Chapter 39

Player 2 Has Arrived

"It's good to be the king."

"The small fleet of ships burned behind us like an emblazoned send off. Their crews and hulls, a new addition to the vast wrecks that the ocean claimed as its own. Our mighty vessel had stayed strong in the face of danger. A few new wounds marred her beauty, but it was nothing that couldn't be fixed. Now though? Now was the time to bask in the glory of victory. My hair flowed gloriously in the oceans breeze. The red and gold life blood of myself and my enemies mixed into my clo—"

THWACK!

"God damn! Mother fucker!" A new pain was added to my already throbbing skull. A wild Annabeth stood behind me, her face looking like she was done with yesterday and today was pushing it, with her fist raised to give me another punch to the head. "Why the head?! I'm not made of rubber you know! That hurts!"

"Good!" The blonde lowered her hand, but I had the feeling she would hit me again at any moment. "Maybe that will get it through your thick skull just how dangerous your plan was."

"It worked didn't it?"

"And nearly threw all of us over board in the process!" Annabeth yelled before she let out a sigh as she seemed to calm down slightly. "And now Clarisse and Lou Ellen are at the port with the monsters."

"They know the plan, and I trust them to be able to get away."

Annabeth looks at me for a long moment, her grey eyes trying to pierce through my very soul before ultimately looking like she just gave up on an impossible puzzle. "You and your weird sense of trust." She muttered.

"Annabeth," Grover walked up with Beckendorf. "I know you want to yell at Percy more but I think we need to actually attend to her wounds because I think she was shot in the head."

I was? Ah right I was.

I reached up to the side of my head and felt around the injury. Probably not my smartest action…

It's not.

But I was rather curious about it. I had to take my hat off for it, which itself sucked because the hat was awesome, but I didn't just stick my finger in it like an idiot. I attentively touched around the edges. It didn't hurt as much as I thought it would but then again, I can't really see the damages.

"Stop touching it." Beckendorf ordered as he grabbed my hand. "Let me have a look."

"You know I can just heal it with water, right?"

"Yeah, yeah. But I'd rather make sure that you don't trap a bullet in your skull when you do."

"…Your captain permits you to check their wounds Shipwright Beckendorf."

He rolls his eyes but there is some amusement judging by the small upturn of his lips. "Whatever you say captain."

"So, should I be worried about you poking at my injuries?" I couldn't help but ask.

Beckendorf lifted my hair out of the way and from the slight bit of pain he had to pull some strands out that might have stuck to the wound. "All cabin leaders are required to take a first aid course when they become leaders. I went for further training due to potential accidents in the forge." I was part through my own first aid training with Adamos but I never heard of any first aid classes from Chiron even though I was the cabin leader even if it was by default.

"Well all things considered the wounds not that bad. It just bleeds a lot." Beckendorf concluded, backing away. "It honestly looks no worse than a scrape. I doubt it'll even leave a scar."

"Not as ba…Percy was shot in the head!" Grover cried in disbelief. "I saw the bullet. That wasn't just a glancing blow!" My satyr friend turned to me with a mix of worry and complete bewilderment. "You should be dead."

"Reports of my injury have been—"

"Greatly exaggerated." Annabeth cut me off. "Can't you be the least bit serious about this? You nearly died."

In all honesty I was being serious about this. It was just that quips and sarcasm were a coping mechanism that I had always had to defuse intense situations. A coping mechanism that only grew worse once a deity moved into a part of my head. I wasn't new to near death experiences, hell none of us were. Just another day in the life of a demigod so it wasn't as if I was freaking out about a first-time thing.

"You guys I'm fine." I waved them off as I stood up. "All in all, this is a good thing. I'm now certified bullet proof." I smiled.

"Bullet resistant." Beckendorf threw that in. "You're still bleeding so that means your bullet resistant. Enough of those will still tear you a new one and don't even get me started on if they bring out a higher caliber. I don't want you to test yourself against 7.62's or anything higher." He leveled an even stare at me that made me feel like I was sitting in the principal's office waiting for my mother to come.

"I promise to avoid them." I dutifully said while still trying to show I was captain on this ship. A captain must keep up appearances after all. "Now that it has been settled that I'm not in life threatening danger, off with all of you." I shoo them. "I think we all need to rest after that battle and I still have to steer the ship."

Not giving them a moment to comply I march right off and into my captain's quarters and close the door. Was it mean since they were just worried about me?

