Chapter 40
The days leading up to the 16th were annoying, to say the least Harry had taken to avoiding Granger and the two youngest Weasley's. They just started on how he should transfer his family to the light and stay away from the Slytherins as they were bad influences whenever they were. However, he was no fool as he could tell who a good or bad influence was and now tells him what to do. He and some of the others have decided to be careful whenever they were around Hermione. With that time-turner in her possession, she could use it to appear wherever she wanted. His dad had a chat with Professors Dumbledore and McGonagall about why Granger was given such a device.
According to him, she was given a time-turner because the girl wished to take a multitude of classes and enhance her understandings. Severus voiced his displeasure about giving the girl a dangerous device but had chosen his words carefully. He would have continued, but Albus was adamant and put his foot down on the matter. He said the last thing was that if the workload became too much, it would be taken away from her. Needless, to say the potions master left with a sneer, indicating that he was not happy.
What came next only served to make Harry more irate. Arcturus gave him a call and explained that Dumbledore requests a meeting with him and Emily on the 15th after classes. The two siblings could tell that Lord Black was not happy about being anywhere near the old goat but couldn't help but feel amused at the restrictions placed on him. So, it was decided that they would go after classes were done. Whenever Harry saw the old man, he couldn't help but snicker as his beard was starting to grow back. Arcturus showed him the memory of him ripping it off the man's face and burst out laughing.
The two were currently waiting with Professor McGonagall near the gargoyle entrance to the headmaster's office. They didn't have to wait long as the old Black came with the caretaker Argus Filch, who looked like he wanted to be elsewhere than be near Lord Black.
"Thank you, Mr. Filch, you may leave now," Minerva said as the two were close enough.
"Yes, ma'am," he said was about to turn around, then sent a death glare at Hadrian and muttered something.
Arcturus, unfortunately, heard him and grabbed him by the collar of his shirt and slammed him against the wall.
"Lord Black, what are you doing," Minerva said in protest of his actions.
"Shut it, Minerva," was all he said, then turned back to the frightened caretaker, "listen to me, squib. If you touch my nephew or his sister, you'll answer to me. And by the time I'm done with you. You'll be begging for the safety of Azkaban. Clear?" when no response came. Arcturus pulled him back and slammed him hard against the brick wall. "I said am I clear?" he asked in a threatening voice.
Argus was completely scared and fervently nodded. Arcturus then threw him on the floor and delivered two kicks. One in the groin and the other in the face breaking his nose.
"Let's go," he said to the spectators. Minerva looked at the display with pure shock. She knew what it was like when Arcturus was mad at someone but never expected this much hostility. Taking her wand out, she sent her cat Patronus to Poppy and requested that she come to the entrance of the headmaster's office and tend to him. After finishing her work, she gave the password, and the staircase started moving. Ascending up the stairs, they arrived at the door, where they heard the voice of Albus "come in," not needing to be told twice. She opened the door.
Walking inside, they saw that Dumbledore was sitting behind his desk and that Professor Hagrid and Lupin were in the room by the fireplace. "Welcome all, Lord Black," he greeted.
"Dumbledore," he replied in an unimpressed voice. "What is it that has your knickers in a twist this time?"
Albus noted the coldness of Lord Black's voice and knew he was not in the mood. "Well, I've received word from Petunia," he began "she has requested to see her nephew in the hope of mending their relationship."
Hadrian snorted. "I will not entertain that horse-neck bitch" he said defiantly. "As far as I am concerned, she can remain in prison for all I care."
"Language, Mr. Potter," McGonagall chided him. Harry rolled his eyes at her.
Albus spoke again, "Mr. Potter, I understand that you have mixed feelings about your aunt, but I must insist that you give her a chance. She is, after all, the older sister of your mother" his eyes twinkled.
"Let me think about it uh… no," he said, "and just so we are clear, you can insist all you want to, but I have no obligations to that woman, and there's nothing you can say or do. To make me."
The headmaster gave a grandfatherly sigh. Harry continued, "while we're at it, what are they doing here?" he pointed at the two professors by the fireplace.
"Worry not" Albus held a hand up. "Professors Hagrid and Lupin just wanted to speak with you about something."
Hagrid was the first to speak, "Harry, I er never got to thank yeh for what yeh did ferme with the 'hole arrest. Thank yeh a million."
Harry spoke. "I didn't do it for you," he replied in a cold voice that seemed to cut like a knife at the half-giant. "I just don't like seeing an innocent person put behind bars. That's all you'll get."
Hagrid looked down in sadness.
"That was entirely unnecessary, young man," Albus commented, losing the twinkle in his eyes. "Why must you always be so cold?"
Harry narrowed his eyes at the headmaster "why must you be so incompetent that you allowed a basilisk to roam free for an entire year?" he fires back, "or maybe you can explain why it is that you seem unable to clean up your own mess? I don't' know what headmaster Dippet thought when he appointed you headmaster. But he was pretty stupid when he made the decision.
Albus was about to speak when "Oi," the voice of his predecessor, shouted, "apparently someone forgot to teach you how to show respect to your headmaster's." That brought attention to him.
The boy in question just looked at him "don't get upset with me. You're the one who allowed this goat to be the headmaster, and you allowed this guy," he gestured to Hagrid to be expelled without conducting a proper investigation. Not only that, but you could also have let Voldemort" Remus, Minerva, and Hagrid gasped "stay in the castle, yet you allowed Dumbledore to talk you out of it. So much for being a competent headmaster."
He then added, "you might have been a good teacher, but your bad judge of character."
Before Dippet could speak again, Dumbledore cut in, "Mr. Potter, I will thank you kindly not to point out my predecessor shortcomings. I know you don't like me, but I hope you will believe me when I say that everything I have ever done was for the greater good."
Emily just laughed. He then turned to her, "I fail to see what is so funny, Miss. Stevenson."
She responded, "you are a joke," she said, much to everyone's surprise, "based on what I've heard and seen, you've only done things that benefit yourself. Frankly, you being the headmaster is a big mistake."
The adults, except for Arcturus was shocked at what the girl just said. Minerva responded, "young lady, that is not the way you speak to the headmaster. Ten points from Ravenclaw."
Emily just clicked her tongue. "I'm just telling the truth."
"I assure you, Miss. Stevenson that everything I do is for the best of everyone," Dumbledore said.
Harry and Emily turned to each other "you believe that?" the latter asked.
"No," he replied, then turned back to the headmaster, "if that were true, then you can explain how you let a thousand-year-old basilisk roam free. Or you can explain why it is that you hired that fraud and refuse to get rid of Binn's."
Albus shifted uncomfortably in his chair. Merlin, these two are going to give him a headache. "Had I known that Gilderoy harmed the students, I would have had him arrested right then and there? As for Professor Binn's, I don't see what is wrong with him."
