Chapter 37:

"Fuck me!" Cado gasped, having been physically struck from his unconscious state. He narrowed his eyes, doing his best to assess the situation at hand. He made to move his limbs, only to find them restrained.

Craning his neck to see that he was presently shackled in front of a large palace, on his knees with his arms stretched out at his size. In front of him were what looked to be female guards wearing odd-looking armour. Greek in appearance.

The word 'Greek' triggered Cado's memories, making him scowl as blood bled down his chin. He remembered how he arrived on this strange place, as well as who was responsible.

Ares, the Saiyatonian mentally snarled, restrained hands clenched.

Apparently, he'd gotten his ass kicked by an actual god from mythology. Cado initially was skeptical on the matter, but considering that he couldn't sense his ki, and he was literally thrown to this strange place with Greek design and warriors, there may be some truth to his former opponent's words.

Well, he'd uncover more secrets when he killed the bastard.

But first, Cado had to figure out the situation he was in. It looked like he was still weak from the beating he'd received from Ares, and wasn't properly healed till now. And now, it seemed, he was a prisoner to these people.

He already didn't like this situation.

What pissed him off even more was that he was stripped of his armour, leaving him bare except a pair of pants he wore. If he could just find his bag of Senzu beans, he'd heal immediately, and destroy this piece of rock that he was on.

The lead woman struck him again, only this time he didn't feel it. "Typical male," the woman mocked, sneering. "Ignoring his betters as they stand before him."

Cado raised an eyebrow, unimpressed. "Judging from your attire, you seem to be warriors," he deduced, ignoring her words and causing her to bristle. "It's clear that there's no honour inside of you. You dare to strike at me when I am chained, unable to retaliate? Mark my words, woman. When I am free, you will pay dearly."

"You are nothing here, intruder," the Amazon snarled at him, fury brimming in her eyes. "Break free, and we shall gladly put you in your place."

"Free me from my restraints, and we'll see how well that statement lasts."

The Amazon laughed cruelly at him. "Fool! Do you truly believe we are that gullible?!"

"To be fair, my opinion of you wasn't that great to begin with already."

Roaring, the woman backhanded him again, barely turning his face to the side. He smirked up at her, spitting his blood at her feet. "You hit like a bitch," Cado mocked, enjoying riling the woman up.

"Philippus!" the cry came from behind, halting the woman from trying to hit him again. She and the other stationed guards turned, causing Cado to see who had spoken.

A regal-looking woman stepped forth, flanked by three other guards. She wasn't armoured like the rest of her fellow warriors, but instead donned a plain white dress. She had lovely, golden locks of hair, and had a sword strapped at her hip, and a shield stationed on her back. She finished off the 'warrior-queen' look with a beautiful face, cold and elegant.

Philippus' posture straightened as she bowed her head. "Queen Hippolyta," she greeted.

Hippolyta's eyes were cold and filled with hatred as she stared down at the Saiyatonian. "I trust the invader is not giving you trouble?"

Philippus sneered. "Only idle threats that if he breaks free he will kill me, your Highness-"

"When, you stupid bitch," Cado quickly corrected.

Snarling, Philippus back-handed Cado with all her might as she screamed, "You dare speak like that in the presence of my queen?!"

Cado turned his head again, cracking his neck in casual defiance, despite his position. He turned to stare at Hippolyta, who glared down at him. "I assume that you are the leader of this rag-tag group of feminists?"

Angry, Hippolyta stepped forth and grabbed Cado's neck, cutting off his oncoming words. "Be silent, boy, before I cut out your tongue for your insolence!"

As Cado snarled as he was strangled, a voice called out, "Mother! We still need to interrogate him as to how he found Themyscira! He needs to be alive!"

Hippolyta snarled, before releasing Cado, causing him to cough. Turning to look at who had spoken, his heart skipped a beat.

These women were beautiful, he could admit that. He was, however, more focused on the fact that they were restraining him and were plotting to interrogate, then kill him. But he had to take note of this one, for she seemed to be beauty personified.

Her long, raven locks flowed freely from her head, revealing a golden tiara, and her eyes were a captivating shade of baby blue. Her body was finely tuned muscular, yet retained a pleasing, feminine form. She wore the armour of her people, but it fit her more snugly. Her wrists were decorated with shining silver bracelets, and one hand held a glistening sword, while the other held a golden lasso.

Philippus turned to glare at the woman. "Why must we prolong his life, Diana?"

Seeing that they (currently) weren't focused on him, Cado looked around and took in more of the scenery. He appeared to be in some sort of throne room. He looked to his left and saw that there was no wall and he was able to see the city below. It looked like something out of an ancient Greece. The buildings were perfectly sculpted and seemed to glow in the mid afternoon sun. He also saw what looked like some sort of port down by the water that had several large wooden ships docked there.