Probably.

But at the moment I just wanted to rest a bit. With a small flick of my wrist all the water in a bucket that I had placed in the room the night before flew to my hand and I placed it against the bullet wound. Immediately I felt the injury heal over and in a manner of seconds I was as right as rain.

"I'm honestly surprised that I'm still alive." I think as I sat on my nice bed and take off my captain's hat to look at the gash the bullet made. "A bullet to the head isn't a very demigod way to go out."

"But dying in battle is." Eve replied. "But that's not what you wanted to know."

I only nodded.

"Your body has been experiencing a change recently…"

"More than it already is?" I raised a brow as I motioned to all of my new feminine curves.

"That will only last a few more days at most."

"Oh, thank god." Words weren't enough to tell how relieved that made me.

"Yes, hooray for you, now if you'll let me explain…" I didn't say anything. "Your body is greatly developing at an accelerated rate."

"But I thought that doctor I went to last month said I was growing normally?" Even us demigods need physical checkups.

"Your body is but not your muscles. All the extra training you do is pushing your body to the limit and just a bit beyond. Your muscles are tearing themselves apart and reassembling back into something stronger. That combined with subjecting your body to the deep ocean pressures and your demigod biology is making you far more durable."

"So, I could almost literally have abs of steel?" I couldn't help but laugh at the idea.

"You and every other demigod that's willing to go through my training regimen. Although if you had trained like those demigods then you wouldn't be seeing results like these until you were probably seventeen. So, congratulations, your years ahead of the curve."

"Maybe I should try teaching the others when we get back to camp." I mused but Eve didn't respond. It was basically her way of saying 'do what you want' but that didn't mean that she was going to help me if I did decide to do it.

I sat up and looked at the chest that sat at the edge of the bed. There was a lot of distance between us and camp and I had many chests of potential treasure to sort through. I mean this money wasn't going to count itself.

X

Three days to sail back to Long island was how long it took. It was a miracle that we made it back that quickly considering we were on a sailing ship. It seriously pushed the limits that the ship could take and I was wondering if it would just fall apart on us halfway through our journey.

I had a very serious conversation with Beckendorf that involved a lot of haggling and deals to get the Hephaestus cabin to completely refit the ship so as to make it sea worthy once more along with a few modern upgrades to spice things up.

All it cost me was…ugh, two of my three treasure chests.

Three treasure chest that are filled with gold, gems, jewelry and other undoubtedly expensive things. There was probably close to a million dollars in just one of them. That's as much as a top floor apartment in the good part of New York.

Although technically one chest was for the materials since they cost a pretty penny, and the other chest was for the entire cabin to shove aside other projects and focus on the ship.

I did however manage to convince Beckendorf to build me something personally as part of the deal. I had some blueprints that I had gotten from Eve/Adamos and decided that since they were already building my ship, I can have this as well.

The use of celestial bronze and magically enchanted mortal metals will speed up the process greatly, and the blueprints will cut the production time practically in half since the research is already done.

I'm so excited for when they finish it!

Anyways we did have a minor problem with food as the only thing that I had that we could eat was an assortment of nutrition bars from my bag. They weren't bad by any means, but they were kind of dry and one can only eat so many before you get sick of them.

Especially since all I had were strawberry and blueberry flavor.

Note to self; bring more food in my bag.

X

I am not looking forward to this. Not in the slightest.

The ship was being pulled into the camps lake through one of the many waterways that connect the lake to the Long Island Sound. A group of Naiads were kind enough to pull the ship for us rather than rely on the wind or me having to use my powers to push us along.

Not that I could seeing as I am currently squatting in a bush in the middle of the forest.

"I still can't believe you jumped ship."

"Yeah well its not your reputation at stake now is it?" I sniped back in a hushed tone.

"They already saw you through the Iris message." Eve pointed out. "Its not like they wouldn't just forget that."

"I know, I know its just… I'm really hoping that I can salvage some semblance of my reputation in this camp." I let out a sigh as I can only imagine the rumors that have spread around camp. Teenagers can be so mean after all.

"And that's why your trying to find Hestia?"

"Hey if one goddess turned me into this," I gestured to my feminine form. "Then another goddess can change me back, and hopefully wipe everyone's memories."

"Well it isn't not the most absurd leap of logic I've ever heard." Eve responded before her tone turned a worrying level of mischievous. "But this all depends on your level of stealth. Something I've never really trained you in."