This time Minerva looked at with a questioning glare. Harry responded, "the man only talks about goblin wars and is known for making people fall asleep. To put it more simply, his entire class is a joke," he said bluntly. "Now get to the reason why you wanted us to hear. We have better things to do than spend time in your company."
The aged headmaster just massaged his temples. Remus couldn't help but stare in astonishment. When he and the others would never have spoken to Dumbledore that way. Albus found his voice "the reason you all were here is that Professor Lupin wanted to talk to you both."
Brother and sister turned to Lupin. Already he was bracing himself for what they would say "I couldn't help but notice that you two seem very proficient with my course. Truly it is very exceptional work. Even after what happened on the train over here. Your ability to cast a Patronus charm was masterful."
Neither of them said a word, and then there was silence in the room. Remus cleared his throat after a few minutes and spoke again, "I was wondering if you can explain where you learned that spell. Most adults are unable to perform it."
"I had a good teacher," Harry commented. It wasn't a lie, but that didn't mean he wanted to elaborate on who taught him. "If you want to know about the matter, then talk to Professor Flitwick. He is at least one of the few professors in this school I like and is not a cowardly traitor."
Remus had to keep his temper in check as that jab was at him. "I am not a traitor," he replied, "I just wanted to know where you learned a difficult spell like that."
"What you call difficult we call easy once you get the hang of it," he said loosely. Harry caught Emily's eye out of the corner of his eye and gave the nod. They both took out their wands, and "expecto patronum," they said in unison, and both of their respective patronuses came out. His Hebridean black dragon and her dolphin. Both completely solid. "Are we done?" their patronuses vanished.
"That was amazing," Remus commented. "To be able to cast a corporeal Patronus is amazing," said in awe. "Anyway, I was hoping we could build a relationship. Harry, I know you don't like me, but maybe there was a for us to find some common ground. And hopefully with your sister as well."
"It's Mr. Potter to you," Harry said "you and I are not friends. And if you wanted a relationship with me, then you should have visited me and not been wallowing in self-pity."
Emily stepped in "no offense, sir, but I don't know if you can be trusted. The way you abandoned the son of your two best friends doesn't fill me with much hope."
Remus couldn't help but look sad at what they said, "it was not like that," he protested. "I already explained why I couldn't see your brother when he was growing up. The headmaster said I couldn't."
"Sounds like you put your loyalty to the headmaster above your loyalty to your friends," she commented. "Nice to know where your loyalty lies. Too happy to do what the headmaster says rather than check on the child of your friends."
"He is a good man," Remus gestured to Dumbledore, "and he deserves your respect."
"Respect is earned, not given on a silver platter" Emily bit back then turned to Harry "can we leave now? I want to show you something!"
"Sure," he replied, "it beats being in a room with a weak-willed coward and his alpha goat" with that, they started leaving the room, ignoring the protest of the others.
Albus gestured for Minerva to follow them. It was clear that he would have his hands full when dealing with those two, and here he thought Harry alone was hard to deal with. If only he could speak to them alone without one of their guardians present, things would be better.
Minerva caught up to the two in the hallway and addressed their behavior in the room. She may have been cleared of the potions in her system, but she still had duties as the head of Gryffindor. The three traded a few words, and after docking 15 points, they walked off unfazed.
Both just headed back to the room of requirement and had a mental talk about what just happened in the office. Brushing it off, they expanded their senses to see if anyone was around. After finding no one in sight, Emily muttered the password, and they walked into the room. "Alright, bro, it's time for you to see my animagus form," she said with pride.
"You finally perfected it, huh" he tilted his head a bit to the right.
"Yep, now close your eyes," she said. Harry closed his eyes and allowed her to arrange the room she wanted it to be. After a few minutes, the room was exactly the way she wanted it to be. The room now had a pool-sized bathtub. Taking her wand out, she transfigured her clothes into a green one-piece swimsuit and jumped in the water.
Then she transformed into her animagus form. "Open them," she mentally said.
Harry slowly opened his eyes to see that the room mirrored the bath back at home. Looking in the water, his eyes went comically wide at what he saw. In the bath was no longer his cute little sister but a horned serpent. The top part of her body was black, while her underbelly was grey, a blue jewel on the top of her head, with two sets of white horns and a spiked tail. He had studied these creatures, and while they were Class-XXXXX creatures, they were fascinating. The normal blue eyes the creature usually had were the grey of his sister.
"Impressive, Shizuku," he said with a smile on his face. "That form suits you, well."
She gave him a serpent-like smile, then transformed back into human form and swam in the bath. "I try," she said cheekily, got out and dried off with a towel that appeared in the room "you should know that I can now detect the electrical fields generated by all living things and that my eyesight has gotten much sharper."
Harry gave her a light chuckle, "we better tell Uncle Jack about your new form," to which she agreed to without delay.
Placing a call to Stevenson's manor, they spoke with Jack, and Emily explained her new animagus form and told him her distinguishing features. Jack was happy for her and agreed to have her registered and send her the license in the next coming days.

The next day at breakfast, the gang enjoyed themselves when an owl came and with a letter attached to its leg for Harry. Untying the letter from his outstretched leg, he gave it a piece of bacon and watched as it left. Opening the letter, he quickly read it and groaned in irritation "unbelievable."
"What's the matter?" Blaise leaned in next to him. Rather than the answer, he showed him who the letter was from, and he just laughed, "you lucky bastard." That got a slap on the back of his head courtesy of Tracey, which didn't deter him. "I'm a bit jealous, man! Don't you think you should send the young woman some flowers and maybe write her a song" he joked?
"Yeah, right," he groaned. "She's not my type."
Blaise just snickered, "not your type of please dog. That girl is fine! And besides, Japanese babes are in season if you know what I mean" he wiggled his eyebrows.
This time both Daphne and Tracey hit him. One kicked him in the shin while the other slapped him in the back of his head. The former then looked at Harry "what's gotten you in a mood?"
Harry then summoned some flames from his hand and burnt the letter till it was nothing but ashes "a letter from this girl at Mahoutokoro! I swear I cannot stand that woman."
"What's the matter with her?" Tracey asked.
"The girl is arrogant and self-absorbed," he began "she looks down on people who are not in the same social class as her."
Daphne spoke up, "why am I getting the feeling that there is more."
Blaise answered, "the girl's name is Kisara Shiba! She's the daughter of the Japanese minister of magic and older than us. Still, I say props, man, got an older woman after you."
Tracey glared at him "like your one to talk," she hissed. "You don't even have a girlfriend."
He pretended to look hurt. "Miss. Davis, I will have you know that I have a date today."
She scoffed at him "oh! Who's the unlucky girl?"