A Grecian city, he thought to himself. Narrowing his eyes, he expanded his ki sensing across the island, and even beyond. He frowned as he noticed some interference. Likely a veil of sorts. To keep outsiders from entering this place.

He then used his X-ray and super-hearing to expand his senses over this 'Themyscira'. He was looking for his Senzu beans. Hopefully, they were still intact and not destroyed. If this was a place of a military kind of outlook, they'd likely destroy any accessories a potential enemy may have, or study them and see if they could be of use to their army. He was hoping the latter was the option they chose.

"... filthy male..." were the voices that filled his ears.

"... could he be another Hercules?..." came the whispers from one female to another. He narrowed his eyes, using both them and his ears to focus more.

"... these strange objects appeared in the invader's armour," were the words of another female. He withheld his smirk. Bingo.

Using his eyes, he focused and pierced the pieces of architecture obscuring his vision. Two of the females were inspecting his bag of Senzu beans, his red solar watch in another hand. Apparently, it was dismissed easily. He had to clench his jaw, however, as he saw his armour in scraps, completely destroyed.

... Okay, them I'm killing next. Right after the bitch that struck me, Cado swore, doing his best to keep a level head. Seeing one of the women open his sack and sniff one of the beans, she scrunched up her face in confusion at the strange smell.

There's my chance! Cado mentally called out, still absently listening to Diana and Philippus debate the merits of prolonging his life. He concentrated his ki in the direction of the women, trying to use his telekinesis. It was one of the many skills he had discovered that he could do with ki upon his training. It wasn't one of his more common powers, but he was glad he'd still practiced it.

However, instead of going for the bean instantly, he went for something to make sure that they couldn't alert the others of his plans. Unfortunately, none of them had any weapons on them, so he couldn't kill them quickly. No matter, there was a patch of boulders that they were resting on. Those could work.

Concentrating heavily as a vein narrowed on his head, Cado focused his telekinesis on one large enough rock, making it vibrate slightly. Clenching his teeth, Cado telekinetically commanded the rock to shoot forward, breaking the ground with a loud but quick enough sound.

The Amazons didn't have time to react surprised as they were instantly clubbed on the head by the boulder, breaking itself over the heads and shattering after a few good hits. Thankfully, the two were far away from the larger group of Amazons for them to be noticed.

Acting quickly, Cado shifted his focus from the shattered rock to the falling Senzu bean, which he quickly caught in his telekinetic grip.

Yes! the Saiyatonian mentally cheered at his success. He could gather the bag later, and he could always make another watch.

Hippolyta stepped forward, interrupting the current dialogue. "Enough! Diana is right. We will interrogate him, and - when we're done - we will kill him." Glaring down at the Saiyatonian. "Our shores have been clean of the stench of man for decades, and so it shall be for decades more." She turned to Diana. "The lasso, daughter."

Diana stepped forth, handing the lasso to Hippolyta. She then turned her attention back to Cado.

Cado raised an eyebrow. "If you're going to satisfy some sick fantasy of yours, I'd suggest going off-shore and finding another man. Then again, being the raging bitches that you are, I bet that it'd be hard to find a man to actually go through with it."

Angry shouts came from the surrounding women as Hippolyta glared daggers at him for his insult. Philippus struck him again, but he laughed, mocking them as she did so.

"Please, my mother could hit harder than that when I was a child!" the Saiyatonian mocked.

"You are on thin ice, male!" she hissed. "Speak to the Queen like that again, and I will personally rip you in half!"

Hippolyta sniffed as she wrapped the lasso around Cado's body. He raised an eyebrow in confusion. How the fuck was a rope supposed to help them with their stupid interrogation?

As the rope glowed, Hippolyta asked, "What is your name?"

Cado felt odd as he face scrunched up. What the hell? Why was he feeling this tingling feeling in his body as it felt numb. "M-My name... is Cado, of Rao Industries... and Planets Vegeta and Krypton." His eyes widened at the impossible happening. He didn't even feel like saying those words. Why the hell did he even say them?! What sorcery was this.

Hippolyta's eyebrow raised. "Odd names. Does Man's World even accommodate such strange places? And 'Planet Vegeta'? 'Krypton'? What manner of strange places are these? Do you mean to say you hail from beyond the stars?"

Philippus stomped on his tail, which was also shackled. "It explains his strange appendage. Frankly, I thought he was a spawn of the gods seeking the company of a monkey."

"Philippus," the queen admonished at the possible slight, making her offer a half-hearted apology.