I could only groan as walked through the camps forest, the grass rustling with each step. Eve was right. Other than a few basic things Eve never really taught me anything related to stealth, only how to walk quietly when sneaking out to train at night.

Thankfully I remembered most of the layout of the woods. It's how I knew that I was getting close to the auditorium.

Nobody seemed to be around as there were all hopefully at the lake watching the ship pull into the docks. I had left specific instructions with Beckendorf on how to dock the ship as well as a written note for Mr. D in case he wanted a few answers. Of course, I also took everything on the ship that belonged to me in my backpack. My one treasure chest, clothes, maps, a few weapons and tools from around the ship, and of course my captain's hat.

Wouldn't put it past the Hermes cabin to loot around my ship when they got the chance.

"If they try, they are all dead." I mumbled as I passed through the clearing and pressed myself the auditorium. The seats were mostly empty except for a few stragglers who were heading to the docks and a couple making out in the center seats.

I waited as most of the campers left, leaving me alone with the two lovebirds, both of which looked to be a few years older than me. They were so engrossed in their own little world that they didn't even pay attention to me as I crouched low towards the stairs. Each step was steady and slow as to avoid making any mistakes or sounds that would draw their attention.

"Stop!"

I was almost to the top and out of the auditorium when the girl suddenly screamed. I'll admit that I freaked out a bit at the sudden voice to the point that I dove into the seats as silently as I could. Luckily the seats in the auditorium were made from stone rather some other material that would have made a sound like metal or wood. Slowly I peeked over the lip of the seat in front of me to spy on the two campers.

What I thought was a call for me was instead a false cry to her heated lover. The two of them had moved from being seated to a far more compromising position. Her body laid over his, her legs straddling his waist as she giggled. Their faces were so close that they were almost touching.

"Ehm?"

"!"

"I know you're a teenager in the beginning of puberty but come on." Eve chastises me as I scurry out of the auditorium, though it was more amused than anything. "It's a bit early for you to become a voyeur."

"I-I just got distracted." I mumbled heatedly as I tried to look as inconspicuous as possible. I don't know why I stopped, but ever since I…changed, I had begun to notice things. Things about other people that I had never really paid attention to before.

But now wasn't the time to focus on that.

I walked through camp with my head on a swivel as I looked over the apparent damages that occurred while we were all gone. The bounded field that I made was more a stop gap than an actual replacement.

A few of the buildings around camp had only superficial damages. Nothing more than a few claw and teeth markings, and judging by the size the monsters weren't all that large. The workshop for all the arts and crafts that we do did look a little fire damaged, not that I was complaining since learning to weave bracelets and baskets were never my idea of fun at camp.

"It's honestly not as bad as I thought."

"A true miracle. Whoop di do."

A lazy drawl stopped me in my tracks as I stood in front of the activity's buildings. I dreaded this moment. I really hoped that this wasn't happening and prayed to the fates that one of the few people I didn't want to see wasn't standing behind me.

Sadly, the universe seemed to hate me.

"Hey Mr. D, I was, ah, just looking around. My tour guide ditched me and I was just wandering." I tried to pretend to be a new camper, hoping that his utter disinterest in the campers will prevent him from knowing it's me.

The wine god just gave me a flat look as he took a long slip from his diet coke. "If you want to start lying, I suggest taking lessons from the Steal triplets."

"You mean the Stoll twins—dammit." I couldn't help my stupid mouth. "I take it news of my…change isn't new any longer."

Mr. D smirks and I couldn't help but grimace. "I have seen three different riots take place in the last three days."

I blinked in disbelief. "Riots? What could cause riots?"

Mr. D reached into his cargo shorts and produced a folded piece of paper that he handed to me. With a small amount of skepticism and worry I unfolded it and nearly broke something in the process.

I don't know how and I don't know why, but on that single sheet of paper was a very detailed and anatomically precise drawing of myself in a sexy position.

"Why?" It was all I could say as I felt a mixture of emotions. Mostly anger, mortification, and indignation.

"After your little show Persephone," I was really getting sick of that name. "One of the other brats managed to snag a picture. From there copies were spread around until these little works of art were made." He gestured to the paper in my hands. "The Aphrodite brats took exception to this little art ring and were practically up in arms when their top ten beauty list was thrown out of whack and they couldn't decide any new placments. It was hilarious until one of the little shits spilled my diet coke." He finished with a small scowl.

