Hello. I've been gone for a while. I know... sorry... Anyways let me know leave a review if you enjoyed it.

This night was unusually quiet. It was rather comforting. Silence has an odd appeal that very few could claim enjoyable. However it shouldn't be much surprising since the silence was found inside of a closet. No matter how big or small it's always abnormal to find peace in a closet of all place. Or was it the need for something unusual that was the cause to b within the closet odd? Is this concerning? More thoughts ran across her mind as Mai reached for a shirt on a hanger to toss it in a suitcase next to her. Effortless tasks allowed her mind to wander off. How long has it been since she had been in here? To answer her question she heard the sound of a knock. She exited the closet to see someone she least expected. "Your last visit was not pleasant. Plan to further pull me down?"

Marik rolled his eyes as he let himself into the room closing the door behind him. "Now what kind of hello is that? I tried calling but all I could reach was a voicemail"

Mai turned to see the phone on her bed. How long had it been since she stopped checking her phone constantly waiting for a call back? She felt her stomach twist when she picked it up only to see missed calls from Marik. What was she expecting at this point? No phone calls in weeks maybe a couple months even. She sighed, just move on already. She turned her attention back to Marik who was headed over towards her closet. "I'm assuming you're wanting to tag along?" She kept her eyes glued on him.

"I am forced at this point, I owe someone." Mai sighed, looks like their beach getaway wouldn't be only family. "Besides it's about time you had someone treat you decent." he now was carrying her suitcase with an odd smile.

Mai tilted her head, "This your idea of a joke?"

Marik laughed as he walked out the room. Mai followed behind him. "I'm trying to make you feel better and like I said I owe someone. Don't worry I've arranged everything it'll be my treat."

Mai shrugged and followed behind him. If there was anything Marik was good it, it was definitely surprises. Usually meant something lavish. Of course Mai wasn't let down when she stepped up into a private plane, however that wasn't what surprised her. "Yami?" Yami turned around and smiled widely. "What are you doing here?" She had not seen Yami for a couple of weeks since he and Tea broke up. Maybe that was the reason the apartment had been quiet. Normally Yami tries his hardest to spend time with Tea and Mai, he was always a huge family kind of guy.

"Sister!" Mai turned around to see Tea with the biggest grin on her face. Tea held up her left hand pointing at the beautiful diamond on her finger. "We are planning the wedding!" Mai stood there shocked. Marriage? When? WHEN? She thought the events of the last few weeks over in her mind over. She didn't recall there ever being a conversation about a wedding. She had been stuck at home moping with her sister. How does a break up turn into fucking marriage? "Marik is going with us to our beach house and he's paying for everything! Yami and I thought it would be great if he came to spend some time with you since of course you'll be the maid of honor…" Tea rambled on as Mai took a seat.

Her little sister was to be married. A phrase she could not believe. She had so many questions. When did this even become a possibility? What happens with her and their apartment? Does this mean Tea is moving out? Mai began to panic, does this mean Tea is leaving her too? How did this vacation turn into this? Immediately tears started running down Mai's face. "…That's great…" was all Mai could manage to say as she sat down and began their trip.