Cado snarled, now furious. "What the hell is this thing?!"

"The Lasso of Truth," Diana explained this time. "It compels all who are bound to tell the truth."

"... So, truth serum in the form of a bondage rope," Cado muttered, staring down at the lasso in distaste. "I fucking hate magic."

"It is pointless to resist, so do not try," Hippolyta muttered coldly. "How did you arrive on Themyscira?"

Cado's body tingled as the rope glowed. He growled, his ensnared body twitching rapidly as it was forcing him to utter the truth. Why the hell was Torquasm-Vo not working? He didn't want to divulge any more of his secrets, for the sole purpose of not wanting to. But he felt the words reach his throat, not caring of his own personal thoughts. So, he did what he could.

Mouth opened, he quickly bit down on his tongue, drawing blood as his words turned out gurgled. "Iforhuhterisundcumehire."

Hippolyta's eyes narrowed dangerously as she stared at the now mute Cado. "He bit his tongue. To go to such lengths to protect his secrets..."

Philippus sneered. "A determined little rat, he is. But he will give up sooner or later." Kicking the Saiyatonian at the side, she grabbed his hair and forced him to the ground painfully, grabbing his jaw to loosen it. "You will talk, filthy male! Tongue or no tongue!"

"Philippus!" Diana exclaimed in shock at her rough handling as Cado tried to mumble, but gibberish came from his mouth as he face was grinded against the floor. Blood leaked out of his mouth and onto the ground as he glared daggers at the Amazon general.

"Philippus, enough!" the queen demanded. "We cannot interrogate him if you keep this up!" The lasso glowed as she wielded it. "You will answer our questions, boy! What is your mission?! Why were you sent here?!"

In pain from the burning rope, his wounds and his bleeding mouth, Cado's body shook as he tried to resist the influence of the rope. It burned when he tried to resist and now it was pushing him to unleash his anger from said pain.

Eyes glowing red, Cado bit down on his tongue further as he gave a powerful and bloody roar, heat vision firing from his eyes and aimed everywhere. He didn't have a direction in mind, he just aimed and shot.

The Amazons jumped in surprise as several of them were struck by the powerful beams, crying out in pain as they were heavily burned or blasted away. Eyes dimming from the power, Cado used the last of his conscious strength to telekinetically toss the Senzu bean towards his direction.

Craning his head, Cado spat out the copious amount of blood in his mouth at Philippus' eyes, who roared as she released him to wipe at her eyes. Which was the distraction he needed. Cado opened his mouth to catch the bean in his mouth as he chewed on it quickly, swallowing it.

Wounds from the previous battle - as well as his tongue being healed - as well as receiving a boost in power thanks to his Zenkai, Cado gave a powerful shout charged with a kiai, blasting all of the Amazons away in a heap, including Hippolyta.

With no one to hold the lasso, Cado shimmied himself out of the rope as he threw it away, shivering in disgust. "Never again," he muttered, clenching his hands. Turning to the flailing Philippus, he reared his fist back and sucker-punched her in the face, causing a shockwave to be produced.

He grinned. "That felt fucking satisfying." Hearing a roar behind from behind him, he quickly turned around and saw Diana charge forward, sword raised.

"You will be struck down, villain!" she yelled, swinging the sword down. Smirking and having an idea, Cado charged ki to his finger to strengthen it, wanting to try something.

As the sword came into contact with his finger, there was a clang... and his finger held. Diana's eyes widened in surprise at the action, stunned to see that she couldn't even slice through this man's finger.

Angered at the smirk on his face and the fact that she couldn't do more damage to him, she roared as she swung her sword skilfully, each arc deflected by his finger moving at speeds surpassing her own.

She became more and more stunned as he deflected with his finger. Was he a demigod? A child of the Olympians? It would explain his absurd strength. But no, the Lasso of Truth didn't identify him as such.

Quick as a flash, Cado held a ki ball in his hand as he quickly aimed it at Diana's chest. Eyes wide, she was too slow react as she was blasted away, a scream of pain following her.

Roars of battle followed as the Amazons charged at him, weapons raised. Getting into a more relaxed stance, Cado moved like a blur, slapping, punching or tail-whipping each of them away, as if they were considered annoyances.

More and more Amazons came for him, causing him to take this a little more seriously. He fisted the first Amazon that had approached, sending her flying into some of the others, then tackled another, forcefully ramming her into a few more. Some horse riders entered the battle, but they were quickly knocked onto the ground.

Hippolyta watched as - one by one - the Amazons fell. She saw that this man held strength that rival that of Hercules. She scowled, knowing that they had no way to properly restrain him.

Unless... she thought, staring at the discarded Lasso.