"Lisa Turpin, if you must know," he said with pride. Then turned to Harry "wish me luck. I got to go. But for real you should write her back," was all he said before he went to go sit with Turpin, who was at the end with her friends.
The others watched in complete shock as he and Lisa left the great hall. Nicole groaned "men," she commented. "How did he even get a date with her?"
While the other females talked, Daphne kept glancing at Harry "you really don't like that girl, do you?" her cold mask was slipping back into place.
"God no," he replied, "I much rather spend time with Dumbledore than be with her." Emily patted him on his shoulder.
Daphne couldn't help but feel relieved inside. For a moment, she was a bit jealous. But then her rational mind kicked in, and she mentally slapped herself. She and Harry were not dating, and he was free to go out with whoever he liked. Even though she told herself that a small part of her didn't like it, "so you're really not coming with us to Hogsmede," it wasn't a question.
He shook his head "as I said before, I have plans today."
She would have said more but was stopped when a familiar annoying voice came "you must be very proud of yourself!"
Turning her head, she saw that Granger was coming. The bushy-haired girl was not happy and was holding something in her hand. "What do you want, Granger?" Daphne drawled.
Hermione ignored her and went over to Harry "this must really make you happy, doesn't it" she held out a paper in his face.
"I don't even know what you are babbling about, Granger and for merlin's sake, lower your voice," he said.
She just glared daggers at him. "I'm referring to the fact that I just got a letter from the W.E.A, and they denied me entry into the accelerated program," she said with anger.
Harry answered, "and that's my fault because?" he raised a single eyebrow.
"It's your fault because, according to them, I do not qualify, and I know you had something to do with it" she accusingly pointed a single finger at him. "You just can't accept the fact that I deserve to be in the program with Greengrass. Unlike her, I deserve it as I have worked harder than anyone in the school," she exclaimed.
He just let out an exasperated breath "Granger, I don't care whether or not you got in the accelerated program, and blaming me because you couldn't get in only shows how insignificant and brainless you really are."
"I am not brainless," she retorted. "I am the brightest witch in the century," Hermione claimed.
"Apparently, not," he responded. "The only thing I see is an arrogant, spoiled, self-righteous girl! Who thinks she is entitled to things that others who have worked it."
"I demand that you take that back and tell them that I deserve to be in the program instead of Greengrass."
"No!" Harry said in a cold voice. "Just so we are clear here" he got up from his seat and looked directly into her eyes. "I don't take orders from you, little girl. And your happiness means nothing to me. So run along and go bother someone who actually likes you," he said dismissively.
Hermione stomped on the ground. "I am not leaving till you apologize to me" she crossed her arms around her chest.
Harry just shook his head at her "then you better get comfortable because I have better things to do than watch you complain" he then turned to Emily, "ready to go?"
She gave him a nod, got up, and followed him out of the great hall. As they were entering the main hall, Granger hustled to Harry and violently turned him around and held her wand at him "you owe me an apology now" she kept her grip on his shirt.
During her tirade, she didn't notice that she was only making the situation worse. Hadrian acted on instinct and removed her hand from him, followed by a kick to the stomach that knocked her down while holding her stomach "you can't do that. I'm a girl. You are going to be in so much trouble. I'm going straight to" was all that was heard.
Harry had flicked out one of his wands and sent a silencing charm followed by a runic array that would make it stay for two weeks. "We are done here," he said, and they walked off.
About two hours later, while everyone was in the village, Harry and Emily were currently in one of the study rooms in the library talking about the chamber of secrets in a low voice. Emily warded the door and put a strong silencing charm on the door, so nobody would hear. While they continued to talk, a knock on the door was heard. Looking up, they saw Dumbledore, McGonagall, and Severus outside. She undid the wards and aloud them in.
When the door opened, they saw that Flitwick was also with them.
Harry let out an annoyed breath "we were busy! What do you want this time?"
Albus responded, "Mr. Potter, I have received a disturbing complaint that you assaulted Miss. Granger today. Come with us so we can schedule your punishment," he ordered.
He just let out a dark chuckle "you really are an idiot if you think I am going anywhere with you, old man. Just so you know, Granger came after me, and I have every reason to defend myself."
"Mr. Potter, I did not ask for your opinion" his twinkle was absent from his eyes, and he tried to probe the boy's mind. "You will follow us now or…"
"Or what you'll expel me," he mocked. "Do that, and I will just be homeschooled and leave this place. When I do, then I will just let the board of governors know that you're biased again and not listening to my side of the story."
Flitwick stepped in. "Mr. Potter, there is no need for that" he then turned to Albus. "Headmaster, we do not have all the facts. It would be better if we heard both sides of the argument beforehand out punishments."
"A rational suggestion, unlike the goat who is too bias toward Gryffindor house," Harry commented.
Dumbledore spoke again, "Mr. Potter, I am the headmaster of this school, and you will show me some respect."
"Why don't you make me, you goat fucker, or are you just going to force me into another marriage contract with the Weasley family," he said, not backing down.
The aged wizard was about to speak but was cut off "enough, you two," Minerva said. "Honestly, every encounter you two have is always unpleasant. Now we will take this matter to my office. Is that acceptable?"
The two glared at each other for a long minute before nodding in agreement.
"Merlin save me, please," she said. "Miss. Granger is already waiting in there. Let's go" then she led them out.
Harry sent Emily a mental message to meet in the room of requirement. The journey to Minerva's office was silent when she opened the door. They saw Granger sitting in one of the chairs, looking triumph at the fact that Potter was going to be punished. Obviously, she still couldn't speak.
She sat behind her desk and began, "Mr. Potter, earlier this morning, an altercation occurred between you and Miss. Granger. Would you please give us your version?"
"Gladly, my friends and I were eating our breakfast having a conversation. Then the bushy-haired nightmare" he indicated to Hermione, "started accusing me of sabotaging her entry into the accelerated program. She went on to say how she deserved it more than Daphne did. I told her that I didn't care whether she got in or not. A few more words were exchanged between us, and she demanded that I apologize to her and write to the W.E.A and explain why she was to be accepted."
He continued, "Emily and I got up to leave and while we were walking the hallway. Granger violently turned me around, held her wand against me, and demanded an apology. I acted on instinct and removed her hand from myself, then kicked her in the stomach that made her fall on her back. Then followed it up with a silencing charm and a runic array."
Hermione was shaking her head violently at what he said. Minerva was about to speak, but Harry beat her to it by taking out his wand and giving a magical vow to show that everything he said was the truth. After demonstrating that he was still alive and had his magic, he put it back in its holster.
"Alright then," McGonagall started, "well will you please remove the silencing charm from Miss. Granger" it wasn't a question, and he knew that given her stern expression.
