39. Chapter 39

Hello everyone! I just wanted to get an update out to all of you who have been waiting so patiently for the next chapter. I hate posting these because it must be so disappointing to get the notification in your email and then realize the new chapter isn't a new chapter at all, so I'm terribly sorry for that. I promise I am still working on this story! I wanted to get the next few chapters out together so that you don't have to sit on a terrible cliffhanger, waiting to know what happens! However, I recently had new floors installed in my home, and it's been very time-consuming moving and cleaning, cleaning and moving, and then just the downtime during the installation. I've just about gotten my house back in order and will be able to focus on finishing up these chapters and posting them soon.

By the way, when I finally post the new chapter, I will first delete this update so the next chapter will be correctly listed as chapter 39. You should get a notification that a new chapter 39 has been posted, but I just wanted to clarify to avoid any confusion!