As Cado was beating the Amazons effortlessly, his senses allowed him to react and catch the Lasso that seemed to be wanting to entangle him. Seeing it wielded by Hippolyta, he scowled. "Fuck that," he muttered, yanking it forward and swinging her around, causing her to yelp and yell in surprise at the unexpected move.

Swinging her around, Cado performed in impromptu Dragon Throw, sending her flying away. Seeing the lasso in his hand, he dropped it as he inspected the island, and the downed Amazons.

He scoffed, using his senses to move towards where the discarded bag of Senzu beans were, as well as his solar watch. Seeing that he was bare with but a loincloth, he sighed as he placed the watch in the sack, then tied it at his hip.

"Now with that done, what-" was what Cado was saying, only to get blind-sided by a powerful punch, causing BOOM! sound to occur as he was sent skidding back. The other Amazons braced themselves against the powerful blow, seeing that it was Diana that had delivered it.

Cado dug his feet into the ground, feeling his cheek. "Huh." He then turned towards Diana, who had a furious look on her face.

"You will pay for invading our home and harming its residents, intruder!" Diana hissed, catching the lasso tossed to her by her mother.

Cado sneered. "You blame me? I didn't intend to come here in the first place! You tried to mind control me with your stupid rope, when I didn't even give a damn who or what you were!"

"Lies!" Diana yelled as she charged forward, swinging her sword. Moving to meet her charge, Cado easily stepped into her guard and unleashed a powerful punch to her face, causing ripples to release from the impact. She was sent flying back, but eventually managed to clumsily land on her feet, sword slicing into the ground to halt her movement.

The Amazons were more and more shocked as they witnessed the fight. This man was strong enough to overpower all of them, even the famed princess. Was he a descendant of the gods? Or even, a god himself?

"I will smite you where I stand, with my gods behind me!" Diana snarled strong. "By Hera, I swear it!"

Cado laughed arrogantly. "Good, pray to your gods. Those still aren't going to save you." Moving quickly, he bum-rushed her, hitting her with a powerful Shoryuken that launched her upwards.

Quickly using her otherworldly powers of flight(1), she was able to stabilise herself, lasso whipped out and swung towards Cado. The Saiyatonian warped away, not wanting anything to do with that accursed weapon.

Appeared above her, he performed a double-axe handle that struck her at her top, causing her to cry out in pain. She was, however, able to get in a powerful kick to Cado's ribs, causing him to grunt as she landed on the ground, performing a crater.

Leaping upwards, she used her own powers of flight to meet the Saiyatonian, sword and shield raised. Thankfully, her gods had gifted her with the resistance of Olympus, allowing her to recover quickly from Cado's onslaught.

Swinging expertly at him, she was able to lull him into a particular pattern before she dropped her sword and struck at him with her hand-to-hand combat, landing punch after punch onto his torso. The impacts echoed in the skies, signifying just how much strength she was putting into her attack. She continued her rampage, using all the tactics she had learned from her Amazon heritage, not relenting-

Only for Cado to catch one of her fists and elbowing her in her nose, breaking it cleanly. She grunted as Cado followed it with a headbutt that made her see the stars of Asteria. Donkey-kicking her, Cado fired off an Apex Cannon meant to disorientate her.

What he didn't account for, however, was for Diana to quickly recover and cross her arms together, the blast hitting her bracelets. As a small explosion occurred, it was revealed that her bracelets were fine, blocking the attack.

Whipping her lasso around, Diana instead aimed for her fallen sword, yanking it towards her as she flew towards Cado. The light catching off of her sword, she was happy to see that it was able to slice Cado's torso, drawing some blood. She then landed a well-placed kick on his head, sending him crashing into the ground.

Diana unleashed a war-cry, racing down into the intruder with a massive kick into his torso, sending a shockwave rippling for miles on the island.

"Now, Cado," Diana said with a smirk as she looked down upon the Saiyatonian, who grunted. "Had enough?" She was shocked to see, however, that he was smiling.

"'Had enough'?" Cado questioned, chuckling. His eyes glowed red. "I haven't even begun to play."

Quickly, she crossed her arms as her bracelets did their best to block the powerful burst of heat vision from him, her feet digging into the ground to halt her movement. Grunting she pulled one arm back to deflect the blast to one side, doing her best to prepare for her next plan. Diana turned, narrowly missing the deflected heat vision as she charged at him, frowning as she saw a ball of sunlight in his hand.

Before she could do anything, Cado roared as he crushed it, releasing a powerful blast of light. She and the other Amazons cried out in pain as they were harshly blinded, the light acting in a similar manner to Apollo's own light.