"Yeah, that will be a problem," he said. Everyone turned to his general direction, waiting for an explanation "if I remove that charm while it's reinforced by an array, then there is a chance she will lose her voice for a month. Then again, that actually sounds like an idea. Wouldn't have to put up with her screeching for a while."
Dumbledore and McGonagall paled slightly at what he said. Severus's lips twitched "there is a logic to keeping it on Miss. Granger. Plus, it would help me when I have the girl in the potion's class. I might actually get some peace."
"Severus," Dumbledore said in a warning tone. The potions master just sneered.
Filius stepped in. "I believe I have a solution," he said. "It's clear that what Mr. Potter said is the truth given that he gave a magical vow. But since Miss. Granger cannot speak to give her version. I suggest she write it out."
The other three professors agreed, and Minerva opened one of her desk drawers and pulled out parchment, ink, and a quill for the girl. Once it was in her possession, she immediately started writing out her version, and when it was done, she gave it back to her.
"You're saying that Mr. Potter was the one to start the confrontation and was the reason why you are not in the program?" she asked with a stern expression. Hermione just gave the nod. "Miss. Granger, Mr. Potter, had just given a magical vow saying that you were the one to start the argument. If he did lie, he would either have lost his magic or be dead at the moment. And you and I will be having a talk later."
"Oh, for Merlin sake," Severus groaned "would you just punish them already, Minerva" he recommended. "I have better things to do than watch you stall."
She just narrowed her eyes at him, which didn't seem to face him at all. Then turned to Hadrian, "Mr. Potter, you will have two weeks detention with Professor Snape," she said then turned to Hermione "Miss Granger, you will serve…"
"Come now, Minerva," Albus interjected, "I believe Miss. Granger has suffered enough. She cannot even speak."
"You really are senile, Dumbledore," Harry said. "If I have to serve detention, then so does Granger. Now she either gets punished, or we take the matter to the board. It's your choice" he was giving him an ultimatum.
He followed up with "and with your reputation as it is. You might be forced to step down. Then maybe this school would not be a joke."
Albus was having a hard time reigning in his temper "that is not your decision to make, and you will not be speaking with the board of governors. As for Miss. Granger's punishment she already can't speak no need to add insult to injury."
"That's a load of dragon's dung coming from you," he shot back "because of your meddling and arrogance, Tom Riddle became Lord Voldemort and killed hundreds. Well done in failing to clean up your shite," he began to clap him mockingly.
"This, not the time to discuss that topic," he said, "and that was not my fault. I didn't know that he would become a monster," he protested.
"Yeah, right," Harry rolled his eyes, "just like you didn't know that there was a basilisk running under the school or the fact that you seem perfectly happy to let others clean up a mess you created. So much for the great Albus Dumbledore. Can't even fix his own mistakes. Now make a choice: your position as headmaster or Granger's punishment!" He was not going to back down and allow Granger to get off scot-free.
Dumbledore's anger at the boy's ultimatum had put him in a difficult position. Either he risks his position and loses the opportunity to mold the boy into what he wanted or has the Granger girl punished. "I'm warning you now, Mr. Potter, don't push the issue too far. Miss. Granger has been punished enough and doesn't need anymore."
Harry closed his eyes and gave a dark chuckle "then you have made your decision," opening his eyes, "I hope you have your retirement plan ready." With that, he began to leave the room.
"Enough!" Minerva shouted. "You two will behave like civilized people. Now, as the main aggressor Miss. Granger will be punished." She then turned to her. "Miss. Granger, you will also be serving two weeks of detention, but you will do it with Mr. Filch," she said in a final tone.
Granger tried to protest, but no words came out. Dumbledore then turned his head to his colleague "Minerva," that was as far as he got. "Professor Dumbledore, you will do well to remember that she is a member of my house, and I will decide her punishment."
Albus let out a tired breath.
"Now, you two may leave," she said to both of the students.
As Harry was about to exit, he gave one final comment "It turns out the headmaster of this school is a pathetic goat fucking bastard who should be dead by now. That might solve most of the world's problems," was all he said before leaving.
The professors were completely shocked at the boy's comment. Severus had to admit that the meeting had surprised him immensely. He was brought out of his thoughts when Filius spoke, "why is that you cannot seem to leave the boy alone, Albus" he said in annoyance.
"The more you push him, the more he will push back."
Dumbledore looked at his charms master. "Mr. Potter is the one who started this mess," he claimed. "There is no reason for him to act the way he has been."
"After what you did, it's a no wonder why he hates you as much as he does," Filius said. "You had no rights putting him with Petunia or trying to force him into a marriage contract. Those would make anyone mad. I don't know what else you did to him, but I will say that if you push him anymore, then you will be sorry."
"I only did what I thought was necessary," Albus defended, "and Harry will need to accept my decisions."
"As far as I see it, you have made mistakes after mistakes when it concerns him," Filius retaliated. If you don't clean up your mess and soon then you will be looking for a new job" he then left.

Two hours later, Harry, Emily, and Severus were in the room of requirement. They had taken precautions and were wearing protective gears. Byakko and Suzaku conducted an extensive sweep of the chamber and found nothing dangerous left. The only thing they could say was that the mouth of Salazar Slytherin was more than just a place for the basilisk to be held. Harry summoned the Sword of Godric Gryffindor and hooked it to his belt. When the two gods came back, they explained that Dumbledore put recording and sensory wards around the bathroom. So, it was decided that they would have kai flame them inside the chamber.
The vermilion bird asked if they were ready to depart. Everyone gave the nod and was told to grab hold of his tail feathers. The three grabbed hold of the feathers while he rested on Byakko's head, and at that moment, they were all flamed out of the room. Quickly as they left, they landed in the chamber next to the deceased body of the basilisk; Emily backed away quickly and flicked her wand out.
Harry raises a hand "calm down, Em," he said in a soft voice. "The basilisk is dead and cannot harm you."
She still held her wand out but was less tense.
"Come along," Severus said as the torches lit up, brightening the chamber more. He then motioned for them to move toward the head of Salazar Slytherin; Harry flicked out his wand in his left hand as they approached the pool of water. Expanding his senses into the water, he found nothing in there. Then looked at the others and shook his head. "If we are to get inside, then we are going to need a clearing and some stairs," he said loosely.
Emily suddenly got an idea. "Harry, why don't you speak in parseltongue? You never know."
Harry took a deep breath "clear the way and give me some stairs," he hissed. For a moment, nothing happened, but then a narrow walkway rose from the pool, and a set of steps leading up to the mouth formed. "Wow! I didn't think that would work."
He then proceeded to open the mouth itself and hissed again, "Speak to me, Slytherin, greatest of the Hogwarts Four." It was the same thing that was used last year by the fragment of Voldemort. The mouth opened, revealing the entrance, Suzaku flew to his right shoulder, and he cast the lighting charm as they went in. As they walked in, they found another of the skin's basilisk shed. "Judging by the level of magic I'm seeing, the basilisk must've lived in here."