"Any chance I could convince you to wipe all evidence of this," I pointed to the picture. "off the face of the earth?"

"Not a chance in hell."

I sighed as I suspected that outcome, but that didn't mean I was willing to give up. I reached into my bag and dug around until I grasped to items. I lifted them both out and Mr. D's eyes widened. "Not even for two bottles of aged rum?" I shook the two bottles in front of him, letting the liquor slosh around in the bottle. I had found them in the desk in the captain's quarters and put swiped them just because. I didn't really like alcohol all that much considering you know who and I was 50% sure they had gone bad, but you never knew who would want it.

Mr. D's face never changed but I could tell he was warring with himself by the way that his Diet coke was starting to grow vines. "Quite the tempting offer." His smile looked forced before turning genuine. "But watching you deal with this seems more entertaining."

"Now doesn't that sound to familiar."

"I'd rather you didn't make it sound as if we do the same thing." Eve spoke in distaste.

"Then how about for you never bringing up this subject up ever again?"

"Now that I can do." He snapped his fingers and I felt the bottles disappear from my hand and appear into his own. He quickly opened one and began downing it as he walked away.

"I seriously hope he gets some kind of poisoning from those." I spoke flatly before walking off.

"We can only hope."

If the entire camp was already riddled with sexy pictures of female me than there was no point acting subtle to save whatever reputation I had if everyone already knows it.

Though I'll avoid the Aphrodite cabin just to be safe.

Luckily for me the dining pavilion was empty as I walked between the stone tables up to the center. There sitting at the steps in her usual spot was Hestia. Her face was buried within the book just like how I usually see her. She let out the occasionally snicker and I could only guess at what she could be laughing at.

She knew I was here though. She was a goddess after all and she had already pulled out a book mark by the time I stopped in front of her.

Her gaze was as warm and comforting as the hearth she tended to as she gave me a once over. Her smile was a mix of different emotions, ranging from amusement to concern. Nothing mocking, because that was just the kind of person she was.

"Percy your looking…well." She said with a bemused tone. As she gave me a once over, I tried not to collapse right there and hug her small childlike body.

"Can we talk in my cabin?" I asked, feeling far more exhausted as I talked to her. "I'd really like to get this over with."

Hestia complied with my request and followed after me without any hesitation. Neither of us said anything during the entire walk and I even saw a few campers here and there but they all wandered off as soon as they entered my line of sight. I'm pretty sure Aunt Hestia was leading them away, and act I was pretty grateful for as I didn't want to deal with people at the moment.

It wasn't very long before we both stepped into the Poseidon cabin. I barely managed to drop my bag before I crumpled onto my bed. I wasn't physically tired but rather mentally. I had spent much of the trip back stewing on what my return to camp would be like and I really wanted to put the whole female body thing behind me.

I felt a pair of small hands run through my hair in a soothing manner as I buried my face in my pillow.

"Did you have fun?" Hestia's soothing voice filled the room and already I could feel my stress leaving me.

"Mmmmph." I grunted in partial affirmative.

"And I take it you had a few bumps along the road?" Again, I grunted in affirmative.

"You know you look an awful lot like Adamos did when he was growing up." Hestia poked me on the back as she spoke with a teasing tone. "Hera and I always thought she was the prettiest in all of Greece. I'm pretty sure I still have some of her dresses that might fit you."

I felt a flush of embarrassment from deep within, and I actually had a hard time telling if it was mine or Eve's.

"No offense but that sounds horrible." I moved my head from out of my pillow to respond properly. "I think I'd rather go back to normal."

"Are you sure? I think you'd look pretty good like this."

"Positive." I didn't even have to look at her to know that she was mildly disappointed, but she didn't push it.

Unlike before the process wasn't noticeable. There was no blacking out, no feeling of change or anything. If I hadn't felt my clothes getting smaller on my body, I would have thought that Hestia decided to be a little mischievous and let me stew in anticipation for a little bit.

I sat up from my bed and looked down to find that could actually see my stomach when I sat up straight.

"I can't even tell you how much better this feel." I rolled my back, stretching out the muscles now that there wasn't a weight affecting them.

"Are you sure you wouldn't mind staying like before? I could have added so many new photos to my scrapbook." Hestia prodded as she held a baby blue book decorated with lace.

"Positive." I replied with an expression that was as flat as paper.

