Good Morning, my dears! Welcome back to Lockdown! I know we're all so excited about Edward coming to LA. I had a typo yesterday in my AN and I did go back to fix it. Edward is 25. In my head the rest of the house was 22-23, but I've now realized that would make a handful of them too old. So we're just going with, everyone is a flat 22 (and my apologies if you saw me calculating ages yesterday on FB. My mind has been scattered this week!) Okay, let's get into this!

Day 7: March 19, 2020

Jasper

Los Angeles, California

I have to physically hold Alice back as she ends her phone call with Edward. "House meeting!" she screams at the top of her lungs. I wince, trying to bring her back to the sofa, to get her to calm the hell down before she has a heart attack. I hear the clunk of Emmett coming down the stairs. He, Rose, and Bella appear, looking annoyed and confused. "What the hell?" Rose demands.

"Edward is coming here," Alice says, without preamble. "He just bought a ticket. He's gonna stay with us."

There is silence in the house for exactly three seconds. "Wait, what?" Bella asks at the same time Rose demands, "and where is he going to stay?"

Alice is up off the sofa again, pacing. "I'm sorry. He has to come here. My dad is high risk, and Edward will go insane being trapped with my parents. He's a student; he needs to at least be with other students," she points out. Everyone is still gaping at her. "Shit, he's going to need to quarantine when he gets in. I know you just moved into the spare room, Emmett, but…" Alice looks at Rose, whose nostrils flare.

Man, she's pissed.

"Look, it's just for two weeks while we make sure he's not infected, okay? He can move to the fucking sofa after that if he has to." Alice is so frantic, she's barely making sense. Bella lets out a sigh.

"When's he arriving?"

Alice has apparently stopped listening and is focused on typing furiously on her phone. I look at everyone else and answer for her.

"Tomorrow night."

Eesh, how do you think the girls are feeling about this development? I loved that some of you were already bunking him with Bella upon his arrival. Edward has never met any of the housemates, he only knows his sister, though he knows Jasper through phone/skype calls, etc. No one knows quite what to expect from each other at this point.