"What do you mean?" Emily nervously asked. She didn't have the magical sight he did, so she wondered what he was talking about.
"I'm saying that this part of the chamber is infused with ancient magic," he explained. "Where if I could make an accurate guess, this was where the king of snakes hibernated for a thousand years."
"That is putting it mildly," Severus came in "even I can feel the level of magic in this part. It is… vexing," he said in a silk voice.
Walking a bit further down, they heard something "Riddle, I told you to never show your sorry arse face here again. You are a disgrace to my lineage!"
Then next came a different voice. "You are unworthy to be in this school for all the shite you've done! Were if I alive I kill you before the others got the chance!"
Moving forward, they saw two large portraits. One for Salazar Slytherin and the other for Godric Gryffindor, and neither were happy.
"What is the name of Merlin" Harry whispered. The other two were just as surprised when they saw two of the four founders.
"Who are you three?" the picture of Salazar demanded.
Godric stared intently at the boy to the left and saw that his sword was attached to the child's belt. "What are you doing with my sword, child?"
Harry soon regained himself "no way! Godric Gryffindor and Salazar Slytherin," he said in amazement. "I have heard stories about you from my ancestors, but that's all.
"Ancestors?" Godric tilted his head a bit and looked imperiously at the child. "What are you talking about?"
"I am Hadrian James Potter, your descendant" he then brandished the sword from its sheath on his hip and showed it to him.
The next thing was completely surprising as the Godric exclaimed, "well, it's about damn time. One of my descendants finally comes to see me" he laughed.
Salazar glared at his colleague then turned his attention to the others "why have you all come here, and where is Elletear?"
"Who is Elletear?" the small girl asked.
"Merlin, they're idiots," he muttered, "my familiar girl."
"If you are referring to that basilisk of yours, then she is dead," Harry answered.
"What" he exclaimed.
"Do you want the long or short?"
Godric spoke up "why don't you tell us what you remember" he suggested.
"But before that," Salazar intervened, "how is it that you were able to get this far in my chamber? This place can only be accessed by an heir of mine and if they bring people down here."
Harry answered, "I defeated Tom Riddle three times and won the heirship from him. As for my dad and sister, I asked them to accompany me. For a while, my magic has been telling me to return here."
Salazar stared at him for a long minute as if he was judging the boy. "If what you say is true and Riddle has been removed, then place your hand on my portrait and declare that your right to take up the Lordship of my house."
Harry slowly walked forward and placed a hand on the portrait. "I, Hadrian James Potter, scion of the House of Potter, hereby claim the title of Lord Slytherin through a right of conquest. So, mote it be." When he finished, he was enveloped in a blinding flash of green and silver. The magic was judging if he was worthy of the title, and after a few minutes, it accepted him as the new Lord of the Most Ancient and Noble House of Slytherin. On his right hand next to the Gryffindor ring appeared the Lord's ring for the House of Slytherin. The ring had a gold band with a green emerald and a snake on the inside that hissed.
Everyone marveled at what they had just seen. Salazar recovered first "now step through my portrait. The others are waiting for you" the portrait then opened and allowed them inside. Stepping through, they entered a private chamber. Which looked exactly like the Slytherin common room, with a burning fireplace in the corner, a large four-poster bed, some couches, a desk sitting across from the bed, some couches in front of the fireplace, and two separate doors. But what caught Harry's attention was the rather large portrait hanging above the mantle of the fireplace. In it was the other two founders Rowena Ravenclaw and Helga Hufflepuff.
"Well, hello, there," the latter greeted "it's been so long since we've had any real company." Meanwhile, the former was staring intently at the raven-haired boy and the two animals that came with him, then it donned on her "oh my god! It's two of the magical creatures that reign over the magical world," she said in a barely audible voice.
When the other two came in, they barely heard what she said, but they also noticed the heavenly beast, and all four bowed in respect.
This had truly been a day full of surprises, Harry, Severus, and Emily thought. The latter regained herself and spoke "all of the Founders of Hogwarts. This is amazing!"
The two females just laughed.
Rowena responded, "what is amazing is that Salazar actually let someone in his private chamber. That alone is a miracle!" she commented.
Salazar sneered at her and explained that the boy was now the Head of his House, much to their surprise as they assumed Tom Riddle was his heir. Though, they were happy that he didn't become Lord Slytherin as they had heard both Godric and Salazar shout about the arrogant boy and everything he had done. Rowena, however, kept her gaze on Harry. She saw in him the same magical aura that her family always had.
"Um, Hadrian was it?" she asked him.
"Yes, ma'am," he respectfully answered.
"How is it that you have the same type of magic my family possessed?"
Hadrian bit the lower part of his lip. "I am Xander Ravenclaw's descendant," he replied.
Rowena's eyes became glassy at the mention of her younger brother. She loved him very dearly and was heartbroken when she heard he passed away. "Xandie," she muttered before wiping her eyes as tears were starting to come out, "I see that you have elemental sight. That ability is only passed down through my family. Are there any other members of my house?" she asked with hope in her eyes.
"No," Harry shook his head, "I am the last living member of your and Godric's bloodline," he sadly said.
Godric came in, "but you told Salazar and me that those two were your father and sister," he pointed at Severus and Emily. "Now you are saying that you are the last of our families."
"I was adopted," Harry said, "Severus is my adoptive father, and Emily is my adoptive sister."
"What happened to your birth family?" Helga tentatively asked.
"All dead courtesy of Voldemort," he said with a bit of anger.
Salazar narrowed his eyes as he had an idea of who he was talking about. Meanwhile, the others just looked confused. "Whose Voldemort?" Helga asked.
Hadrian took his wand and started writing Voldemort's birth name and then slashed it so they would form 'I am Lord Voldemort!' they were all sporting angry expressions on their faces. No one was more pissed than Salazar himself as he began swearing-in parseltongue. Godric was a close second as he was cursing the day Voldemort was born.
"Where is Elletear?" Salazar asked.
"Elletear?" Severus asked.
"My familiar," he said with a sneer. "For that matter, who are you?"
"I am Severus Snape, the school's potions master and the current head of Slytherin House. Your familiar is dead!"
"What" Salazar roared in anger. "She was supposed to be in hibernation! How can she be dead?"
The three looked at each other for a moment debating on the best way to tell him. Harry stepped forward "what is the last thing you remember about her?"
Salazar kept narrowing his eyes "just that, that brat Voldemort came into the chamber and had her start petrifying the muggleborns at Hogwarts. After that, he boasted about how she killed a girl in the bathroom."
"Hold on a minute," Emily said, "don't take this the wrong way, but I thought you hated muggleborns and wanted to purge them from the school."
