn't plan on finding out if she could!
Bramty made her rounds hugging everyone and promising to stay in contact with them all. The mechanics in the garage who had watched her grow up all wished her luck, as did April Hobart and some of the croweater's who Bramty managed to get along with.
Seeing all the people she had in her life now was a real eye opener for Bramty.
When she was little she'd had nobody until Daddy came along and adopted her as his own. After that she'd know she had a family, a group of people who she loves and trusts. Bramty had just never stopped to see just how many people she called family.
It was truly an amazing sight.
It had her hugging Clay just that little bit tighter when it came time to hug the man who had acted as a mentor and grandfather type. "I won't let you down, Clay" Bramty promised him
"I know you won't" Clay kissed her cheek as they broke apart. Dad now stepping up to shake hands with his President.
Bramty grinned at Daddy when he nodded for them to head to their bikes. As she pulled on her helmet she winked at Tiggy who had made her promise to party enough for the both of them.
Opie held Thomas - who was like an adoptive son to Opie since the death of his own kids - and they both waved as she pulled out of the lot.
Dad looked over at her, clearly trying to sense her mood. Bramty smiled and nodded at him. She was feeling alright. A little overwhelmed with the flood of emotions that seeing everyone she care about brought on - but it hadn't diminished the pride and excitement she felt about the opportunity she had been given.
Bramty was going to kick ass as a Normad and then she'd be back home with her real family again.
She would be stronger when she returns to Charming, smarter, more experienced and better off for it in the end.
Bramty would make SMACRO proud of the daughter they'd banned together to raise.
The blasting of a horn alerted Bramty to the fact that she was rapidly approaching the 'you're leaving Charming' sign up ahead. However it was the familiar flash of Mayan patches and 'good luck Bramty' signs that had her slowing down.
Dad gave her a questioning look as they pulled over to the side of the road. He clearly hadn't realised she was close enough to the people in Oakland to receive a going away, side of the road, send off.
Bramty laughed and dismounted her bike not having to wait more than a few seconds before she was enveloped in her chicas arms.
Her best friends.
Her family.
Everyone was here from Old ladies to patches and her high-school crew.
Bramty loved SAMCRO more than anything else in the world... but her connection to everyone in Oakland was something just as strong. They were the people who showed her how to be an Laguna woman, taught her about her history and culture, they were family too.
Carla and Rosa were squealing about her going off to see the country. Leticia congratulated her on kicking enough stubborn men's asses to get the opportunity. Celia was winking at her and reminding her not to let Dads presence stop her from jumping the sexy men she might meet.
Ez and Esai were going over how to use a gun with her; aim and shoot, don't hesitate. Jorge was telling her not to make too many enemies. Benzo was informing her of some of the greatest MC tattoo artists around the country, much to her fathers disapproval.
Rafael and Ezra handed gave her a hug and a kiss and told her not to forget two handsome men like them - as well as informing her of their new prospect status.
"Shit manos" Bramty huffed a small chuckle. "Im gonna miss you pendejos - and if you tell anyone I said that; I'll deny it"
That was her laughs from all around before Bramty moved to greet the old ladies. Diana was the last of the women to get a hug, and the one Bramty was going to kiss the most.
"Mama" Bramty started but was cut off by the Mayan Queen pulling her into a bone crushing hug.
One that had Bramty putting effort Into breathing.
"I am going to miss you, mi hija!" Diana and the other old ladies all started fussing over her. Explaining ways and tips for what to wear that'll be both sexy biker and appropriate for any business activities she might be doing.
"You've got tetes to show... so show them!" Maria laughed making Dad sigh and shake his head in disapproval.
Bramty laughed and nodded, "ain't never gonna stop being a little Chola bitch"
Marcus chuckled and began the rounds of hugs and kisses from the patched members.
The men not needing to give her any advice knowing she could take care of herself. Some of them expressing regret she'd be a Son not a Mayan - though most of it was jokingly.
But mostly, the men have genuine proud congratulations. All of them understanding more than anyone else just how big of a deal this was.
"Alright, alright" Bramty sighed. "Are you guys trying to make me cry?" She chuckled. "I love you all and I promise to keep in contact"
Marcus kissed her forehead, "No matter what happens from here on out mija... you'll always be familia"
"That means a lot Marc - thank you" she kissed his cheek but paused when a box was pressed into her hand.
Bramty frowned but at Marcus prompt opened the box and found a Mayan MC engraved knife, a glock handgun, bullets, a burner phone and a wad of cash.
"This some MC starter kit?" She quipped earning laughter from the group.
Chico pulled her close to whisper in her ear, "Take it Chica, from us to you. Burner has the clubhouse number and emergency numbers"
Bramty nodded as he pulled away - she knew better than to refuse an offer like the one they were giving. A way to contact the entire club if she ever needed it was more respect than she deserved from them.
"You're family mija" Bishop pressed a kiss to her forehead as she passed by him.
Before she knew it, Bramty was face to face with Felipe. The man who she'd almost become an offical daughter to. He gave a proud smile and pulled her to his chest, his wrinkled fingers pushing the hair behind her ears as he lent down to look her dead in the eyes. "You're an Esposa for life. I'm glad your moving on, but the gift Angel gave you - his necklace - you wear that if your in Mayan territory... let my son, my club, me - protect you if it comes down to it"
She couldn't believe what she was hearing right now. Bramty looked up at Felipe with wide eyes.
An Esposa hanging around an enemy club to kill her Esposos hermanos?
That's betrayal.
Betrayal that fell to her Esposo to deal with... but betrayal nonetheless. Then again, Bramty supposed that was the point of keeping the necklace on in Mayan territory, wasn't it?
All she would have to do is flash her necklace and she would be spared. No Mayan would touch her; they'd call Oakland instead.
But would Oakland would back her up?
If she was killing their brothers would they still make good on that promise?
"I-" she, for once in her life, had nothing to say.
Felipe smirked, "You do what you have to do. Don't make you any less my daughter"
Tears welled in her eyes and Bramty could only nod while it felt like her throat had closed up on her. Her mouth had gone dry.
Bramty stood shocked as she watched the man who should be her father in law. The whispered conversation between Felipe and Daddy didn't even register in her mind yet.
She simply stared at the man who's son had died because of her and she found herself unable to express the emotions she was feeling.
They had become so disconnected in her mind that accessing them again was harder than she would ever admit.
Bramty's shock must have shown on her face because Dad took her hand and guided her back to her motorcycle.
Robotically she straddled the machine but paused suddenly finding herself again. "We're family. And I love you all, 'specially you suegro... you ever need anything; just call"
Felipe gave a firm nod as Bramty fired up her Harley and peeled away from the side of the highway following her Dad.
There was no doubt in her mind that Charming California was where her family was and she would be back.
Because Bramty realised that with all these small goodbyes; she left a piece of the heart she didn't realise she had behind.
"Tacoma here we come"
