Chapter 39
There wasn't a dry eye in the room.
Yuuji looked about and saw everyone had a tear or two, so did he. But… he felt so much better! "Itadori…" came Gojo sensei's voice. Suddenly everyone was clamoring over him, embracing him in their arms. "Jeeze kid…"
For the first time in ages, he was smiling again. A happy go lucky smile that he was known for. "Thank you… everyone…" he whispered.
They pulled away as everyone tried to clear their tears. "Shit man…" muttered Mika.
"Tuna, tuna…"
"That's what you were feeling? How the hell did Suiryu nail that?!" demanded Nobara.
He snickered a little. "He's been in both our heads. Sukuna's and mine… he knows both sides of the story to say the least."
"Still… shit" Todo muttered. "Well, since the show is over and it's nearly midnight. We should get some sleep huh?"
Yuuji felt a little disheartened. "Yeah, you guys go ahead… I'll see you in the morning." He got himself comfortable. His eyes were heavy as it was, he wasn't able to really stay up as late as he wanted to in this form. Yet somehow, he managed to do it today…

The next morning.
Yuuji woke, he yawned aloud and peered about. But was stunned.
No one left last night.
Everyone was still around him, they slept in the wooden domain without care or complaint! It warmed his heart to say the least, yet as he peered to the door he smiled and saw Suiryu lingering. "Hey," he said.
"Hey… you used my journal…"
"Yeah…"
"Why?"
Suiryu managed to creep into the room until he got to his side, from there he sat next to him and explained himself. "You had emotion in that journal that had to come out… You have been hurting so long and kept that in, no wonder you were miserable,"
Yuuji nodded. "I admit, after the performance… I felt… better. Like when I use to feel before this whole thing happened."
Suiryu nodded. "Part of the reason why I agreed to do this." He explained. "We were testing something out to see if we could take away people's negative emotion. It worked… did you know we gathered enough energy to cleanse a good chunk of Shibuya?"
Yuuji froze. "Really?"
A nod came from his brother. "We did that after the performance. Met a sorcerer named Inei, did it with ease. We nearly got the place cleaned out but some are still lingering. I think I will take care of that myself." He paused as he peered at him oddly. "Negative emotion does fuel a sorcerer's power. BUT, when it eats away at them like this, it causes them to weaken. That can never be used to strengthen themselves let alone grow as such." He said in a stern tone. "I want you to consider that from this moment on. You have brothers, you have friends, and there is a reason for them you know. Hell. I haven't even understood human emotions yet and somehow… I understand that!" he protested to him.
Yuuji pause but then began to laugh!
He tried to hold it back until he burst out laughing, waking everyone up in the process!
He couldn't stop himself as he did, at the same time, he felt something altering within him. When he stopped laughing aloud, he leaned back and was staring up at the morning sky.
He paused to it all before sitting up completely. Looking over himself, he was still in the elemental phase but his legs were back! He looked more like stone than tree before and yet, he didn't mind it the least bit! "Huh, it had a second option?" Suiryu said offhandedly. "Also, cover up, your dick is out."
Yuuji quickly grabbed a blanket and made a toga for himself. Suiryu snickered at his misfortune. "Shit man, if I got caught doing that I think Nobara would kill me" he whispered.
"Oh? You two going steady?" he asked.
"What's going steady!?"
The two jumped, as everyone was now awake from the odd event.
"BROTHER!" cheered Toda. He was quick to help him to his feet. "I like this look!"
"Better than being planted…"
"Anyways, so yeah, don't hold it in anymore, got it!" Suiryu scolded as he changed the subject.
As everyone woke, Suiryu turned to everyone. "So… how was the show?"
"Since when the hell could you sing?!" demanded Gojo.
He shrugged it off. "Dunno," he replied in an uncaring tone.
"Still, damn, that was intense, even though we all lived through it…" Fushiguro muttered.
"Yeah, it was, but now…" Suiryu was about to speak but pause. "Oh, the coffin fillers found me…"
"WHAT THE HELL HAVE YOU DONE YOU BASTARD OF SUKUNA!?"
"Ah, my adoring public awaits… excuse me…" Suiryu said as he mockingly bowed before everyone as he took his leave. He confronted the elders as Yuuji merely watched on.
"Are… you not going to help him?" asked Nobara.
Yuuji smirked. "I think he is going to be fine on his own," his stomach then roared. "Damn, I haven't eaten in over a month… I want something good…"

Suiryu approached the council. His smile refused to leave his face as he looked down the twelve elderly looking men. "So, what did you think? I know you saw my show last night, after all, you wouldn't be yelling at me otherwise…"
They shook their heads in disbelief. "The jujutsu society lives in secrecy… and you just exposed it to the whole world!"
"Ah, I didn't. This was a performing art," he said in a calm tone. "Art can be interpreted in different ways. So… I didn't expose anything but my very soul to the world…"
"Do you even have one?" another muttered.
"Who knows at this point,"
"You have shown the world what happened in Shibuya!"
"Yes, and no." he said. "Again, it a performing art…" he paused as his phone began to go crazy. "Oh, and the reviews are in… let's see… stunning… heartfelt… confusing but beautiful… one for the ages… highest ratings ever…" he muttered as he read them over. "All in all, not a bad gig!"
"You… you are pushing this too far!"
Suiryu smirked. "You think that's me pushing this too far… please… you're not even letting me get started!" he laughed. "Nah, I think I am just going to keep doing whatever the hell I feel like. Hey, as long as I am not killing innocent people it's fine!" he insisted before walking off.
"We're not done speaking with you!"
He didn't turn around, he merely raised his hands and flipped them off. "I'm done thought! I've had my fill of you for a year!" he rushed off before they could protest, after all, he's hungry too!