"I never hated muggleborns," his anger quickly returning "I hated muggles! Those vicious cunts were burning children at the stake just because they could do magic. Elletear was placed at the school to protect the students from those bastards."
"I might be able to fill in some of the gaps," Harry said "however, you are not going to like what you hear," he warned.
Rowena motioned for them to sit on the couch, which they took. Once they were all seated, Harry started explaining what happened last year. He spent the next hour talking about what Voldemort did after Myrtle Warren was murdered and how he pinned the blame on Rubeus Hagrid getting him expelled. Then explained the events of the previous school year about the muggleborns being petrified, and he was being blamed for it. Only after he was cleared at his trial and his battle with both the sixteen-year-old version of Voldemort and Elletear was his name cleared. He also elaborated about what Tom did to the basilisk to enhance her body, "and that's about it."
Needless, to say the founders were apoplectic when he was finished as they were swearing and cursing in different languages. Salazar was the most vocal as he was loudly cursing in parseltongue "they put you on trial just because you were able to speak parseltongue. Why did they not investigate and search for the truth?"
Severus stepped in "that would be because the ministry is run by a moronic minister who only does what he is told," he said with disdain. "Not only that, but the people in Great Britain have the mentalities of sheep."
"Did any of the students at school defend you?" Godric asked.
"Only a small group of people believed me to be innocent," Harry admitted. "The worse came from your House. For a better part of most of the year, I was ostracized, vilified, and subjected to attacks from everyone."
"What about the other professors?" he asked as his anger spiked.
Harry scoffed. "Only a few teachers stood up for me. The others were all too happy to sit idly by and let me be attacked or participated and added to the treatment."
"And the headmaster?" Godric enquired.
"That old goat was the worst and subtlety accused me of attacking the students, even after I was cleared of the crimes I've been accused of," Harry replied.
"What has happened to our school?" Helga looked was ashamed of the members of her House. Not only that, but she was also thoroughly disgusted with the way her descendant from the House of Smith behaved.
Hadrian started explaining how Dumbledore had the curriculum lowered and only allowed the teachers to teach the students the bare minimum. Elaborating about how Dumbledore was bigoted against anything remotely dark and refused to have the students learn about it. Then explained the bitter rivalry between lions and snakes and how they attacked each other rather viciously. Told about the blood bigotry between purebloods, half-bloods, and muggleborns as they constantly fought. Finally, he explained how the students have become so weak-willed and adhered to the negative stereotypes of the different houses they were sorted in. He started off with the Godric's House of lions as they were nothing but a show of arrogant bastards who thought that their actions were justified and that they could do whatever they wanted.
Then went to Salazar about his Slytherins. Many of them were believed to be a house of dark wizards and witches in training. They became exceedingly arrogant, choosing to obtain as much power as they desired without considering the cost. Even ganging upon those that were weaker than them. When done, he moved to Helga's badgers and explained how most of them became a house of gossiping idiots who were too happy to listen to the rumors and fall in line with others without thinking for themselves. It didn't help that they all behaved like a bunch of crybabies when things didn't get their way. Last was Rowena and her eagles. They were antisocial who believed that they were the only ones to possess all the intelligence in the castle. Many of them were so proud that they would sometimes look down on those, not on the same intellectual level.
The four founders were sporting emotions of anger, shame, disbelief, disgust, and most of all, outrage at what has happened to their school.
It took a few moments, but they eventually calmed down enough. Rowena was the most rational of the four and chose to speak "speaking for all of us. The school we built to educate and protect magical children has sunk so low. It's hard for us to even digest how bad things have gotten."
"Believe it," Severus said, "things took a turn for the worse when Albus took over."
"Well, at least this Voldemort is dead," she commented.
"I can assure you he is not dead," Harry said in disgust. "The arrogant prick cheated death and is still roaming around somewhere."
Helga was, "how is that possible? You gained his heirship when you defeated him. By all accounts, he should be dead."
Harry was about to speak, but Salazar beat him to it. "Helga defeated and dead are not the same thing," he said in a snide tone. Then looked back at Hadrian "he created that abomination, didn't he?"
Harry gave him a grave nod. "Yes and no! He created more than one," he responded.
"Frick, Fuck" Salazar roared. "I'll be back in twenty minutes" that he exited the portrait and went somewhere else.
Twenty minutes later, he came back with his eyes burning with rage. "Care to explain why you are in such a state?"
He turned his attention to Helga "that miserable bastard actually created Horcruxes."
"What," the others said in absolute rage.
Godric then looked at his descendant "do you know how many he created?"
Harry shook his head "however, we know the ones that are destroyed and the ones that are out there. The ones destroyed were his diary and the Horcrux in my scar."
"He made you a Horcrux," Godric shouted, interrupting him.
"When he came to kill me that night when I was a baby. His killing curse rebounded and destroyed his body. What was left of his soul latched on the rune on my head," he explained, showing them where the thing was lodged. "After I was brought to my family's ancestral home, my house-elves used their magic to expel it from my scar."
"What about the ones that are still intact?" Rowena asked.
"That is something you all are not going to like," he replied gravely. "Riddle turned your diadem, Helga's cup, and Salazar's locket into Horcruxes."
The three were enraged at what they heard. Riddle dared to transform their prized possessions into Horcruxes. Rowena was the angriest. Her diadem was stolen by her daughter Helena when she ran away. At the time, she didn't care about it; she just wanted her daughter back. While she was on her death bed, she ached and cried to see her daughter once again and sent the man who loved her. When she found out he killed her in his rage then killed himself, she breathed her last breath.
"Wait a minute," Helga said, looking at her friend, "how did Riddle get a hold of your diadem? You said you lost it!"
Rowena let out a breath "the truth is Helena took it with her when she fled the castle one night," she admitted.
"You lied to us," Salazar said in shock.
She gave a slow nod. "I wanted to protect my child. Helena only wanted to make herself smarter, cleverer. So, I sent the Baron to go bring her back. When I found out he killed her, I lost the will to live."
"Do you know where she is now or where your diadem is? Godric asked.
"The last I heard, she was a ghost in the castle, that's all I know," she began sobbing. "Even now, I miss her very much." Helga placed an arm around her and started comforting her as she could only imagine the pain Rowena was going through.
Harry watched them but was immediately assaulted by some memories. He yelled in pain and clutched his head as they came in. Severus moved to his side immediately. "Hadrian, what wrong?" he asked with concern.
Harry barely heard him as he saw Voldemort put a diadem in the room of requirement for safekeeping.
When the pain started to die down, he was panting rather heavily. "I know where he put the diadem," he said in a low voice.
Severus removed a potion from his belt "drink this before you go to bed" he gave it to Harry. "It's a variation of the calming draught and a dreamless potion."