Hestia pouted rather adorably due to her childlike body. "Didn't have to say it so quickly." She muttered. She let out a sigh as she got off my bed and patted my leg. "Anyways, its quite good to have you back safe and sound Percy. Make sure you stop by the big house at some point. Chiron arrived earlier today and would be quite pleased to see you." In a burst of fire Hestia disappeared leaving me alone in my cabin.

I said a quiet thank you as I got up and changed from the female clothes back in to my regular apparel. I reached out and grabbed the woman's clothing along with the other pairs that I purchased on Circe's island. I contemplated throwing them out or even burning them, but for some reason I found myself putting them into one of the spare dressers.

"It wouldn't be a bad thing to keep them around."

X

It was the day after the quest ended it felt as if nothing had ever changed. Last night I went to see Chiron like Hestia asked me to and I had to admit that I missed him greatly while he was away and we talked for a little while about what he was doing while he was away.

Apparently, the centaurs travel around the country on a constant party tour. Chiron hitched along while they were in Boston and had since been traveling with them until the news came down that he was to be reinstated as the activity's director once again.

Other than that, we talked about my part in the quest and while he chastised me for sneaking onto the quest, he did compliment my ingenuity and willingness to partake in 'drastic' measures to save the others.

After that life returned to normal at Camp Halfblood for the most part. The Aphrodite cabin was having mixed feelings about when I went to get breakfast this morning with half of them giving me a critical eye while the other half trying to convince me to change back to a girl in order to test makeup on me.

Thank Chaos that Selina was there to drive them off.

The Hephaestus cabin had already started to work on the ship after they got their payment and had started by replacing the rotted parts of the ship and reinforcing the hull with metal. I did ask them to not touch the flag unless necessary since that's what identified it as Blackbeard's ship.

I caught up with the others from the quest and the girls were genuinely happy to see that I was back to my old self.

I didn't know whether to be flattered or annoyed.

Grover decided that he was going to leave in a few days in order to resume his search for Pan. It did bum me a little that he was leaving so soon but he reasoned that without the fleece to lead him astray, the chances of finding Pan have never been better.

One surprise that I didn't expect was for Chiron to announce that the chariot races were still taking place, only with revised rules and safety measures.

I could still hear the crowds cheering as I reached the top of the hill. Much like before I wasn't participating. I didn't have a chariot or a second person to help me so I resigned myself to checking the barrier around camp as well as my own bounded field.

Many of the stakes that I planted were still there but some were either missing or broken, leaving noticeable holes in my bounded field. It was only meant to ward off monsters but I guess a few still managed to stumble in and tear up the stakes in order to make bigger holes in the field which lead to some of the damage around camp.

But now that the barrier around camp was fixed, there was no longer a need for the bounded field. Not that I would go and disassemble it, that would take way too much effort. Instead I'll just turn it off after I'm done inspecting the pine tree.

"It's really looking much better." Adamos, now back in his male form, commented as we looked over Thalia's pine. "The needles have regained their luster; the bark is looking healthy."

"I'll take your word for it since I'm not a botanist." I commented as I looked over the tree. The fleece hung from one of the tree's branches, shimmering in the sun. It had only been there for a few days but the once near-death tree was looking even better than it ever had before. "Though the camps boundary is much stronger than before."

"It is, but I hope you realize that this won't stop our enemies." Adamos spoke seriously.

"I know." I sighed. As much as I hated to admit it, he was right. Even if the barrier was stronger than before, Luke was still out there gathering allies for his army and doing who knows what else. This victory only managed to stall Kronos's resurrection if nothing else. "But having a bit more time is better than nothing."

"We will need to ask Hestia to check in with the other gods." Adamos brought up. It took me a moment but then I remembered the meeting with Athena, Apollo, Artemis, and Hermes we had after we returned the bolt. "We've spent a good deal of time out of contact so they should have found something by now."

"And we're asking Aunt Hestia to check instead of meeting them ourselves because…"

"While I don't doubt Apollo and Hermes being willing to talk to you, Artemis and Athena however…"

"Would shoot me on the spot, right." I let out another sigh. "I don't know if I'll ever be one for this shadow warfare stuff. I kind of wish that all of this was simpler."

As I said those words, almost as if the universe itself was listening to me, the sound of cracking wood broke me from the conversation.