Hands crackling with electricity, Cado called out, "Lightning Flash Surprise Attack!" he yelled, firing the electricity at her. As the attack struck, her body was fried.

"AUUUUGGGHHHHHH!" she cried out, body struck by the powerful attack. Cado kept it going for a few more minutes, the warrior princess vaguely being aware of the pain she was feeling. Cancelling it out, Cado moved quickly, tripping her and grabbing her leg, slamming her into the ground several times, before tossing her into a nearby Grecian temple.

Flying up into the air, Cado cupped his hands behind his back, ready to fire. "Ka... Me...". Blue light started to gather in his palms, as his body allowed a shadow to cast onto the island due to the sun shining down from behind him.

Seeing him prepare what looked to be some odd-looking spell, Hippolyta was stricken with horror as she shouted to her fellow Amazons. "Amazons! Retreat and return to a secure shelter!"

Obeying her word without question, the Amazons did just that, leaving the princess to deal with the intruder.

"Ha... Me..." Cado called out, tail twitching behind him as he glared down at the downed Diana. Well, if she wasn't able to take the attack, then her precious Themyscira would be annihilated. Which worked for him, since the residents were nothing but stupid feminists. Hell, he'd be doing a favour to any poor soul who wandered upon the island, seeking for refuge.

"HA!" he roared, firing the beam down below him.

, Meanwhile, Diana was slowly regaining her senses. She realized with a jolt that Cado had thrown her into the Temple of Artemis. The anger began to boil in her blood, giving her the strength to rise. She spat some blood at the ground. ejecting a tooth. She rose with a fury, only to balk at the approaching Kamehameha.

"By Hera..." she breathed in shock and awe. What kind of strange power was this?

Her surprise didn't hold up for long, however. Instinct took over, and she crossed her arms, her bracelets acting as her defence as she held them towards the blast. It connected, and Diana roared in defiance as she fought against the Kamehameha.

For a good while, Cado kept the attack going before he stopped. As he floated in the sky, he stared in confusion as he could still feel the ki of the other Amazons, Diana's especially. "The hell?" he questioned, floating downwards. "Why isn't the island destroyed?"

He passed through the gigantic cloud of smoke, still frowning in confusion. Then, a massive resonating metallic echo rang out, dispersing the smoke with the sonic ripples. Cado was shocked to see that Diana was still standing strong, a fiery determination in her eyes. Her bracelets were billowing with smoke, telling him that she had used the metal to block the electrical assault, protecting herself.

"Those bracelets are impressive," was all Cado managed to say, stunned at the fact that she'd managed to actually block his attack.

Hearing this, Diana smiled devilishly. "You'll find that I'm full of surprises." Quickly, she rushed him again, full in the chest this time. Both of them flew deep into the island, the Amazon slamming him into trees and statues. Grabbing his tail, she slammed him into the ground and followed up with a series of face punches.

In a burst of surprise, Cado launched out a sweeping kick to her legs, effectively forcing her to fall yet again. Before she could connect to the ground, Cado gave a short but powerful punch, winding her and causing her to cough up blood as she flew away.

Contorting her body, Diana grabbed her lasso and spun it at him, the golden rope quickly ensnaring itself around his wrist.

"Not again," Cado muttered, before - with a powerful jolt - he was suddenly being dragged into the sky, along with Diana. Her hand was holding the lasso that was forcing him to her, before he was met with a mighty kick to the face. Immediately, he tasted blood in his mouth, but before he could do anything about it, Wonder Woman began whirling him around like a cowboy would do at a rodeo.

"This is for your crimes, villain!" she roared, letting go of the lasso and flinging Cado downwards.

Snarling, Cado halted his movement, just barely touching the temple he would've smashed into. Warping away and behind the flying Amazon, he got her in a full Nelson, restricting her movement. Eyes glowing red, he fired heat vision at her head, burning and disorientating her. She screamed in pain, but was halted as Cado's ki aura burst to life, before he flew down, holding her as he positioned her for a pile-driver.

She tried to wriggle out of his hold, but it was all for nought as he smashed her brutally, right into the Temple of Hera. With a gigantic boom, the beautiful temple was utterly destroyed. This sent massive chunks of marble and stone flying everywhere.

Disorientated and in pain, Diana was left open to the surprise suplex that Cado performed, doing this several times before football-kicking her, smashing her into numerous Greek columns.

Seeing a nearby column, Cado easily plucked it from the ground and chucked it at her. Rising up, Diana saw the approaching projectile. Arms open, she quickly caught the column, barely moving back.

That was a ploy, however, as Cado had previously jumped from his former position, legs locked as they slammed into the top of the pillar, destroying it bit by bit and slamming into Diana's torso, surprising and dazing her.