Harry put the potion in his pocket. Severus resumed. "I need to take a look inside your mind and see where he put it," he said carefully. Harry gave him a nod and allowed him in; using their link, Severus entered his mind and saw the memory flashed in the boy's mind.
After getting the location of the diadem, he pulled out and looked back at the four founders. "Hadrian just received a memory of where the Dark Lord put the diadem."
"Where" the four cried out.
"The room of requirement," he answered. "We have to go destroy it!" he continued in a firm voice.
Before he could say anymore, Rowena came in, "before you leave. I have to ask two things of your son," Severus grunted in agreement. "When you destroy it, please find Helena and tell her that I never blamed her for leaving or stealing the diadem" she desperately wanted to see her daughter again. Even if it was for a moment, "next, take up the lordship of my house."
Harry gave her a nod in understanding.
Salazar took his chance to speak "see that torch" he pointed to a lit torch that was next to the fireplace "pull it, and you will find a secret staircase that will lead you to the fifth-floor corridor."
Harry and the others thanked them and left. Emily pulled the torch down and watched it open up, revealing a flight of stairs. Severus added a quick disillusionment and silencing charm to his feet. With that, they ascended the stairs. The entire time they walked up the stairs, the torches lit up. That was until they stopped at a brick wall with the same torches. Expanding their senses to see if anyone was near, they found no one present. Harry pulled the torch, and the wall started sliding apart, and they arrived in the fifth hallway corridor. As soon as they came in, the wall sealed itself shut. Not bothering with it, they went to the room of requirement as fast as they could. Muttering the password, they entered and began looking around for the diadem.
Searching the room, they couldn't find anything. Harry thought, 'I wish I knew where Tom put that Diadem at' the magic of the room heard his thoughts and manifested a sizeable box in front of him. "Oi, over here" Severus and Emily came rushing to where he was, followed by Byakko and Suzaku. Harry flickered his wand out and slowly levitated the box onto the coffee table. Opening the lid, he saw the diadem of his ancestor and was immediately drawn to it. It was then Byakko let out a ferocious roar, and Suzaku squawked did he regain his senses.
The latter spoke, "young one, whatever you do. Do not place that abomination on your head," he warned.
Harry saw the level of dark magic in the diadem and the inscription written under the eagle "Wit beyond measure is man's greatest treasure" he read so they could hear. "That's the Ravenclaw motto" using his wand, he levitated it out of the box and placed it on the table, then brandished his sword and stabbed it. A painful scream emerged from the diadem as the basilisk venom destroyed another fragment of Voldemort's soul.
Sheathing his sword, he waved his wand over the diadem to make sure that there were no other nasty surprises. The results indicated nothing was left. Turning to his dad, he motioned for him to see for himself. Severus performed a different diagnostic spell and got the same results as Harry did "the soul has been destroyed and there no residual traces of dark magic."
Harry picked up the diadem and placed it on his head. "I, Hadrian James Potter, scion of the Most Ancient and Noble House of Ravenclaw, hereby swear to bring back and uphold the honor and traditions of my House. So, mote it be." He was engulfed in the blue and yellowish-brown aura of the Ravenclaw magic, judging to see if he was worthy of being the Head of the House. After waiting a few moments, the magic started seeping into him, and the Lordship ring appeared on his finger: a gold band with a blue diamond on it with an eagle cawing. He then removed the diadem from his head.
"How do you feel?" Emily asked with concern.
He answered, "different but the same. I guess that's how it must be when a person takes up two Lordships in a day. I have to put this diadem somewhere safe" he took it off and went up to his room. Going in, he opened his trunk and placed the diadem in the 6th compartment of his trunk. Closing it, he activated the defenses around it so that only he and those he authorized could access the trunk. Then he returned back downstairs.

Meanwhile, Daphne, Tracey, and Lilith were in high spirits as they headed back to the castle. All three girls enjoyed their trip to Hogsmeade to the fullest. The village may have been small, but it was full of things to do. They were carrying shopping bags, mostly full of clothes from Twilift and Tatterings; others were filled with new parchments, quills, and some sweets.
"That was amazing," Lilith happily exclaimed.
"You don't even know the half of it," Tracey commented. "I can't decide what I liked the best, the Magic Mixer or Twilift and Tatterings."
Daphne let out a giggle. "I think you liked both equally as much, Trace."
She followed up with, "I hope the guys had fun today!"
"Blaise was with Lisa Turpin the entire day. How he convinced her to go on a date with him is beyond me" Tracey shook her head. "Harry didn't say what he was doing, only that he had plans. Let's just hope that he didn't get into any trouble," she said half-jokingly.
That earned a light laugh from Lilith. Daphne replied, "Harry wouldn't be Harry if he didn't get into a little trouble now and then," she claimed with a smile. However, it faded when they saw Granger and the two youngest Weasley coming toward them.
"I hope you snakes are happy," Ron said with his ear pink.
Tracey responded, "what are you on about, Weasley?"
"Thanks to y'all corrupting Potter, Hermione was denied entry into the accelerated program, cannot speak for two weeks and has detention now."
Daphne stepped forward wearing the cold mask she usually wore "how is it our fault of what happened to Granger? And what do you mean she cannot speak?"
Ginny came in. "Harry put a silencing charm on her. Apparently, it has some wards on it that will make the charm stay for two weeks."
Daphne, Tracey, and Lilith looked at each other then burst out laughing.
The latter spoke, "so Granger cannot speak at all. Harry deserves a medal for that."
Ginny stepped forward "it is not funny she can no longer ask or answer questions for class."
"That is actually a miracle for us," Tracey commented, "now we don't have to listen to her regurgitate a book to answer questions."
Daphne followed up with, "and we don't have to endure her condescending voice."
Granger tried to speak, but no words came out. So, Ginny did "watch it, snake" she glared malevolently at the blond "you may have Harry buying your good attitude, but you can't fool me. I see right through you! From now on, you stay away from my Harry and his family."
The taller girl stepped forward and looked down at the youngest redhead. Her cold blue eyes made the girl recoil slightly. She heard of how the Slytherin Ice Queen could be. "I will make this simple for you, Weasley: Harry is one of my best friends, and if we want to hang out together. Then that is our business. If you try to attack me in any way, then I'll show you just what I learned from him in martial combat." She then moved the girl and went into the castle with the others following behind.
The girls went back inside and headed for the Slytherin common room.

At Mount Everest stood a citadel. The landscape around it was treacherous and very difficult to climb, let alone cross. This is exactly why people without magic mostly ended up dead because of the region's elements or the dangerous creatures. Unknown to the majority of the magical world, it was the most magical place in the entire world as it was the location of the Magus headquarters. For generations, members of the magus organization have used the region to conduct business. Their citadel was the most heavily guarded place globally and could be accessed only by the members.