I jumped back in surprise as the pine tree that protected the camp started to shake and move like it was alive. Wood splintered as a crack split the tree down the middle, like some one put an axe to the center, and from it a girl fell out.

I rushed forward, catching her before she fell to the ground. It was more instinct than any conscious thought and it did take me a moment to process what the Hades just happened.

"Well there goes simplicity, right out the window." Adamos sighed flatly. "You should probably check to see if she is alive."

"R-Right." I snapped toattention as I cradled her in my arms and immediately went through what I knew about first aid that I learned from Adamos, which we had admittedly not gotten through all of the training.

I got a good look at her as I looked her over and for the life of me couldn't help but feel like I had seen her before. She had spikey shoulder length black hair with a few streaks of blue highlighted in it. She had dark eyeliner around her eyes and freckles around her nose. She looked to be the same height as me if not a little taller if her long, slender legs were anything to go by. As I shifted her around, I could feel her well-toned physique through the black leather she wore over a Green Day T-shirt. I would have blushed as I put my ear to her breasts, which while still probably growing were still noticeable through her shirt, but I shoved that feeling down in favor of professionalism.

BA-BUMP

BA-BUMP

I let out a sigh of relief at the rhythmic thumping of her heart. It was a little on the slow side which had me worried for a moment, but it was definitely beating.

I raised my hand and let a small white flame form in my palm. Gently I pressed it to her forehead and her breathing began to even out. Her skin slowly turned to a healthy hue, still lighter than my own though.

"She'll live." I concluded once I was satisfied with how she looked. At this point I figured that all she needed was rest. "When she'll wake up, I'm not so sure."

"…We need to bring her to the infirmary." Adamos spoke in a serious tone. "After that we're going to need to tell Chiron and Dionysus about this. Things have just gotten more complicated."

"Do have an idea who she is?" I asked as I tried to remember where I had seen her before. It was like an itch that I just couldn't reach. I know I've seen her somewhere.

"The golden fleece is an artifact that promotes vitality and healing in everything around it. When Zeus created the pine tree he preserved the body and soul of his daughter in order to keep her from Hades in fear that he would torment her in the afterlife."

The pieces slowly clicked into place in my mind and I sucked in a sharp breath as I looked at the girl in my arms. "You can't be saying…"

"I am." Adamos spoke in grim finality. "This girl is Thalia Grace. Your contender for the child of prophecy."

I only had one thing to say to that.

"Holy shit."

Unknown location

Within the darkest recesses of a location unknown, a flash of light filled the empty void for the briefest of moments showcasing the black stone walls before it dimmed to a small glow around a single armored woman.

Athena, goddess of wisdom paid no mind to the oppressive atmosphere of the cave around her as she marched forward. Her armored greaves clicked against the stone floor in perfect tempo, no step longer or shorter than the other.

It had been centuries since she had last stepped foot within these walls and mentally cursed at herself for such blatant neglect of duty. Even if the titans weren't threatening to rise, that was no excuse to neglect the state of their prisoners.

This wasn't the first time that she had neglected such things but this also wasn't the first time that whispers of the Titan kings rise had happened. Threats like this had been happening every other decade for the last millennia and at some point, the Olympian council had just stopped caring about false threats of the rise of the titans.

Besides, she had far more important things to do than pay attention to false reports.

Like updating her evidence room for her lost husband's whereabouts. She knows that he is still alive and as such devoted much of her time scrounging up whatever information she could find about him, even going so far as to make a few deals with other pantheons for information. Through them she had managed to track him down all the way to Ireland before he seemingly disappeared.

The fact that no matter what she wasn't able to find any evidence of his existence from that point on nearly broke her heart. Each fruitless search was another wound in her heart that refused to heal.

Athena stopped and shook her head, refusing to travel down that dark and lonely road in her mind.

Now wasn't the time to delve into her own self-loathing.

The wisdom goddess looked up at the massive monolith that stood before her. To call it a door would be both a fact and a mistake at the same time. While it did operate like a door it looked no different from any of the walls around her. It rose fifty feet to meet the ceiling and if she remembered correctly was almost five feet thick.

Athena pressed her hand to the wall, the surface was cool to the touch, and with a modicum amount of effort she pushed.

The stone door groaned as it scraped against the floor and ceiling. The mechanisms creaking after many years of disuse.

She would have to ask Hephaestus to take a look at it after she was done.

She stepped into a relatively bare room and immediately her breath hitched.