By Hera, I think my chest cracked from that blow! the princess mentally recalled, wincing in pain as she spat out a lot of blood. What sort of beast of a man is he? Is he somehow a son of Hercules? Of Zeus?

She saw Cado jump again to stomp on the ground. Rolling quickly, she narrowly managed to evade the blow, the ground cratering under her as she kept on rolling. Picking herself up, she swung her leg around, kicking the approaching Cado back. She leaped forward, aiming for a right cross, only for Cado to rear forward, fist also raised.

Their fists clashed, producing a shockwave that splintered the island. Fists pushing against each other, their hands clasped each others, trying to overpower one another. Their other hands joined in the war of attrition, trying to physically dominate each other.

As Diana tried to overpower him, she saw that the island was breaking more and more, on the verge of collapse. She grimaced, not only at the destruction of her beautiful home, but also at the fact that she couldn't push back against Cado. If anything, the Saiyatonian was pushing her back with growing ease.

Panicking, Diana tried to give a kick to the crotch, only for Cado's right knee to raise itself, blocking the kick. She kept on going, her kicks meant to distract him. But he countered her kicks with his own, both sets of limbs in a deadly lock.

However, Cado had an extra advantage over her in this bout. That advantage became clear when his tail struck out, tip slamming into Diana's abdomen. Winded at the deceptively powerful blow, Diana was left open to the blast of frost breath that Cado caught her in.

Frozen, she could do nothing as Cado's heat vision came to life, burning the ice block and blasting her back. She was blasted back into more temples, each oncoming blast seemingly more painful than the last.

Cado didn't relent. Stopping his heat vision for but a moment, his palms lit up as he used his Multi-Bullet Volley. The onslaught of attack slammed into Diana, wounding her more and more. Her bracelets were raised to try and block the attacks, but they were coming too quickly and repeatedly.

Roaring in pure defiance, she slammed her bracelets together, creating a powerful shockwave that blew away the ki blasts and knocked Cado back slightly.

She leaped towards him again, grabbing his face and slammed it down repeatedly on the ground repeatedly, hell-bent on breaking his face. With each blow, more and more blood spewed from Cado's nose, and he felt some of his teeth begin to fracture with the godly force behind Diana's hits.

Enraged, he grabbed the arm Diana had on his head and pulled it - as well as her - to him, and paid her back in full with a flurry of relentless punches right into her face, just as powerful as her blows. Blood began to flow freely from her nose also, and the trickle by her mouth slowly began to thicken.

She tried to sneak in a few blows, but Cado was too enraged to respond, beating the ever-loving shit out of her as blood flew across the air at the violent beatdown. Catching one fist aimed towards him, Cado used both hands to rotate it painfully, snapping it.

"Aaargh!" she cried out at the pain. Grabbing her broken arm, he slammed her everywhere he could; the ground, the nearby columns, the nearby temples. Eventually, he spun himself like a cyclone, before throwing her away.

Diana crashed through the trees, landing flat on her back. Despite her potent healing factor, she was getting more injuries than her healing could account for. Using her other good arm, she spun her lasso around, before throwing it at the flying Cado. Learning from his earlier mistake, he caught the lasso in his hand.

He yanked it towards him, bring Diana along with it. Fist cocked back, he decked her across the fist, a shockwave being produced. With a cry, she was sent flying back. Not content, Cado grabbed the lasso again and spun it with expert precision, watching it ensnare Diana.

"Let's see how you like it," he snarled, yanking her back again and unleashing more and more punches. Cado's fist was caked with blood, before he fired off an uppercut to her chin and landed a follow-up punch to her face, finally releasing her and sending her flying to the ground, eventually stopping.

Diana coughed, stunned at the brutal amount of blows. One of her eyes were swollen shut, her healing factor doing its best to repair it. Blood began flowing freely again, into her mouth and down her chin, dripping onto her cleavage and armour.

Before this fight, she believed she was one of the most powerful beings to walk across this Earth. That belief was promptly shattered during this fight. She feared that this monster of a man was dishing out way too much for her to handle.

She did her best to dish out blows that she thought were equal to his own, but he seemed to shrug it off all the time. She picked up the discarded sword, somehow appearing before her, to stand up. However, a heartbeat later, Cado was upon her.

A tired swing of her sword proved ineffective, as the Saiyatonian caught the blade, and plucked it from her grasp, throwing it away. Grabbing her other arm, he promptly broke it like he did the other one. He didn't even give her time to cry out in pain as he grabbed her lasso, already knowing how dangerous it could be if left unchecked.

Grabbing her in a chokehold, fear crept into Diana's body as she futilely struggled to overpower him. That was why he broke her arms, she realised. Victory was all but assured for him.