In a dimly lit meeting room on the fifth floor, the eight-hooded councilmembers of the organization were sitting around a large circular table, staring into the bright crimson fire. When the gong sounded, an aged man wearing a ceremonial magus uniform entered the room with two guards. The man walked up the stairs to his desk while the guards stood by the entrance. Standing behind his desk, he addressed them "my fellow councilmembers, you were summoned today because it is time to see who is ready to join our order," he said in a gruff voice.
"A great evil plans to destroy the magical world and as the sons and daughters of magic. It is our responsibility to ensure that our world has a future" he paused for a moment, then spoke again, "now, would you all turn your attention to the fire. We will see who is ready to join us."
The members stared intently at the fire to see who was to be selected. As the fire turned azure blue, a total of ten different faces started appearing in flames. Most of them were young and not even 15 yet; however, it uneasy when the last two were chosen. The flames eventually became crimson again.
"It has been decided that these ten will become magi's," one of the council members said.
The person on the other end spoke, "this is not right. Powerful the boy maybe, but he is still a child and should be allowed to enjoy himself" the voice was female.
Next came the person to her right. "I stand with my colleague on this. We should not be inducting children into our affairs yet. Especially, not those two. However ready they may be, they are still young and should not be pushed into matters. Not to mention I highly doubt his father would agree."
"Be that as it may," the voice came from a few chairs to the left, "magic has already decided. And you two have forgotten two things: the boy was chosen by the White Monarch and the Vermillion Bird. Two: his family has long since had members within the order. The boy's grandfather even sat on this council."
"True," a feminine voice to his right said, "but the man was 15 when he joined us. His grandson is only 13."
Her colleague on the other end of the table spoke, "whether they or we like the matter is irrelevant. Magic has already decided who was to join." He then looked up at their leader "High Magus! What is your decision?"
The High Magus intertwined his fingers and silently weighed the pros and cons. Spending the next ten minutes debating, he reached a decision "adjourned debate this is. Though the child may be young, magic has decided that he is ready to become one of us" he turned his head at one of the two who protested "I trust that you will tell the child that he's been chosen."
Reluctantly the hooded figure nodded "what about his friend of the girl? They've known each other for years and are as close as siblings. Should I pass the message to her also?"
To his question, he only received a nod "they are ready!"
"If they agree," he began, "then I like to request that they be placed under my wing."
His fellow council members debated the matter of him taking two kids as his apprentices. After a few minutes of debating, they agreed to his request.
The High Magus stood up "then it has been decided" he clapped his hands together. "If they agree, then they will be placed under your care. When you see them next, tell them of our decision," he instructed.
The councilmember stood up and gave a respectful bow "by your wish, sir," he then sat back down. So, they could resume the meeting.

On the run, the escaped death eaters were in a safe house, debating their next move. Merlin, they were happy to be free from Azkaban. Though, their disappearance from their cells did not go unnoticed as they were being hunted. For the most part, they've been carefully avoiding any of the auror patrols. Antonin groaned in annoyance "we need to keep moving and find the Dark Lord immediately" he then looked at the dark mark on his left hand.
Bellatrix came in "we need to split up. One group will go search for him, while the other goes and collects some of our allies."
Rudolphus held his wife's hand. Relishing in the fact of being reunited together. "But we will have to be careful with who we meet with. The ones that claimed to be under the imperius curse cannot be trusted. By all right's we should kill them for deserting the Dark Lord."
"What about Potter?" Wormtail asked. He still had nightmares from the last time he met the boy. Oh, how he wanted to make him pay.
Some of the others agreed with the simpering fool. Bellatrix spoke, "he is to be left unharmed."
"What," Peter said scandalized, "he subjected me to torments that I could only ever dream of. I want revenge against him and the other Blacks."
Bellatrix had a murderous look in her eyes and whipped her wand out, holding it against his throat "you will not touch any members of my family with your unworthy magic. I should kill you right now for even saying such things against my family."
"But he" Wormtail was whimpering now.
"But nothing," Bellatrix kept her wand pointed at his throat, "aside from Narcissa, son, he is the only other candidate to become the heir of the Blacks." It shocked her to the core when she found out the boy was a pureblood and not a disgusting half-blood. Silently, she was happy that her annoying cousin James had married a pureblood woman. That and the fact that the boy appeared to be very powerful for his age. Then again, she was raised by the elders of her family.
After what happened with his duel against Morrison, she did a silly dance at what he did to him. The boy was brutal and ruthless in battle and certainly had what it takes to be the future of the House of Black. Unlike Narcissa's son Draco. It still annoyed her to no end that her sister married a fool like Lucius and could only guess that his spawn was a weak little boy with no spine. The mere thought of that turned her stomach.
"Fine, I'll stay away from him," Wormtail answered. Bellatrix glared malevolently for a minute, then snarled, "just to be clear, you will be coming with me and the others to retrieve the Dark Lord. I want to keep an eye on you."
She then turned to the others "six of us will go out searching for the Dark Lord, while the rest heads to the other countries and bring back some of our allies that are in the shadows."
Jugson spoke, "I'm pretty sure we can find Greyback," he proudly said, "I bet he and the other members of his pack will be happy to be reunited with us."
"So, it's decided," Rabastan stood up, "Bellatrix, Rudolphus, Dolohov, Rockwood, Pettigrew, and I will go search for our master. Meanwhile, Rowle, Travers, Jugson, and Mulcibur will travel and locate some of our allies. No, unnecessary risks we don't need to draw attention to ourselves."
Rudolphus came in "soon we will be reunited with our master, and he will lead us to victory."
Mulcibur chimed in, "then it's settled we leave in two days. Pack everything you need!"
A/N: Emily's animagus form is a Horned Serpent. Ironic really in my opinion not only is she a water elemental she is smart and able to sing. As for the thing with Granger part of me thinks that I may have gone a little overboard with what Harry did to her. Don't get me wrong the silencing charm was a good touch this way she can't speak for a while. I like putting Dumbledore in these positions, but this is only the tip of the iceberg of what is to come for him.
Harry and his family members return to the chamber of secrets and meet the four founders. He obtains both the Ravenclaw and Slytherin Lordships and will be putting them to good use. Rowena admits the truth about her lost diadem. Salazar is disgusted with Riddle's actions.
Another Horcrux bites the dust.
The magus council has a meeting where they discuss who has been chosen to join them.
Next Chapter: One of Daphne's forms is going to be revealed. Also, Harry gets his second form, and it will be a great surprise.
I have tallied the votes and the main two are Ice and water. Do not worry I am a man of my word and will make one of her forms a magical creature. In fact, I have the perfect magical creature in mind. As for his form for sea ventures that is up to you all.