Her divine senses spread out around her while her eyes scanned for clues only to come up with the one outcome, she dreaded the most.

This prison had been emptying for a long time.

Athena let out a heavy sigh of aggravation. "I don't know what's worse. The fact that Olympus may fall in the next few years or that the seaspawn knew of this before me."

Office of Hermes

Despite the fact that the messenger of the gods was always traveling and making deliveries, it was true that he did in fact have a rather impressive office. An office that he barely spends more than an hour a week in but an impressive office none the less.

Now however he was breaking his previous record by sitting at his expensive solid oak desk for the fourth hour in a row and he didn't seem to be moving any time soon.

"Eris!" Hermes shouted at his door as he fingered through small book. He was so engrossed that he didn't even look up as the goddess of discord walked into the room with an expectant look on her face.

She was beautiful in a way that many would say was a mix of cute and sensual, features she proudly inherited from both of her parents. Though her sister would often comment that it came at the cost of her height as she wasn't a very tall woman, standing at an even five feet due to her inch-high heels.

She had long black hair that went down to her shoulder blades and vibrant purple eyes that left many a person looking over their shoulders in paranoia. She wore a simple business casual outfit of a white shirt that showed off a decent amount of her ample bosom under a black blazer along with a pair of tight jeans showed off her slender legs.

"What do you want boss?" Eris replied in a bored tone. It was almost time to clock out and like many others didn't really want to stay any longer than she had to.

"Have you gotten in touch with any other minor gods lately?" Hermes asked, ignoring her lack of respect when speaking to him, not that he cared since changing her quirks was a futile effort. "I've been trying to set up meetings with some of them but they just aren't returning my calls."

Eris tapped her chin as she thought for a moment. "I went drinking with Thanatos, Hypnos, and Persephone last week. Went to karaoke with Nike, Hebe, and Persephone a few days ago." Eris furrowed her brow in concentration before she snapped her fingers. "Oh! I talked to my sister Tiam—"

"Eris." Hermes cut her off. "You know Lord Zeus doesn't like it when anyone talks about…her." His tone was weak as he spoke and he barely put any effort into the reprimand but the goddess of discord scowled anyway.

Her sister was always a sore spot as unlike herself the goddess of primordial oceans didn't have the backing of a living primordial to keep the lightning god off her back.

"Other than them I haven't." Eris bit out, her mood officially soured for the day. "And don't ask if I know where they went. I don't"

Hermes nodded with resignation. It was unfortunate but at least he had a few names that would most likely respond to him. "That will he all Eris."

With a sharp nod the chaos goddess left the room, and Hermes let out a sigh before diving back into his contact book.

After all, contact #117 wasn't going to call themselves.

A/N: Hey everyone here's another chapter. From this point I will have a filler arc between now and the titans curse so look forward to that. At the end we see just how a few of Percy's reluctant allies have been contributing to the war effort behind Zeus's back.

AthenianShakespeare: While that is a good idea to use the ship to make it all the way to Artemis the problem with it is that the ship is undergoing renovations so its out of action for a while. As for introducing Adamos…I'll think about it.

MSKN: Go for it. If I can provide any entertainment with my writing than I'm happy. For the love triangle idea, I don't know about that. I want it to be only Perlia. As for all of your recommendations for my story I will take them into consideration and I even find a few of these ideas appealing.

Poggers man 546: I will.

Lohr: I'm glad you enjoyed the story so far. I won't give Percy Excalibur. Adamos would sooner loose an arm than allow someone other than Arthur to wield Excalibur. Thanks for the weapon suggestions though.

Rhol: I'm glad you like the story. Indeed, Adamos is not one to hold Percy's hand during his adventures. He will help and prod him in the right direction but he will no longer outright help him unless he has no choice. Adamos loves hero stories since he was the first so he enjoys watching them struggle and overcome such obstacles.

Ex555: Yeah, everyone finds fem!Percy to be hot as hell, but no one is comfortable with it.

Matt: Sorry about missing the last review response. I was sleep deprived when I finished it. Thanks for responding for me.

Sultan Asil Arslan: Adamos doesn't really do things by half when it comes to his love life. As for Percy the pirate king, he's all about the adventure but the authority of a captain is pretty alluring and he doesn't take invaders on his ship lightly. Other pantheons will eventually show up.

Frostboi88: No problem

TheDragon2000: thanks!

Warlord009: Thalia!...HAS ARRIVED!