She tried to kick at his legs, but they stood firm as his arms wrapped around her neck, positioning them so he could snap her neck. "You were a good fight, woman," Cado whispered, secretly enjoying the fight. Not that he would readily admit it, of course. "But I win."

Fearful, Diana could do nothing as Cado prepared to seemingly end her life. But before he could do so, a flash of light entered his and Diana's vision. The light faded as quickly as it appeared, showcasing a beautiful woman.

"L-Lady Athena?!" Diana gasped, shocked once again at seeing one of Themyscira's patron goddess' appearing before her.

The goddess was clad in a bronze breast plate that cupped her breasts snugly and ended several inches below, exposing a muscled stomach. Athena had an armoured skirt that clung to her hips with slits on each side to allow her muscular legs, and a pair of armoured greaves and sandals adorned her feet. On her arms were bronze arm bands and a pair of bracelets that looked very similar to Diana's, only looking more... godly. She had a Greek war helmet on her head to finish off the look.

Athena looked towards Cado, a glare in her blue eyes. "Release Olympus' champion, alien."

Cado growled, tightening his lock on her. "Or what?"

"You have destroyed our sacred grounds of Themyscira, attacked the Amazons, and have threatened to kill Diana of Themyscira." Athena's eyes narrowed, looking more and more deadly. "You dare seek to kill her, in my presence, on less?!"

The Saiyatonian sneered. "For a supposed goddess of wisdom, you are glaringly stupid. I was sent here by Ares, and was tied up and beaten by your Amazons. And you expect me to just go quietly?" He laughed. "No, she dies."

"Ares?" Hippolyta's voice called out, causing eyes to be focused on her. Her and some other Amazons had arrived upon hearing the shockwaves stopping. The queen was torn between glaring at Cado and wanting to bow before Athena. She settled for the former. "Release my daughter, now!"

"You're in no position to be making demands," Cado scoffed.

Athena glared at the Saiyatonian. "Ares' escape from Themyscira was unfortunate, but what is truly more troublesome is his sudden influence upon Man's World. Already, he and some mortals have created more and more chaos from the destruction of your battle with the parasite, Starro. His attack on you is in no way linked the Amazons." A sword appeared in her hand, pointed at Cado. "Release her, or suffer the wrath of Olympus!"

"You think that just because one of you Olympians got the jump on me, that I am considered powerless?!" Cado retorted, furious. "Then come on! I'm not like these useless women, singing your praises! You wanna fight?! I'll crush you!"

Gritting her teeth and knowing that she wasn't in a position to banter with the foolish mortal who had her champion in his grip, she tried a different angle. "Then let us debate in another matter: the defeat of Ares."

The sudden shift of topic caught all of them by surprise. Hippolyta most of all. "My lady! You would make peace with this... this beast?!"

Athena turned to stare at her, silencing her. She then turned towards Cado. "That is what you desire, mortal, isn't it? Ares' defeat for stranding you on this island?"

"And why are you trying to help me in killing another of your own?" Cado asked skeptically.

"Ares' bloodlust will eventually have Man's World consumed in a bloody war," Athena revealed. "Something that no one on Olympus wants. In addition, the power that Ares would gain from such an act would bolster him into foolishly trying to take on my father, Zeus. And while this may seem foolhardy, he would drag Olympus into his own pathetic war, bring chaos and anarchy."

Cado's eyes narrowed. "And you cannot do the job yourself because..."

Athena scowled. "Zeus has ordered the gods not to wage war on one another, for fear of destroying Man's World. You, however, are not included in this rule, making you a loophole. Defeat Ares for us, mortal, and you will have Olympus' thanks, and be spared of our wrath."

Cado raised an eyebrow, making Athena sigh heavily. "Despite your misgivings, we are not your enemy. Some of the Olympians are already wanting you dead, namely Hera and Artemis. Doing this will at least appease Zeus, leaving you alone."

"I fear none of your gods," Cado dismissed, making Athena laugh mockingly.

"You could not even defeat one Olympian. What makes you think you could defeat more?" she mocked, getting Cado to clench his jaw. He then chuckled, surprising the goddess.

"Is there something amusing?" she questioned, annoyed at being mocked.

"Yes, actually. You seem to think you know everything there is to know about me, but really, you don't have a clue." One hand holding Diana, he disappeared and reappeared in front of Athena, shocking her as she saw that her sword was in his other hand, aimed directly at her neck.

Gasps rang across the Amazons as he grinned. "Getting defeated by Ares was humiliating, but I reaped the benefits of that battle, and am stronger than ever. Trust me when I say that the outcome of our future fight will be much different, trust me."

"... Even so," Athena explained, glaring at both him and the sword in his grasp. "You would be a fool to reject our generous offer. Accept, and you will reap far more benefits than you could imagine, trust me."

Cado frowned in thought, thinking on it. Despite his anger and pride flaring, he had to admit that Athena's words had merit. Plus, he could take one of the Amazons, who were apparently the jailors to Ares' former prison. He couldn't locate his ki, so getting a far more experienced warrior in this matter would be beneficial. And he was eager to pound his fists against Ares' face again.

Scowling, he threw away Athena's sword. "Alright. But don't make it a habit of getting in my way. Otherwise, Ares wouldn't be the only god I'd have beef with."

Athena growled, but didn't say anything. Cado threw Diana from his grasp, Hippolyta going to her side immediately and tending to her. "Very well," she bit out, glaring it him with such a gaze that it would've killed a lesser man. "Princess Diana shall be your guide to help locate the god of war."

Dozens of Amazons were unhappy at this, Hippolyta being the most vocal, but Athena glared at them, causing them to be silenced immediately. "She is the most skilled Amazon available, and has teachings of the gods to help discern Ares' patterns. With her by his side, he'd be easily located."

Both Diana and Cado glared at one another, clearly unhappy at having to team up. But both could see the logic in Athena's words.

Hippolyta spoke this time, surveying the available Amazons and seeing who was missing from her ranks. "Where is Persephone?" she questioned the others, who looked around, worried that she was caught in the previous battle.

An Amazon stepped forth. "She was the last one seen at Ares' prison. Some of the other stationed guards were killed, by one of her blades."

Gritting her teeth, she clenched her fists, anger filling her body. "Traitor," Hippolyta whispered, angered at the Amazon foolishly following the god of war. Why the foolish girl believed that Ares was seemingly a better option to choose than being loyal to her fellow Amazons... it left a taste identical to the poison of the Hydra in her mouth.

"Diana," she requested of her daughter, who slowly stood up. "As Queen of the Amazons, I order you to bring death upon the Amazon known as Persephone, for following the ways of Ares."

Shock filling her, Diana stared at her mother, who's expression remained stony. However, she slowly nodded, knowing that any protest would be wasted on her. Especially given Themyscira's state. "I... understand, mother."

Athena nodded, looking towards Cado. "Then make haste. The longer that Ares is left unattended, the more dangerous he could appear."

"Not as dangerous as me," Cado countered, cracking his knuckles at the thought of defeating the god of war.

(1) I'm using Wonder Woman's ability to fly in this fic from her different versions.

Done. Next chapter will more of an adventure/quest arc, this was just the "introduction" chapter.

Hope y'all liked said chapter, as I enjoyed writing the fight. Yeah, unfortunately, Wonder Woman wasn't enough for Cado, but it was a good fight. And while Cado's actions may villainize him in the eyes of the Amazons... realistically, there wouldn't have been a 'peaceful' outcome into this, even if Cado would've put aside his pride and requested help from the Amazons, which would've been OOC if he'd gone through with it, and OOC for the Amazons if they'd accepted.

Also, the WW in this story will be a mix of Post-Crisis and New 52 as - personally - I kind of liked the more aggressive version of her, rather than the George Perez-written version of her. She's both merciful, but knows not to waste it on those who spurn it. And obviously, she'll be a daughter of Zeus.

As for the Amazons, I'll also be using their Post-Crisis and New 52 versions, mixed in with some Earth-2 as well. Again, because it's realistic.

I'll also touch upon the DBZ parts next chapter as well, obviously changed of course.

Guest Review time:

1.) No, I didn't delete a line. I'll check that chapter again to see what's up.

2.) He spent 6 years in the atmosphere, then slowly got used to Earth's atmosphere. That's why it affected him so badly.

3.) I don't care about flamers, I just love roasting the fuck out of them. And try and actually give proper comments and reviews and maybe I'll consider them, instead of flaming about the story like a pathetic dumbass.

4.) Don't really give a fuck if you dipped. And I ain't a 'pansy kid'. The fuck? Where did this come from? Because I don't take shit from other dipshits? ... Okay.

5.) Yeah, gotta keep his win record broken at some point.

6.) For now, no.

7.) Don't see why Zeus would do that.

8.) They will later on, but tension has already been built. Human power levels will be expanded more in the DBZ parts. And no, Themyscira won't be teleported, that'd be weird to actually explain. Not a bad idea, though. The humans/mortals are obviously stronger than most in the DC Universe.

9.) Training with King Kai and individual training. I will do my best to keep them relevant.

Glad to get that done. Thanks to all those who f,f,r and r the story. Appreciate y'all. Flamers can suck a dick.
